We had the most wonderful time at Casa Cacha. It is a beautiful property in the most beautiful settings. We could not believe how easily we were able to spot the toucans and other birds in the back garden. Carlos the gardener was very helpful. The pool has been done very well and the natural set up suits the property and area perfectly. The beach was quite rough while we were there in mid August. We were able to still have a good time but we could imagine how lovely it must be when it’s calmer.

We just had the best possible time in this wonderful house. EVERYTHING was great. The communication with Angel, the house itself, the rooms, garden, pool, beds… Just a few minutes walk to a beautiful beach and a lovely restaurant. Just a few minutes cycling to yoga, other beaches and small shops and a few minutes driving from more shops, a small town, many restaurants etc etc. Would definitely come back!!!

The house is spectacular, spacious and clean. We saw so many animals (Tucans, monkeys and parrots) walking distance to the beach and close to many restaurants.

There's just one small detail regarding the house. Although all rooms have their own private bathroom. In the social area on the ground floor, living room, kitchen, and dining room, there is no half bathroom, so you have to use the bathrooms in the downstairs bedrooms. Otherwise great.

Excellent accommodation, super comfortable for large families and an excellent location. We would definitely come back.

Cacha overall was an amazing experience. We loved the secluded feeling of being in the jungle but still close to the beach. It was peaceful & quiet with the exception of the welcomed sounds of rain & wildlife. It truly is a retreat. It reminded me of a mountain cabin deep in the woods. There is a bedroom, as noted, outside the main house. The bathroom w/ separate toilet, shower, & outdoor sink is not connected to the bedroom, but we did not mind. It felt rustic. Kids didn’t use the pool because they weren’t too excited about the fish and mossy bottom but for me it was like hopping in a refreshing river. Our dogs loved the open space and my kids loved lounging on the wrap-around porch. The house doesn’t have a lot of natural light during the day, but it was best to be outside anyway. Uva offers a more secluded vacation than the neighboring towns, with not much in walking distance, but the beach and jungle are beautiful. Wifi was excellent. Any concerns we had were immediately addressed.

Everything was available, beautiful villa and neatly maintained. Communication was also smooth.

Wow! Such an absolutely beautiful home and thoughtful host. The home was perfectly tucked into the natural surround and we enjoyed the sounds and sights of the local flora and fauna, from a multitude of different birds, beautiful butterflies, howler monkeys, and more! The natural pool was a highlight, it was so tranquil and the grounds were beautifully manicured. We could have spent the whole vacation just sitting on the porch looking out. Inside the home was spotlessly clean and well stocked. The area was fantastic just a 10 minute walk to the most beautiful beach, and close to nearby grocery stores and restaurants. We highly recommend El Rufugio Grill for a fantastic meal. We got airport transfer and massages through the host's recommendations and both were fantastic. The host was extremely responsive and friendly anytime we reached out. We were traveling as a family for my mom's 70th birthday and it couldn't have been a more wonderful trip. this place is dreamy. we saw lots of monkeys, toucans, macaw, red eyed tree frogs, and more from within the property. very spacious and clean place. would love to come back!

We absolutely loved this place. Quiet, private and such a beautiful home with amazing landscape. If you are trying to decide between this location and a few others, do yourself the favor and select this AirBnB. Angel was very helpful, responsive and addressed all of our needs. We met Peter and his wife, both super friendly and gave us some great suggestions. The home was clean, comfortable and had everything we could ask for, just as advertised but even better. We did fall in love with a young kitten while there and he was super sweet, if you see him, please be nice to him, he’s so friendly and sweet but he’s scared as well. I honestly could not be happier with our stay in Punta Uva. Easy walk to a beautiful beach and not far from Puerto Viejo. I’d suggest renting a quad or side by side, or even a scooter. Nice short ride to all the area has to offer. We will miss our time and thank you sharing your home with us.

The best villa we have stayed in in Costa Rica. Super comfortable mattresses and pillows, well-equipped kitchen, nice pool (which people came to clean and maintain), comfortable loungers next to it. We wanted to extend for another 4 days, but unfortunately it was already booked.
