Casa Lupita

Incredible experience, this property is absolutely spectacular, the management is impeccable by the owners. We'll be back for sure. We have been coming to Santa Teresa for years and Casa Lupita is by far the best place we have stayed, the experience is as you see it in the photos. 10/10!!

Just returned from a stay at Casa Lupita. It was amazing! We have not been before, and traveled with a family of 4 - 2 kids ages 5 & 8. We had a great stay, it was perfect for our needs - private pool, kitchen, air conditioning, gated community with security guard, right by the beach, great home base for exploring the area. Kids loved swimming in the pool - super private and with a jungle sort of surrounding. Saw a troup of howler monkeys, including babies, swing right by our balcony. Never felt like we (our kids) were bothering anyone. Walkable to the beach - however, the road in Santa Teresa narrow and busy at times. But is a very short walk to the tide pools, short walk to the next beach walkway access. We ended up just driving to the closest restaurant for sunsets as parking was ample, and so we didn't deal with the walk. Was about a 2 minute drive. Amazing beach. Great base to visit Montezuma, Curu Nature Reserve. We did a Malpais zipline, and lots of tours are accessible.

We adored this place! Jana's decor is fantastic and there is plenty of room for three to stay and have their own space. The pool was a refreshing luxury and we saw howler monkeys and a green iguana right from the deck. Because this location is at the end of the condo collection, it's super private and feels remote. It's a bit of a hike to the beach and you have to walk along the road, so without a car this would not be a good location for someone with mobility issues. We wished for bikes and for the community to be set up for locking bikes at locations in town. Our only issues were that that the number for Jana was outdated on AirBnb so we didn't hear from her for the week before our arrival, making us a bit nervous. When finally she wrote us with the correct number and we got in touch, she was beyond accommodating and super responsive. She left us a food basket and the kitchen was perfect for our needs. The textures and art chosen couldn't be more intriguing and perfect.
