We had a great stay at casa Lupita. The private pool & fully stocked kitchen and bbq are very nice. Basics like linen, shower gel, garbage bags and toilet paper were provided and we were even left some beers and snacks to consume! This made for a convenient stay and saved hassle and extra cost. Communication beforehand though was extremely hard, to a point where I wasn’t sure if the booking was legit. Later on communication via WA was relatively responsive but I do feel that things could have been a lot smoother. There’s lots of life in the backyard with the occasional iguana, howler monkey or gecko checking in, which we really enjoyed. The place was clean to the eye although a bit grubby here and there. No problem for us, just not spotless. The only thing I really wished they’d improve is the communication beforehand. It gave me an uneasy feeling not having talked to my host 1 week prior to our booking. I’m glad everything worked out and would love to come back again sometime.

Increíble experiencia, esta propiedad es absolutamente espectacular, la gestión es impecable por parte de los dueños. Volveremos seguro. Llevamos años viniendo a Santa Teresa y de lejos Casa Lupita es el mejor alojamiento en donde nos hemos quedado, la experiencia es tal cual lo ves en las fotos. 10/10!!

La experiencia en el alojamiento de Jana fue maravillosa! El lugar es impecable, la ubicación maravillosa y Jana fue muy amable. Mi familia y yo tuvimos unas inmejorables vacaciones en su hospedaje.

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt. Das Haus liegt in einer "Gated Community" mit Security am Eingang, wir hatten das letzte Haus mit Blick in den Dschungel, wo nachts gerne einmal Affen durchs Gehölz hüpften. Alles war wie beschrieben, schöne Einrichtung, Obstkorb, Kaffee, Bier und Wasser zum Welcome, toll. Die Kommunikation war anfangs schwierig, so erhielt ich keine Antworten auf meine mails und musste das Service-Center von airbnb anfunken. Hat sich aber alles schnell geklärt und dann lief es super.

Just returned from a stay at Casa Lupita. It was amazing! We have not been before, and traveled with a family of 4 - 2 kids ages 5 & 8. We had a great stay, it was perfect for our needs - private pool, kitchen, air conditioning, gated community with security guard, right by the beach, great home base for exploring the area. Kids loved swimming in the pool - super private and with a jungle sort of surrounding. Saw a troup of howler monkeys, including babies, swing right by our balcony. Never felt like we (our kids) were bothering anyone. Walkable to the beach - however, the road in Santa Teresa narrow and busy at times. But is a very short walk to the tide pools, short walk to the next beach walkway access. We ended up just driving to the closest restaurant for sunsets as parking was ample, and so we didn't deal with the walk. Was about a 2 minute drive. Amazing beach. Great base to visit Montezuma, Curu Nature Reserve. We did a Malpais zipline, and lots of tours are accessible.

We adored this place! Jana's decor is fantastic and there is plenty of room for three to stay and have their own space. The pool was a refreshing luxury and we saw howler monkeys and a green iguana right from the deck. Because this location is at the end of the condo collection, it's super private and feels remote. It's a bit of a hike to the beach and you have to walk along the road, so without a car this would not be a good location for someone with mobility issues. We wished for bikes and for the community to be set up for locking bikes at locations in town. Our only issues were that that the number for Jana was outdated on AirBnb so we didn't hear from her for the week before our arrival, making us a bit nervous. When finally she wrote us with the correct number and we got in touch, she was beyond accommodating and super responsive. She left us a food basket and the kitchen was perfect for our needs. The textures and art chosen couldn't be more intriguing and perfect.
