We really enjoyed Brett’s place. It was close to some very interesting places like the butterfly garden, local artisan cheese factory and cloud forest eco park. Not to Mention el Chirripó trail head. Brett plays some mean guitar and pet friendly place.

Brett is an awesome human being, friendly, attentive, and just a good guy who provides a wonderful hosting experience. Thank you for taking care of our family.

Brett's place is very nice and comfortable, surrounded by nature, ideal for resting. Brett is super friendly, attentive and was always available for any questions. We didn't have a car, but we were able to get around with Uber without any problems. We would definitely recommend it!!!

Brett connected us with this lovely town and we enjoyed his two adorable dogs. The weather was amazing and the coolnights- but not too cool -were lovely. We enjoyed the gardens on the property which included banana, lemon and orange trees. Great restaurants we could walk to. Brett was friendly and helpful. Will go back again!

The space is modern and clean. You can watch many different bird species from the small balcony. Brett is also a very accommodating host. He took great care of us.

Brett was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. He even offered to pick things up for us and drive us to the other side of town. This spot is super cozy and perfect for bird watching.

Brett was extremely helpful during my trip and helped to coordinate transportation and logistics. I look forward to returning to Rivas!

Brett’s place was fantastic and he is an incredible host. We stayed three nights with our 18 month old. His place was clean, comfortable, and safe, with a beautiful garden and seating area out back. It is close to everywhere you would want to visit in the area. I cannot say enough about how great a host Brett is. He communicated well in advance of our trip and gave great tips about where to go and what to do, which really made the best of our stay. He was super accommodating of our baby and brought some toys for him to play with. He is a general great guy with awesome stories and sage advice about the area. 10/10 recommend and we will be back for sure!

Loved our stay! Super friendly and accomodating, we had breakfast and dinner prepared by Brett and it was delicious and made traveling with our 6 month old so much easier! The dogs were super sweet and we saw lots of pretty birds off the porch.

WE had an amazing stay. when Brett read we have a 2 year old, he went to get materials to close off the balcony so everything was safe. So thoughtful. Later he brought us some todler toys which our son used the full weekend. Very friendly and comfortable!

It was really great meeting Brett and staying in his wonderful cabin. We spent a fabulous 5 days enjoying the outdoors and everything that Chirripó has to offer. We’ve got two active young boys so did lots of hiking, fishing, river swims and of course football. Brett really helped us with places to visit and the best restaurants in the area. Our favourite was Robino’s, watching the birds literally right in front of you whilst eating delicious food! Next time we come, we’re hiking to the top! Thank you Brett.

It's a nice area. There's a cheese factory, several restaurants, and the Chirripó River nearby. There's a reservation called Cloudbridge that has waterfalls nearby. The accommodation is comfortable and has a cute garden, where birds are observed. It's very quiet and quiet. There are no sidewalks in the nearby streets, so getting around is best done by car. The listing does not have a TV, so if required, it is appropriate to bring a table game or fountain for the evenings.

Brett is a superb host! Best breakfast with extra elegance and ample coffee! He took care of us, helped us on finding good restaurants and nice hiking trails. Rooms are newly built with very comfortable beds. Best bird watching is on the small terrace for breakfast! Quiet location but close to activities, shops, and restaurants. A very pleasant stay! Brett is a great host! He helped us to get around, find hikes, restaurants and everything we needed! Beautiful breakfast and lots of coffee! Really nice beds, new building and comfortable room. WiFi OK. Nice garden with birds close by. Relaxing place with many activities in the area. Must come back and climb Chirripo.

The apartment is very nice, large and tastefully furnished. The patio is fantastic for a drink or a quiet reading. Brett is charming and really welcoming. The restaurant Le Batsu is 2 minutes by foot, cheap and very good. I would recommend it without a problem.

Brett’s villa was great for our stay, very clean, all the amenities were as described, we needed a blender and Brett got one for us, very attentive and responsive. The villa is close to a lot of activities and restaurants, the cheese factory near by is a highlight of the trip to that general area!! Pura vida!🇨🇷🙏🏼

Brett's place is in a very central location walking distance to town. I enjoyed easy access to organic vegetarian food at Kapi Kapi. In addition the apartment had large windows allowing you to see the beautiful jungle paradise that surrounds the property. I enjoyed mandarins from his mandarin trees and also enjoyed sitting on his balcony in peace. Chirripo is paradise and everyone should visit. We will be back Brett. Thank you for creating your space.

Brett was so friendly and helpful! His place was close to Batsu which had great food and a great atmosphere. We wish we could've heard Brett play. His place was close to different hiking spots which he recommended. The back patio was a great place to chill :)

My second stay at Brett's place now.. certainly won't be the last. Clean, spacious and central. A solid host. Perfect spot in Cero Chirripo!

Brett will be the best host you ever meet. From the second we made contact, Brett made me feel like a local. Great accommodations in the perfect central location. Will be coming back for sure!

The apartment holds all its charm from the huge windows and bay windows that overlook the backyard populated by birds. The kitchen is well equipped, and Brett has always been very responsive in case of small problems. Two downsides: the double beds are small (130 cm?) so you can't sleep together, and dogs barking at night. We stayed a week, and would love to go back to this very nice area. Special mention to the cheese shop, the bakery, and the Batsu restaurant, which are all very good quality and within walking distance from the apartment!

Brett is a fantastic host, the most communicative and accommodating we have ever had! He is very involved, always available to help us when we need something. We looked forward to his breakfasts every morning. When my stomach was hurting he brought me fresh herbs from his garden to make tea. When we needed an afternoon pick me up he made us a pot of coffee. He gave us a ride to get groceries. When the internet wasn’t great, he got us a new router. Overall, internet is still not great but is sufficient if you don’t need to do video calls. Brett us a great Fella :)

My parents and I had a wonderful time staying with Brett, I only wish that we had budgeted a few more nights to stay with him longer! Brett and Felicia are incredibly attentive and welcoming hosts with a heart for hospitality. They made sure that we had everything that we needed and provided an abundant and delicious breakfast with plenty of coffee to start our day! The place itself was absolutely beautiful with lots of big windows overlooking a tropical garden. My dad is a bird lover and was in heaven just sitting out on the back patio with a cup of coffee watching the birds flit from tree to tree. This place was also by far the best value that we received for our money while traveling through Costa Rica!

Beautiful, tranquil place to stay. Community was very friendly and welcoming, local restaurants very easy to walk to and good food, friendly service. Great place to bird watch right from the back patio or a number of other good gardens and bird watching places within walking distance. Wonderful and kind hosts with lots of knowledge of the area. Breakfast each morning was delicious and served on time every morning. We loved everything about our stay and cannot wait to stay again on a future vacation to Costa Rica.

It was beautiful, the place is too cute the weather is perfect and Brett was too kind and thoughtful. Breakfast is a delight and you have to try Brett's pint!! 100% recommended
