Very good place to stay. Tim answered all my questions very quickly, and it is very clean. It is located in a great area. The only problem is the street to get to the condominium. It is not in the best condition. Everything else is excellent.

Overall the place was clean, the area was decent, it was not easily accessible due to the proper manager locking the gate to let cars in and out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and our stay at Paradise Tamarindo Pura Vida. However, a few points need to be improved. There was practically no hot water for the shower and very little for the kitchen, contrary to the listing. The bathroom faucet had a very low flow, forcing us to use the kitchen sink. The shower wall didn't close completely, which allowed a lot of water to run onto the floor. In the kitchen, the advertised basic products (oil, salt, pepper) were missing, and the oven wasn't working. We notified Tim as soon as we arrived, but he only responded the day before our departure. There was also confusion regarding parking, which was promised to be inside the complex, without any solution being offered to us. Finally, the boogie board was broken and blankets were missing. Also, the wall-mounted air conditioning leaked twice = water on the floor. The place is beautiful, as are the pool and terrace.

The AC stopped working, there was no hot water, and the boogie board provided was broken when we arrived. We stay in Airbnbs & camp often, so we’re pretty easygoing, but this experience was a bit frustrating and didn't match reviews. Host offered to send someone for the AC the next afternoon, but was our last day and I didn’t want to wait around for maintenance, I mentioned I don’t speak Spanish, and no alternative help was offered, so we just put up with it. I asked twice about hot water and never got a response. I confirmed before booking that boogie boards and sand toys were included, but the board was broken and said they get one for us the next day, but didn't happen. Asked again and got one on last day after we had already left for the beach. Rented each day and cost $$. Scorpion in bedroom on our last day, its CR, wildlife expected, host said place scheduled to be sprayed next week. The place was clean and the pool was nice, hopefully these issues were just a one-time fluke.

We always want our guests to feel comfortable and well cared for, so we regret the frustration surrounding the A/C, hot water communication, and beach equipment. During your stay, we did work to coordinate maintenance and replace the boogie board as quickly as possible, though we understand the timing was not ideal and impacted your experience. As a family-owned Airbnb, we take great pride in our condo and guest experience. The home was fully renovated recently, professionally cleaned before arrival, and we routinely maintain the property and amenities. We were also happy to accommodate an early check-in to help make your arrival easier. Regarding the scorpion, while wildlife can occasionally appear in Costa Rica’s tropical environment, the property is on a regular pest-control schedule and we addressed the matter immediately. We appreciate you acknowledging the cleanliness and pool, and we’re sorry your stay fell short overall. Feedback like this helps us continue improving for future guests.

This apartment was exactly as described. It was perfect for me. It was nice to have so many conveniences (equipped kitchen and bathroom). The walk to town is much shorter than it may appear on the map--there is a pedestrian entry/exit from the property that's not far from Dragonfly restaurant and you're down at the center of town in probably 6 - 8 minutes by foot. I'd definitely stay there again.

We had an amazing time. Loved being right at a pool, chilling in the hammock and a short walk to the beach. Everyone is so friendly here. Great for adults and kiddos alike! Highly recommend

Excellent place to stay!!! Great pool right in front of the terrace. Beautiful surroundings and within a few minutes walk of the centre (using the rear gate). We found the place had no unwelcome noise, the place was lovely and quiet. Everyone was very friendly and the other owners who were there were very welcoming. We had a great time!!!

The condo worked great for myself and my two teens. The location was super convenient- less than 10 min walk to the beach. Really convenient walk to grocery store, Green Papaya, Little Lucha (taco Tuesday!), Dragonfly, the night market (Thursday) and the day market (Wed and Sat). The condo had good ac and fans, nice blackout shades, beach towels, chairs and some toys. You’ll need to bring your own soap, shampoo and conditioner though. I also recommend ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper- the walls are pretty thin. The complex is gated and felt extremely secure as did the neighborhood in general. Tim was an incredible host. He was proactive in providing all information and local suggestions. He checked in throughout the week too. Great stay!

Tim’s place was perfect for us! He let us in early and had everything we needed. Our daughter loved the pool and the hammock and the condo had beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys and boogie boards. It was super close to the restaurants and beach, yet so peaceful and quiet. Great location! Thanks again

Tim’s place is perfect to enjoy Tamarindo and surrounding areas! The balcony with hammock and chairs is nice for shade and right in front of the pool. The location is ideal to walk to the beach and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Location was perfect. A 5 minute walk to downtown Tamarindo. We loved the beach chairs and towels too. The apartment was clean and the A/C was great. The building was hard to find and not well marked. The lock to get into the apartment is not user-friendly. The woman in the apartment next to us (who has been there for 2+ months) said that everyone has had great difficulty getting inside.
