The place is truly amazing, quite comfortable for relaxing and having a great time with the family. Everything is relatively close, so it was a very nice visit to Sayulita.

Place was amazing and clean. The pool and garden area was beautiful, definitely the highlight. Location to town and the beach was awesome, everything was close and walkable! The only thing which was minor was that we had to rewash a lot of the glasses and dishes before using them. Overall an amazing stay for my friend’s bachelorette weekend.

This place is amazing and beautiful and everything you want in a location. It is a short walk into town. We felt very safe at this location. We cooked dinner and had everything we needed in the kitchen. They supplied us with plenty of clean drinking water, trash bags, and paper products. I would highly reccommend this house to anyone traveling to the area. We were there during a stay-in-place order and our flights got canceled. Bill was sooooo generous and kind and let us stay until we could get out of Mexico. Bill is a rockstar and a hero in y book.

Great stay in a great location. The grounds are beautiful and kept clean. The restaurant recommendations were all on point. Only downside is that depending on what’s going on in town, music reverberates through town and can be heard in the evenings through the house.

We loved our stay! Bill and his property manager were also super attentive to our needs when there (I am very sensitive to fragrance and they went a long way to help us get new towels etc when needed!) The top deck and Kitchen were amazing and overall in a great location!

Casa Gato de Mar was a wonderful place for a family vacation in Sayulita. Everything is walkable, the people are friendly. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time. We had a fabulous Christmas 2025.

The house was beautiful and spacious. It was equipped with everything we needed. The location was good, about a 10 minute walk to the beach with a small hill to get back to the house. We rented a golf cart and it was really nice for the location.

Amazing location, a six minute walk from the surf break, but just far enough away to avoid noise from downtown. The pool and palm trees are beautiful just like in the photos. I would happily stay here again.

Had the most amazing and beautiful stay at Casa Gato Del Mar!! We absolutely fell in love with the space and the neighborhood. We came down to celebrate my sister’s birthday, so wanted to stay somewhere that was walkable and felt safe for all of us girls, and this was exactly that. Bill was amazing and so were all of the staff. Everyone was so helpful so so beyond kind. We’ll be back!!! 💖

Truly one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had. Bill and our host on location Majo were super responsive and helpful. The layout of the house is gorgeous and the house itself is only a 3 min walk from the center of town. The gym was an awesome bonus as well. Our stay honestly ended up being one of our favorite parts of the trip. If you’re looking for a stay in Sayulita and happened to stumble upon this one, don’t think twice just book it.

Went for a bachelorette and the house was amazing felt really safe and private but just a short walk to town! there is a hill but that didn't bother us at all! There was plenty of space as well for all 8 of us!

This was really a magnificent experience. I very rarely, if at all write reviews, but Bill was an excellent host, proactive. The space was super safe, clean and really felt like a home away from home. Cannot recommend this enough!!

We loved our stay! Plenty of room for a Bach of 6. Location was perfect. I highly discourage you if you’re planning on wearing heels, as you have to go down a steep hill to get to town.

Wonderful place to stay in Sayulita, perfect location and beautiful house!

My group stayed here while we were visiting Sayulita for a wedding—we absolutely loved it! The place is nestled just up the hill from the main part of town, and everything is walkable. Palm trees and other tropical plants surround the home, which gives it a very secluded and jungle type of environment. We enjoyed lounging on the deck and taking a dip in the cold (yet refreshing) pool. We’d definitely consider booking Bill’s place in the future, should we find ourselves in Sayulita again.

I booked Casa Gato de Mar for a last-minute trip to Sayulita, and we had the best time!! The home, property, and management team are all amazing. (Shout-out to Marlene, the property manager!) The location was perfect for what we wanted… close enough to all the Sayulita fun, while also being just far enough away (up the hill) for a peaceful escape. We traveling home now, and I’m already thinking about my next trip back. Thanks for the incredible stay!!

Perfect house in the perfect location! We had the most incredible stay in Sayulita. The house is just steps away from the heart of town, yet felt completely private and secluded. Bedrooms were large, and the outdoor space is incredible. The owner gave us excellent recommendations for airport transportation, a chef, and a boat tour. The manager in Sayulita was also super helpful once we arrived. I cannot recommend this place more, we will definitely be back!

Stop searching and book this house!! I’m an obsessive trip planner and spent hours comparing places for our girls trip for 6 of us. I wish I had just saved time and booked this one. Gorgeous place, feels super private, feels safe, and we were so sad to leave! We spent time at each of the hangout spots and had a chef come in to cook us dinner on the last night. We all are fit and active and still agreed we LOVED having a golf cart. It made going up and down gringo hill no big deal and left us more time to just enjoy our time!

Wonderful stay at the beautiful Casa Gato de Mar, a private oasis just a short five minute walk up the hill from the center of town and a few minutes further to the beach. The house was well stocked with everything we needed to cook a few meals though we mostly ate out at the many great restaurants around. While the town is bustling with energy, it was nice to escape the noise and return to our quiet place each night. Overall an easy and comfortable stay and would definitely return!

Really an amazing oasis in a beautiful little Oceanside town. Getting around with a rented golf cart make this location perfect. A quick walk or ride from downtown but totally secluded and relaxing. If you’re drinking coffee on the porch in the morning you can hear the waves crashing in the distance. The property and amenities are fantastic and the support upon arrival were best in class. Amazing host.

We had a wonderful stay. We rented a golf cart to explore the area and hired an incredible chef, Daniel Murillo at Mexotik Cocina Creativa, who Summer-Jane recommended. He came to the house and cooked amazing dinners for us a few nights. Great girls trip!

Absolutely lovely stay! The property is a wonderful location & felt very safe. The walk to the beach is a bit of a trek so we rented a golf cart but the property well worth it! Look forward to staying here again!

Casa Gato de Mar was perfect for our group of 7. We opted to add the additional guestroom and en suite, but the rooms and common areas were pristine. The pool area and beautiful nature in the garden was well landscaped and taken care of during our stay. Each room had their own air conditioning and fan, so our stay was very comfortable, and the two gates with locking codes made us feel safe. The only thing I could think to note or give a heads up on is that shower water oscillated a little between hot and cold, but nothing that wasn't manageable. There was even a place to park and charge the golf cart we rented from a nearby shop to get around easier since the cobblestones streets of town and nearby the Airbnb were often steep. We loved our stay though, and Marlene and the gardener were such amazing hosts while we were in town!

A comfortable aura and a five-minute walk from the city center. There are more relatively soft insects. In addition, the villa is on half of the mountain, so there is an ascent, apart from these things, we really enjoyed the house, it was authentic and intimate, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need.

Great house, perfect for our family of 5 with two kids. Definitely rent a golf cart if it's in hot months and you have kids. Makes it easier to get up and down the hill. Great restaurants in town, loved the small town.

Had a great time staying at Casa De Gato in Sayulita. We had a group of guys for a surf trip and the house was perfect for us. Super spacious shared space, clean rooms, and excellent layout. The location was perfect too! Just a short walk to the main plaza and up the street from all the main bars and restaurants. Our host was super accommodating and response. We’ll definitely be back!

Summer(host) had exceptional response time,very helpful when I had any confusion or questions about my stay and very friendly! All the rooms were very clean,all linens&pillows smelled fresh. The restrooms were all cleaned they had plenty of towels for showering & for poolside fun. I have been to many airbnb properties,but this one stood out for cleanliness. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking,lots of complimentary ice and water.We ran out of towels&water at one point. I messaged Marlene(personal host assistant)and she was on it right away, bringing the water and towels on two separate occasions.Not to mention the overall layout and beautiful view of lush greenery everywhere you look. Alfredo(grounds keeper)was very personable and very helpful when solving problems. updated A/c system, fans and the lighting inside&out gives it a whimsical vibe,makes you feel like you are in a high end resort!

We LOVED staying here, the villa was gorgeous, the perfect tropical oasis with gorgeous decor and outdoor spaces! We loved how easy it was to walk to town, about 5 minutes down some steps and we were right in the center of town!

Our girls trip was made complete staying in this generously sized airbnb just walking distance to the town center. There were 5 of us total with two staying upstairs and the rest downstairs--plenty of room for us to gather and hang but also have privacy when needed. We unfortunately arrived during two days of rain so we were not able to utilize the outdoor space to its full advantage but it definitely is as described with space to lounge and swim. Summer-Jane and her casa manager were both very communicative going above and beyond with their recommendations, tips, and flexible check-in/out times. Everything in the airbnb was also functional and clean. The only note I'd have is if you are a sensitive sleeper, bring ear plugs as Sayulita during peak season is a small town full of tourists and late night fun (unless you are out enjoying the fiesta that is!).

Casa Gato de Mar is a very nice place to be, we loved the layout of the rooms and especially the terrace with its outdoor dining room. The location is excellent, just a short walk of 5 minutes or less from the center of town and it is on a very quiet, nice and well-lit street.

We booked Casa Gato de Mar for my Wedding weekend… it was the perfect airbnb! Picture perfect and so comfy! The neighborhood is so serene and just an 8 min walk to downtown Sayulita. The sofa beds were comfortable for us. Summer was so responsive & helpful. If I ever get married again I’ll book this airbnb lol

Gorgeous place. Everything we needed and wanted was there. The pool is beautiful, the house and grounds are even better than the pictures! The busy town area is easily walkable and fun to be a part of, and best of all, by the time you’re back at the house, the downtown noise is completely gone. We’ll come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this house in Sayulita. The property is clean and beautiful, and has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. The pool temperature was perfect, and the air conditioning worked very well which was important because it was very hot outside during our stay! The house felt safe and secure, and was even better than the pictures. Highly recommended staying here!

I have so many good things to say about Summer's beautiful Sayulita home! The house was exactly as described - if not better. We were a group of 4 girls who came into town for a surf trip, and the pool and outdoor shower were so lovely to come home to after a day of surfing. The entire house, from the kitchen to the bathrooms, was spotless, spacious, and well-stocked. The beds were extremely comfortable. Everything around the house was so visually appealing to look at and spend time around. The central part of town was only a few minutes' walk away down a cobblestone road and some stairs. I would absolutely recommend Summer's place, and I would definitely like to stay here again in the future.

Summer-Jane's place is an absolute gem! I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience. From the very beginning, communication with the host was a breeze and she was extremely responsive and accommodating to all our needs. The place itself was newly remodeled and modern with a stylish design that made us feel right at home. The pool area was absolutely fantastic - perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. But the real highlight for me was the fabulous outdoor grill, which was a great way to cook up some delicious meals and enjoy them al fresco. The location of the AirBnB was also fantastic, just a short walk away from all the best shops, restaurants and bars that Sayulita has to offer. Wonderful home in Sayulita! It is spacious and the surroundings are lush and beautiful. It is peaceful but within a few minutes, you are in the heart of town. Summer-Jane and Marlene were very responsive. I wish the pool was a little warmer but otherwise I highly recommend this place.

Really great place to stay while in Salyulita - our family of nine (6 adults and 3 children) had an outstanding time at Summer-Jane's place. A short walk down to town and the beach, very quiet and peaceful street. All necessary amenities and the pool can't be beat. It was so very great for everyone to have fun and cool down in the pool each afternoon, usually after spending time down at the beach. Would very highly recommend and look forward to staying here again! Eddie and Fran and family.

This was an excellent Airbnb. Easily walkable into downtown or the beach. Had all the amenities needed including beach towels and beach umbrellas. Property manager met us at the house on arrival to show us the lock system and answer any questions we had and was always available by phone for things that came up. Host was also always available. It was well maintained and very comfortable/relaxing. I would definitely stay here again!

Summer-Jane was responsive to any questions I had. Her host Marlene met us at checkin and walked us through the property. She was friendly and responsive to us. My only "complaint" is that the pool is not heated and was very cold. The location is beautiful and the home was immaculate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stop scrolling and book this place if it’s available! The property is amazing. The house could be featured in a magazine. Everything looks brand new, super clean and comfortable. The backyard oasis was amazing to unwind after a busy day at the beach. There was strong Wifi throughout. The house is a very short walk to the downtown area/beach (no golf cart needed). Checking in/out was seamless. High five to the owners for sharing their beautiful home with us.

This home was beyond our wildest dreams. It felt like we were in a magical tropical jungle surrounded by Palm Trees and other exotic plants. The big windows surround both bedrooms downstairs which really brings the jungle feeling in. Kitchen and 3rd bedroom with full bathroom is upstairs, all areas were very clean. In fact, the pool was cleaned daily and surrounding areas swept and cleaned too. Walking distance to the quaint village of Sayulita, with restaurants, shops, and nightlife. Just a 5 min walk on cobble stone streets so wear good walking shoes. Would love to stay at this property again!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Gato de Mar! The location is perfect (especially if renting a golf cart). The house is well equipped and absolutely gorgeous. Loved relaxing by the pool and eating outside. One small thing to note is there is no couch inside, but the house is truly meant for outdoor living so it's not a huge deal. Marlene, the house manager, is very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed! Would definitely stay here again in lovely Sayulita.

Casa Gato de Mar did not disappoint! Isaac met us at the house to let us in and show us around. The house was immaculate and exceeded expectations. I loved the quiet mornings drinking coffee in the outdoor patio, listening to the birds. At night, the AC and fans were great when it got a little hot. The location was perfect for our party, just a quick 5 min walk (up some stairs) from the main downtown area. Far enough away to have peace and quiet at night. Overall we loved our stay and would highly recommend.

It's an amazing place to stay. The place is just as the photos show. A cozy, clean and super well-located place, within walking distance of the central square and the beach. Summer-Jane's service is excellent, she was always available to answer questions at any time, and I also received support from two other people, one of them local, who also gave us recommendations for places to visit and activities. I would definitely stay again when I return to Sayulita.
