Our stay at Casa Mariposa was simply extraordinary. The house is beautiful, very comfortable, spacious and perfectly equipped to enjoy a few days of rest in Troncones. Each space is designed to make you feel at home, but with the charm of being in a paradise-like place. What really made the difference was the team's service. Jan was an exceptional host: he was always looking out for us, attentive to every detail, available at all times, and with a warmth that made us feel truly welcome. Their hospitality and commitment to making the experience perfect deserve special recognition. We also want to thank Samuel and Alex, who were always attentive to us with a friendly and helpful attitude. The food was delicious every day. Each dish was prepared with great quality and flavor, exceeding our expectations. Casa Mariposa is definitely a place we would gladly go back to.

Yann and the rest of the staff were amazing! They made us feel like home , they made us feel like family they were the best we all had an amazing time, everything about it was great, the food the drinks the rooms everything was amazing 100% recommend! Yann is not only the house Chef with amazing skills in the kitchen, she is the heart of the property! Yann, Samuel and the rest of the staff welcomed us and made us feel completely at home. The food and drinks they made for us were varied and everything was delicious. Yann was very helpful and responsive with suggestions on things to do and places to eat. The property is gorgeous and the sunsets were stellar. We highly recommend Casa Mariposa - lots of family memories were made in a beautiful setting with wonderful staff to make it all very relaxing!

Don't hesitate, just book this villa now before you loose your dates! The villa and accompanying bungalow is absolutely stunning and surpasses all pictures on the internet. At the risk of sounding pretentious, my husband and I have stayed at many high-end resorts through business award trips, but Villa La Mariposa was by far the most beautiful accommodation we have ever stayed at. Everyone of the 7 bedrooms is a winner with gorgeous views and outdoor seating. The villa is so well maintained and everything looks new. The grounds are gorgeous and it sits on the beach but is still very private. The pool is stunning and so refreshing. Green grass and flowers lay between the main house and pool area. The palapa area by the pool & beach was also great! Yann is the chef and captain of the staff and our family fell in love with her! She is so caring as are her staff. The food was amazing and the staff is very efficient. I highly recommended staying here. It surpassed our expectations.

Perfect place for a family getaway. The house is spacious and beautiful, with very comfortable beds. The combination of a long sandy beach with volcanic rock outcrops was stunning. The ocean waves were too big for little kids, but they had endless hours of fun in the pool. The house lived up to its name with as the expansive garden had loads of butterlflies, as well as iguanas and even some armadillos. The best part of the visit was the staff. Yann, Samuel, and crew were exceptionally helpful and attentive, and the food was excellent.

We had a wonderful time at this home - the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the lawn and gardens are gorgeous, the paddle court and swimming pool meant the kids were all entertained, but best of all were the staff who took incredible care of us - can't say enough amazing things about them. Wonderful stay and can't wait to go back.

The casa and property is amazing !!! pictures do not do it justice. Right on the beach just outside of Troncones, Perfect for a relaxing location. Less than 10 minute drive into the town, where they are a handful of restaurants to choose from. I would suggest renting cars if you have a large group since the taxis can only take 3 people per taxi. It could be a challenge if you want to go to Zihua since it is 40 minutes away. The beach in front of the house has strong current and waves for little ones, but teenagers will be fine out in the surf. They have multiple boards to use. The staff is very nice and cooked some great meals. My favorite was the Huevos Rancheros and Chilaquiles for breakfast. So good !!! They made pancakes and french toast as well for the kids and burritos and quesadillas for lunch. For dinner, they will make what you want if you let them know ahead of your stay. No one at the house really speaks English which made for interesting conversations.

The true gems of Casa Mariposa are undoubtedly Yann, Ascencio, Luis, and Maria. They didn't just serve us; they adopted us. They felt like family. Yann deserves special recognition for transforming our stay from a simple vacation to an extraordinary experience. She handled all grocery shopping, creating three fresh, local-ingredient meals daily. The house itself is absolutely spectacular. Situated on a perfect stretch of beach, the spacious layout easily accommodated our large group, giving everyone room to spread out or come together as desired. We loved the open-air showers and falling asleep to the sound of the waves. What makes this place special is how effortless everything feels. Need snorkeling gear? Yann has it ready. Desire a massage? A therapist arrives at the perfect time.Having visited Troncones more than a dozen times, I can confidently say Mariposa represents the absolute pinnacle of what the area has to offer. We've already committed to booking for next year

We greatly enjoyed our stay. We had more more support from the staff than we were initially expecting. It is a beautiful and comfortable villa!

Casa Mariposa is a gem in the heart of Troncones, with its unique style where minimalism and refined details meet nature. Rooms have all comforts and an incredible sea-view! The sunset from the infinity edge pool is speechless and having lunch with your feet on the sand is a pure experience. The house has everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. A private access to the beach gives you the opportunity to enjoy a full day in the sand in a safe place with your family. If you are into outdoor activities this is the place where you can surf, run, swim, fish or you can simply enjoy your private Padel field! The staff is super kind and welcoming, they threaded us like family. Abel gave us plenty of tips about places to visit or food to try, whilst Yanin (the chef) delighted us with authentic mexican food and drinks, a special mention is for the "Birria de res" the best we ever had. Plus: surfers can check the waves of Troncones Point from your bedroom! I’ll come back for sure!

Casa Mariposa is a dream come true. It’s a beautiful property in an ideal location where you can enjoy with friends and family spacious common areas and gardens as much as private and intimate terraces and rooms. Every room is elegantly decorated. Simple and chic. The staff is amazing, friendly and willing to deliver a great experience. The cook Yanin prepares amazing local and mexican plates that go from the very traditional to the more sophisticated. The location is ideal. You can organize as many adventures out to beautiful and authentic places and villages.. or you can just decide to spend the day chilling and relaxing in the beautiful grounds and gardens of this house. They have an amazing common room/bungalow, where you can have privacy for working if that’s the case. You can play paddle tennis, you can surf, you can experience amazing sunsets and nature without having to go anywhere. A+! stunning,pristine, comfortable,private and natural grounds of beauty and nature. Friendly staff, very clean and hospitable. Spacious and grand. We were with 2 families including young children and we felt so safe and cared for. The chef -Janet - cooked amazing meals - all from scratch - you could tell she cooked with love including traditional Mexican food as well as pastas , fresh juices , and any seafood you can imagine.Janet was open to cooking most anything we wanted. Abel was so accommodating and ready to help at a moments notice with whatever we needed. The location of this home really can’t get much better on this sweet little bay. Great surf just left of the house , easy for the kids to swim and boogie board too! Fantastic pool w/ outdoor dining area.Highly recommend renting a car to get about town and using their chef services as there are no traditional grocery stores less than 30 min away. However, there are fantastic restaurants in walking distance for any meal.

Our stay was amazing. The beaches were beautiful and the staff were the best you could find. They took such great care of us, we were so sad to leave and look forward to returning soon. Thank you Abel, Dana and Claudia!

This is a gem of a house settled in a tranquil bay that is good for walking and swimming. The highlight of this place were the caretakers - Abel, Claudia and Donna. Such a wonderful family to enjoy our time with who took care of our every need. The beautiful setting and pristine grounds made out family gathering a very relaxing experience for everyone to enjoy.

The stay at Casa Mariposa was wonderful. The house is even prettier than in the photos, the rooms are very large and comfortable and have everything you need for an excellent stay. In addition, the house is served by very friendly staff and trained to make the perfect stay!

Casa La Mariposa is a beautiful, impeccably maintained and perfectly located home with the best service we've experienced anywhere! Abel, Claudia & Dana made our visit a true vacation from grocery shopping even prior to our arrival to cater our selected meal plan for the week. This family service team extraordinaire punctually prepared our daily meals with excellence and a wonderful attitude. I hope the owners of this home know how lucky they are to have such a fabulous family caring for their guests. I must admit that I am not easy to impress or please, but they went above and beyond our expectations and work very hard. While the property has everything one could need, their wonderful service really made our vacation. THANK YOU!

The house is much larger and more beautiful than what you see in the photos. The facilities are extraordinary and the service is unbeatable. It is definitely the best option in the whole area. It has the best location, the best view and the greatest comfort. The care of every detail is amazing The kindness of the people who take care of it is very good and the host is always attentive to everything.
