Bernardo’s place was truly wonderful! We really enjoyed our stroll to Greek coffee, and the neighborhood was charming and warm. The house itself was absolutely stunning and so peaceful, making our visit even more special.

I think the red house was the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. The photos don't do it justice. We all fell in love with the house. It's a 10-minute walk to the center and the market. There are small shops nearby, and the area is very safe. I was surprised how well equipped it is. The beds are very comfortable. In short, a great option for staying. We definitely hope to return.

We loved the stay at the house. The staff was friendly. The location is not bad. The details in the house create a warm atmosphere. It is worth mentioning that the pool does not have a heater. It would be a very good plus if it had one. Our companions were older adults and they had difficulty getting out of the pool. A step or a ladder would help a lot. As for everything else, excellent service from the host. I would definitely come back.

I traveled with my family and this house was the perfect complement to our getaway to San Miguel de Allende. We left the car in the garage and walked everywhere thanks to its excellent location, just 10 minutes from downtown. Great place to stay!

José Bernardo and Daya's house is beautiful and in pristine condition. They are great hosts and incredibly friendly. The house is very well equipped, the beds are wonderful with lots of pillows, and the bed feels spectacular. The location of the house is unbeatable, as it is right in the center, which allows you to walk to all of San Miguel's most iconic tourist attractions, and at the same time, since it is on a semi-closed street, there aren't many people passing by, which allows you to relax 100%! The atmosphere in the house is very pleasant, the rooms are very spacious, and the cleanliness is perfect! Definitely a gem in San Miguel de Allende! We loved La Casa Roja in San Miguel. The decor is beautiful, and the furniture is very cozy. The kitchen is spacious and perfectly equipped, which we really enjoyed, as we like to cook and found everything we needed. Bernardo was an extremely friendly and attentive host, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely come back as soon as we have the chance.

Great location, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, lots of room and places to be, but pool was disappointing cause it was only warm a few days and not easy to get in and out. Appreciated Bernardo's recommendations for restaurants and more as his family has been here for a long time.

Don’t hesitate to book this 2 story museum-like Home. Jose and Daya were incredible hosts. They gave us lots of recommendations and met us upon our arrival, which I always appreciate in an Airbnb. We try to do the same when we rent ours. Very comfortable beds, furniture, and beautiful wood touches everywhere created by Jose himself. The views from the upper floors and the extra touches in decorating were far above our expectations.

We loved our stay at Bernardo's place in San Miguel. It is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The way the inside and outside spaces merge is lovely and there's beauty everywhere you look. We had a wonderful stay at Jose's place. It is a beautiful home tucked back into a little gated neighborhood. The house is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen has all the essentials. It is a little ways from the central plaza of the city, but a lovely walk to get there, and it is very near the Mercado de Artesanias. Jose was an extremely welcoming host who shared all the info for the house and recommendations for the town. We would 100% stay again.

The house is gorgeous. It is also large and expansive which lent itself well to lots of private space for each of our 3 couples. The fresh flowers in several rooms were an extra nice touch!

Wow, the Casa Roja is an absolutely beautiful home. It is tucked away in a gated private area containing several lovely homes. The house has many indoor and outdoor spaces that are full of plants and statuary and art and handmade furniture and comfortable places to sit. Everywhere you look there is something beautiful. The kitchen is fully furnished and easy to cook in, and the Mercado Ignacio Ramirez is a few minutes walk away. The beds are very comfortable. The house has filtered water throughout. It is a lovely five-minute walk to La Fabrica Aurora, which has some nice cafes in addition to all the artist studios. Bernardo was helpful and communicative. We loved our stay at Bernardo's place, and would love to go back!!!!

Jose was super responsive and friendly. Allowed us flexible check-in and check-out on both ends. The airbnb was in a great location and super artsy and beautiful. It was a 15min walk to the main city square near the Cathedral. Great 10/10 stay

Bernardo’s house is amazing, the pictures really don’t do it justice. Every room and hallway is beautifully designed and decorated you feel like you are in a museum with all the art. The location is perfect - private and peaceful but also a short walk to the action in the main square. Bernardo is an excellent host and communicator. Book this place!!!

My family stayed here while in town for a wedding—3 couples total each with our own private bedroom and bathroom. The home is beautiful, tucked away behind 2 gates off a quiet road near the Live Aqua hotel but still a 10-20 minute walk from everything. As a head’s up to other guests, there is no air conditioning, so we kept windows open as much as we could. With that meant some mosquitos, but nothing crazy and Bernardo provides special plugs in the walls to keep them at bay, as well as fans in the rooms when you do close the windows. We would definitely recommend Bernardo’s home to any family or small group visit to SMA!

The Red House is beautiful, it has all the details to spend a few days on vacation or rest in San Miguel. The kitchen is very well equipped, excellent bathrooms, hot water, super spacious and comfortable bedrooms and social areas to enjoy time in company. The host is super friendly and responds right away.

This was our first stay at an Airbnb and we absolutely loved it. This place is a dream, will definitely come back again in the future.

The house was exceptionally beautiful, spacious and large , with every amenity..., including filtered water in the fridge... the location by the river was peaceful and good for walks, it was helpful to have 3 restaurants across the street..., it was walkable distance to the main plaza of the town..., the hosts were warm, friendly, responsive, we felt very safe...

We had an amazing time at Bernardo’s place. The house looks better in person than in the pictures. The location is super convenient to visit the city. Finally, the hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Our party of 6 was overjoyed and delighted to have found such a gem in our AirBnb. We highly recommend it! Their house was amazing, cozy, and felt like home. We were ecstatic that each bedroom had its bathroom and walk-in closet, plus a half bath downstairs which is extremely hard to find in AirBnb’s. Our beds were super comfortable and the linens were great. It was indeed heaven-sent! From the start, our hosts were so friendly, helpful, and informative which is why our airport transfers, excursions, and local trips were stress-free. So, what are you waiting for? Book this place or you’ll regret it!!!!

The house art made me feel like a was staying in a museum, amazing feeling. Very good layout, very spacious, lots of doors to bring the outdoors in, and quite a few spaces to relax, read a book and enjoy coffee, outdoor and indoor. It is very quiet even with the loud early fireworks...20 minute walk to main plaza...close but at the same time away from all the activity. Only issue (like a lot of other places in San Miguel ) is the lack of air conditioning, if weather is mild this place is great. I will stay there in my future travels.

We rested a lot and enjoyed every corner of the house. In addition to the house being amazing, the location is ideal, you can walk to the center without any problems. This was the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in (and we’ve stayed in a few!) Gorgeous, large, well-equipped and a pool! And incredibly kind and responsive hosts with excellent recommendations. Great place, close to everything yet far enough to feel some solitude. The place was larger than we expected and was full of original art. Not your typical home rental. Bernardo was very helpful and his ways harkened back to the good old days of Airbnb when you truly felt like you were being taken care of by owners and not managers!

We spent a wonderful month at Bernardo's home in San Miguel de Allende. From start to finish, Bernardo was incredibly friendly, helpful and hospitable and went above and beyond -- at one point even assisting us during a medical emergency. The home itself is beautiful and spacious, and ideally laid out for three couples and/or a group of friends. The ground floor bedroom is huge with a large king size bed with a door out to the pool. The two second floor bedrooms are both comfortable, one with a king size bed and a lovely outdoor patio; the other with two queen size beds. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to make many of our meals at home. The location for us was ideal, a quick walk to the Fabrica Aurora and a 10 minute walk to the city center. We enjoyed a membership at the nearby Live Aqua health club for the month, which was pricey, but ultimately worth it as we spent most afternoons by the pool and using the health club facilities. I highly recommend this home.

The house is exceptional very spacious,well laid out ,beautiful plants and art everywhere. When my son did not feel well Bernado very generously offered to arrange for a doctor and even to take him there. Definitely would return

This place is a 10/10. It absolutely stunning, the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s so clear that every aspect of the home was intentional, everything from toothbrush holders, to dark towels for makeup removal. It’s incredibly clean & offered countless backdrops for photos. The hosts, Daya & Jose, are also a 10/10. They were so communicative, offered great recommendations, assisted us in lining up airport transportation & Jose even drove us to the grocery store (which was also amazing) & taught us about the history of San Miguel. This place is truly a gem in an already beautiful city.

Had a great time in San Miguel at this house! The location was amazing, you can walk everywhere and there are tons of cute restaurants, shops, and the covered market close by. Daya and Bernardo were great hosts and super communicative. The house was incredible and extremely peaceful - a true gem! We had a great time and look forward to coming back again!

Beautiful home, it was perfect to welcome my family that was coming from a different country. (Virgin Islands) It was my wedding weekend and everyone was impressed how beautiful homes in Mexico are made. They loved it and the stayed was great! Thank you Daya for all the recommendations she gives us and for help us accomplish our goals.

My husband and I actually live in San Miguel but had friends coming into town, so we wanted a place that would be bigger and more central for all of us to stay together. It was amazing. My friend visiting from the States said, "I feel like I'm in a movie." The house was truly magnificent... and huge. Airy. Bright. Spotless and with incredible art, mirrors, lap pool and lush plants. Fruit trees, three courtyards, a huge dining area, comfy lounge and massive beds. Everything smelled delicious, like citrus or lavender. Across the street, like, literally a one minute walk, was an amazing steak house restaurant. Five more minutes walk and right in the middle of the best part of town. I slept better than I have in ages. I really cannot think of anything that wasn't perfect. I'm going to suggest it to my all my friends who come to visit and make it my "date night stay-cation special occasion" go to. Romantic, glamorous, comfy. All the stars!

Daya and Bernardo are excellent hosts, super attentive, they give very good recommendations and are very detailed, you can see that they put love their place, which is beautiful, in addition, you can enjoy the pool and feel very comfortable at home, as everything is clean and tidy, it has a perfect location to go downtown or La Fábrica, walking. It's excellent for clearing your mind and relaxing!

But what really made the difference was the hosts - they behaved incredibly well, always attentive, and available for anything we needed. This experience exceeded our expectations.
