Housy Host

Seventh time staying here and it still hits every single time. You already know the location is perfect, right in the middle of the party, with everything just a short walk away. The house is big, clean, and built for a good time. That jacuzzi is basically the MVP again, perfect for the after-hours unwind or just soaking with your crew before heading out. Joel continues to be the low-key legend of the place. Always around when you need him but never in your way. He makes everything smooth without making it a thing. The housekeeper also keeps the spot fresh daily, which somehow makes everything feel even more comfortable. This place is the Medellín default now. If you're not staying here, you're doing it wrong.

Very cool house with pool and security guard and maid for the household to keep it clean and nice. Can very much recommend it to people exploring El poblado! Just don’t expect it to be quiet because you are in the epi center of Party district. Everything feet walkable and we loved it!

Great place to stay near Provenza. close to everything but it can be loud due to music. we didn't mind it but something to be mindful about. The house was amazing and clean. The house staff were great and very helpful. w We enjoyed having them around. House was great, I would highly recommend this house and would stay here again over and over again.

This place was great for a group travelling! We were welcomed by host at the airport and he drove directly us to the Airbnb. When we arrived, it was a super cool indoor/outdoor vibe. TV in every room, great sound system in the common area, the beds were comfortable, water got hot/cold quickly and lasted, drinkable water from the fridge. Host stays in basement of Airbnb to be security, doorman, handyman, and anything else you would need! He is very responsive, kind, and helpful! Would have no worries living here! Only minor issues (which are a given being in Colombia) were: 1- city water failure for a little over a day, and host was responsive/ helpful with our needs and communicated updates well. 2- backup pressure in the pipes, and any time we communicated it, the host cleaned/helped immediately and was apologetic. 3- wifi went in/out on occasion, and host was very accommodating and fixed it instantly. Amazing people are running this Airbnb! My friends and I will be returning!

Back again for the fifth time and it just never misses. The house is right in the middle of all the action, so you can walk to everything without even thinking. You are literally right next to Clubs, bars, late-night food, it’s all right there. They also just opened a new OXXO convenience store 25 feet away so you can get anything you need 24 hours/day. There’s a Hooters to your left as you step out the front door. The jacuzzi is massive and perfect after a night out or just kicking it during the day. The hangout space is wide open and laid out in a way that makes group trips easy and fun. Everyone has room to do their thing without stepping on each other. Joel is the man. He always pops up when you need something, solves it like it’s nothing, and somehow keeps everything smooth without ever being in your face. You can tell he really cares. The housekeeper keeps the place looking fresh every day. This spot has officially become the Medellin tradition. Would not stay anywhere else.

Very close to everything. The cleaning was done daily every morning. The concierge was very attentive with any questions of the area and was always there to help. Restaurants and grocery stores close by.

The location is excellent a few steps from Parque Lleras and a few steps from Provence, it is definitely not a rest house since there is loud music from the nearby bars, it is a house for party and friends, Joel's incredible attention very safe, takes care of your belongings, the lady of very attentive cleaning left everything spotless

This home is absolutely beautiful and located in a fantastic area. Everything you could possibly need—restaurants, bars, and clubs—is just a short walk away. The convenience and vibrant surroundings make it a perfect place to stay. I highly recommend it!

Amazing house, amazing location, definitely staying again

Everything was good. Conceirge was great, location was great. Only downside to this location is that it is in a party/entertainment district so loud music at night until 5am. But if you want to be close to the action then this is the perfect spot.

I had a wonderful stay for my birthday with my group of 7 people. The house is beautiful and located walking distance from everything, the location is perfect! José was a great host and had amazing recommendations for food and things to do. The Housy team was excellent in helping to plan tours and activities such as paragliding and made the process very easy for our group. I highly recommended this house and I will be making this my go to location when staying in Medellin.

This Air BnB is by far the best one I ever stayed in. The Host is amazing and for that alone, I will be back! The House was very clean, safe and secure! Working Jacuzzi/ pool downstairs and a Patio with Balcony upstairs. Walking distance for food, clubs and stores to shop. House keeping came by every morning to tidy up the house. I had a wonderful trip for my birthday and I would like to Thank Housy Host for it all!

Location is prime if you are looking to go out and enjoy the nightlife. There’s always a lot going and the music doesn’t stop until 4 am. With that being said, it was a fantastic time and the host, Juan, showed was a great guide of the city as well.

The in house host Jose was OUTSTANDING, he was very mannerable and informative. He made sure all of our reasonable requests were accomadated promptly.

My stay was absolutely the best experience.. Perfect for any guys trip. Location is everything. My pros and Cons Pros: the location is great for walking distance of the majority of things you will. They offer transportation from and to the airport and to other areas if needed if scheduled. For additional cost we had a chef provide breakfast every morning. The jacuzzi stays warms. Near by gym available. Several close clubs and restaurants. Felt safe at all times Cons: too close to clubs, the Music literally goes to 4am 7 days a week. So pick your room wisely, the one you want is typically not the one you want lol. The best room has no windows. So if going with a group this is key. No extra towels for the jacuzzi pool. Overall this place for myself was great as I shared with just one other person.

The Villa was amazing. It was in a central location lots of bars, restaurants and things to do. My only complaint would be the house had doors that were broken. The locks didn’t work. It is easy for anyone to come into the bedrooms that we used.

I had a wonderful experience at Casa de Manera. The host was exceptional, and the property itself is beautifully maintained and well-equipped, featuring amenities such as a BBQ grill and a pool. Its central location is perfect, situated amidst a vibrant array of bars and clubs. I highly recommend Casa de Manera for a fantastic stay.

The place is very cozy and beautiful, located walking bars, restaurants and fun areas, Joel's attention was spectacular.

Location was everything. When we first arrived, the host let us check in even early, which was a plus. We were able to walk to various restaurants/clubs in the area. The area was safe for everyone to travel freely on their own. Inside the Airbnb, the spot was clean and it was as described. I look forward to returning to this Airbnb in the future.

The place is a great Bachelor pad, 2 min walk from park lleras and so many restaurants. The jacuzzi is huge and very hot. The host was very accommodating with all our needs. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great place to stay if you plan on going out a lot. It’s literally in the middle of it all, and everything is within walking distance of this house. The downside to this is that it’s almost impossible to sleep before 4am because of the noise. If you are ok with that then this spot is perfect. The house host and the maid make a great team. Joel took care of us and made us feel safe the entire time. He gave us great tips and was available for us pretty much 24/7. The maid was awesome, always respecting our space and working around us while keeping everything nice and tidy around the house. She even went above her normal role when we came back with muddy clothes by helping us with the washing/drying machines. Both provided great service and will be as little or as much involved as you want them to be. Overall great stay!

The place is a gem in the heart of the Provenza. More so than the place, we had Joel who treated us as if we were family and showed us tremendous love and accommodated each and every request with efficiency, a sense of urgency, and communication. The housekeeper is a darling of a woman and she got us coffee every morning. The entire experience was unforgettable. The level of service beats that of the Four Seasons. I’d come stay again just for Joel and I believe her name was Mariana.

I had an incredible stay in Medellin over the 4th of July weekend! The location of this Airbnb is perfect - everything you need is within walking distance. There are plenty of bars, shops, and restaurants nearby, making it easy to explore the vibrant neighborhood. The cleaning staff did a fantastic job, ensuring the place was spotless and comfortable. A special shoutout to our housemate, Joel, who was incredibly helpful and made us feel right at home. Our host was extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Our AirB&B was beautiful and spacious. It was also located in a prime spot enabling us to walk to many restaurants and shops. The staff is also great. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy Medellín.

Fantastic house for a large group, ideally located in the old town of Cartagena. The bathrooms are a little bit dated, but the flip side is a stunning house with lots of charm and character. Staff was nice and helpful.

If you are looking for a nightlife and don’t want to Uber everywhere, this is as good as it gets. Very safe location. I 100% would stay here again next time I visit. Only downsides is only 3 rooms have AC at the moment. I didn’t use more than the 3 rooms so it worked out for me.

Roger and the whole Casa Ámbar team was excellent! The host got in touch well in advance of our visit and help us coordinate breakfast at the house as well as massages. The security at the door was incredibly helpful with any on site needs we had. There were 16 of us and there was plenty of room spread about the house so each person had their own zone / place to chill. Would come again!

I have never stayed at a more beautiful location with a more responsive host or such amenities. I booked this for my best friend's bachelorette party and it was beyond anything I could have imagined or expected. We were 15 in total, but the house could have comfortably fit so many more. We ended up with folks who had their own rooms to themselves and one room to spare with plenty of beds. The host connected us with a company to help us do a welcome dinner for the group, they also helped us get taxis and provided local recommendations when requested. I started communicating with the host around 4 months before our trip and they always responded immediately and guided me in the right direction. The breakfasts provided were amazing and they made it very easy to pay for the add on ahead of time and to request typical Colombian meals so we could get a typical experience. The house always had security so we felt safe. The pool was amazing. I have nothing to complain about, just amazing.

Let me start by saying that the host was amazing. Help me planned my birthday trip , without me having to lift a finger. Recommend places to eat and different tours that would interest me. The gentleman that stayed in the house with us was very helpful. He kept to himself and I even forgot that he was even there. Felt very safe with him around. The housekeeper made sure everything was clean and organized. The JACUZZI was nice and hot. It gets really loud at night till about 4am so if your planning on sleeping the whole time this Airbnb is not for you. The clubs surrounds the house and is perfect for a night out. We went to different clubs every-night. There were little things that needs to be fix like the outside door handle was broken, the bedroom door that leads to the Jacuzzi was locked unlike the picture. The stairs that lead to the jacuzzi was broken, had to walk around it. Other than that, would definitely stay there again. I definitely recommend.

This is a great place, especially for a large group or bachelor party. The pool was the highlight, all rooms were clean and comfortable. The description of the Airbnb and the other reviews are pretty accurate, especially that the warning that the music doesn’t stop outside until 4am :).

Joel and melina are the best host ever. Joel made sure we were taken care of at all times and never was a bother. Melina she made sure the house was always clean and even cooked us breakfast every morning. Location was perfect right in the middle of everything!!!! If you want to enjoy a weekend with friends this is the place the go.

Came in for a bachelor party for my brother and 10 of his friends. The house was perfect for us and everything we had booked e.g. clubs, restaurants, bars, were all walking distance. There was even a liquor store and grocery store a minute away. The house had a guard at all times and we never found ourselves waiting outside for more than a minute at night. Owners were also very responsive when I inquired on having some cut fruit after a boat party we went to and had it prepped and ready for us. Would recommend heavily!!

Nice location

I need to start this by saying this house is built for a party, don’t plan on going to sleep till 4am when the party stops outside. That being said my group had a fantastic stay. The house was older but well kept and clean. The Jacuzzi was large and hot, was by far the best part of this house. There is a daily cleaning woman that is excellent as well. Joell, the 24 hour Butler/security. I cannot stress this enough to visitors that on site security is life saving to have. Joell also gets up every morning at 5:30 and cleans the entire house so when you wake up you emerge into a clean environment with a pot of hot coffee waiting. Nice touch. One piece of advice, there is a large fully stocked clear glass refrigerator with an assortment of liquor and beverages, make sure it’s locked and covered up before your dates come in or it can get very expensive. I booked this place for a bachelor party along with five other friends. This house certainly lived up to all of our expectations. From check in to check out, the Housy Host staff was attentive to all of our needs. It you’re coming to Medellin to have a good time, this house is literally in the heart of it all and in walking distance to great restaurants and clubs. The area does get noisy, but who comes to Medellin to sleep! Gustavo was very helpful in helping to schedule airport pick ups for the group, and Joel was a great host. I was a little nervous about how it would be with the host living at the house, but Joel stayed to himself and was always there when we needed him. Honorable mention goes to the house keeper. She was there every day cleaning the main areas and even washed our clothes (and sneakers) after a muddy day of ATV’n. We were all grateful for that! I would highly recommend this proper if you are ever in Medellin and would use Housy Host in other cities as well!

Location was amazing the security was awesome and got us anything we required when ever we asked. The cleaning lady was amazing, everyday the rooms were cleaned without us even noticing her and she was very kind to do laundry and even fold the clothes. This location is in the heart of all the action that is El Poblado. Walkable to all the hot spots which is perfect if you're looking to have some fun party night outs and want to just easily get home or take a break before going back out. Given that it is the party district, do note that it will be loud until clubs and bars close which is around 4am. Better to just join the fun while you're staying here! The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful, especially when it came to helping plan and coordinate transportation and activities. Made my group and I's experience a lot smoother. They were also flexible with letting us check in and check out which very helpful. Overall, we as a group had a great time at the Airbnb and are grateful for how attentive the hosts were.

Great house and host! In the middle of the party district so don't go there looking to relax. You can hear and see the hustle from the front steps. Great for bachelor parties or groups that want to party. Felt very safe and easy to walk everywhere. Host was always there and staff was courteous. Highly recommended.

Casa Ambar was perfect for our group of 15! Plenty of space, responsive staff, and a great location. The pool area was beautiful and clean - a great place to cool off from the Cartagena heat. The host was fast to respond when we had questions, and the house staff was always helpful and friendly. Air conditioning in the bedrooms worked well to keep those rooms cool, but we were disappointed to learn that AC in the dining room was an additional charge. The dining room table also only held about 10 people, less than the house capacity, which meant that some guests had to eat in the lounge areas of the dining room instead. Nonetheless we had a great stay and would highly recommend!
