The stay at this seaside home is simply excellent! Juan José, the host, is very friendly and always attentive. The house is beautiful and very close to everything, very well-organized and clean, it's a spacious place, and it feels like home. We had a wonderful time and would certainly stay there again. Totally recommended! 5/5

We had a wonderful stay. Thank you, Juan! The house is perfect for groups big or small. Lots of space. Clean and comfortable. The roof deck is idea for sunsets and morning coffee. I highly recommend that a stay here.

We very much enjoyed our weekend at Juan Jose's beach house! It's in a great location in Popoyo and there are a few good restaurants and bars within close walking distance. There are plenty of other locals and surfers walking around as well. The house is right across the road from the beach so access is easy. At the beach walk north and there are some fantastic surfing/bodyboarding locations. We also rode horses at sunset along the beach for about an hour and a half. In the evenings we enjoyed hanging out on the roof deck. Overall, the house was perfect for us.

Great location at Santana Beach. Walking distance to many restaurants, beach and market. Huge and AC in bedrooms was awesome. Highly recommend

Juan José is an excellent host. His property is perfect for family stays, with all areas of the house thoughtfully designed. The home offers ample space for family activities indoors, and the beach is just a few meters away, featuring easy and secure access. Communication with Juan José and Félix was consistently smooth. Juan Jose had a perfect beach house, beautifully decorated and a prime location! My husband and 2 teenage boys loved the place! There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We had to alter the reservation dates due to a family emergency and Juan was so gracious to allow us to do so. He was kind and accommodating. This is a great house, host, & destination you will not be disappointed!

We had so much fun at Juan’s home. It’s perfectly located by the beach and near multiple surf breaks. The kitchen had everything needed to eat in and cook, and the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Juan was very responsive to questions or needs and respected our privacy. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the Popoyo/Santana area

The house is very modern with a fully equipped kitchen. The shade structure was perfect for relaxing outside. Overall a great stay. The furniture is a bit tall

Juan and local host were so helpful. Sometimes trips have unpredictable weather and challenges, and the hosts are so comfortable and helpful working through to the best solutions under the circumstances. The local area is magical, wonderful for surf and beach exploring, not too busy but not remote and isolated. Great restaurants and local amenities, great options for yoga and activities. Perfect for friends get away or family. The house is so comfortable, nice to have great common spaces, karaoke and games, outdoor space to read and hang out, fantastic location….a little castle oasis. Hard to write this review because i hope to book it again soon….and hope it’s not already booked up!!

We stayed for four weeks at Juan’s home on Playa Santana and had a wonderful time. Both Juan and the caretaker were very responsible and helpful. There are many dining options within a 5-10 minute walk, and there are three surf spots between 10-20 minute walk. The home would lose power a few times a day for a minute or two, and the internet wasn’t perfect, but this can be expected in this area. Overall, highly recommend the house. It is as advertised.

We stayed for a little over a month at Popoyo Beach House with friends and family who came and stayed with us at various points. Juan was very helpful with answering my questions leading up to the trip, and we were greeted by Felix and Kenia when we arrived. Both Felix and Kenia were unbelievably kind to us. Whenever something happened with the house, Juan and Felix were very responsive. We felt very well taken care of. The house itself is lovely. The kitchen had all we needed and more, including an Instapot and blender.The four bedrooms of the house allowed for everyone to have privacy if they wanted, and the rooms were far more soundproofed than I thought. Even with several kids in the house, it was possible to have quiet space. The beach was right in front of the house, and we enjoyed the shade from the deck on hit days. Perfect location for us and close to markets! Wonderful place to stay - highly recommend for big family trips. Thank you so much Juan, Felix, and Kenia.

Always replied very fast when we had questions. Felix received very kindly and was very helpful. We really like the place and the house was very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped if you would like to stay home and cook. Thanks for everything
