We had a wonderful vacation at Blue Moon. The house was so comfortable and accommodating, and the location was an absolute dream. Snorkeling and scuba diving right off the dock can't be beat! The pool was warm and shaded most of the morning and afternoon. There were even a couple of our favorite board games and lots of movies to choose from. Very well equipped kitchen. High quality black out curtains in the bedrooms. We loved the quiet and distance from town, and enjoyed the beach walk to Neptunes when we wanted to catch a boat in for lunch. Really the best vacation spot we've ever stayed at!

This place is a diamond in the ruff! We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. From the house, to the property, to the views…. It was all perfect! We had everything we needed and if we didn’t Aaron took us to get it. He is definitely an added bonus to our stay. He was so nice and helpful. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Great snorkel spot

We had the most fabulous stay. At first we were disappointed in the lack of water taxi's, but made sure we had enough groceries for the week and it all worked out great. Aaron was really helpful. We would love to come back.

We can not say enough about Blue Moon. Arron and Ian are the property managers and that is a under statement. They the amazing! Brandy was quick to respond and had an Island Gem. we are so very Grateful to he a b le to bring our family to Blue Moon and get open water scuba certified with Utila Dive center! Thank you so very much to the Utila community, Brandy, Arronn and Ian!!

This place was nice and Aaron was AMAZING! He’s great … the pool wasn’t up to par and the mosquitos are ridiculous! Also we weren’t told ahead of time that the electricity was limited. The place was nice the living area is difficult to keep cool so unfortunately we didn’t get to spend allot of family time together there. Aaron was the best part he was so helpful literally the best! The amenities were great had everything we needed to cook/clean. If i went back I would probably stay again knowing what I know now. Thank you Aaron for EVERYTHING you did!!!

Brandy and Aaron were great to work with! From check-in to check-out the process was flawless. The location was very peaceful and incredibly beautiful. The snorkeling right off of the dock was amazing!

The house exceeded our expectations - spacious, comfortable and with high quality fittings. Its setting is amazing, by a private stretch of coral beach with your own small pool and pier. Given its remoteness, we had a few issues with water and electricity, all of which were taken care of by Aaron promptly. The snorkelling just off the pier is absolutely AMAZING, especially at night when we were able to see some more unusual marine life. We used Tank’d diving school to dive every day, who offered a superb service, collecting us and dropping us off at our pier every day. Access to town isn’t at all easy with the nearest restaurant and grocery shop a 20-minute walk in hot weather and persecuted by sandflies, the food at Neptune’s is ok for an occasional meal, but, like us, you will need to prepare most of your meals. Make sure you plan your grocery shop well as there’s no food at all provided (salt, pepper, coffee, sugar etc). Perfect place for marine enthusiasts, we loved it.

Beautiful clear blue ocean to snorkel and swim. Pool was awesome to have as well as all the places to relax. Would definitely recommend Blue Moon to our friends and family!!

This home was as advertised. The snorkeling from the dock was 10/10 and I have been a lot of places. Be prepared for the bugs, they are no joke! Brandy, Aaron & Nixon made everything so easy & were always reachable. If choose Utila again next year, we will absolutely stay here.

This place, like many others have shared, is truly the coolest spot we have ever found on AirBNB! The ocean and its miles of reefs are your front yard. We did not understand a couple of things before we arrived so I want to share our experience so that others know what to expect. First, this property is only accessible to the “main part” of Utila by boat. This is the great thing about it but also potentially a negative if you were expecting to experience Utila’s famous night life or even restaurants. The one ferry on the island leaves from Neptune’s every hour starting from 10-5pm. Second, the property is shared. There are two other houses on the property and they share the dock/waterfront. The property was full when we arrived and we were disappointed but guests left shortly after and we had the privacy that we were hoping for in this vacation property. All that said, we will be lucky to return to this incredible place in the future.

Absolutely stunning surroundings and location! Blue Moon is a few feet away from some of the most beautiful reefs in the world. Whether you are a snorkeler or diver, you won't regret choosing Blue Moon. My husband was thrilled to be able to go diving every morning with an awesome, local dive shop (Tank'd) that picked him up and dropped him off right out front on our dock. The house is well-appointed with a comfortable bed ( we slept in the master bedroom) and a very relaxing dipping pool overlooking the ocean. We cooked our own meals every day and walked down to Neptune's (delicious) for some amazing ceviche and adult beverages a few times. A couple of details to keep in mind: you need to bring your own snorkles, and, if you are cooking your meals, you'll want to bring your favorite spices as there aren't any in the house. We definitely want to come back to this amazing beachfront oasis!

The house, the location, the private pool, the setup, the beautiful, completely safe and private location, the super responsive property manager Aaron and extremely helpful caretaker Nixon were excellent. It is a small island, and we experienced regular electrical outages; however, the on-site generator that started up every time we had an outage performed well. Wifi was strong. Tap water on Utila isn't potable, but Aaron provided all the jugged fresh water we needed. We were allotted a certain amount of electricity per day, but, even with air conditioning running in our rooms all night, it sufficed. Utila had many sand flies and mosquitoes when we were there in early August, but the house, pool, and ocean provided fine refuge. The two of us and our two kids snorkelled daily (the reefs in front of the house and around the sand-fly-free Water Key, which Aaron took us to, were full of life); we watched movies nightly; and, overall, we had a great time. Highly recommended.

Excellent! This place is I think the best Airbnb I have visit, it is wonderful, everything was great : the house, the location, the sea, the people we met. It worth every penny. We recommend this Airbnb eyes closed. Hope we will have the opportunity to come back again. Thanks to Brandy, Aaron, Ian and Nixon for all.

Communication with Brandy from the time of renting the place has been very good, with very clear check-in instructions. Aaron has been looking out for us from our arrival in Utila to our check out. The photos posted don't show how beautiful it is to have a coral in front of the house and enjoy crystal-clear waters with white sand. Privacy, security, the house's facilities are exactly as shown in the photos, everything has made my family and I have the best vacation of our lives. If you're looking to disconnect from the day to day and recharge, Blue Moon is the place to be. We will definitely return to this place.

With my lady we have traveled around the world and we believe this Airbnb is in the first place. Cuanta con everything we like, snorkeling, diving, spacious house, all the necessary amerites for the accommodation: The coordination with Arón was incredible and helps us throughout our stay. We recommend it since we discovered a paradise. We'll be back with our family soon.

A little piece of paradise, everything was perfect started from the wonderful house equipped with everything you could need here settled on a breathtaking place with one of the most beautiful coral reefs I have ever seen just in front of the house, communication was quick, and if we had a question or a problem it was solved immediately, we even got a boat pick up from Utila center and they organized a delivery service from a grocery nearby before so that all our orders were in the house already when we arrived, the best airbnb accommodation I have ever been to

The real star of this place was the coordination between the host and the staff on the ground. With out Aaron and his family it would have been an ok trip but with them our every need was met.... Thanks a million....

In all my experiences using airbnb this was the best by far. The owner and the host were checking in with us even before we arrived to the island making sure we arrive and never get lost or lose time. They were waiting on us at the ferry’s dock and took us home on a private boat and it was a smooth beautiful ride facing the sunset. Aaron the host helped us go to the main part of town to buy groceries and charged us a fair price on his boat and waited for us on the dock to bring us back to the house. He also helped us get snorkeling gear and overall made everything easy for us. We felt welcomed and taken care by the host and the owner and we are sad we had to leave, we are definitely coming back as soon as we can.

Staying at Blue Moon Cottage was the best choice. I have stayed at several homes and have used Airbnb for over 5 years now, and by far this is the best place and location we have ever stayed at in Honduras. Brandy is the definition of a SUPERHOST. She shared details that were important for our trip. The house was very clean. Everything inside the house is in perfect working condition. Brandy made arrangements for pick-up and drop-off and made sure the person who was responsible was there on time. Thanks so much for a wonderful family vacation. 100% recommended!!!! Staying at Blue Moon Cottage was the best option. I have stayed in several houses and have used Airbnb for more than 5 years, and this is without a doubt the best place and location we have stayed in Honduras.
