The Hacienda Sayulita was absolutely perfect for our group of 15. The staff, food and drinks prepared were all incredible and the views could not be matched. The Villa was the perfect place to relax with family and friends, the rooms were each well appointed and the pool, hot tub, and balconies were the perfect spot to take in the sunset each night. Just a short walk / golf cart ride to the main town, beach, restaurants, and shops. It was perfect for our stay and the host and staff were responsive to all of our requests to make our trip smooth and easy. Would love to come back anytime!

Our stay at the Casita was absolutely perfect. The location could not be better, conveniently placed on the main street of Bucerias, but still felt private and secluded once you're behind the door. The proximity to the beach is perfect, we spent most days bouncing back and forth from the beach to the pool, and back to the beach for Sunsets. We had about half of our days meals prepared for by Mary, the absolutely wonderful in house chef and housekeeper, she made our trip that much better - You could really tell that she cared for our little kids and there was so much love put into her food you could taste it. Unlike many places we have been in MX, we felt welcomed and treated with respect by locals, not just walking ATM's to extract money from.- Bucerias did not feel overly touristy, and still had loads of Authentic charm. The place is extremely walkable, great coffee, markets, convenience stores, and even a taco truck parked out front most days. 11/10 - we will 100% be back.

Incredible home and staff! Our group of 18 stayed in Sayulita for a company retreat. The home is absolutely stunning, the staff is attentive and communicates perfectly, the food was out of a 5 star resort, but served family style. We have traveled all over the world and our stay here tops them all. If you’re thinking about booking this place, stop thinking and book.

Mari was outstanding and exceeded in all dimensions. Her cooking was outstanding and an example of delicious Mexican cuisine. The best food we all had ever tasted. She was very polite, responsive organized, and helpful. She also gave the group privacy. Mari was key to us having such a wonderful vacation. We will return again.

Shayne's place is easily the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. Shayne was responsive immediately from the time of booking and sent over very detailed information, despite being in a very different time zone. I traveled with 13 friends to Sayulita for a group trip. Upon arriving, Sergio and Daniel were immediately responsive and helpful in getting our bags up the hill and into the house. They also allowed us to check in a bit early and were very flexible. The house is IMPECCABLE. Beautiful decorated, comfy beds, stubbing views from every angle, flawless interior. The true standout of this home is the staff, however, I can not say enough positive things about Sergio and Daniel. They spoiled us and even put up congratulatory decor to celebrate my friends and I taking our board exams. Daniel is an amazing chef and the best meals we ate were right there in the house. Sergio kept the drinks flowing all day. 10/10. Thank you Shayne!

Our stay more than exceeded expectations. Mary was a star: welcoming, kind, and responsive without being intrusive. She created meals that were anticipated by everyone in the family and selected and prepared the yummiest of food. The casita was a literal oasis. We traveled during low-season (July) which meant hot and humid weather. While this was a welcomed change from the cold we escaped back home, we appreciated escaping the heat in the house’s sparkling pool and tranquil garden (overlooked by languid palm trees and the occasional curious iguana). The house is laid-out to blend the indoors and outdoors, all the while keeping your stay intimate and private. The beach was beautiful, a block away, and almost empty in July. Yet, we were never without a too many options for food and fun. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend the home, the area, and everyone who made our stay a true holiday.

What a location!! The team working at this house is offering incredible hospitality and makes the entire trip memorable and you feel quite cared for. My only note is that there is quite a bit of the cost not actually included in your Airbnb booking so be sure to read all of the details about it. We averaged about an additional 30% with extra rooms, tips, food, golf cart rentals, etc. That said, everyone in my family of 6 said it was a trip of a lifetime.

Shayne was incredibly helpful and responsive prior to our stay. She provided fantastic recommendations, was super accommodating, and always quick to respond. Upon arriving at the house, our group was absolutely blown away by how spotlessly clean and stunning the place was. It had every amenity we could possibly need. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Sergio was amazing in every way, Chef Daniel's dishes were out of this world, and the two ladies were wonderful. One evening, we enjoyed a beautiful dinner on the terrace, with Chef Daniel preparing a meal that we'll be talking about for years. The warmth and hospitality we experienced made our stay truly unforgettable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. 5 stars all around!

Mari and Shane took great care of my family during our visit to Bucerias (April 14 week). Mari is a great cook and she and team made sure we had everything we needed. The house is an amazing private space, and the kids loved the pool. It’s basically like being at a resort but without all the other guests. We had 8 people, which is just about the perfect amount for this spot. The beach is a block away and tons of shops and restaurants are within a few more blocks. The ladders to the upper lofts are a bit precarious and not a great option for young kids or those with limited mobility, so plan accordingly. Also, we were in town during Holy Week so there was a bit more street noise and activity than usual. This generally did not last past 9 PM. We will definitely come back to this spot next time we are in the PV area. Thank you so much to the whole team for making this a great family vacation!

This is a GREAT place to stay in Bucerias. It is literally in the perfect location. It was comfortable and clean. Karen and Maria took such great care of us, cooking us the best meals and making sure we had everything we needed. Staying here made our first trip to Bucerias so enjoyable and memorable. We will definitely be coming back!

We had such an amazing time at Hacienda Sayulita, Shane was a great host and Sergio/the rest of the staff were AMAZING- they truly went above and beyond in making all of us feel so special. The beds were so comfortable and the house/location overall was incredible! We hope to return in the future!

I can’t say enough about how great our stay was! Sergio and the staff went over and beyond my expectations, the house was so beautiful and clean and I would highly recommend not looking at any other properties and stay here!

This house and the staff are simply amazing. The house is so spacious with comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms in every bedroom. The pool and hot tub are perfect with incredible views of Sayulita. The staff was extremely accomodating and cooked incredible meals for our group. If you're looking for a luxury house to stay at with a large group, stay here.

Fantastic stay for 13 people. Came during low season and had a lovely time. The house staff were helpful and the cooking was delicious. Went above and beyond to make our stay special. The house is large and each room is very private. The pool and hot tub are breathtaking with the views of the ocean. Game room was a hit for the kids at heart. We are typically the adventurous type, but we loved hanging at the house, and the house manager helped us coordinate massages and other activities at the house. It’s nice to experience the city of Sayulita, but we found ourselves preferring to enjoy the tranquility of the house. I highly recommend the house to those planning to go to the region. Particularly, if you are planning to stay on property and create your own sanctuary. One thing to point out is the house is on a treacherous vertical road that was challenging for 30-40yr olds to walk up and down due to slippery cobble stones and steep slope. But once you walk in the house it’s lovely

Karen, Santiago, Angeles, and Gladis were such a wonderful group of staff. They were so approachable and friendly, and did their best to accommodate any request made of them. They always had smiles on their faces and seemed to enjoy the work they were doing in that beautiful house. The house was spotless, meals were always on time, and the drinks kept coming all throughout the time they were working. Hector, from the driving service was also really great and easy to work with and helped us coordinate lots of different arrival and departure times. We had a great time!

Photos do not do justice to this magical villa and the amazing staff that manages it during your trip! The en-suite rooms are all perfect, the game room is a blast and the pool has the best views in the city.

Hacienda Sayulita or as we like to call it "The Villa" was the perfect venue for our group of 18 to celebrate my birthday. The rooms, the views and the service were impeccable. We mostly stayed put so the insanely steep, cobblestone hill wasn't much of an issue for us, however, it probably deterred us from going into town more. The rooftop was an amazing surprise as I didn't even know there was one. The game room was a blast. We were mostly outside in the pool or hot tub, but it was nice to have other spaces to chill in. Lastly, Sergio (our houseman) was so wonderful and kept everyone happy with margaritas. The food was also delicious and definitely the move over going into town for dinner every night. Overall, 10/10 would stay again.

Our EO group went for a week retreat! It’s was incredible! The service provided by the house manager, chef, and maid service was phenomenal. Everyone plans to return with their companies and families! The location was central, the downtown was safe and comfortable - the house is a dream!

We travel frequently and always rent villas instead of condos. This was only the second time we rented a villa with full time staff. I always worry that they will be intrusive and impede feeling free and private. Mary and Karen were virtually invisible. I don't know how they accomplished it, but they were amazing. They prepared most of our meals and it was way better than any restaurant we tried in town. The house is one very short block away from the beach. You can hear the ocean and we didn't even bother to wear flip-flops to go back and forth. It was hard to get our teenage kids to leave the pool, which was heated round the clock and we stayed in there each night star-gazing for hours. The house is amazingly well appointed, authentic in style while modern in amenities. Shane was fantastic in booking us excursions, making great recommendations and being very very responsive on things we should not have even bothered her with. Truly a seamlessly run villa in all respects.

We loved our stay at Shayne's place. Mary and Karen were amazing cooks, and so kind to our kids. The home is beautiful, it is close to the beach and has beach chairs and umbrellas and body boards to use. The pool is amazing and the perfect temperature. The home is comfortable with plenty of space for our family of 8. We had a fabulous week here!

This was a unique experience for us with having Mary and Karen for cooking and cleaning and helping out with anything we needed. The food was awesome as was their hospitality. It was a beautiful place to stay with everything walkable. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy some beach and pool time with awesome food, this is a great pick.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful and memorable stay at This beautiful villa. The house is full of character and had all of the amenities to make our stay very comfortable. It is also very well located with excellent restaurants within a couple minutes of walking on the sandy beach. The best thing about this villa has to be the services that comes with the rental - Maria and Karen were there every day to provide top notch service from cleaning, making cocktails while we lounged in the pool, and made fresh, fantastic meals for us. They were always helpful and pleasant. The crazy thing is they were also very discreet; we didn’t feel their presence when we were not in need of something, but when we wanted a drink or something else, they were always there! If you do pick this place, please treat these ladies generously because they deserve it! Communication with Shane was prompt and easy, and all information was provided in detail to ensure we have everything needed. Thank you for making it a great trip for us!

We just returned home from a fantastic vacation in three different areas of Puerto Vallarta. We stayed at this lovely and luxurious villa in Bucerias for four nights to start off our trip and could not have been happier with the accommodations and location. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by Mary (house cook and all around awesome person) who made fresh margaritas, salsa and guacamole that we enjoyed poolside. She showed us around and we set up our home base for the next few days as we explored Bucerias and the surrounding areas. Shayne provided plenty of recommendations and extremely detailed guidance on the best way to go about things in the area. Mary and Karen helped us with everything needed at the house during the day and made sure we were well stocked for drinks and food through the evening. Although we could have enjoyed their cooking for almost every meal, we did get out to explore Bucerias - which we highly recommend - in fact, we think you'd be missing of the point of staying in Bucerias if you were not there to explore. It is a very walkable town from the cobblestone streets to the beach that goes on forever. We found this to be such a pleasant and welcoming home and would love to come back one day!

Out of the many homes we have rented this casita is one of my absolute favorites. It was everything we expected and more. The house was spacious, the pool was amazing and the staff was superb. We did eat most meals at the house, Caren is an AMAZING cook, everything she made was delicious and she also really catered to our children, ages 16 and 14. We had one issue with the cable television and it was rectified quickly. Shane was fairly responsible but we really didn’t need much as the staff took care of everything we needed. The beach was so close and we did go a few times but found the private pool to be so relaxing and easy! We definitely want to return to this casita in the future!

What an incredible vacation. Everything is taken care of from morning til night. Your every need is met! Service is over the top, food is delicious, house is better than imagined and the town/beach/community/people will not disappoint!

I have stayed in a lot of Airbnb homes over the years and this by far is the best one that I’ve stayed at. The home is beautiful and just as described. It’s one block from a beach that never got crowded. It has spectacular sunset views. You have restaurants and bars nearby. Maria was the BEST cook and host and made us feel right at home. If you are unsure of booking, trust me just do it. You won’t regret it! We will be back.

This was easily one of the best Airbnb experiences we have ever had, and we travel quite a bit. The pictures actually don’t do it justice- the Casita and vibe and chefs are amazing. The Casita is beautiful, spacious, clean, & private, steps away from the beach, and close to little shops and cafes. Our kids loved the pool more than the beach! It was so relaxing. The chefs, Karen and Mary, were so kind and made delicious food. It really was a one of kind experience that felt both luxurious and authentic. We already want to come back!

The location is amazing, my wife and I usually we stay at resorts in Puerto Vallarta or Nuevo Vallarta and let me tell you sometimes the beach is further from a ocean view that from the casita. I will say may be 200 steps from the door to the beautiful beach.

One of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had. As mentioned in the other reviews, the cooks were amazing. Shane is an incredible host and very responsive. The area was safe to walk at all hours and there's a lot of great local stuff going on just a few blocks north of the location. The pool was also a huge highlight.

We had such an excellent time staying at Shane’s home. The house was even nicer than I had anticipated and in such a great little area, literally one block from the beach. Miguel and Maria took excellent care of us! Maria is an incredible cook and really just a wonderful person to be around. Miguel was great vibes, super responsive and hilarious. He helped us arrange everything we needed with no hesitation. We will definitely be planning another trip back here and bringing some friends this time!

Our group of 12 absolutely loved our time at Hacienda Sayulita - many in the group expressed it was the best trip of their life! A couple things I wish I was aware of prior to our stay: 1) There is a pretty significant hill to get up to the house. It had rained a bit and we felt a little nervous walking up/down the hill. Just make sure you're prepared for the steep hill! 2) Also, there was some construction being done on the lot next to the house. Not sure when its expected to complete, but expect some noise Monday - Friday (as we were woken up to the workers during our stay). Very minor, overall, and think this place is somehow even better in person!

This place is as advertised. Fantastic team. Shane was a great help getting us set up and from arrival, the staff was there to help us with everything we may need. They made us great drinks and food. Very clean and the location was fantastic as it was within a few minutes of the town and the beach. We will be going back

Our stay at Hacienda Sayulita was absolutely incredible. The house itself is stunningly beautiful, impeccably decorated, and is the perfect space for a large group. Each bedroom in the house is gorgeous, spacious and comfortable, and has it's own bathroom, which is perfect for privacy. The infinity pool and hot tub are spectacular. All of the balconies, to include the huge rooftop deck, have the most beautiful views of Sayulita. The downstairs level has a game room, bar, and movie theater, which is fun for all ages. While the house itself couldn't be any more epic, it is the incredible staff that makes it truly unparalleled with any other accommodations I have ever stayed in. The entire staff at the Hacienda is completely dedicated to making sure your stay is enjoyable, relaxing, and fun. We were able to choose custom meal options and every meal that the chef, Santiago, cooked for us was so delicious and beautiful in presentation. The maid service cleaned our rooms and the space every single day, making it so easy and comfortable. And last but certainly not least, Alex/Alejandro, the House Manager and Mixologist, was so on top of making sure every single person in the house was taken care of at all times and made everyone feel like family. Another thing to note is that we also used the house for our wedding dinner and reception and it turned out to be absolutely perfect for a group of 30 people. I highly recommend this space for a smaller event or wedding, as our wedding could not have been more beautiful or intimate. I truly cannot say enough great things about this accommodation, we did not want to leave and we will be back again as soon as possible! A special Thank You to Shane for being so responsive, accommodating, friendly and helpful throughout the entire process.

Everything was perfect. The staff is amazing, the house has an amazing view and all its amenities really made our stay one to remember. We’re definitely going back as soon as we can. Also, the chef’s cooking is out of this world, the menus were amazing and the cocktails really made our day.

This place was absolutely amazing. Santiago the chef was amazing. His food was so delicious. And Alejandro was an amazing manager. He made us feel like we were at home and everything was taken care of. They even stocked the refrigerator with snacks and food for us. Super sweet guy. I will absolutely stay here again and the view is even better than the pictures. The infinity pool is beautiful and it’s so surreal up on a beautiful hill.

Our family has been lucky enough to stay at Casita Camino al Mar and neighboring Hacienda Camino al Mar a handful of times. We highly recommend it! The homes are perfectly decorated and superbly comfortably and the staff could not be kinder or more amenable to our needs and whims ;). We stayed in Casita with our family for my husband's birthday (2 families and one grandparent). The kids were rarely out of the pool and the adults had a perfect relaxing vantage point from the huge and comfortable patio. Angela and Mari were the icing on our already incredible, relaxing stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted with margaritas, homemade totopos (tortilla chips), guacamole and salsas. For our dinners, Mari prepared 3 great meals (salmon with asparagus, flank steak with salsas, beans and rice and shrimp pasta). Everyone loved the food, including my picky nephew. This home is a perfect respite for families or groups. The beach is a short 1/2 block away and the beach is wide and sparsely populated. Thank you! Gracias!

This place is amazing, the house is extremely clean and enjoys constant maintenance. The beds are super comfortable, the sheets and towels are of the best quality, it's like being in a five-star hotel, but definitely the best part of our stay was the attention Mary and Olga gave us. Every day we woke up to extraordinary breakfasts, we enjoyed natural juices, super healthy and clean typical food, definitely the best margaritas. We didn't need to go to any restaurant because we had two enviable chefs at home. Our Thanksgiving was very special, Olga and Mary made us a dinner with many exquisite dishes. Thank you for indulging us and we look forward to seeing you soon. I also thank you for always using the masks and driving deep cleanings following the guides to prevent any spread of COVID 19. The house is very nice, better than in the photos; what is great is the kindness and attention provided by Mary and Angela, who helped us in the kitchen and cleaning. Mary's food, delicious, highly recommended. It takes a bigger heater and one more bathroom, in order to be more comfortable. Thank you, we have an unforgettable vacation, we will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at Shane's place in Buerias. It definitely lived up to the rave reviews. The pool is beautiful, Mari was an amazing cook and the communication and recommendations were great. This is a perfect location if you like to do a lot of exploring, central to Punta Mita, Sayulita and Puerto Vallarta. If you plan to spend most of your time in Puerto Vallarta, it is pretty far and tough to get ubers or taxis at night, but great for a day trip. I recommend renting a car if you do plan on exploring. Definitely make the trip up to Sayulita, and don't miss the $15 beach massages about a minute walk from the house, just in front of Karen's Place restaurant. The pool at the house is honestly nicer than the beach, which is part of the large bay, but it's fun to walk up and down and pop into different beach bars. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would love to return.

It's the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in. Mrs. Angela and Maria were super nice, they kept everything impeccable... The food was delicious, better than any restaurant. The perfect location one block from the beach. We hope to return soon.

I highly recommend it

It was the trip of a lifetime. The photos of this home are incredible but seeing it in person took everyone's breath away. The architecture is gorgeous, the views from just about every room are spectacular, and every detail down to the little pops of color and local art in each room are perfection. Shayne went above and beyond to help us coordinate a family and friends trip. She arranged all of our transportation, had all of our food preferences waiting for us, and made plenty of recommendations so that when we arrived we were all able to just relax and enjoy our time together. The staff took such great care of us and were all so friendly and accommodating. Alex, the house manager, anticipated every need and made sure that every one at every age was enjoying their time. Santiago, the chef, is phenomenal. Every meal was a work of art, so fresh and delicious, and always served exactly when planned. And Karen and Angie, the house attendants, were so friendly and amazing, too. Even with our large group spending a lot of time at the house enjoying the pool, every room was kept sparkling clean, and anything we arranged went exactly as planned. Everyone was so impressed and all of our guests said that this was the nicest place they've stayed. We would love to come back again and highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a fun, relaxing and memorable trip together.

The host is very attentive

Our group loved our stay at Shayne’s place. The rooms were large and comfortable, the pool and patio was the perfect place to relax and beat the heat. We only used the cook for breakfast one day but it was very good. The location of the rental is great with everything that you need within walking distance. We look forward to coming back to visit again some day.

We are not well-practiced at renting on AirBnB and so we weren't 100% sure if we could trust the pictures and the descriptions on the AirBnB site. But we were blown away at how awesome this villa is and how good of care we were given. Everything from Shayne's quick response to repairing an AC unit that decided to quit midway through our stay, the amazing food we were served, and the cleanliness and orderliness that all things are kept. And what we weren't expecting was how awesome the neighborhood is and what a great location it is for walking. Literally everything we needed, ocean beach included, was within a two-block radius.

Don't know if I should hype it or keep it all for myself. This house, and the staff were beyond my expectations. Wow. This place made the trip.

We had a fantastic time on vacation traveling with all ages, from 8 months to 65. We spent the majority of the time enjoying the villa! We spent a lot of time in the pool and eating the fantastic food/drinks prepared by Ana. We loved her cooking and she accommodated the needs of our group of 10. Maria was also excellent in maintaining the property and assisting Ana. The villa is well run and everything is well organized which makes everything easy. Shayne assisted us by booking an in-home yoga session and the ladies in our group had manicures poolside. I would definitely visit this property again.

Picture perfect villa with incredible views! A large group of us (16 adults and 4 kids) stayed at Hacienda Sayulita for three memorable nights. This home is an absolute dream. The architectural elements are impressive and grand. The entryway is stunning with large agave and succulent indoor garden set in the front, a large dining table behind it and one of the most striking views you will ever see. The infinity pool is salt-water and a great size for a large group, sitting next to it is a large, comfortable jacuzzi perfect for enjoying in the evening. Communication with the owner was flawless and efficient and we were welcomed by a friendly staff ready to make our trip a perfect one. We had communicated with Shayne before about what we would like for dinner and the chef and his staff did not disappoint! Chilaquiles, eggs, fruit, fresh squeezed oj, refried beans, huevos rancheros for breakfast, happy hour with homemade guac and pico de gallo and warm, freshly fried tortilla chips The dinners were fantastic! A stuffed chicken breast with a delicious creamy poblano sauce, rice and veggies one night and encrusted fish and shrimp cooked two ways with sautéed vegetables the next. Both were top notch! The rooms are elegantly decorated in beach chic. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows and linens were delicious! Even though we were 20, the home is expansive and well-laid out, so we each had enough space to find our groove. The kids, both young and old;), thoroughly enjoyed the game room. The pool was the central focal point of our weekend with Alex, the house manager, catering to our thirst with some amazing margaritas! Alex was super helpful, kind and fun. The Hacienda Sayulita staff is incredible! They made our stay at this gorgeous home one that we will not forget. Thank you, thank you! We cannot wait to stay at Hacienda Sayulita soon!!!

Shayne, Alex and the team were fantastic. We were completely blown away by the level of service they provided and how beautiful the house was. Don't sleep on the chef -- the food they prepare is sooo good. Again, can't reccommend enough - we will be back, and hopefully annually!

We loved our stay. The place is absolutely a haven where one can truly relax. We loved the pool, the hospitality and the many iguanas on the backyard wall. The location is wonderful, just steps away from the beach. The foods that Maria prepared were delicious. Communication with Shayne is easy and she quickly fixed little problems we had. We certainly hope to be back sometime in the future.

What a great place to stay! The casita is fantastic. Even though the pictures are nice they don't do it justice. The chef was amazing. We ate in every night but one and we were impressed with every meal. The very best "feature" though is having a truly top notch host like Shayne. Never intrusive but always available with helpful recommendations, help with transportation, local knowledge, and greatly appreciated friendly and customer oriented approach to make sure the stay is perfect.

A stunningly beautiful place to stay in Sayulita

We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Bucerias! The Casita was absolutely beautiful, and the pool was such a huge plus! Shayne was a wonderful host, making sure my family had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy our stay. The house comes equipped with everything you could need, and is in a great location to the beach. Having our own in-house cook was probably the best part of our stay... everything she made was very delicious. We will definitely be staying here the next time we are in Bucerias!

As soon as we arrived we amazed of how beautiful this house is layed out. Even though it only has 3 bedrooms it was beautifully designed and you felt like it was much bigger. There is plenty of room for everyone and my kids ran around with total freedom. The design and the elegant decor made this stay so memorable. The staff was so great to all of us and the food they prepared was some of the best mexican I have had. We did not eat out at all. My friends and I without a doubt enjoyed our stay in Bucerias at Shayne's air bnb. The home and set up itself is so cute and made for a great experience. It was very spacious and the pool was definitely a favorite of ours. Communication between Shayne and I was great leading up to the trip and our chef/maid in-house were amazing (Ana & Maria). They definitely made our experience worth while. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in this area.

I am currently sitting in the airport and just wishing we could be back at the casita! Literally THE BEST, airbnb I have ever had in my life. I have traveled the world staying in airbnbs all over and this one is in a class of its own. We stayed here with a group of 8 for a bachelorette trip. First, the location is fantastic. You are away from the tourist trap that is puerto Vallarta but close enough if you want to go there for an outing. However you won't need to, the house is literally across the street from, the most beautiful beach!! There are bars and restaurants along the beach to enjoy a margarita with some guac before going into the very clean looking ocean. There is also a few really cute bars with live music on a street not far walking for some nightlife! There is also lots of cute shops and other restaurants on the street, even an Italian food place that was so good. The house itself is truly better than the pictures! It's everything you could want and more! I think next time we will bring dvds or a roku to watch movies, we found ourselves wanting to stay in the house and just hangout there!! The pool is the perfect temperature and so fun with the Bluetooth speakers to play whatever music you choose. And lastly, the absolute best part was the house staff! Just WOW!! Anya and the other girls were truly incredible going above and beyond to get us whatever we needed! As soon as we he house there was guacamole and margaritas waiting for us out by the pool. And the meals they cooked were sooooo incredible!! The coconut shrimp and sweet and spicy shrimp were some of our favorites along with the pancake breakfast. I am so happy we chose this place and I will absolutely be back again!!

The Casita was absolutely amazing! From the moment you walk in you are mesmerized by the authentic Mexican décor. The space is so tasteful and comfortable. Ana is such a great cook...every one of her meals was fantastic! While it is fun to go out to eat, you get restaurant quality cooking right in the comfort of your own place. It was very hot when we were there, so we really appreciated the air conditioned bedrooms. It was nice to just retreat to a cool space in the heat of the day! The location of the Casita is centrally located to great shops, restaurants, coffee shops and the beach. It is also a great location for day trips. We used the Casita as a home base and took day trips to La Cruz (for a sailing Catamaran trip) and Sayulita (don't miss this town)! Shayne provides a great guide with restaurant recommendations, things to do, and places to shop. Very helpful! My family had so much fun that we are already trying to figure out when we can go back! The Casita and staff were more than we could have hoped for. Beautiful interior, well landscaped, AMAZING location. SIX women loved EVERYTHING about the house and we all felt like there was ample room. I have already recommend the house to family and friends.

I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect when I arrived, but it was better than the pics in the listing. My girlfriend and I loved the private pool and having a chef and maid was amazing. You will NOT be disappointed if you rent this unit!

If you're looking for an AirBnB in Mexico, please look no further & book Shayne's place IMMEDIATELY!!! I booked it for my 30th birthday weekend with 7 others & it absolutely exceeded all of our expectations!! I'll start first with the chef - The food that Anita & Maria prepared was amazing!! We ate it for both breakfast & dinner each day (aside from our last night because we decided to venture out) & I'm still dreaming about it. I like how Anita was really collaborative & discussed what we wanted to have for each meal & any dietary issues. When it came to the house & outside, lounging by the pool & watching the iguanas walk across the wall in perfect weather felt like a dream. It was pretty hot while we were there (high 80s/90s) but the ACs in each bedroom worked great & blew ice cold air to keep us cool at night. Also, every time we drank a little too much the night before, Anita & Maria had the place spotless the next day. The place was impeccable & I really can't recommend it enough. Thank you Shayne - Can't wait to return someday!!!

This was our first time staying in Bucerias. Our family usually stays at a house in Conchas Chinas. Bucerias has everything you need. The house is beautiful and the service was better than we've experienced from other hosts in the area. It was nice to be able to walk to the beach and watch the sunset. Shayne was very responsive to our requests. Ana is an amazing cook and host and Maria was very friendly and always smiling. We would definitely recommend staying at this property!

This house was so awesome!!! Clean,comfortable and close to everything. Great staff as well. Close enough to the beach and to the plaza for some good late night street tacos and churros. Having breakfast by the pool and watching the iguanas walking along the wall was an added bonus.

Seven girlfriends from Minnesota stayed at Casa Camino al Mar for one week. Bottom line: the day after we got home, we all texted one another and said, "Wait. Why are we not there any longer?? Are we really not there anymore?" Our stay was wonderful and incredibly relaxing. We ate fresh, very tasty food cooked by Ana and Mari, and had great conversations and tons of laughs, and RELAXED by the private pool. The casa is 1 block away from the beach, and every single day, any number of us took 1-2 long walks along the beach. One day, a few of us took the beach chairs and boogie boards to the beach and spent several hours having fun out there. The house was very clean and pretty, and we loved watching the iguanas walk along the wall and munch on the hanging vines. We used the DVD player a couple of times, camping out on couch and watching movies we'd brought along. The pool was lovely, and it was so nice to have the salt water rather than chlorine! We went to the market (via bus) in La Cruz on Sunday -- cool stuff, and we each bought something. Also went to the Bucerias Farmer's Market on Wednesday morning, just a couple of blocks down. I should have known to not eat before I went. A safe little town, really nice people, great to be outside of PVR, away from the bigger resorts and crowded beach scene. We all were very happy with our trip, and before we'd even left, we began talking about coming back. We thank you for everything, and for your responsiveness before, during and after our trip!!

A group of 9 girls stayed in early August 2017 for a bachelorette celebration. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is such a great indoor/outdoor living fortress. The high walls really allow for privacy. August is a very warm time to go, but most of the girls are from FL, so we were used to it. However, the public/shared spaces do not have AC -- only the guestrooms. Anna the chef is literally amazing! Every single meal was the best meal we've ever had and we had people from NYC, Chicago, Denver, Miami. She's a really great cook. A few highlights: coconut shrimp, guacamole, chilaquiles, mexican lime pie, the rice! but literally everything was outstanding. Don't sleep on the rice though. Ask for the menus before your trip. We didn't receive them until our travel day. Location was really great, too. Literally 1/2 block to the beach. Hope this review is helpful!

The house was very difficult to find as there was more than one house with the same number,and the directions that were given were inaccurate and confusing. However, once we were able to find the house, we were amazed by how very beautiful the house and pool were! We also loved the location as it was within walking distance to the beach. Anna and Marie were very helpful and the food that was prepared was amazing! We would love to be able to come back to stay again sometime, hopefully in the very near future!

This house was PERFECTO! We stayed here for a week to celebrate my birthday. Ana the chef is an awesome cook. It was hard to choose a favorite meal because it seemed each one was better than the last one. Although I highly recommend the coconut shrimp! Angela always had the beds made after we woke up and always offered to do any laundry we may have had, along with always having clean towels for us to use after our many times in the pool. The location of the house is perfect. Right in the middle of the small town of Bucerias. Although you'd never know this based on the privacy of the backyard. The house is literally a block from the beach (massages for $15/hr!) and close to so many restaurants and stores. Shayne was great at communication and responded to any of my messages promptly. On our final dinner she even surprised my group with two musicians who played beautiful music for us. I can't wait to come back again!

This was our (husband + twin girls) first abnb experience and review. Our ideal family vaca is the four seasons (no crowds, no waiting, standards, inclusive amenities, limited transactions, needs anticipated.. I want everyone ecstatic while I don't have to think or do anything tasky. Given that about us- Shayne's a pro, the husband and kids loved the unique layout, beach access among other things and got to get super relaxed. The place is private, unique, charming.. the botanical courtyard and private pool made the time there pretty magical.

The ocean is close and great for swimming with kids. The villa is lovely and the food is amazing.

Shayne and her staff were amazing! We found her place based on general online searching as well as a referral from a friend. We were 8 women celebrating a bachelorette and had plenty of space. Shayne was very helpful in helping me plan ahead of the trip and provide any tips about the area, weather, etc. We were treated with delicious margaritas and guacamole and such friendly staff. Every meal was made to meet our needs and was delicious. The space was gorgeous and very clean. And the pool was great! Shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and the beach were all so close and felt extremely safe. A great benefit of the place is that you can use only 3 roomstrands for a smaller group or expand and use the larger property for large groups. It is overall anot amazing space. We were so pleased and it exceeded our expectations. We are already planning a family vacation back to Shayne's place and have also recommended it to others.

This place is perfection. It was more than I could have ever expected. The location, the staff, the house and the hospitality are amazing. If I come back to visit I will stay here again.

The casita is gorgeous and the perfect place for a beach vacation. Our family (4 adults + 2 children) visited during Semana Santa. the casita was spacious for the six of us. The walk to the beach is easy (truly one block), but in the quiet enclave of the casita, we spent most of our time in the pool. Truly, though, Ana (the chef and housekeeper) made our trip. Her attention was extraordinary. And the sweet resident Siamese cat was a nice addition. The casita is worth the price for an unforgettable Sayulita vacation.

Absolutely exceeded expectations. Location is perfect , amenities great and the highlight for us was the wonderful Ana. Ana was our host and chef and we were treated to incredible tasty and wholesome Mexican cuisine everyday. She even helped us put together a birthday party with a mariachi band and one of the best meals we have ever tasted! Thanks Shayne. We would highly recommend this beautiful casa to all.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. We rented both the Hacienda and the Casita (10 bedrooms total) from Shayne during the low rainy season in June for me, my family & friends to stay the week of my wedding in the area. Needless to say, this was a very special occasion for me and my family and I cannot imagine having a better experience anywhere else. The houses were amazing. The rooms were amazing. The pool was amazing. The staff were amazing and so was the food they made. Luis (the houseman/bartender) was amazing. The location was amazing. Everything else was amazing. Not only did we use it for lodging, we also used it as a venue for our rehearsal dinner (also amazing). One of the hors d'oeuvres was a shrimp/mango on a cracker and it tasted like what I imagine ambrosia tastes like. If you need a place to stay in the Bucerias/Puerto Vallarta area, look no further, you've found it. Some other comments from my friends/family: "Extremely accommodating staff, went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Luis [the houseman] even made sure I had strawberries and chocolate in the fridge for one of the guest's birthday. I would highly recommend the Hacienda and Casita.
