Casa Serena was truly serene. If you need some time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life then this home is your sanctuary for rejuvenation. The nature and animals were magical and the home itself was beautiful and clean. The backyard is full of jungle and ocean views while the front yard enjoys a unique outdoor bathtub and yoga platform along the creek. It doesn’t get more peaceful than this place. Julie and Josue were also incredibly responsive and helpful. They amplified our stay with local recommendations and helpful tips. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We loved this place!!! This home is truly amazing!! The view is stunning!!! from both sides of the home! The jungle part with the yoga deck right by the creek was by far the most unique spot ever!! The home is beautiful! Very clean! The bedrooms are gorgeous and the mattresses so so comfortable! Best sleep ever!! All of our 5 nights here was super great! We loved the kitchen and the beautiful pottery dishes everything taste better! Chef Pablo privet dinner highly recommend! Also the massage service the best! We enjoyed every moment of our time spend here! A place to slow down relax and soak in all of the beauty of Costa Rica! Thank you Julie!!we would Love to visit again!! Thank you Jos! Casa Serena exceeded every expectation. This place is absolutely incredible and truly one of a kind. The home itself is beautifully designed. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls bring the outside in, the furniture is high quality and comfortable, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The ocean views from the back of the house are jaw-dropping, especially in the evening at sunset. The location in the Puntarenas rainforest is spectacular. Yes, you'll need a 4x4 to get up the hill, but it is absolutely worth it. The privacy and tranquility you get in return are priceless. If you are looking for a luxury escape that genuinely connects you with nature, look no further. We will be back!

We had the most amazing time at Julie's home. From the views, to the sounds of the jungle, to being able to see Roy, the resident sloth...it was all perfect. I would definitely recommend, pictures do not do the home justice! Thanks for everything!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica, and it couldn't have been better. Julie and Josue were amazing to work with, and their response time was nearly immediate. The house was perfection and all recommendations for bookings and local to-dos was spot on. Everything was as described or better. The hospitality, attention to detail, and little extra above-and-beyond thoughtfulness was truly outstanding.

Casa Serena is one of the most beautiful homes we have ever stayed in. It looks wonderful in the pictures but somehow even better in person. The location is very quiet and peaceful. All you will hear is the abundance of nature! We didn’t leave, and when it was time to leave we didn’t want to! The home and the grounds are pristine! We felt right at home as soon as we entered! Julie is the greatest of hosts and started communication all we needed even before the trip started. Josue’ is a great property manager and was helpful in many ways including guiding us and a few others up the mountain! 4x4 is necessary as everyone else has mentioned! What a great pair!! Do not hesitate to book Casa Serena for a great tranquil getaway!!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful mountain home in Costa Rica. The ocean views were absolutely breathtaking, and the sunsets each evening felt like something out of a postcard. The home was very well equipped with everything we needed making our stay comfortable and relaxing. The kitchenware was beautiful. You can truly tell a lot of care has gone into the space. The host and property manager were both extremely helpful, responsive, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. This is a perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, and take in the beauty of Costa Rica. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway. 🌅🌴

Casa Serena is unbelievably special, a once in a lifetime experience. The home is pristine, an architectural gem, cleverly designed for comfort throughout the day, and perfect for relaxing. Julie and Josue were thoughtful, communicative hosts and we felt incredibly well cared for, thanks to their preparation, advice, and clear directions. We also enjoyed treats thoughtfully left for us. The yoga platform and jungle environment with so many animals was really special. Danyasa Yoga, Chef Juan Pablo, and Gabriela Villegas massage were excellent recommendations.

Hands down, this was the most peaceful and zen Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. The home had everything we needed, and Julie was an absolutely wonderful host—attentive, welcoming, and thoughtful. We especially loved relaxing by the pool, watching hummingbirds, toucans, and butterflies drift by, and soaking in the sounds of the rain in the evenings. It was pure magic. I truly hope I get the chance to return to Casa Serena someday!

Just wow!!! Absolutely no words can describe the most amazing stay ever!! Julie and Josue such an amazing team!! Super responsive,Respectful,helpful and just truly most amazing service. From the minute we booked it felt like we know them already for many years the way they recommended our tours helped us arrange and took care of any requests we could have asked for.The house is super relaxing and nicer then the photos it is absolutely stunning and I can’t even explain the peace quiet and privacy that Casa Serena has to offer. Julie was so helpful telling us where to look to find sloths and Josue was just there for any question or recommendations in the local towns anyways I’ll stop my rant and just say if you are traveling to Costa Rica Casa Serena is definitely a must and we will definitely be back!!!!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning surroundings—completely immersed in the jungle, yet with all the comforts of a luxury retreat. The home itself is beautifully designed, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time. Waking up to the sounds of nature, sipping coffee while watching the sunrise over the lush greenery, and unwinding in the peaceful atmosphere made this trip unforgettable. The host is absolutely amazing—attentive, responsive, and genuinely cares about making the stay perfect. The staff was equally wonderful, ensuring that everything was taken care of while making us feel truly welcome.
