After a month in Costa Rica, this was the place where we had the best time. It's just the right distance from the crowds. The hotel is in a beautiful location where you have a view of the sea and the pool from your own sitting area. The children can have a great time while you read a book, and when you're done with that, you walk over to what feels like your own private beach. All amenities and the room are in perfect condition. The hostess Valerie was there every day during the day, and constantly made sure you had everything you needed. The contact felt personal and very friendly. Thank you, Valerie, for the great days. We already miss Samara.

Kim and all the staff were really very welcoming. The hotel was intimate. The outdoor space is beautiful. The beach chairs are very comfortable. The outdoor dining area with the BBQ is great. The only downside is that the bar next door was noisy. The location is a 15-minute walk from the center of Samara. The pool didn't work 2 out of 3 days. And it's difficult to sleep on the bed in the living room/kitchen since the space is not air-conditioned and the windows are mosquito nets, so you can hear the music from the bar and the sound of the waves.
