This place is a gem. Sauzal is the perfect place to stay because you have incredible food and drink around, easy access to Ensenada but don’t have to be in the thick of it, and can head into the valle easily. Great house, plenty of space for a large group and a wonderful place to relax and hang out. Very responsive and accommodating host, easy process, awesome overall.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner with an ocean view! Rocio was very responsive before and after booking and during our stay. The house is very spacious, clean, nicely equipped, with amazing sunset views and an indoor-outdoor layout. We were three families staying and we had enough space for everyone. We parked our three cars in the gated driveway with no problem. Close to a grocery store, restaurants and the city center. We would definitely stay here again!

We celebrated my daughter’s 25th birthday and Virna’s place was better than we expected! There were 10 adults, this was plenty of space for all of us. The dining and living area are beautiful and open up like you are outside - views of ocean from every window and the pool and hot tub were perfect! She left us coffee (very good) along with a gift basket of local breads and pesto. Would highly recommend for a family stay or girls weekend! We wish we could’ve stayed one more day! Her private chef and winery driver recommendations were excellent!

Casa Medusa was a great place for our family of 11. The beds were comfortable, and the house was well-maintained and clean. It was in a great location on the edge of Ensenada and about a 30 to Valle de Guadalupe. Downtown Ensenada was about 10 min away, and you could easily take an Uber there if you preferred not to drive. The house had great water pressure with hot water, and the hot tub was kept nice and hot. We will come back when the weather is warmer since we did not get to enjoy the pool due to the cold weather. The hosts were always very responsive and easy to get ahold of. Great place overall. Hope to come back again!

Casa Medusa is highly recommended for trips with friends. My friends and I stayed there and from the moment we walked in we were impressed by the ocean view. The house dominates the view. It has excellent amenities, a super spacious and large pool, and the jacuzzi is always warm. We slept wonderfully in the beds. Every corner of the house has a detail that makes you feel comfortable. Virna gave us the phone number of a chef who is a genius. Armando is a great cook, everything was delicious

Me and 9 other friends stayed at Virna’s place to celebrate my bachelorette party and we absolutely loved our stay. The pictures don’t do the house justice - it’s absolutely gorgeous! It was super clean and we had more than enough room to spread out and feel fully comfortable all weekend. The hosts were super communicative and gave me a recommendation for a local private chef, as well as helped get groceries stocked upon our arrival. We unfortunately were missing salt, pepper, cooking oil, a sponge to wash dishes (no dishwasher), and paper towels, so we needed to get all of those items ourselves during the stay. That was the only downside, though. While slightly inconvenient, that would not deter me from staying here again in a heartbeat!

Virna was exceptional throughout the Airbnb process. The house was amazing—well-organized, thoughtfully designed, and everything was perfect. The kitchen, dining, and living areas had a cozy, homey feeling, and we had a great time watching movies together. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and comfortable, and the view was breathtaking. All the rooms were ideal for our family, especially the downstairs bedroom for my mother. The house is very private and secure, and the WiFi worked amazingly well. I highly recommend Virna's beach home to anyone. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Ensenada.

Casa Mendusa is a stunning property both inside and out. Our group had high expectations going in and the home exceeded them in everyway. Extremely clean and very well appointed with everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The infinity views to the Ocean were incredible as well. To top it all off, the hosts were extremely responsive and very helpful. This property is a must stay if you ever plan to visit the Ensenada/Valle de Guadalupe area. We had an exceptional time and will definitely return.

Our stay at Casa Medusa was wonderful. Virna was extremely responsive and addresses any problems immediately. The view is just spectacular and the home had many thoughtful touches that made our stay memorable. I would highly recommend for a family gathering (though note for very young toddlers it might require some close watching).

Heaven on earth. This home was incredible! The home is exactly how it is portrayed in the photos. Upon arrival I couldn’t help but notice how clean the home was. The water stayed hot the entire stay which was a huge plus. The view from both floors was stunning. It is highly recommended for a family, a group of friends, or even a couple. The vibe is diverse and accommodates any type of vacation you are seeking. There are plenty of towels for both the shower and the pool. I also loved there were plenty of warm cozy blankets throughout the house. The area felt safe and quiet throughout my stay. There were frequent evenings I simply enjoyed the sound of the waves without any outside distractions. I cannot wait to return with my family in the future. Highly recommend!!

This is a beautiful house with top-notch finishes, a perfect floor plan, and felt very safe. The pool and hot tub were both heated to the right temperature. It was quiet and private. Huge beautiful open space on ground floor. Very sophisticated look and feel, but very durable (our toddler was fine and we didn’t have to worry about him damaging anything). Very clean, great amenities (towels, pool floats, etc). We will return for a future trip.

This aspect became the highlight of our stay, especially when we enjoyed it from the comfort of the pool or jacuzzi. Watching the sun dip below the horizon while relaxing in the warm water was a truly magical experience. Its combination of luxury, comfort, and location makes it an excellent choice for large groups. It offered easy access to local restaurants & bars We left with unforgettable memories and a unanimous desire to return in the future.

Beautiful house with a lovely view and very spacious common areas that allowed us to gather comfortably with 14 people. On the other hand, regarding sleeping arrangements, I wouldn't recommend more than 12 people to ensure everyone has a private and comfortable space. Our standout moment was in the evening, enjoying the sunset from the jacuzzi! Minor drawback: We didn't realize there wasn't a dishwasher. Indeed it was not listed in the amenities

Planned my Fiancé and I’s co-ed Bach weekend here! The house was incredible and we felt like we walked into a museum. Everything was super clean. The windows in the living room overlooking the pool all completely slide open, creating an indoor and outdoor space. They provided bath towels for us all and pool towels on top of it. There were 13 of us. We all had a place to sleep and did not have to take any air mattresses. The upstairs living room has a really nice comfortable couch which we used as a sleeping g space as well. Each room had walk-in closets as well. Definitely a ton of space for a group! The bathroom downstairs is actually outside in the hallway. The house is fully secured and has a giant gate that protects it. Our 3 cars parked inside of the gate and we felt extremely safe. Wish we could have stayed longer!!! Thank you Virna!!

PSA- getting to the house is a little rough (roads were not paved and were very narrow), but once you’re there, it’s worth it! Thank you Virna and Rocio! Your hospitality was great!

Such a beautiful modern home with amazing ocean views! So beautiful during sunset! The house is even better than the photos listed and I was surprised about how large and spacious it was. Perfect for 10 girls for my bachelorette. Quiet neighborhood and felt very safe nestled on the hill with the security fence. No problems with hot water. Felt like a very luxurious stay down to the comfortable beds and high quality bedding! Virna was also so helpful leading up to the trip with recommendations. Highly recommend hiring Chef Jorge from Cariñea to cook your group dinner. The dining table fit 10 of us perfectly for a beautiful catered dinner in! Thank you for hosting us! 10/10 recommend!

Great stay! Looks exactly like the photos and the view is amazing. Virna/Rocio were very responsive and came quickly to the house when the oven wasn’t working to reset the breaker. The house itself is very nice, but not easy to get around without a car and nothing in walking distance around the neighborhood. Everything was as expected and instructions were very clear. One thing to note if you’re a coffee person, bring your own for the coffee maker. There were only enough coffee grounds/powder for one day and the creamer is in powdered packets. Paper towels and toilet paper were also limited so if you have a big group (we had 8 people) you might want to bring extras! Thanks for a great stay for my bachelorette party! We loved wine tasting nearby in VDG.

we stayed here for a bachloretteweekend in Valle. The Bride wanted an ocea view, which this place definitely provides! we also had a private chef, and she commented that the kitchen had everything she needed, and it was really well stocked with the supplies. Wish the hot tub was set at a hotter temp as it was more so lukewarm. The floors were a bit slippery, especially coming out of the pool/hot tub, so just be careful. We had a few people slip and fall. Otherwise a great place to stay and everything was great!

Virna's house is incredible. Past reviews are right - photos do not do this place justice. the style, the space, the views, the amenities - all amazing. It was perfect for our girls weekend and within a reasonably easy drive to Valle de Guadalupe. The views, the pool, and big luxurious common space were the best. Virna was great, friendly, commutative and helpful. I'll admit it's pricey but if you actually pack it with more people (we only had 5 but can fit 13 I think), it's reasonable. Thank you Virna!

I chose Virna’s gorgeous home for my 30th birthday with 12 of my friends and I am so grateful - it was the best experience of my life! The pictures really don’t do it justice. The rooms are extremely spacious and so comfortable. The jacuzzi didn’t work on our first night so Virna sent a technician who fixed it within a few minutes. Our driver (extra service through Virna), Emmanuel was so friendly and accommodating. The panoramic views are absolutely breathtaking. We felt like we were in heaven. We hope to return very soon. We stayed at casa Medusa for my bachelorette and it was everything I could dream of. The amenities included everything we needed and the surrounding view was beautiful despite the rain. The water in the shower is not suitable for when multiple people are showering at the same time but I was able to experience a hot shower while some of the other guests had to use colder water. The check in and check out instructions are easily visible And I was able to communicate with Virna very easily 🙂

Virna's home in Ensenada was absolutely stunning. The photos really don't do it justice. Our group loved the location because we had access to the city and to the wineries and we felt safe in the neighborhood that the home was located in. Can't recommend this airbnb enough!
