Janet’s home is a perfect family spot. I love the Cove next door and the dive shop. The pool is so fun for the kids and it’s large enough for two family’s and has two master bedrooms. We stayed for two weeks and had a great time. You can ask Daniel from security to grab you some coconuts for a lil cash. - go to the palapa and avoid bug bites and watch sun come up or set - you can take out a kayak to reef -in order to snorkel on reef you will need to go by boat or kayak which isn’t much of a problem with dive shop next door. I just had them drop me off when other group dived. - definitely wear bug replant - go with Sam from the dive shop to hand fish basically you don’t use a pole, this is fun to get some Black fin Tuna. Janet’s home is such a good time highly recommend. Thanks Janet

Great house.

Staying at Janet’s house was an absolute DREAM! From the moment you walk in, you are treated like family by her amazing staff. Every detail was perfect, and the hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. The house itself is beautiful, and the pool and outside area were so convenient, relaxing, and incredibly clean. It truly felt like a little paradise. The massage lady she recommended was wonderful, and the car rental suggestions were also excellent and made everything so easy. I would highly recommend renting from Janet. We can’t wait to come back!

Magical stay.

Home was great - area was very tranquil and surrounding community was naturally beautiful! Only bummer was the beach wasn’t our favorite. A lot of natural waste (seaweed), obviously this is just nature, so totally understandable but just not as pristine as other beaches. Still highly recommend the home and area especially since it has a pool, but just something to note. It was still beautiful to walk and see nature but just not layout by beach.

This place is amazing! You will have everything you need & MORE! They really thought of everything. They have huge tables everywhere so you’re always sitting as a group which I appreciated! The furniture outside & inside were very comfortable. The kitchen has EVERYThING. It will feel like it’s your house. The location is close to everything. No more than a 15/20 min ride. The pool was perfect for after the beach. The diving shop was literally 2 houses down & you could dive/snorkel/fish whenever you would like. We are already talking about heading back next spring break. Thank you for having such an amazing home. We definitely made many new memories as a family!

After multiple visits to Esta es la Vida, it has proven to be an incredible experience. Our main activity is scuba diving, so a 3 minute walk to the Scuba Roatan dive shop/pier is incredibly convenient. The serenity is unmatched, comfort exceptional, and overall vibes are high. We love our time in Palmetto Bay and will definitely return to this home in the future.

Had the most amazing stay at Esta es La Vida! Janet’s place is a little slice of paradise tucked away in a peaceful corner of Roatan. Janet sent tons of super helpful recommendations well ahead of our stay so we were totally prepared for the trip. The house is located right on the beach with a private pool and even comes with kayaks and SUP boards for guests to use. Salomé met us at the house and gave us a tour. We walked 5 mins along the beach to scuba dive everyday from an awesome on site dive shop, Scuba Roatan. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking at home, but we also enjoyed walking to dinner at the Cove, the Palmetto Bay restaurant. I can’t say enough positive things about this location. I will definitely be back for a future stay.

The accommodation is perfect, the photos are exactly like the house, and everything is very accessible to all needs. The person in charge of giving you the keys is called Salome, she is a very nice and super friendly person, and the host is very attentive. I fell in love with the facilities and especially the beaches. We will return next year

All was great. Be carful of the sand fleas. They are everywhere on the island.
