Some one helped us check in and walked us through the property to tell us how to work amenities. Readily responsive through messaging! Would stay here again!

We’ve stayed at Daniel’s place before, and choosing to book it again says everything. The home is exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Daniel is a fantastic host who communicates well and makes the entire stay smooth and stress-free. We had another great experience and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time we’re in Puerto Vallarta. Highly recommend!

Overall, I would give this Airbnb a five-star rating. First of all, the home itself is absolutely beautiful. The architectural design is stunning, and I loved the decor and color palette. The rooftop was definitely a highlight, offering incredible views of the jungle, beach, ocean, and city. It was truly phenomenal. My group and I (there were eight of us) had an amazing stay. The home was very spacious and perfect for a group like ours. We’re in our 20s and 30s, so we were able to handle the steep hill leading to the property, but that may be something to keep in mind for others. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Communication was excellent throughout our stay. They were especially helpful when some of our friends arrived earlier than expected. They kindly let them in and made sure they had access even while I was out, which we really appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It’s quiet, beautiful, and in a great neighborhood. The local dogs and cats!

We loved our stay here!! It was perfect for our group of five. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the rooftop pool, and then we would walk down to go out in town. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved staying at Casa Cavernicola. We spent so much time on the rooftop enjoying the views of the city and Zona Romantica. Everything was spacious, air-conditioned, and charming. That hill is no joke, though! We definitely got our cardio but it was worth it for the views!

Amazing place and the hosts couldn’t have been any better! The place is in a great location (yes up a hill but it’s totally manageable and can easily get Ubers up). I can’t say more about how great and attentive the hosts were!

Casa Cavernicola is a gem. We really put the house through it's paces as we spent more time there than originally planned due to some unexpected events. The facilities are great, the view is spectacular, and the apartment manager was very responsive even when plans had to change. Worth saying, this is Mexico, and it's a real Mexican neighborhood. Yes, there are chickens crowing and dogs barking. The hill is a doozy. There are also friendly smiling faces in the street daily, dogs that like a good head scratch, and billion dollar views at the top of that hill. Don't come here expecting the Ritz, but if you want better than Ritz views, a family neighborhood, and a great location at a fair price, I'd recommend Cavernicola to you.

Big upper deck with bbq & bar. We spent every morning up there enjoying coffee with a view of the city & ocean. Beds are large & comfortable. We easily walked into town & took a taxi or uber back up. I hope to stay again one day.

Great, clean, and spacious home. Right on the edge of romantic zone, close to the nature! The property is actually two separate apartments in the same building, but was still a wonderful stay.

This property was amazing! They were very accommodating to our specific needs and stayed in communication when we needed help. Would stay again.

Stayed at this property for a few nights with friends. Overall, it was good value and the host is responsive and has a team of co-hosts who you interact with at one point or another. The location is walkable but the slope up to the house is extremely steep and cars even struggle getting up. The grocery shopping service is convenient, but wish digital payment instead of cash was accepted!

Overall while a little off the beaten path, very affordable, with good views of the city. This is a high value location. The host was very responsive to our requests, including doing a grocery run for us on a holiday (at a rate more affordable than what can be found on Uber Eats). They also were willing to allow us to drop off luggage pre-check in. The rooftop grill was a nice touch too. There were some noisy animals nearby but we were provided earplugs and a white noise machine. Other opportunity for improvement would be turning the keypad locks so digital pins can be used.

The hosts were amazing. Very helpful and checked in on us, especially going. Into the holiday when many stores might be closed. The location and view were nice. Close enough to walk but not in the middle of everything. We really enjoyed the time and space enough for all 8 of our family that travelled to this holiday trip. Thank you Moises for all your help!

an excellent place to rest, everything was great

The stay was great, the beds were very comfortable and the views were impressive. Everything is very clean. As specified, it is at the top of the hill, which makes it difficult for some cars to climb, but most Ubers/taxis have no problem.

It was all as described.

Our group loved Daniel’s place. Very easy to communicate with and responsive. Beautiful view and relaxing spaces. Well appointed with all the amenities we needed. It is a steep hill but small price to pay for the view. We would love to stay next time.

The house is great lots of amenities the washer and dryer was awesome to have. The location is great lots of restaurants nearby. My only complaint is that I had no idea the house was on top of a very steep climb. Walking up was tough especially if you have any physical problems. It’s good exercise, but I did have house mates that struggled to walk up. We uber mostly even the cars struggled.

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful home in Puerto Vallarta. The property was perfect for our group and equipped with all the amenities we needed. The location is stunning and convenient for exploring the area. Our co-host, Moises, was helpful and responsive, making the experience smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend.

I loved everything about this home !!

Very clean house, very comfortable beds

I have stayed at many places in Vallarta, and this one was one of my favorites. From check in- check out it was so easy. As other reviews mentioned it’s a steep walk up the hill but a very cheap cab ride up. Walking down was a breeze! The house had everything you’d need to have a fabulous stay. I hope to stay here again in the future!

The house and the view are 5 Star. The host was very responsive, very welcoming, and accommodating. The only drawbacks are the steep hill getting up to the place and most notably the roosters & possibly the most annoying neighborhood dogs of all time barking non-stop everyday at 530 am… trust me- it will wake you up… bring ear plugs. Otherwise - this place is incredible. Had a great time.

Casa Cavernicola was incredible! My friends and I enjoyed everything it had to offer including the welcome gift baskets! Hosts were super nice, very easy to communicate with, they even helped get us a round trip transportation with a grocery stop! Highly recommend this home if you want to have the best experience. Offering a beautiful home walking distance from all your needs, an amazing view on a hill ledge, and the best service from the hosts! 10/10

Incredible stay! Place is great and Moises is so helpful with everything. Makes the trip stress free and so fun! Would definitely stay again!

The house was great and well appointed. There were great views from the rooftop deck. The beds were very comfortable and I slept well. The hill up to the house was quite steep but we would walk down and take a cab back up for about 100 pesos. No problem. Lots of animals around the neighborhood but it really didn't bother us that much. I would definitely rent again.

We had a great time, the house was beautiful, Moises and Elvis were both very welcoming and responsive to any questions or help needed. We loved the house being located on a hill that overlooked the city . Our only complaint was not having more time there. I would stay here again and definitely recommend

This was the perfect place to stay!

We had so much fun at this beautiful spot. We nicknamed it the Barbie Mansion for its beautiful 3 story infrastructure. The plunge pool, tiki bar and chaise on the top level make for the perfect outdoor lounge on those hot Vallarta days. Also there is air conditioning in all the rooms which helps with the humidity. The beds and linens were also very clean and comfortable, all of us experienced a deep peaceful sleep every night. Moises was extremely responsive to our questions and was also very kind! The hill to the apartment is pretty steep at the very end but if you’re able to make it up, the view is amazing. We hope to come back next year!

Very happ with our stay here! Host was very help and fast to respond if we had questions. The house is located on a hill which made traspotration just a little difficlut but most ubers made it just fin to pick up and drop off right infront. 10/10 would recommend

The Villa was super nice with amazing rooftop and a private jacuzzi. However, the villa is located on a top of a steep hill, and it was difficult to walk there. But it is worth it for the views. Super comfy beds too! During the night earplugs are recommended due to the barking dogs and noisy roosters. These were provided by the house. Also drinking water was available.

We really enjoyed our time at Casa Cavernicola. The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. It was comfortable and convenient and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted within the Romantic Zone in about 15-20 mins. The view from the rooftop is a great way to watch the city as the sunset.

Absolutely loved our stay at this stunning villa in the hills of Puerto Vallarta! The house is nestled in a scenic jungle, offering breathtaking ocean views that made every moment feel magical. The serene rooftop plunge pool was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of the surroundings. The host was incredibly responsive and even came by within 10 minutes to resolve a minor issue with the safe. The combination of luxury and natural beauty made this place feel like Beverly Hills meets the Amalfi Coast. Highly recommend for a perfect getaway.

So happy that we chose this place to stay in during our trip to puerto Vallarta. The house is beautiful, with gorgeous views while simultaneously being in a private location but also very close and walkable to the zona romantica. We will definitely be back!

Moises was also very great and helpful- he was there to greet us during our arrival and had great recommendations. Definitely would recommend 100%! Great Airbnb with one of the better views in town. Walkable but bear in mind a substantial hill to access it. It was a nice way to burn off all of the calories you’ll inevitably consume. Moises was incredibly welcoming along with a few others who helped show us the house and provided many great recommendations. Would recommend anyone to stay here, easily one of the coolest Airbnbs we’ve all stayed at.

Had a great stay

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The host was incredibly communicative and responsive, making the check-in process smooth and stress-free. The property itself was tidy and well-maintained, with all the amenities in perfect working order. The air conditioning units were particularly appreciated during the warm days. Overall, a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

This house was truly the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The house was massive and the decor was very cute. The AC was also great. The rooftop terrace and pool was my favorite part of the house. My friends and I enjoyed spending a lot of time up there swimming and taking in the view. Moises was also able to arrange for a private chef experience where they grilled for us on the rooftop while we swam and hung out. Truly an unforgettable experience. The only things that were maybe “cons” were: the hot water would run out fairly quickly for a house of 7 leaving some of use with freezing showers; the dogs and roosters in the area bark a lot (but I’m pretty sure this is most of zona romántica); and throughout our stay, bugs started showing up in the house (could maybe be avoided if you make sure to keep all the windows and doors closed). Regardless of these cons, we really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here for my birthday and I was the most lovely trip! The house was gorgeous as were the views. Daniel and Moises were super responsive and very attentive. One night the power went off due to a storm and ended up being the issue of the city power, but Moises was over super quick to help us out even late at night. Would highly recommend them for your next trip to Puerto Vallarta :) Thanks so much for having us, we had a blast!

The place was beautiful and they were really helpful! The private chef made delicious meals for us in the rooftop overlooking the view as well :) We had so much fun and had SO MUCH SPACE! So many rooms with the most comfortable beds ever! The only thing is bringing your luggage up the steep stairs so try to pack light or a smaller luggage if you book here. Us girls had a little hard time with that and the construction noise was super loud in the morning and we couldn’t go back to sleep around 8am. Overall, we had an amazing bachelorette experience here!

Everything was perfect . Very clean house . The only bad thing is that their is no parking and it’s in a very steep hill. Not all cars can go up the hill

Incredible Airbnb, such a beautiful house with great amenities, the kitchen space was great to cook and we loved lounging on the terrace upstairs with a bbq. They even provided coffee and fruit and a welcome bottle of tequila which was a lovely touch. The beds were so large and comfy we slept so well! Moises our host was super attentive and even let us check in early and check out late, he was so friendly and responsive to all our questions. The location is excellent a 10 minute walk into town where all the restaurants and bars are and about 14 minutes to the beach. The view was stunning. Do not hesitate to book this Airbnb it is a special place. Thank you for everything.

I was very impressed with the decor of the place, you can tell a lot of attention was spent to make sure the home felt as such. The place was at the top of the hill but we had no issues getting Ubers / cabs to take us up. 10/10 would stay there again.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Daniel and his team made check-in and check-out easy and were extremely responsive throughout our stay. They gave great recommendations on places to eat at and things to d. The house was incredible. The rooms and beds are both very comfy and elegant. Washer and dryer are a life-saver. The neighborhood is authentic and neighbors are friendly. A taco stand and grocery market are 2 mins away. The rooftop area is such a fun spot and the pool was extremely relaxing to hang in and around. The view was unbeatable. It is about a 7-10 minute walk down to Zona Romantica which is where I would recommend you spend most of your time. The one thing I would mention is the house is located at the top of a very steep hill, but Ubers back from downtown cost less than $4 USD and were available at all hours so the hilltop location was a positive and not at all a negative. Highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta. I know I will for sure be coming back

Casa Cavernicola was such a great find! It is well-appointed, relaxing, and affordable. I was most impressed with Daniel's cohost, Moises, who was on-site, incredibly communicative, and accommodating. He reached out a week in advance and assisted my group with transport and stocked the house with groceries for a small fee! The highlight of our stay was ending each night on the rooftop, swimming in the pool or gathered around the outdoor kitchen . The house was a respite away from the bustle of the beach. The hills were filled with roosters among other animals; however, each bedroom is equipped with a white noise machine and ear plugs should you need them. I would recommend Casa Cavernicola to any of my friends and would definitely stay here again!
