The privada is in North and beautiful in every way. Super clean, rooms with their own bathrooms. So many details to make your stay feel like you are in a resort. Rafael is a super attentive host and makes you feel right at home.

Rafael’s place is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. It is in close vicinity to several malls, restaurants and hospitals. I love staying in the north area of Merida so the location was perfect for all my needs on this trip. The house was excellent and matched the photos. It was bigger than expected and I was surprised to see that the tv room can double into a bedroom with a private bath. I LOVED staying at this house. There are many activities to do inside and outside the house, nice pool, ping pong table, board games, grilling etc. the house is spacious and clean. All appliances worked perfectly! The beds were super comfy! Best night rest I’ve gotten in a while. Everything was on point. I 100% recommend staying here. Rafael was always communicating with us to ensure we had everything needed. Lastly they left us an amazing welcome gift which really set the mood for our stay after a long day of traveling. You won’t regret staying here. I give it 10 ⭐️’s

Everything is very good! 5 minutes away from the Island and the outlying area to go anywhere. Very spacious and comfortable. Rafael is a great host and always saw for us for us and helped us when he could. My family with kids felt happy and very comfortable in the house. I would definitely come back.

Rafa and Diane were very attentive hosts. Their place was extremely clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our time and didn't want to leave. Great location in the northern end of the city, great shopping and dining locations are all packed around the house

Rafael and Diana were the perfect Hosts. Extremely helpful, recommending places to visit. This was our first visit to Merida and they helped us navigate, they went over and beyond our expectations. Everything we loved it, for work homeoffice the internet was perfect, the pool does not know how delicious ( my baby is in every day because the temperature is deli) everything is very comfortable, Rafael is very friendly and always attentive ! It made everything easier for a baby ! 100% we recommend it!!

Rafael was a great host. He was very responsive, proactive, and helpful with anything related to the home, neighborhood, and local recommendations. The house is in great shape! It was very clean, it is practical and has a great layout, everything works, it has comfortable beds, the internet is very good. We felt very safe and right at home. It was perfect for our family! The neighborhood is quiet, clean, and there is a playground right outside the house. The security guard was very friendly, and useful when we asked for directions. Overall, we had an outstanding stay at Rafael and Diana's. My wife and I highly recommend it!

The house is amazing! All the comments are 100% deserved. My family and I had a very comfortable time, at times it was difficult to leave the house. If not, Merida is fantastic! Haha. Rafael and Diana are super hosts, they welcomed us with a spectacular touch! My 8-year-old son, I love the pool and the ping pong table. The beds are delicious!!! Board games are always a special touch. Cleaning in the house of 10! It may not be downtown, but its location is privileged. Feel free to stay here, you will love it!

Casa Bugambilia was perfect for our family. The location was wonderful for us, since it was in the north near some relatives. The house was lovely and very comfortable! Our king bed was very, very comfortable - and we can be picky! Rafael is very responsive and was a joy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this property if you have a family and would like to stay a bit out of the action!! We would definitely go back.

I have to admit we were a bit skeptical when we saw all of the lengthy and glorious reviews of this place but let me tell you they are all correct! And look at me now I'm writing a lengthy and glorious review myself ;) Our stay was absolutely amazing! Rafael thought of everything to make the stay extremely comfortable. Here are the highlights for my family: Extremely spacious and well layed out. Washroom, giant closet and patio for every bedroom was convenient. Location is fantastic. 5 minute drive to shopping and main roads in whichever direction you're heading. The complex is very quiet and with 24/7 security so we felt safe. The house was squeaky clean! So rare to find that with other airbnbs. We were welcomed with treats which was  generous!  Rafael's communication was impeccable. Responding instantly and always making sure we were supported. Private pool was so fun! We enjoyed it and appreciated having access to a washroom from the outside. Kitchen had everything and more to make your cooking enjoyable. Beds were comfortable and we all had the best sleep. I can go on forever about our stay but to summarize I'd like to share that when we were at the airport we realized we forgot something at the house. I messaged Rafa and he instantly replied he was on his way to the house. Within 30 minutes he was hand delivering our item for us at the airport! We couldn't believe the kindness! THANK YOU Rafa! We are forever grateful and we will definitely be back!

Excellent stay. The area in which the house is located made us feel safe at all times, the services that the place had met our expectations and more, there was nothing we needed to be able to comfortably enjoy Casa Bugambilia. Everything that was within our reach in the house was too much for the price we paid, because there is no doubt that an Airbnb in that area, with such amenities, could be much more, so the Casa Bugambilia is worth a lot and we were fortunate to enjoy what it offered in an accessible way. Likewise, the style of the house; minimalist and with the highlight in wood and macrame, they gave it a quiet and clean atmosphere. The pool area was our favorite because it had night lights that turned the space into a movie scene. In addition, the care of the owners, Rafael and Diana, was incredible, they were patient, very kind and from the beginning giving us the exact privacy that should be given between host/guest. It's definitely a wonderful house to stay and relax in the town of Merida.

This property really makes you feel like you are in a house really made for you... it has everything and everything is well conceived in a way that they have thought to provide the greatest comfort for the visitor. The attention and communication with Rafael is of another level, super attentive to any unforeseen event and attentive to any need. A property that its location,safety, cleanliness, are of a higher level,data to keep in mind. We are sure that if we return to Merida it will always be our first choice ...Thank you Rafael for this property makes Airbnb still the best option to take family vacations...

I spent a couple weeks pouring over listings looking for the right place to stay for us in the Merida area. For us, three things were essential: 1) Quiet and peaceful area. Certain family members are light sleepers and so it was essential to be in a quiet residential location. 2) Safe and secure location where there were no concerns about petty crime. 3) Clean and modern home with enough space for family to spread out and get ready for the day at the same time, but also have opportunities to relax in a cool pool in hot weather. Based on the previous reviews, we selected this house and it absolutely delivered on the three requirements above. I was amazed at how quiet the neighborhood was. The house backs an open area with trees and has a gated private driveway in front. As a result, you get the best of both worlds: you are in a peaceful area with nothing but the sounds of birds and yet with a seven minute drive, you can be at the mall, or at a shopping center, or the any number of restaurants inside the ring road. My wife appreciated the friendly neighbors that said hello as we walked around the gated community. She is also a self-professed "clean freak". As a result, the cleanliness of this house was the biggest contributor to her enjoyment for the week. Everything was super clean. Better than most US luxury hotels. Sparkling clear pool, polished floors, perfectly made beds, spotless kitchen. It was all wonderful. In addition to the three essential points above, here are some great extras about this house. Rafael was thoughtful about checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed to have a pleasant stay. We did. After a long trip in from the USA, it was nice to have a thoughtful selection of snacks and drinks for our arrival. That was a nice touch. The house was also stocked with a five gallon jug of drinking water which we used throughout the stay. The pool was clean, clear, and cool and had plenty of outdoor shaded seating. The location on the northern edge of the city makes for a great centralized location to go into Merida Centro or go to Progresso. Both are about 20-25 minutes away. Lastly, the entire process was easy and seamless. Overall a fantastic place to spend a few days.

Excellent house, the photos fall short for what it really is. From the moment you arrive, the vibe of the house is super familiar, peaceful. The rooms are super comfortable. The pillows and mattresses are wonderful. Super experience that deserves to go back and repeat.

First of all, the attention to detail and amenities in this house is outstanding. I stayed with my friends at Casa Bugambilia from Thursday to Sunday and really didn't want to leave. From the very first moment, I felt right at home. We didn't need anything, the hosts are attentive and generous, so we had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend. The location of the house is one of the best, in the north of the city where the trendy developments are located and close to the ring road. It is necessary to mention that the house is located in a fairly exclusive residential complex, so they have security measures and extensive strict regulations. So you will probably enjoy this house more if you go as a family, couple or quiet groups that do not disturb the neighbors. Thanks to the location and the security items to access, we felt safe at all times. Rafael was always attentive to answer any of our questions. For the comfort, good taste of the details and attention of the hosts, I would definitely return to stay at Casa Bugambilia. Thank you for everything!

Every detail in the house is extraordinarily taken care of. The house is better than described; functional, super well located and with everything any guest expects to receive. Rafael is very attentive to our needs. Super touches the bottle of wine and snacks he offered us as a welcome courtesy. The property is highly recommended!

This place was absolutely beautiful, boho elements and super stylish. Everything you need like a washing machine, hair dryer etc… the neighborhood is very safe and calm, and there is a super cute playground for kids. The pool was amazing, and we had fun playing table tennis and piano. The rooms are stunning, every room has a bathroom and a huge closet. Rafa was always there to help us and feel like home. We absolutely recommend this place!!!!

Rafael thought of every detail to spend a fabulous stay, you definitely feel at home with the Hotel great tourism category, the cleanliness was unbeatable, every corner was super clean. The terrace is a wonderful little place next to the pool that works automatically by the way, it has a pine table put where you can spend hours of fun, the kitchen is fully equipped you will not need anything, if you want to pamper yourself with a cappuccino or a smoothie. The whites in the rooms are delicious if you want your soft or hard pillow depending on your taste, the bathrooms have full amenities towels, hand towel, hand soap, body liquid soap, shampoo with the smell of tea tree, conditioner, dryer, robes to be comfortable, the toilet paper is quality, the indirect light and light with sensors in each of the necessary places is phenomenal, upon arrival I had the air conditioning refreshing the house for our arrival which is greatly appreciated with a bottle of red wine and in the refrigerator apples, bananas and ice pallets. I can't write the many details that made the abyssal difference in this stay. We didn't see Rafael physically but he was always close enough and necessarily far enough to enjoy our stay, he was always attentive to our needs, very kind and very helpful, communication was always incredible and immediate. I couldn't recommend anything to improve because the service from him was perfect. We are leaving very grateful and happy with our stay!
