I want to thank Abdías for all his attentiveness. The house perfectly meets expectations. We took a week-long family trip to Oaxaca, and the stay really allowed us to enjoy our trip a lot, since it is a very good distance from shops, downtown, and local attractions. The house is in very good condition, optimally clean, with a very beautiful garden and a pool with an extremely pleasant temperature, which allowed the children to enter without any problem. We hope to come back soon!! By the way, also, thank you very much to Abdias's mother, a very nice person, very attentive and with nice touches for our family.

From the moment we saw the photos of the house, we knew it was a unique place to stay in Oaxaca, and when we arrived, we were all amazed. The area where the house is located is very quiet for relaxing and safe; the comfort of the house is excellent. We enjoyed all the areas, as we were traveling as a family, including our pet, and we loved every corner of it. Our host was always attentive, from the moment we asked for information about the house until our departure. We enjoyed a delicious Oaxacan breakfast; we felt very pampered and comfortable, like at home. 100% recommended, and when we return to Oaxaca, this will be our place to stay again.

My wife and I, our three kids, and my wife's parents recently stayed at Abdías's house in Oaxaca and it was truly fantastic. The house is even better than the pictures and the grounds are large. Even with seven people we all had privacy when we wanted. Abdías's mother welcomed us at check-in and came every day to check on us, tend the plants, and also release the Peacock (which my kids thought was truly magical!). She was such a sweet, non-intrusive presence. She made us breakfast with an assistant, Lucy, on our first morning and it was absolutely delicious. Abdías is without a doubt the most professionally communicative Airbnb host I've interacted with. He reached out early, provided recommendations, and helped us with taxis. He always responded quickly and thoughtfully. The house is in a quiet, beautiful suburb about a 15 minute drive to Oaxaca. While you can walk to a beautiful nearby hotel, you'll need a taxi or a car to get downtown. 11 out of 10, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Wonderful stay. It exceeded my expectations, I definitely recommend it and would happily book again. Hot water, excellent water pressure in the showers, good quality complimentary amenities. Comfortable beds, clean sheets, enough towels available in the bathrooms, and for the pool. Impeccable kitchen as well as utensils and dishes. Relaxing and safe atmosphere that allowed an excellent quality of sleep.

Great Place Great Hosts Great Location Amazing Vibe

The neighborhood felt very safe. The house was exactly as advertised-very clean, blackout curtains great for sleeping in, great water pressure. It was very spacious and my children loved the swimming pool which was very temperate. We really felt the outdoor space was paradise with the hammocks, the fish pond, and Kevin the peacock. One can really relax on days where no excursions are planned. We had no problems getting to our excursions and were picked up from the house directly by Didi (uber equivalent) or the tour companies. Abdías’ mother was incredibly nice, helpful and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend this property to people with families looking to relax.

What a lovely house. We felt like at true Oaxaca home. They even let us do an early check in. Also coffee and hot chocolate preparations were a nice touch of warmth. The host was a real gentleman as well. Highly recommend it and absolutely will stay again if we come back.

I cannot say enough about how amazing this villa is. From the architecture and construction detail, to the art and decorative artifacts. It was amazing to hear the birds from the aviary while we sipped our coffee and tea, and the landscaping and gardens made us feel like we were in a tropical paradise. Everyone enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, and was the perfect place to bond two families together for the wedding of Maria and Taylor. We really enjoyed celebrating my wife's 40th bday with our group of 6! There was plenty of space and we probably could have been comfortable with a group of 12. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, but walkable to a few restaurants. The pool was awesome and a great spot to relax with our group. All the beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of clean bathrooms. HIGHLY recommend this property! Lucy and Arcelia (the housekeepers) were very nice and made us breakfast one morning as well as Oaxacan hot chocolate and pastries another! Abdias is an amazing host and was super responsive and helpful leading up to our trip answering questions and recommendations. Taxi Note: It was the weekend of the indigenous cultures festival in Oaxaca, so it was likely extra busy. But we all had the Didi app, yet we did struggle to get multiple taxis to come pick our group up at the house a couple of nights. We ended up walking to the main road and waving some down though.

Spectacular stay! We absolutely loved the villa and wish we could have stayed longer! Abdias was the perfect host- answering my numerous questions, assisting with recommendations, and making sure our group was happy and comfortable. We especially loved meeting his mother, Flor, who graciously came to the villa to assist my elderly parents with check-in and helped us sort the delivery of medicine from the pharmacy when my teenage daughter developed a cold during the trip. Flor also surprised us with freshly baked bread and Oaxacan chocolate one morning before an early morning tour- so thoughtful! We were amazed by the exceptional hospitality we experienced. I have stayed in AirBnBs all over the world, and this was by far our best and most special experience. We had a magical time, and we hope to be back soon! Thank you, Abdias, Flor, and Lucy!

Our stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of exceptional. We were a group of 8 and we all loved staying at Abdias's home. It was the perfect home for gathering the group together, and also having private places to spend some private time alone. Abdias was extremely communicative and responsive and it was clear he wanted us to have the best time imaginable. Flor and Lucy were also amazing, they found out we were celebrating a birthday and surprised us with a delicious cake. The pool was incredible and the water pressure in the bathrooms was perfect, not easy to find in Oaxaca. I would highly recommend this property as the perfect place for a group to enjoy a wonderful city, and feel right at home.

We were really surprised by the warmth and hospitality with which we were treated. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. It has a large, 100% heated hotel pool. The rooms are very nice, cozy and very clean. But I think the best part is being able to count on support from both the kitchen (they cook deliciously) and transportation support all the time. Although the house is not strictly in the center, you feel close to it since it only takes a few minutes to get from one place to another. The privacy of the location and the tranquility are worth it in exchange for the distance, which I repeat, is very short. We left HAPPY and with a slightly broken heart for saying goodbye to our beautiful Doctor, who is also warm and splendid. Also thanks to Lucy and Julia who made us return fatter and happier. A real pleasure to have stayed with the three of them. And Abdías was a GEM who was always attentive. Super host. THANK YOU OAXACA!

We had a great time at Abdías' house. Abdías was very helpful with local recommendations, from reliable drivers to mezcal tastings, and he was quick to respond to our questions. Lucy, the housekeeper, prepared breakfast for us one morning and it was delicious! It was such a treat to see Kevin, the peacock, every morning and to spend time in the beautiful pool and hot tub. Thank you, Abdías, Flor, and Lucy, for a lovely vacation!

Our stay in this Airbnb was magical. The house was perfect for our party of 9. In a quiet neighborhood. Spacious and well loved by it's owner and caretakers. Lucy met us and showed us in. Arcelia made us special Oaxacan hot chocolate from the cacao pods grown in her own garden. Kevin, the peacock, showed us all his beautiful feathers. The garden was lush and green. The pool was sparkling clean. The ACs in each room were cool. The beds comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bodega down the street had a surprisingly large selection of food and fresh tortillas. The Michelin Star restaurant Abdías suggested was amazing and walkable. It's easy to get into el centro by taxi. They arrived quickly for about $6US. The tour service Abdías suggested was fantastic. They also took us to and from the airport. Abdías was always quick to answer if we needed anything (we didn't!) Lucy and Arcelia couldn't have been any sweeter. You will ❤️ it all and never want to leave!

Wow! This was the best Air bnb we have ever stayed at! The property itself is stunning and surrounded by your own personal gardens. The pool and hot tub were way bigger than we thought and it was so nice to swim after a long day of exploring the city. It’s super easy to use the Didi app to grab a taxi into the city and only runs you about $7. On the way home from the city center it’s easier to just hail a taxi than use the app. The beds were comfortable and it was great to have A/C. Also having Kevin (the peacock) on the property was so fun! Abdias is the best host! Him and his mom were so reponsive and helpful! One night we had an issue with the water and they were there within 15 mins and had it fixed within 30 mins. He also set up a private mezcal tasting for us at the house which was so fun! He also gave us a recommendation for dinner at the hotel up the street. It’s a Michelin star restaurant and it’s one of the best meals I’ve ever had. An amazing week, we will be back! ❤️

You cannot go wrong booking this amazing Villa! From the generous host to the pristine home, it exceeded my expectations. Abdias was always responsive, helpful and gave us great recommendations. The house is beautiful and the garden is really spectacular. The location of the house is in a quiet area, so it is easy to rest, whether at night or during the day (in the company of Kevin, the peacock, or the delightful and sweet cat who resides on the premises). We loved the landscaping, and can only imagine, with its diverse collection of plants, that it is beautiful year-round. Abdias is an exceptional host! Not only is he a kind and friendly person, he is always immediately responsive and extremely helpful. He really goes out of his way to ensure that his guests are happy, even offering to run to the store for us on Christmas Day. The house is also well-appointed, including the most functional kitchen I have yet to find at any Airbnb.

Fantastic spot, about a 15-20 min taxi ride from the centro. The pool was amazing, nice and warm, perfect for an afternoon soak. The grounds are spacious and well maintained, our group loved the place and would not hesitate to return.

The house is absolutely beautiful!!! Abdias was always very responsive to our questions. His mom, Arcelia also was at the property to help us figure a few things with pool. Everything is well organized in the home. There were 8 of us that were enjoyed the home. The house is approximately 20 minutes from el centro. It is very easy to call a cab and they are there within literally seconds. The cost is approx $6 dollars to get to el centro, which is not bad! There is a small grocery store around the block for snacks etc…Abdias recommended the tour agency, Alebrijes Tours. Super nice people!!! We did have a chance to visit el Mercado for very good mole, Comedor Chabelita…overall, great experience and recommendations!!!! Oaxaca is truly beautiful!!! Thank you Abdias and your mom Arcelia for allowing us into your beautiful home!!!

Abdias' place and hosting are top notch! The house looks just like it does in photos - it is so serene, well kept, and private. We absolutely loved "Kevin" the peacock who roamed around in the mornings. Abdias' mom helped us check in, and even made us hot chocolate one morning. She was so sweet and kind - we loved her! The decor is phenomenal, and the atmosphere of the space really made you feel like you were in Oaxaca. Most importantly, Abdias is the BEST! I have never had such a communicative host, who was responsive within minutes of a request - whether for calling cabs or food recos. He made us feel taken care of and we appreciate him and his mom for making our friends trip so special. Thank you!!!

To say this place is a gem would be an understatement. Abdias is an exceptional host, very accommodating and responsive. I would highly recommend this property. It’s perfect for large groups. The property is massive. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by our other host, Abdias’s mother. She’s a very sweet lady, and stayed to give us a full thorough tour of the property. Uncovered the pool for us, and even made us some Oaxacan hot chocolate. This neighborhood is very tranquil, and only about 15/20 min away from the center. Abdias exceeded any and all expectations of what hospitality truly is. I appreciate all the special touches during our stay, I can’t wait to come back to Oaxaca and stay here again.

Wow! This house is an incredible experience. We stayed one week with our two girls (ages 6 and 9) and my sister. We chose this location because of a local family who also lives in this neighborhood with whom we were planning to spend time. It is away from the noise of the city, which is wonderful (but may not be ideal for those who want to be out in the city every single night). It is just a short taxi ride away, so for us that was no problem. The pool and garden were the real stars. We swam most days and it was so peaceful and private. Lucy, the property caretaker, is wonderful and even taught my sister to make memelas! She made us cafe de olla and chocolate for the girls. She is so sweet. Abdias was incredibly responsive, the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had. He is quick with great recommendations and took care of any questions I had very promptly. I cannot recommend this house highly enough! I wish we could have stayed much longer!

The stay was beyond exceptional and we felt at home with all the special touches provided by Abdias. The moment you walk in to the house it makes you feel at home. You are welcomed into gorgeous garden views and an entire fabulous outdoor space. We were so close to Centro Oaxaca which made it so easy to go to all historical places. The hospitality and the good energy surrounding the house is amazing. Lucy is such a sweetheart and very helpfu! We can’t wait for our next adventure to build more great adventures at such an amazing place.

This place is exactly how it looks and described beautiful surroundings and oasis for you to get away from the city and not want to go anywhere. Just stay there and relax by the pool. I say that because it is very inconvenient to walk anywhere if your older or unhealthy like me lol I could barely walk to the park around the corner. If you enjoy hiking, then you could pretty much walk wherever you wanted to. Markets and restaurant around the corner that we went to. It was absolutely gorgeous. It did take a little bit of my breath away Thankfully I could have asked for a better place to be. the Animals are so amazing was the best person we could’ve had to help us with breakfast and cleaning and advice she took care of us like she was my aunt. I will miss this place and I can’t wait to go back

Do not hesitate to book this beautiful house! We were a group of 6 women from Canada & USA visiting Oaxaca for the first time. The house accommodated all of our needs; enough spaces for alone time, lots of hot water, bed linens were clean and lovely, house spotless!! The grounds are GORGEOUS!!! We felt we were in our own botanical gardens. The pool is exactly as pictured. It was hot when we were visiting and we used the pool morning, noon and night. We were so happy!! Abdias has to be the most responsive host I’ve ever dealt with. Always prompt, helpful and above all KIND!!!!! We used Didi to & from the centre with no problems at all. I would only stay there again, if we return to Oaxaca. The absolute grace & charm of Abdias and his family made it the experience we needed. Thank you 🙏

The house and grounds are beautiful , pool is very nice & Abdias is a fantastic host.

This spot at the edge of Oaxaca is as advertised. I wasn’t sure if it would match the photos and it did. Abdías was a very responsive host and the individuals working to keep the villa clean and taken care of were kind as well. The property is gorgeous. Pool, balcony, hammocks, peacock, seats and chairs for a huge party if you have one. 3 of the 4 rooms have bathrooms either attached or next door. A very memorable stay for our group. Happy we found the spot! *Note that this spot is a decent distance outside of Centro, so you will want your own vehicle if you want to go back-and-forth for excursions or getting into Centro. Otherwise you’ll have to call taxi companies to get rides.

This is a BEAUTIFUL home just a short taxi ride away from downtown Oaxaca. The pictures don't even do it justice. We loved our stay here! Lucy takes great care of the property and was there to meet us when we arrived and answer any questions that came up during our stay. Highly recommend!

We booked the property for a 9-person extended family getaway in January. The facilities exceeded expectations, providing space for all three generations to enjoy. The pool held steady at a comfortable 90F (32C) for the whole stay using only solar heating. There were plenty of spaces to stay cool in the shade or warm in the hot tub. Two good restaurants and a playground within a short walk. Taxi or bus service into Oaxaca Centro for sightseeing/shopping as well as available online grocery shopping. It's not cheap but worth the price.

You can go out, you have to spend several places from its location or stay all day to enjoy the place or just rest an excellent place. I can’t say enough about Abdías and Arcelia’s house and outstanding hosting. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were always available for advice about transportation, dining (and whatever else we bothered them about). I can honestly say this is the best AirBNB experience we’ve had, and the best hosts too! Lucy the housekeeper is an absolute sweetheart and made us a delicious pot of Oaxacan hot chocolate on our first morning. The cats and birds are so fun to have around! The house is a true retreat from the chaos of Centro, and only a 15-20 minute drive. Getting cabs is easy and fast, so if you like having somewhere relaxing to come home to after running around all day, this is your place. The pool is amazing. Every room is comfortable and spacious. My whole family was so sad to leave at the end of our trip. We’ll never look elsewhere for a place to stay when we come to Oaxaca!!

We had an amazing time. Our host was responsive and very helpful. Lucy was incredible made us feel like family!! We hired her to make us a delicious u breakfast and she provided us with top-notch service. Although the house was 20 minute drive from the city it was perfect. The pool was relaxing, beds we’re comfortable and plenty of space to spread out and relax!

Fantastic experience - a great house in a great neighborhood. Abdias was very responsive and helpful. We had a party of 4 friends, and there was more than enough room to get together when appropriate, yet not be on top of each other. Since it is helpful to hear of something to watch out for, be aware that while there are two excellent restaurants within short walking distance, you will either have to have a car or take a taxi (or DiDI, the local equivalent to UBER) to get pretty much anywhere else - even to buy groceries. Being on the edge of town, it was not easy or quick to get a taxi or Didi ride to come to the house. If you are from the US, no matter how good of a driver you think you are, don't even think of renting a car and driving around town yourself - even with your GPS. Once you are there you will see what I mean. That said, central Oaxaca is unbelievably loud 24/7, and this is in a nice quiet suburb. For a large group or family, this house is a great option

The attention provided provided upon arrival was very helpful and accurate with incredibly good communication with Abdias. The house is in very good condition with a total operation of appliances, swimming pool and jacuzzi. The layout of the bedrooms is good for privacy with nice areas of coexistence and air conditioning in the rooms. Very spacious garages for vans and a location in a quiet area. I highly recommend the property.

I organized a 50th birthday reunion for my husband (4 couples in August). The house is amazing and the host is incredibly responsive and helpful - 5 star customer service. Tips: pass on the gas cost; In main house - only 2 of the bedrooms have an attached bathroom. One bedroom has to go up 2 flights of stairs to reach the unattached bathroom that is outside one of the other big bedrooms (one couple struggled). Cash is king in Oaxaca - not a lot of places take credit cards. Highly recommend the mezcal tasting at the house - worth the price but eat first. House is a 100-150 peso taxi ride (10-15 minutes) from city center where all tours leave from and you have to call for pick up at the house. Use what's ap to communicate with resources. Lucy the housekeeper is a star - worth paying for her to cook breakfast every morning. Bring music. Use the meal and grocery delivery service (host can help). By far the most incredible host I have worked with - Gracias Abdias!

We had a lovely stay at Abdias’s house. We traveled with my family of 6, including 2 young kids (8 and 5). The house was so spacious with impeccable grounds. The kids loved the pool and swam almost every day. We unfortunately do not speak Spanish and had issues with Didi, Rappi and our credit card, but Abdias was so gracious to book every single taxi for us. We had no issues taxi’ing to whatever we wanted to do in centro. Abdias was extremely responsive, polite and helpful with recommendations. I highly recommend this property if you’re looking for an expansive space to relax and enjoy the gorgeous views.

My group of 6 friends and I stayed here and we absolutely loved the property. It is well taken care of with lots of thoughtful touches. We had more than enough space, had full use of the backyard/garden area as well that made it feel like an oasis. The birds in the aviary took a bit of getting used to (sunrise squawks), but definitely a cool experience to say the least! Since the location is a solid 20 minutes from the city center would recommend anyone visiting for an extended period of time to rent a car or hire a private cab service during your whole stay. We also worked with Abdias to help recommend a cab service, tour guide, private dinner and breakfast. He is a 5 star host!

We had the most wonderful stay that is almost too hard to put in to words. To start, I have never had a host be as responsive, conscientious, and caring as Abdias was. He truly went above and beyond with every part of communicating with us throughout our stay. Things that were even outside the realm of what a typical host would do. The house was magical. The photos and description don’t do it justice, which made it that much more amazing once we were there. It had everything we needed and then some. The pool was so relaxing it was hard to leave because of how much we enjoyed it! The aviary was an unexpected surprise as well. It was fun to watch them interact and to hear their happy chirps. There is such an attention to detail throughout every part of the house. We felt very welcomed and at home. The location itself was secluded and private and is a short ride to town. Cabs were always very close by whenever we called one. You will not regret staying here! We can’t wait to come back.

Abdias is an EXCELLENT host. Always attentive to what you might need. The facilities and the entire house were impeccable. The pool water is at an excellent temperature. Everything about it was excellent.

This is a magical place to stay and the host Abdias is amazing, attentive, full of knowledge and his recommendations for private transportation and a chef that come to serve you dinner are top notch! And some of the best mole we had all week! After a day of exploring, experiencing and enjoying Oaxaca this is the perfect place to come back to, to relax and unwind. The pictures of the tropical gardens, art filled rooms and beautiful pool truly do not it justice! We would highly recommend. The beds are comfortable, there is a fully stocked kitchen with great coffee and we loved the special hot chocolate surprise by Lucy during our stay. How many times do you get a chance to live among peacocks that stroll the grounds! It was worth every penny!

Abdias's home exceeded our expectations. The home is beautiful with traditional decor and stunning wood beams throughout. The gardens and pool are exquisite, and our family of 5 adults had an incredible experience. It was nice to have their own bedrooms and bathrooms. The house is spacious and lot's of room for our family to spread out. The house is well and had every thing we needed to cook some meals. Centro is about 10 to 15 minutes by taxi, and it was nice to be in a quiet residential neighborhood at the end of a busy day. We ate a 2 nearby restaurants, a short 5 minute walk, and they were both outstanding (one was Oaxacan and one Mediterranean). Abdias is kind and an excellent communicator. He arranged for a ride to the airport for us! We had one tiny mishap and told him right away and he was easygoing about it! Abdias, Arcelia, and Lucy made us all feel at home since the moment we arrived! The house was beautiful and offered us a peaceful, quiet, and FUN time while in Oaxaca. It was nice to walk around the garden before taking a dip in the pool, and the jacuzzi was great at nights. Also, the hosts were attentive, responsive, and so helpful! Highly recommend this place. This place was perfect for me and my family (7 total). It has plenty of room and very comfortable to spread out inside and out. The pool was great and the outside landscape was beautiful. Each room has its own ac system but we didn’t really need them as the house was pretty cool inside regardless of the heat. Abdias was very helpful and easy ti communicate with. We were surprised one day with some hot chocolate waiting for us in the am! If you go to Oaxaca you must try the chocolate! We stayed here for 5 nights total and would definitely come back. It is only a 15 minute drive from the center of Oaxaca (we rented cars) and there is a very nice upscale hotel up the street with a nice restaurant that offered traditional food and some night offered Mediterranean. All in all definitely worth it!

Abdias’ villa is a serene sanctuary in the already picturesque town of Oaxaca. You almost feel guilty stepping away from this little oasis because it’s the epitome of your best version of a great time! From the bird sanctuary, to the surrounding greenery, to the openness of the villa- you’ll find yourself sinking into an abyss of relaxation and peace. Its proximity to the city center and surrounding hotels and restaurants makes it even more appealing as you’ll indulge in the best cuisine and Mezcal has to offer, knowing that you can take a dip in a beautiful pool and hot tub upon your return. Every detail in the house makes it feel like a home away from home. Looking forward to my next visit!

I can't even put this house into words–it was so beautiful and peaceful, we hardly wanted to explore Oaxaca! The pool was wonderful and the perfect temperature to hang out in all day. The bird sanctuary provided endless entertainment for my artist friends who loved sketching the peacock. The woman who cared for the property—Lucy was so kind and pleasant. She made us Oaxacan hot chocolate one day that was ammazzzing. There are a ton of great restaurants near by but also a great kitchen for cooking at home as well. We would definitely recommend this place and will hopefully stay here again! Thank you Abdías!

What an amazing stay! Abadías is an excellent host! He was very communicative and provided us with everything we needed for a fantastic week-long stay in Oaxaca for Day of the Dead. Whenever we needed something Abdías was quick to reply. The house itself was incredible. Fast WiFi, beautifully decorated, spacious, and peaceful. The pool and hot tub provided us with our own oasis right near the heart of Oaxaca. The location was perfect. Close enough to the city center that we could catch a quick taxi and be there in 10-15 minutes, but far enough away that it was peaceful and not crowded. I would highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone visiting the beautiful city of Oaxaca.

This home is a gem! Oaxaca city was a magical place for my family and I thanks to this home and the magnificent people behind it. The owner of the home had great communication from day one, made sure my family and I were prepared for our trip, and made sure we were accommodated accordingly throughout our complete stay. If you are looking for a magical time in Oaxaca City, you must stay here, because I personally guarantee Mr Abdias will make sure the magic is delivered.

A group of friends stayed at Abdías's home, which was exceptional. Before my visit, I communicated with Abdías multiple times to help align meals, transportation, and sights around the Oaxaca area. Abdías was terrific to work with and offered guidance to the area and sites. In addition, he arranged for Lucy, the housekeeper, to cook us breakfast daily and a private chef one night for dinner. Lucy was lovely and made us delicious traditional Oaxacan dishes. The house was clean, with large spacious rooms, cozy, and plenty of space for a large group. The house is about 15 minutes from the heart of Oaxaca. There is an onsite pool and hot tub. Abdías, before our stay, filled the tank to ensure we had warm water in the hot tub. My only feedback to future guests is to make sure you ask about the hot tub controls, for we didn't turn off the tub as we should have and ran out of gas the last day. The house grounds and gardens are beautiful. Onsite in a bird atrium with two gorgeous peacocks, parakeets, and parrots. My dog was obsessed with watching them, and so was I. Check-in and check-out were effortless. I frequently would message Abdías with questions, and he was always responsive. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful house. If we get another opportunity to revisit this area, Abdías's home will be our first choice.

We had a fabulous time here! There was everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, there was lots of seating space both for eating and for lounging. The pool had toys, chairs, a table and umbrella. The beds were comfortable. Mezcal was waiting for us when we arrived. We got a tour of the house and there is a good “manual” to explain everything about the house. Abdios was really helpful, offering information and recommendations when we asked and arranging taxis which was life- saving since we don’t speak Spanish. He is a great guy! The last day we were here Lucy came and made homemade hot chocolate for us. So delicious! We would definitely stay here again.

The safest neighborhood in Oaxaca city. Abdias was so accommodating helpful and quick to respond. The plants, pool and birds make you feel like you are in your own private retreat. Beautiful , clean and peaceful the perfect getaway for relaxation and fun.

Beautiful grounds, large swimming pool, spacious bedrooms, great water pressure, peacocks, parrots and cats, and fans and air conditioning make this a very comfortable and pleasant place to stay. Tucked away just north of the downtown, it is an oasis to come back to after a hot day of sightseeing!

Stayed here during a vacation with friends, and the house was perfect for our group! It's located about 10-15 minutes outside of the city center on a quiet street. The pool is gorgeous and the house is well-appointed for a group or family to stay. Abdias is one of the best hosts we've ever had! He was extremely attentive and so helpful in providing us with recommendations and setting us up with tours.

After spending almost two full weeks at Unique Oaxaca, it was very difficult for my husband and I to say goodbye and come back to the US! The house is big, clean and very comfortable. The grounds are even more lovely and exquisite. When staying at Unique Oaxaca, you will have your own personal paradise! For those that prefer to do some cooking of their own (like us), we found the kitchen full of any needed utensils and dishes. The bedrooms were great with the beds and pillows being clean and very comfortable. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and other necessities. For those individuals that may need to work (like us) while staying at the house, we found the Internet to be very speedy and stable enough for all of our Zoom calls. Downtown is only 10-15 mins away by taxi which affords you the luxury of being away from all of the "hustle" but close enough to easily travel to. Lastly, I cannot say enough about Abdías! He is definitely a Super Host! Communication was always great, easy and very speedy. He assisted with recommendations, transportation and even translation sometimes. 😂 Most of all, he helped schedule a nurse to come to the house to get our COVID tests before we returned home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return!

This place is amazing! Absolutely what I expected based on the photos. If you are considering this spot-book it! Definitely my best experience on Airbnb. Abdias’s house is beautiful, clean & tidy. You couldn’t ask for anything better. We did a 5-night stay with my family as we were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary and I’m so glad I booked this trip here. This is a beautiful house in a lovely residential neighborhood about 15 minutes away from downtown Oaxaca. The house is on a dead-end block so its extra quiet and extra private. Spacious, comfortable, nice kitchen, family room, office, dining rooms and cozy sitting areas. Definitely highly recommended! The kitchen is very well-equipped and the house has all the necessities in general for a large group (hair dryers, irons, pool towels, umbrellas, etc) The host was flexible with our check-in time and was highly responsive and available to answer any questions at any time. The host has literally thought of everything a guest might need. The host made sure we had a fantastic stay in the city. The host was kind enough to recommended a driver to pick us up at the airport (Dalai) and we ended up using his transportation services during our entire stay since we had a group of 8. We were also connected with a tour guide (Cesar), that was extremely knowledgeable and taught us so much about the local culture in Oaxaca. Our host Abdias even arranged to have our Covid test taken at the house prior to our departure back home. I would absolutely stay here again. This place and host deserves a 15 on a scale from 1 to 10! Hope to come back one day.

The home is incredible in so many ways, but it’s the host’s kindness and hospitality that made our stay incredible. Abdias house is beautiful , it’s big , clean, confortable and has everything you could need. The house has great wifi which allow me to work. The pool and garden are amazing , we enjoyed it a lot. We were surprised of how well maintained they were. Abdias and his family were so welcoming and made sure we had everything we need. We stayed 7 nights and wished we had stayed longer . We hope we can come back soon. It is the perfect place for a family vacation !

If you’re thinking of coming to Oaxaca, don’t look any further, this is THE place! The house is big, beautiful, full of art and Oaxacan handcrafts, which make it really cozy. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, and you have plenty of towels, for the bathrooms and the pool. The pool and jacuzzi are maintained twice a week, so they stay clean and beautiful. The garden is amazing and well kept. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need. The neighborhood is very quiet, and having the little “tiendita” a block away is great, in case you need the basics. Abdias and his parents are the nicest, most attentive and detail oriented people you would ever meet. Sadly, we didn’t get to meet Abdias in person, since he lives in Mexico city, but we were in constant communication. He would even check in with us, if a couple of days had passed and we hadn’t touched base! In case we needed something 🙂 Who does that!? No wonder he is an AirBnb Super Host. My husband and I have been traveling for eight years now, we love our gypsy life, and we mostly go from one AirBnb to the next....We spent 2 wonderful months at the house and we’ll come back for sure! Definitely a house that far surpasses expectations. It is a very large and comfortable house. Abdias and his family were always attentive to our doubts and worried about why we had a great vacation. They took care of every detail in our stay to make it even more enjoyable. The house has a great pool. A very large size along with a hot tub that definitely after a day in town is the best place to get to relax as a family. We are definitely invited to come back again. I recommend it's a private home.

Abdias and his family were so welcoming, and went above and beyond for everything we needed. They made sure everything was perfect. The house is about 15 minutes from town by taxi, but a bus route also passes by on the nearest main road, about a 5 minute walk. The house information booklet had a list of taxi companies and phone numbers, which made life easy. The outdoor space, with an impeccably maintained garden, was beautiful and relaxing. There is a small tienda at the end of the street with basic necessities, open every day. We truly enjoyed our stay, and felt extremely comfortable in the house.

I loved staying at this village in San Felipe! You need to take a cab to go to downtown Oaxaca but it’s super easy. Abdias was the most thoughtful host I’ve had at Airbnb. He provided unique touches that made out stay extra special. I 100% recommend staying here specially for a large group!

Excellent place to stay in Oaxaca city, very quiet. The pool was a plus since I was traveling with my two kids. 15-20min taxi ride to downtown.

We were a group of 9 staying at Abdia’s place and the experience was fantastic! There was enough space for all of us to be together or enjoying some time of our own. Beds and the house itself is very comfortable. The house is about 10-15 min drive from the city center, so we could go and come back easily.
