The treehouse is beautiful and built to be sturdy. You float in the treetops and are completely surrounded by the jungle. It must have been part of a complex with several houses, of which apparently only this house is still rented. The paths are gradually overgrown and becoming wild. The trails listed are therefore barely passable. The house itself is perfect.

Super secluded, and surrounded by animals. Being so close to the canopy allowed us to see fauna up close that we otherwise wouldn’t from the forest floor. During our stay we saw Toucans, a pit viper, kinkajous, and several species of amazing bugs.

Simply an incredible experience. We stayed at one of the further away lodges with the rope bridge linking both sleeping lodges. Beyond amazing! There was torrential rain when we arrived & the sun was going down. The remoteness and atmosphere made it like being in an Indiana Jones adventure! - Our kids (12 & 15) loved it (I'm so glad that it rained so heavily!!) We've travelled across Southern Africa in a 4x4 using a roof top tent and we thought to that was exciting - this, however, was another level of remoteness! Good tip. Near base camp there is an amazing river that you can swim in. It's very safe & a great temperature. If you're not into adventures & don't like bugs, then this is not for you. Otherwise you will love it! We stayed there for 2 nights & it was one of the highlights of our 2 week Costa Rica adventure!

So it was an absolute experience to immerse yourself in nature. The solar was defective and everything was easily resolved. That happens. The access is as described only with four-wheel drive and ground clearance is also necessary. The hiking trail to the tree house fits with about 20 minutes and leads partly over laid loose tread plates. Mosquitoes didn't eat us either, although a few fly screens had holes. Would we book it again? Yes, even if we didn't see as many animals as we wanted.👍

If you want to stay “on your own” in a very special location this is it.

This tree house is very special. You are alone, far from civilization in an accommodation in the middle of the jungle. There is only forest far and wide. The drive to the parking lot is very adventurous and impossible to reach without 4x4. Then a hike through the jungle on slippery paths. It is recommended to bring all food and enough clothes for the duration of the stay. It is very humid and nothing dries anymore. If you're looking for jungle adventures, you have to book this.

An amazing place in the middle of the jungle, cabins that we will not be able to forget. Nature lovers should not miss this experience. 🥰

Nice secluded spot up on the mountain, good location if you’re looking for a true off grid experience. Very accurate to the listing, and the message sent of warnings of it being a jungle experience with bugs and a hike to get to. Definitely wouldn’t recommend trying to lug a suitcase or a lot of goods up to the treehouse. We did a river hike from the base camp with waterfalls and swimming pools that was the highlight of our two week trip. It’s an interesting place you’d be hard pressed to match elsewhere. Only negatives aren’t on the host or the property, if members of your group struggle with terrain they may have difficulty reaching the house. A decent 4x4 is also required to climb the hill as others have noted. We did see monkeys, snakes, and a ton of different birds. I would recommend to any adventure seekers.

Magical little get away.

Staying in this cottage is an extraordinary experience that we recommend to all nature lovers. We spent two incredible nights there in contact with the jungle. The cabin is very well equipped and comfortable with lots of charm. Our hosts took great care of us. Note that 4x4 and hiking shoes are essential in the rainy season to access this paradise!

Very good experience to sleep in the woods.

Our stay in this luxury canopy treehouse was “top” notch! This was an experience for our family that is unmatched by any of our other Costa Rica stays. We felt as though we were part of the beautiful nature that surrounded us, yet within comfortable living standards that allowed us to relax and spend quality family time together. It was clean, the kitchen had the necessary amenities for cooking, the sleeping areas were bug free, the bathrooms and showers were spacious along with plenty of hot water and water pressure. River playing was spectacular! The grounds keeper, Adrian, was quick to jump and welcome and guide us to our treehouse upon arrival. He ran to get forgotten needs (coffee) from the nearby store the first morning we woke up in the rainforest! Most significantly, our 4x4 vehicle did not make it back up the mountain road on our way out, we slipped off the hillside and got stuck! Adrian and his friend used their labor, tools, time and generosity to try to rescue our vehicle!
