Simply an incredible experience. We stayed at one of the further away lodges with the rope bridge linking both sleeping lodges. Beyond amazing! There was torrential rain when we arrived & the sun was going down. The remoteness and atmosphere made it like being in an Indiana Jones adventure! - Our kids (12 & 15) loved it (I'm so glad that it rained so heavily!!) We've travelled across Southern Africa in a 4x4 using a roof top tent and we thought to that was exciting - this, however, was another level of remoteness! Good tip. Near base camp there is an amazing river that you can swim in. It's very safe & a great temperature. If you're not into adventures & don't like bugs, then this is not for you. Otherwise you will love it! We stayed there for 2 nights & it was one of the highlights of our 2 week Costa Rica adventure!

Also es war ein absolutes Erlebnis so in der Natur einzutauchen. Das Solar war defekt und es wurde alles unkompliziert gelöst. Das kann halt passieren. Die Zuwegung geht wie beschrieben nur mit Allrad und Bodenfreiheit ist auch von Nöten. Der Wanderweg zum Baumhaus passt mit ca 20 Minuten und führt teilweise über angelegte loose Trittplatten. Mücken haben uns auch nicht gefressen, obwohl ein paar Fliegengitter Löcher hatten. Ob wir es nochmal buchen würden? Ja, auch wenn wir nicht ganz so viele Tiere gesehen haben wie gewünscht.👍

No lights or refrigeration after 7pm. Extremely limited hot water. Plan for cold showers. Constant incessant beeping alarm from a locked room under the house damaged the experience. Reported it to host after we departed as there was no way to communicate while in this off the grid home and they said they were sorry but it was out of their control. We asked if the alarm was related to the lack of electric power and they said they had no idea what was causing the alarm. Hate to give a less than positive review as the house is nice - the original concept of the group of homes interesting- but the noise was really pretty evil as I shared with the host. The entire compound is in significant decline. We were the only guests in this entire complex during this period. A recent landslide a few weeks back still blocks one of the main trails - trail maps are aspirational as most were overgrown and deteriorating in all ways. If they can’t confirm the alarm is solved do not go here.

Dieses Baumhaus ist etwas ganz spezielles. Man ist alleine, fernab der Zivilisation in einer Unterkunft mitten im Dschungel. Es gibt weit und breit nur Wald. Die Fahrt zum Parkplatz ist sehr abenteuerlich und ohne 4x4 unmöglich zu erreichen. Danach eine Wanderung durch den Dschungel über rutschige Wege. Es ist für die Aufenthaltsdauer zu empfehlen sämtliche Speisen und genügend Kleider mitzunehmen. Es ist sehr schwül und es trocknet nichts mehr. Wer Dschungel-Abenteuer sucht, der muss dies buchen.

Un endroit incroyable au milieux de la jungle, des cabanes que nous ne pourrons pas oublier. Amoureux de la nature il ne faut pas manquer cette expérience 🥰

Nice secluded spot up on the mountain, good location if you’re looking for a true off grid experience. Very accurate to the listing, and the message sent of warnings of it being a jungle experience with bugs and a hike to get to. Definitely wouldn’t recommend trying to lug a suitcase or a lot of goods up to the treehouse. We did a river hike from the base camp with waterfalls and swimming pools that was the highlight of our two week trip. It’s an interesting place you’d be hard pressed to match elsewhere. Only negatives aren’t on the host or the property, if members of your group struggle with terrain they may have difficulty reaching the house. A decent 4x4 is also required to climb the hill as others have noted. We did see monkeys, snakes, and a ton of different birds. I would recommend to any adventure seekers.
