I enjoyed staying at Evelyn's place and would definitely return next time I am in the area! The home is very welcoming and thoughtfully designed, the pool and outdoor space make it even better! Truly exceptional place to stay!

Lovely stay for our first time in Costa Rica. Potrero is quiet, you will need a vehicle to get to local places such as the supermarket and other restaurants, but still close to everything if you drive. The house is beautiful, and clean and we really enjoyed all the birds

Incredible stay! This is hands down the best-equipped accommodation we have ever been to. The hosts thought of absolutely everything, including uncommon amenities you don't usually find, like Bluetooth speakers and great pool accessories. The property is incredibly vast, the view is magnificent, and the kids absolutely loved the pool. We couldn't have asked for a better place. Highly recommended!

This place is pure tranquility. Just enough off the beaten path to feel secluded, and yet a 7 minute drive from the town, restaurants and beaches. We quickly learned to relax. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. There was beer and ice cold water waiting for our arrival. The pool was fabulous, and perfect to relax in and take the edge off the 38C days. We spent many hours enjoying nature. Bird life and iguanas are plentiful. Evelyn even picked up a copy of Birds of Costa Rica when she found out I loved birdwatching. I've left it there for future guests to enjoy, because it was so useful! We didn't see dogs, bit a very friendly cat dropped by on our last nigh,uch to our delight. Appreciate that part of the proceeds of this rental go towards dog rescue.

Absolutely gorgeous. Incredible stay, everything was perfect and would 100% recommend and stay here again. We spent hours in the infinity pool listening to the birds and watching the lizards run around. Will be dreaming of this place and can’t wait to be back.

A true haven of peace!

We loved it! The house is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and has everything you need for your stay. The exterior is also perfect. The pool is a real treat, with sun loungers and everything you need to relax (and with a lovely view!!) It is very close to several beaches, a restaurant area, and bars for drinks. In addition, they were very kind to us, providing the necessary directions to get there without any problems, and they were always helpful. Thank you so much, Evelyn and Manrique!! 🥰

Very nice place, close to the beaches, we really enjoyed the pool, a private and quiet place with all the amenities. Highly recommended!

It was totally worth it. It’s beautiful, just as it appeared in the photos. There are very nice beaches nearby, but you could also spend the whole day at the house listening to the birds and enjoying the peace and quiet by the pool. We were able to bring our dogs, and with all that space, they could explore, run around, and also relax. Evelyn and Manrique answered our questions immediately when we needed them. We would definitely go back a thousand more times.

You just can’t go wrong staying here! Great location to explore surrounding areas like Catalinas, brasilito and Tamarindo of course. Lots of stuff to do, beaches to visit and restaurants to explore. The house is sublime. From the moment you drive up you know it’s something special. Then you see the view and you know you scored! The house is stunning - just beautiful. The hosts are great, and the small touches they leave in the house makes you feel they truly care. A welcome drink, pool toys for the kids, binoculars for bird watchers, etc. Just fantastic people and a great property. I’ve stayed in dozens of airbnb’s and this one is by far in my Top 3. Enjoy this property if you can!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It’s absolutely beautiful, very private, and located close to some stunning beaches near Potrero. The social area is lovely and the pool is spectacular , the mornings there are especially peaceful and beautiful. The house is extremely comfortable, very clean, with great air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen that has everything you need. Overall, everything was very easy and comfortable during our stay. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in this area. Evelyn and Manrique were fantastic hosts , very attentive, friendly, and always available if we needed anything.

We stayed in a few places in Costa Rica, but our stay here felt the most at home. The kitchen is very well stocked and it made cooking easy for our longer stay. The pool was great and the location is quite convenient. Overall, we would stay here again and had an excellent time.

Beautiful house and outdoor space was beautiful! Short drive to beach but far enough away yo have quiet evenings!
