This was the perfect place for our large family gathering - so spacious and inviting! We especially enjoyed the swimming pool and the large round dining table for family meals. The place is truly stunning. The house is situated on Paseo Montejo, a lovely shady boulevard with museums, shops and some magnificent homes (plus a Walmart conveniently located across the street). It came to life at night after it cooled down. There is a lot to see and do, and we felt very safe in the neighborhood. We were taken care of by Gaby and her team, Celesta and Ivan. They kept the interior rooms and the pool area meticulously clean. Everyone was incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions or requests. 100% would stay again!

We felt right at home!! We brought Chamoy (the family dog) and he really felt at home. It seemed like he had been there before. It was a mini vacation for the whole family!! We really didn't have to go out to restaurants to eat in order to spend time together! We were enjoying ourselves and walking around the Zona, which we hadn't been able to do because of the traffic when we arrived at the hotel. (on the other side of the city). Gaby and Celeste were always attentive to the needs of the house. They supported us with what we needed, and Pia and Roberto (the hosts of the house) were attentive even before our arrival. 10/10 🌟 A Colonial-style stay! 🙌🏻

One of the most breathtaking places we have ever stayed. Casa Nalum is a true oasis. Incredible beauty and surroundings. Beach and lagoon access just steps from the house. We had the beach entirely to ourselves each day. We stayed with our extended family and this house was wonderful for hosting all ages. The whole team at Casa Nalum made hospitality and care their great priority. Laura arranged every detail to perfection. We chose to have meals provided through the home. Oscar, our chef, and Diego, our waiter and host, made sure we did not leave a meal hungry. Isabel and Ben made the home welcoming and tidy. Would love to visit again. Can’t recommend enough!!

Roberto's house is spectacular. Perfectly located, comfortable, beautiful, pleasant, with a very cool decoration and energy. I went with my family and my children were happy. The pool is large with water at the perfect temperature. Celeste keeps the house clean and Gaby helped us with everything we needed. It has a Walmart in front and Paseo de Montejo is a safe and beautiful street to walk. We really enjoyed our stay, on our next visit to Merida we will not hesitate to repeat if it is available.

The house is beautiful, the location is unbeatable, it has all the amenities and the rooms are mostly very nice. The gym is the only thing that didn't seem particularly outstanding to me. I'll be back and I highly recommend it.

It is a very nice and clean place, ideal to stay if you want to enjoy the Paseo Montejo area and have a pleasant time. The rooms are very nice and the house is very nice. The pool is amazing for the kids. Great place to spend a nice vacation.

Casa Tuut is a haven of peace. Beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and very tastefully decorated. Located in a central area, close to restaurants and shops, and very well connected. We were friends and family celebrating a birthday and I have to say that the celebration was a success thanks to Pia's recommendations and the wonderful banquet we organized with her help. Our thanks for a few days of absolute relaxation, extended to the house staff, always attentive and helpful and who kept the house impeccably clean. We'll be back without a doubt. It's the jewel of Merida. Thanks again.

The house is spectacular! Every room is lovely. We were a group of six and there was plenty of room for us to be inside or outside without being on top of one another. All of the furnishings and decor are gorgeous, and the pool is wonderful. The house is a nice walk to lots of the restaurants and other attractions of Merida, but happily not too close so it's still peaceful at night. Pia was so kind and helpful to us during out stay, and the staff are friendly and efficient as well. Don't miss this house!

What a magical place to stay for a large group in merida. The area is so safe and the home is PRISTINE! Daily cleaning, personalized recommendations. So much privacy in each room, felt like a boutique hotel. Amazing gathering spaces. Unique, interesting art. Laundry included. The location is slightly off from the Airbnb google maps location. No big deal for us but good to know. I wish I could stay in this type of lodging in every city. Our groups favorite airbnb :) The group was so easy to communicate with. We will definitely be returning.

Had the perfect stay at Roberto’s place. The home is perfected to the finest detail, it's like staying in a historical museum at the same time with comfort and all the accommodations you might need. Up-to-date AC units in all the bedrooms with comfortable beds. The house itself is spacious, freshly painted, and a work of art. My dog was also happy with all the space and comfort the home provided. I truly believe it's the best home in Centro Merida. The property managers were more than helpful with any of my inquiries, and I plan to return again in the near future. 10/10

Roberto’s place was great for our group of 9. Communication with the host was very fast and they were always available to help. Daily cleaning both inside the house and outside in the pool. Conveniently located across from Walmart for any grocery needs but also near many restaurants/bars. Would stay here again! Great decoration and styling.

Pía , Roberto , Gaby , Celeste and Ismael made us feel right at home. Always looking out for all our needs. Great location. Walkable distance to the top bars and restaurants. Best neighborhood right in the middle of all the action but once you are in the house it’s very private and quiet. Will definitely be back !

This place wins for setting, seclusion and staff. Pictures don’t do the beach and decks justice. It’s amazing! Yes, as everyone says the drive to the house through the reserve is a bit of a mess but all great things come with a price. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave everything is well thought out. From communication to any activities you may want, they help to handle it all. The house was always clean and we joked like Maria was a silent ninja cleaning up behind us. You never heard her but everything was perfectly taken care of. We had a cook for the entire time we were there which was well worth it. Three amazing fresh meals a day with fresh juices. We had dietary restrictions for several people and they took care of it all. They also arranged an amazing day visiting the ruins and two cenotes, one of which was a cave. That is an experience we will never forget. It was private, nerve racking and amazing all at once. Also the messages were wonderful!

An exceptionally beautiful home with a lovely curation of furniture, art, decor. Totally relaxing whether lounging inside or sitting out by the pool! Would absolutely recommend it for families or groups.

Perfect house in a beautiful location. Right across the street from Walmart and lots to do nearby. Wonderful Christmas dinner organized and privately cooked by a lovely chef, also did morning breakfasts for our family. Local wine merchant delivered wine and alcohol for the party. Great staff who was very helpful and knowledgeable of the activities and places to explore. Only disappointment the entire week was one bedroom did not have a fan or air conditioning on the ground floor. I would suggest the owner turn the second floor empty room into a bedroom or tv/movie room as it sat empty and undecorated. (Even a proper pullout couch would be better) The pool area tends to be overgrown and “messy” with leaves everyday. Hard to keep it clean and leaf free….the outdoor pool furniture is on the ground and could be updated and easier to clean and for maintenance. We had a really good time and wonderful visit. Merida has some great places to eat and lots of nice outdoor dining experiences

We were on holiday in Merida for my wedding, and my family and I stayed in Casa Tuut. The house is incredible. It is designed so beautifully and has everything you need. Location is perfect as well, with it being located on the main avenue of Paeso Montejo, it was a lovely stroll to the main streets of Merida Centro. My family also thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The only negative was having to leave such a beautiful place. I am hoping we will be back soon!! Roberto & Pia, are such lovely hosts, and gave us very useful information about the area and places to explore as well as being very helpful with any questions we had whilst we were there. Furthermore, the staff were super friendly and so helpful throughout our stay.

The stay exceeded any expectations we had!! The bed, sheets and pillows were so comfy, the pool and outside was such a dream! Communication and recommendations were spot on!! Maria, Ivan and Gabby were wonderful (Ivan worked outside and Maria was there every morning cleaning. The location couldn’t have been better!!

Overall the house is great and has a very nice vibe. All the bedrooms having their own bathrooms was nice to have for our large family staying at the house. The pool was nice. However, when the pool deck gets wet, it is slippery so the kids need to make sure to be careful. It was also nice having the small home gym out by the pool with A/C inside. One of the bedrooms for the house is like an ADU and you need to walk outside to get from that bedroom into the main house so make sure no one locks you out of the main house. It was for our trip a little logistically difficult to figure out the gate remote for the driveway as there is only one remote as we did have 2 vehicles and did different trips at different times. The hosts for the house were very nice and very helpful and easy to communicate with. Overall, this is a very nice house in Merida for those looking to travel there.

WOW! Stop looking and just book it. The location is amazing! You can walk to restaurants, coffee shops and there's a huge grocery store across the street. The home itself is incredible - like staying in a luxury boutique 5 star accommodation. It was the perfect combination of modern amenities with the old world charm of Merida! The backyard and huge pool are such a great unexpected surprise when you walk out into the backyard. I can't say enough good things about this place and the hosts!

Our stay was excellent, everything in the photos is as is . Doña Mari and Don Ivan who are supportive in the house are wonderful and very helpful people. We felt like we were at home. The house is super comfortable with a very nice decoration. The best location impossible, we loved everything, our stay was perfect. Perfect house to stay when you are away from home until our dog was stumbling, we can't ask for more.

The BEST option if you plan to visit Merida with friends and/or family. In the best area of Merida. The house is very comfortable, Roberto's service was excellent, always available to help or for anything you need. It has parking of its own and you can also walk along the best street in Merida, finding the best restaurants the city has to offer at short distances.

Casa TUUT this divine, the photos can't show how beautiful it is, all the rooms are cozy and have a super rich bed where we all rest wonderful, really the house is impeccable, the house has many services and they offer you extra services. We ask for the service of the Chef, super recommended, all delicious and excellent service. When we go back to Merida, we will return to Casa TUUT, apart from Roberto the host always attentive and if anything was offered, he would respond immediately. The whole family was delighted with the stay, apart from the fact that the location could not be better!!

We have visited Merida many times, and Roberto’s home was by far the best Airbnb in the area. The home is spacious, beautifully decorated, and has a great pool and outdoor area. It’s in one of the best areas of the city for both walking and activities. Best of all, Roberto’s team is kind, responsive, and hardworking. I would not hesitate to book again, and highly recommend.

The space exceeded expectations, presenting itself larger than the pictures let me understand. During our resort we had an accident with a child who was part of the group and the owners were extremely careful in indicating the best hospital and were attentive to needs. Casa Nalum is an extraordinary place to stay. My dear friend of 30 years and our respective families met up at the house to discover that the houses signature symbol matches the matching tattoos we've had on our backs for the last 28 years. So it felt fortuitous. The stunningly designed home is nestled in the UNESCO biosphere and staffed by Laura, Fernando,Maria, Oscar and Miguel all of whom are incredibly kind, thoughtful and accommodating. We had thought we would cook for ourselves while visiting, but Oscar's cooking and Don Fernando's generosity of spirit convinced us that it was okay to be taken care of while on vacation. We gazed at stars, walked on the beach, swam in the ocean and pool and deeply enjoyed one another's company in a place that felt incredibly generous. When our rental car key stopped functioning while we were at a far flung Cenote, Laura helped us trouble shoot and called our rental car company to resolve our situation. Our entire stay was extraordinary!

Casa Tuut is simply beautiful. Roberto and Pia have lovingly restored, furnished and cared for this home. Every room was not only spotless but so lovely and comfortable. There are 4 King size bedrooms (en suite) in the main house plus one Queen bedroom in the pool house. That room is perfectly comfortable and of a nice size. There was a problem with the AC units in the bedrooms when we first arrived but Pia and Roberto persisted until they got a repairman there at 6 pm on a Friday and every AC unit worked perfectly. Note there is only AC in the bedrooms, which is typical, but the living areas were very comfortable in the evenings without AC. The pool is very nice and by the end of the day the water was so warm it was just wonderful to swim. Roberto checked in frequently to make sure everything was operating smoothly which is important with a property of that size. Very considerate. I’m pretty picky but I’d love to stay there again if I visit Merida.

This beachfront villa is about 30 minutes outside of Tulum, and located inside UNESCO Biosphere reserve, Sian Ka'an. It is absolutely stunning, with a private pool, sandy lounge areas, indoor-outdoor bathrooms, a partially covered rooftop, and enormous interior living areas with a raise palapa-style thatched roof. The home comes with a villa manager, housekeeper, and chef. If you want to experience what Tulum used to be like 30 or 40 years ago, stay at Villa Nalum. It is simply gorgeous and the location is unparalleled -- The barrier reef is at swimming distance, and the lagoon located at the back of the property brings you to ancient Mayan canals. We enjoyed miles of pristine beaches to ourselves. Thank you Roberto, Pia, and the whole staff for being attentive and welcoming. We will definitely come back!

This was an amazing stay. We were 8 guys celebrating a bachelor party and from the time of arrival we were treated with utmost care and attention. The live-in staff made a huge difference as they cleaned up and tended to our every need. Flor, the house host, was next level and very pleasant to work with. The house is set not too far from the beach town in the Sian Kaan preserve and you can't beat the beachfront location. We had a lot of wind during our stay which would be the only negative because the living room is open to the elements. We had a chef on the last night who also made us great cocktails. We will be trying to make it back with the wives very soon!

Amazing house on a secluded private beach. The description and pictures were very accurate and we were not disappointed! Also the property manager was very responsive and great at helping us arrange transportation into town. The house staff, Maria and Luis, were on site to clean the apartment and help us with anything we needed. All around an amazing trip and would definitely look to stay again! The only negative is it a bit far from town, but we were able to get cabs with Liz’s help without issue.

You will have a hard time finding a better place than this, loved every moment. Got the privacy we wanted, had such a relaxing holiday. Tips for you: rent a jeep, remember there is no freezer or microwave... and the bathroom is a jungle lol It was all on all awesome.

Casa Nalum is a true gem. We stayed three nights on a girl's trip, and everyone was devastated to leave. Erika was so warm and hospitable, and extremely responsive any time I had a question for her. Luis and Maria (the onsite staff) were wonderful! At one point, we were trying to open up some coconuts we found on the beach (rather unsuccessfully), and Luis noticed, and said he'd take care of it for us. He ended up coming back with 6 coconuts, cracked open with a straw! It that level of detail and thoughtfulness that made our stay so great. The accommodations are beautiful. We all commented that the pictures do not do it justice! And falling asleep every night to the sound of the ocean is incredible. I don't have enough good things to say about staying here... The ONLY negative feedback is the road from Tulum to Casa Nalum. It's a bit challenging, and also made us re-think our plans to leave for town as much as we had originally planned. If your plan on staying mostly at Casa Nalum, this is perfect! Otherwise, just make sure to get an SUV so you can navigate the roads easily. Can't wait to go back one day!

The house and the location is amazing, you have a private beach just in front and total privacy. It is beautifully furnished and has several outdoor terraces. We had the joy of experiencing baby turtles at night, crawling towards the sea and had a wonderful meal made by one of the chefs connected to the house. The staff is very nice and accomodating.

Casa Nalum was a wonderful place to stay for a perfect bachelorette weekend getaway. It was everyone's first time in Tulum and we lucked out with the beautiful property and Irene (property manager). Irene was extremely helpful in getting our cenote tour, airport transportation and daily taxi transportation set up. There were two onsite house managers who helped us chase away animals, keep the bugs away, cleaning, and providing fresh towels every day. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

Casa Nalum was really the best of both worlds -- isolated, private, exclusive on one hand, but only 5 km to the entrance to the Biosphere and the "strip". By far superior to a hotel. The staff and Irene were incredible. They cooked for us some incredible meals, helped us get places and were responsive even in the middle of the night or very early morning after a late night out. What a dream!! We just stayed few days at this location for a bachelor party, it is unreal. The house is gorgeous, with a private beach and no one around. The beds are comfy and spacious, the rooms are extremely pleasant and different from one another. The living room is spacious and super equipped! We had breakfast every morning on the terrasse, and evening drinks on the upper terrasse with a beautiful view of the stars. The organization with Sarah went very well. We were received by Irene who took care of us few days before we arrived and until we left. She was very helpful and a true happy spirit. The staff, Luis and Jovis, were really great. We barely noticed them and the house and rooms were always tidy. Luis even cooked barbecue for us the last night! Thank you for this beautiful experience, for the drinks in the pool, for the farniente on the beach! Highly recommended retreat.

The house is right in front of one of the best stretches beaches of the world. Roberto was very communicative and helpful during the process and the staff always made sure the house was spotless. what a great stay.

The location and setting of Casa Nalum are out of this world... The house is amazing, the view breath taking. You have your private caribbean beach right in front of the house, secluded and unspoiled. Roberto is very friendly and welcoming and we felt comfortable right away.
