A great place for large groups. The common areas are comfortable and spacious. Somehow the house is divided so that as a group you can share and at the same time have privacy. The kitchen is very complete! You don't need to bring anything other than your food because they have all the condiments you need. The location is good because it's close to the area with supermarkets and grocery stores nearby. Uber works well, and in our case, we wanted comfort over being more cramped in the lagoon. Very good service 💖

My family group of 15 people was very comfortable in the house. It's quite large enough to accommodate everyone. The kitchen is very large and very well equipped. The pool is private, and there's a washer and dryer. Alejandro, the manager, was very kind in explaining the place and the rules. Overall, everything was excellent and I highly recommend it, especially for large groups. Thank you.

I had a family vacation at this air bnb and it it was amazing. The space is very big and spacious. The kitchen was perfect to host family dinners and breakfast. The outdoor area was clean and the pool was perfect for entertainment. There’s speakers indoors and outdoors to set the mood with music. One bedroom had a private restroom and the there’s community showers and restrooms for the rest of the guests. The decor was modern and very nice. The bed rooms were cozy and had lots of closet shelves. The host provided a jug of fresh water which was great. My family had an amazing time thank you for letting us stay here!

Good place for large groups.

It really is an amazing house. Spacious rooms with large beds. Perfect for large groups. The pool area and the terrace invite you to spend time on the property. A very spacious kitchen, which is very important to me. You can also find all the cooking utensils, a coffee machine, and a very large refrigerator. It feels like a home and not like a rental property.

A very nice place to be with family and friends. The kitchen area is heated, which makes it even more comfortable.

The place is very comfortable and peaceful; the pool area is beautiful, with lots of vegetation and nice furniture. The host was very responsive and kept the pool clean every morning.

We enjoyed our stay in Bacalar very much. The home was clean and spacious for our family of 6 and the outdoor area with the pool was great for relaxing. We enjoy walking to restaurants and shops when we travel and the house was in a great location. Alejandro was very attentive and kind and his wife Sonia helped us book a Lagoon tour, which we really appreciated.

Gracias Alejandro! This house is amazing and the kitchen is a big highlight. Not having en-suite bathrooms wasn’t really a problem because the living areas are so amazing! Was quite expensive, but such a pleasure to stay in and cook and save that way :) thanks familia Cataluyd!

We had a wonderful time at Calatayud's house. The house has a large functional and well-equipped kitchen, as well as a very well arranged outdoor area with a large table for eating by the pool. The garden is very well maintained. There is also a laundry area with washing machine and dryer which is very nice. We had a large van that we were able to park outside in front of the house without any problems. I highly recommend Calatayud's house whether for a stay with family or friends.

The house, the pool is very good, great place to stay. The only detail is that they offer indoor parking in the ad and it is not like that, we had to park on the street, it is a quiet street but that does not eliminate the risk

Excellent accommodation for a group due to the diverse and spacious spaces, as well as the amenities and equipment. Very good and attentive service from the person in charge who received us, explained the operation and was always attentive to what was offered to us.

The house was superb, very quiet, clean and perfectly equipped. The pool and outdoor facilities are very well maintained, a real plus to fully enjoy the stay. The shops in the immediate vicinity are very convenient, and we were surprised to meet the little mascot of the place, an adorable turtle that came to ask for food. The on-site caretaker really facilitates the welcome and makes the organization easier. And the cherry on top: the pressure in the showers, a real luxury in Mexico! The hosts are very available and attentive. I highly recommend this little haven of peace for a pleasant stay without any unpleasant surprises.

Great! The house is quite spacious, kitchen rooms, although the bathrooms and showers are separate, it works quite comfortably for large groups. The pool is great and nice. Everything you need for a good stay. A few minutes from downtown, it is advisable to bring transportation. There are grocery stores nearby. Keep in mind that you are in the middle of the jungle so insects will be present. Check beds and objects well before using them, even though the house is quite clean. If you are traveling with people with limited mobility or small children, please be aware that the property has multiple (each space) uneven surfaces, so please be careful. Overall, we had a very comfortable few days.

A great place for large family trips and everything is excellent

Simply spectacular, the house is super spacious, super cozy, all rooms have air conditioning, it has all the necessary utensils to prepare a roast meat to cook for everyone. The house is simply spectacular. I appreciate the attention of Mr. Alejandro and the family who owns the house. I'm sure I'll be back soon.

The house is perfect for groups of up to 12 people. The kitchen is spectacular and has everything (pots, pans, refrigerator, blender, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, large stove, glasses, plates and more). The only detail is that 5 of the 6 bedrooms have to share 4 bathrooms and 4 showers if you take into account the one in the service room (By the way, you can wash clothes). The above can be a bit uncomfortable because there is only one sink. The house is great, I would definitely come back. We are a swimming team that attends the open water marathon held in Bacalar, so we hope to return to the Mast house the following year.

Fantastic house! The house is as shown in the pictures and so spacious! we were between 9 and 11 people during the days we were there and it all worked very well! Alejandro was incredibly kind and helpful! Before we arrived, I always had my questions answered swiftly and everyone was very attentive. All you can need can be found very close to the house, absolutely everything! And even if the house is not located in the heart of the town, it is extremely close to the main square so we walked back and forth all the time. Will always recommend! Thank you so much!

We had a really nice stay in the house. Everything was more or less as described and in the pictures. Alejandro made sure the outdoor area was always nice and clean. It was really nice that it was possible to get help if we needed it, but it wasn't necessary. Even though he didn't speak English, the communication went fine with the help of phones. There were nice linens and clean towels, as well as bath towels for all guests. The freezer was filled with ice and there was so much water we could drink. We can definitely recommend the house to others.

Had a great experience A little pricey but I guess worth it, very private and secure feeling, our host was great kept everything neat and clean around the pool. He even took our laundry to the laundromat.

This place is just perfect, clean and very calm. Nice swimming pool cleaned everyday. Kitchen is big and well equipped, there are stores and restaurants in walking distance. Our host was very professional and very helpful. We really enjoyed this stay and we were waiting for the evening to chill on sofas in the chill area next to the pool.

The place is given to you very clean and all tidy, they receive it as the photos look. The Calatayud family is always on the lookout for everything and answering any doubts you may have. Alejandro, who is in the housekeeper, is very friendly and cordial. He is always on top of everything. We were 11 friends and the 11 are leaving very happy from the place. A quiet accommodation, to enjoy the space as a family, very nice space! Mr. Alejandro was always attentive!

Amazing place! Private and great for big groups. There is 1 room with an en suite but the rest had the shared showers and toilets. The bedding is incredibly soft! Large kitchen and eating area which is great for the mornings. We loved the pool and jacuzzi area which was lovely in the evenings! I wish we had spend more time here! Only a 15 min walk into the centre square with lots to do.

There were 5 of us plus a 2 month old baby on this trip. The house is beautiful and very spacious. We especially loved the outdoor space that is literally an oasis of beauty. The pool, jacuzzi, seating areas and landscaping come together to create a perfect space. The lake is about ten minutes away. Restaurants and bar area is actually walkable. We loved this rental and would return without hesitation.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. With so many boutique hotels around, it’s so nice to be able to have the entire place to your self and the privacy that comes with it. I hope it stays that way. The house was perfect four our family, and Alejandro is such a wonderful and helpful host. We would definitely come back and stay here.

The Calatayud family's place in Bacalar was impeccably clean and just as featured in the photos! We had a lovely stay. It was perfect for our large family. Note that, as listed, the bathrooms and showers are communal. This didn't hamper our stay in any way, however. the kitchen was large and well equipped for cooking and barbecuing. Alejandro, the caretaker, was friendly and readily available during our stay. The host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.
