Loved Casa Mayaland. It was a secluded oasis where we could come back from the beach, hang out in the pool, have some drinks, great conversation, make dinner and just chill. It was beautiful and located on the quieter side of the island. Which allowed us to go and to end and experience the whole of isla mujeres🏝️🐠🦩

We will treasure our memories from our 8 nights at Casa Mayaland. We loved the location tucked back off the main roads and the easy walk to the trail alongside the ocean for sunrises towards Punta Sur each day. The best part was the reprieve that the beautiful pool area provided from the heat and humidity of the midday. We loved eating outside at the long table and also appreciated the air conditioning for sleeping comfortably. Definitely recommend getting a golf cart. Montse was very kind and helpful connecting us to the whale shark tour (amazing experience but also rough for those who get seasick). We enjoyed Kin Ha beach club nearby. The coffee bus around the corner is sweet. The Joint had great mojitos. Green Verde, La Lomita, Mango Cafe, fun atmosphere at Samura. So many special memories made. Beautiful sunset at Playa Norte. World Cup games at Snappers. All in all a truly relaxing vacation!

An elegant stay with incredible outside spaces and max comfort while indoors. Woukd be amazing for a small group who wants time at home enjoying a laid back and relaxing experience.

This property, managing staff and Mariana are the total package. We coordinated grocery delivery (fridge stocked before arrival), golf cart delivery in our driveway, and also a bday cake delivery. The concierge service was top notch. The included cleaning service for our stay was top notch. We enjoyed grilling almost every evening by the pool. Internet was fast. The surroundings felt safe. We loved our stay. Mariana was exceptionally responsive. Thank you for hosting our family.

After a dozen trips to Isla, we finally decided on an airbnb vs hotel. Casa Mayaland was perfect! Having the option to cook and grill at the house saved some money, and we were able to pack less because of the washer and dryer. We felt very safe and secure, and the house had everything we needed (ample towels, coolers, cooking equipment, spices, etc.)

When we got there our refrigerator wasn't working which was no big deal as we wanted to go out to our favorites places to eat right away. But it was replaced fast. The outside area was very nice! It was a great place to come to relax after exploring the island

This place was absolutely beautiful! Loved everything about it! Our family enjoyed the private pool and hottub each evening. Even had a bbq one evening. Felt like home and by far one of the best host have ever dealt with start to finish. Had a mishap injury during our stay and host communicated and offered help every step of the way. 100% recommend and will return!

We had a wonderful stay at Mariana's place. It is very well equipped and comfortable, feels cozy, and has everything you might need. Arrival is easy, check-in was very quick, and we really enjoyed the welcome gifts that were waiting for us. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Isla Mujeres!

A beautiful gem of a property. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and in great condition. Plenty of patio furniture and lovely outdoor spaces to gather and chill out. All of the outdoor areas are completely private and very quiet. Meticulously cared for, beautifully furnished, and decorated with everything you could ever need and everything in great condition. The washer/dryer and the blender aren’t something you find in every rental. Great plumbing, water pressure, thoughtfully placed lights and furniture. Comfortable beds with nice linens and plenty of pillows. The location down near Punta Sur does take a long time to get to, and the side streets can be very rough in a golf cart! So just be forewarned. Mariana was a lovely hostess, very accommodating, and we would absolutely return to this property in the future!

Casa mayaland was the perfect getaway for our family of five. The casita comfortably housed our teenager leaving plenty of room for the other kids and us. The pool and hot tub was pristine and relaxing with water feature and beautiful nightlights. We made a delicious dinner in the well equipped kitchen and large beautiful island. We dined under the palapa listening to the palm trees and the sounds of nature. The south side of the island is quieter with easy access to what is, in our opinion, the most Beautiful part of Isla Mujeres. True five-star cuisine exists on the island including Mar-cello fish market and Rancho Capricho. Our host, Marianna, made sure that all travel logistics, golf cart, and the ins and outs of her beautiful home were communicated with warmth and detail. The inhabits of the island are among the kindest and friendliness we have encountered. Finally, the guacamole kit waiting for us at the home on our arrival was second to none!! We will be back!

Absolutely perfect. The property is even better than the pictures and you couldn’t ask for a better location. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen as we wanted to cook in a few nights and grill by the pool side. Mariana is a great host, super easy going a quick to respond. We plan to rebook with Mariana again next year!

Casa Mayaland was everything we could have imagined for relaxing and enjoying an authentic Mexican home experience. We felt right at home and very safe. Mariana is so kind & helpful. Guacamole bowl was amazing. The beds were very comfortable! The waterfall over the pool is a brilliant addition as it eliminated neighbours’ noise, early morning dogs & roosters etc. Shaded pool area is much more spacious than it appears in the photos. Hot tub was lovely! Beaches & ocean were warm & amazing. It was truly wonderful. We cannot wait to return! Nearby restaurants were all outstanding for food & service & experience: El Rancho, El Burracho Burro, Ulan, Areia, & Samura (sushi!).

My husband and I have been to the island several times and this place was AMAZING! We had high expectations with the awesome reviews and it exceeded them. It is so spacious and so relaxing. You have everything you need to make the stay peaceful. The welcome kit of guacamole was great and we had such a great time we all said we would want to come back to this space again. ❤️

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless, well stocked, and incredibly comfortable. We were able to check in early, which was such a nice bonus, and were greeted with a beautiful fresh guacamole basket and cold XX beers — such a thoughtful touch from our host. The pool, hot tub, and patio area felt like a true oasis and a perfect escape from the busy downtown. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much!

Cannot recommend this place enough! The house was exactly as described with all working amenities- the perfect place for a group of friends or family to hangout and relax! Our group had so much fun for our stay! Every single person gushed about this being the perfect airbnb set up and how we would absolutely stay here again! Mariana was extremely friendly, responded quickly and honestly..was overall the best host i’ve had with airbnb or any stay i’ve been at. Not one single complaint, everything was absolutely wonderful! Mariana goes above and beyond, without a doubt. 1000/10 stay!

This place was so beautiful!! Mariana responded quick and accommodated our arrival time after our flight got delayed. The place was clean with a lot of amenities! Loved the washer and dryer which also came with detergent and softener. The guacamole was good as well!

We had a great time at Mayaland! It's the best place we've ever stayed on the Island, and we've stayed at many places as we visit several times a year. We were greeted by Mariana with a homemade guacamole kit - so good with all the fresh ingredients (you can also order them to be delivered anytime!) It's very private and peaceful, roomy, clean, jacuzzi works excellent, wonderful pool in the huge outdoor area (including kitchen area). Mariana is the BEST host! Very kind, welcoming and responds almost immediately if we had a question about anything. Our flight was delayed for 8 hours, and Mariana let us stay for a few more hours at no charge! We realize and understand that she was able to do this because no one's checking in that afternoon.. But still, it's a huge added plus when hosts try to help (most we encounter do not!) and Mariana is different, and we can't thank her enough! We'll be back again and will definitely choose this place as our first choice! 10 STARS

Mariana's place was amazing for our trip with two couples. The home has absolutely everything you need for a stay on the island. Upon arrival we were greeted by Mariana herself and with a guacamole kit which hit the spot after a long travel day. You could also order the kit via delivery during your stay. The home was very clean and the hot tub was our favourite! We also liked the location as it was not only beautiful but peaceful and private. It was about a 15 minute golf cart drive from the main beach. We all loved our stay and our only regret is not staying longer! We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay in Mariana’s beautiful home. We had three young children in our group, so it was perfect for us to be on the quieter end of the island (only 10/15 min taxi to Playa Norte/downtown). The outdoor pool and kitchen area was great for us and looked exactly like the photos! Idyllic! All beds were very comfortable and bathrooms immaculate. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need. We loved Rancho Capricho restaurant for tacos and cocktails - several minutes walk from the house. Please note that many restaurants & bars in Punta Sur close early during low season! But there is plenty to do within walking distance, and a great way to see the whole island is by golf cart. Thanks Mariana for our stay and for being such a helpful & responsive host throughout!

Such a Peaceful place to stay. Being enclosed in the backyard Oasis with the pool and Jacuzzi and then take a quick golf cart ride to the beach!! We will be back soon

The stay in Mayaland was outstanding, the home is beautiful and after a day wandering the island is the perfect place to relax. We did not use all the amenities like the outdoor kitchen because we were trying all the restaurants near and far, the pastries at Chedraui are a must purchase. Rancho Capricho a short walk from the home has the best breakfasts and tacos. We used the pool everyday with the heat of Isla this was a blessing. You must have mosquito repellant a local taxi driver told us they are here all year round, we even purchased citronella burner coils for the outdoor space which helped. Mariana thank you for the warm welcome when we got to the island and keeping us informed , the pool and garden people were respectful came in the morning and left after doing their job. We appreciated this so much. We will return again !!!!

Mariana was such a great host. Everything was perfect. She helped accommodate us even when our flight plans changed. Her homemade guacamole was amazing. Definitely try it.

Casa Mayaland was amazing. It is such a great space and really felt like a home away from home. Very spacious, welcoming and clean. The beds were so comfortable. Our hostess Mariana was so sweet, friendly and always available. She met us at the house and gave us a quick tour of the house and pointed out the little details of what we might need. We would definitely go back!!! We already miss the island and the casa! We highly recommend Casa Mayaland!

Mayaland was a lovely place, to stay. The surroundings were peaceful and private, yet only a 15min drive/ride with a golf cart to the centro. Swimming pool and jacuzzi were fantastic, and the whole outside space has a great atmosphere that instantly relaxes. Living areas were spacious With everything you need. Hosts were great, with help and suggestions for trips and local restaurant recommendations. Would highly recommend, and would love to come back.

We absolutely loved this property! It was perfect for 6 adults. The house is spacious and spotless and the outdoor area was perfect for grilling, pool time and dinner/drinks/games. The pool and hot tub were just as pictured. Lots of little touches to welcome us. Highly recommend - would 10/10 stay here again.

An amazing place to stay while in Isla Mujeres! Great outdoor area with hot tub, pool and grilling area. The house has everything you need. It is close to restaurants and bars on the south end of the island but provides plenty of privacy.

Loved our stay here! Extremely private and we appreciated how far away it was from the hustle and bustle of the city center. We rented a golf cart all week and had so much fun driving around the island. At one point we walked around our neighborhood and found some fun restaurants and beautiful views. Definitely check out Punta Sur and pay the admission fee for the park. Absolutely stunning views. We stayed with two toddlers and the pool and space was great for us to play in and move after a day out. A/C worked great. Filtered water was a helpful feature of the home. Jan Carlos was super responsive and helpful when suggesting restaurants and activities and he helped book a taxi for us when we were leaving.

We’ve stayed in many houses on Isla Mujeres for the last 15 years - this was one of the most lovely experiences. The outdoor situation is just perfect

I booked this Airbnb for my bachelorette weekend and it totally delivered. We loved hanging in the amazing courtyard and the house was comfortable and spacious. The only thing was the hot tub, once we figured it out it was fine, but you have to keep pressing the jets in order for it to heat up so it takes quite a while to get warm enough. But it was super nice after about 20 mins 👍🏻

The team at Casa Mayaland was outstanding. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We highly recommend staying here and we will be back.

We loved everything about Casa Mayaland! The outdoor space was beautiful! Private, secluded and very shady with just the right amount of sunshine peaking through. The location was great! Walkable to Coffee Bus, Kin-Ha, and a few other restaurants as well as a great place to watch the sunrise over the ocean on the Caribbean side of the island. We would definitely stay here again!

Casa Mayland is a paradise on a beautiful island! One of the nicer properties I have stayed at on the island. The peaceful sanctuary is perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of playa Norte. The southern area of the island has really grown since I was there last with bars & restaurants in walking distance of the Airbnb. Only concern is the Mexican flannel moth caterpillars, they leave quite the sting. Don’t touch. Would stay again!

I absolutely loved this place! I stayed here with my family (including an infant and toddler) and the whole house was fully equipped as described. It was in a great private location. if there were any issues they would quickly respond and send someone out to make sure everything was okay. I would definitely book this place again. The house was beautiful!!

We loved Casa Mayaland!!!! Great house, great pool, and great location ! I would not hesitate to book again! If your booking this house you will want a golf cart or scooters for sure. The only issue we had was the washing machine did not work, we told the property manager and he was very apologetic. These things happen.....

Great house in a nice peaceful area. Loved the pool and hot tub. The casita was nice to have for those that want their own space. The deck needs some repairs but while we were there they were already bringing in new boards to replace it so it’s on the owners radar and shows they are taking the steps to maintain the house.

Casa Mayaland was perfect for our family! It was a beautiful home with everything we needed. Well-stocked kitchen (even a rice cooker and crockpot), beautiful pool and hot tub, comfortable beds. Great communication and help with golf cart rental and taxis. Plenty of fresh water provided. 23 minute golf cart ride to Playa Norte, Super close to Rancho Capricho (amazing shrimp and vegetarian tacos) and Punta Sur.

We truly loved our stay at Mayaland. The south side of the island is quieter with more of a getaway feeling. The pool and hot tub felt luxurious and I personally loved the visits from the friendly neighborhood cat. An incredible value, we'd love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay. The back yard truly is a tropical oasis.The hot tub saved our trip when a cold front passed through. Our 1 & 3 yo boys enjoyed the pool daily. We felt right at home and really liked the vibe of this property. The dirt roads getting to it are a little bumpy but well worth being off the main road, felt very safe and private. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to prepare meals at home. We also liked spending the day at KinHa a couple blocks away, which has a little water slide and pool kids can use if you eat a meal there. (Also paddle boards and swim up bar for adults). We were here a week and felt like that was a good amount of time but could continue to explore as there are so many good restaurants and the playa Norte is easy to spend a whole day at. Definitely rent a golf cart, we used it every day for exploring and getting groceries. We visited one of the islands nice and very clean public parks with our young kids on Calle Cherna. Note: hours are 5pm-10pm

Wonderful place, would book again!

Casa Mayaland is a beautiful escape from everyday life. The patio and pool area provide a lush oasis away from the hustle bustle of the main tourist areas. The roof area is great for viewing stars, distant thunderstorms and beautiful sunrises. And most importantly, the mattresses are fabulous! Additionally, the concierge is readily available through text for recommendations and any situation that may arise. We definitely will return on our next trip to Isla Mujeres.

The place was beautiful & perfect for us. Pool was cleared of flower petals daily by crew, which was nice because the wonderful surrounding blooming trees dropped a lot of petals. Kitchen was very well stocked, linens clean, beds comfortable, and lots of towels (thank you!) for bath and beach. AC units were perfect & quickly cooled rooms when turned on, which was nice because I always turn them off when leaving for the day, however I do leave the fans on. As a result, there was never any musty smell upon our return. Alejandro was responsive to all needs and Jan Carlos very helpful when we got a little bit lost upon arrival. We totally loved our stay and relaxed and enjoyed the beaches. Also, Punta Sur is a must and we recommend walking along the sidewalks by the sea.

Absolutely beautiful! A truly relaxing oasis. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked to bake/make anything. Quiet area away from the bustle of the north end. Spacious bedrooms & bathrooms. I would recommend without any hesitation

Mayaland was a beautiful secluded oasis in punta sur! We loved the location with being able to walk to some restaurants and day clubs and also carted into playa Norte quickly. We were surrounded by other beautiful houses and felt super safe. Our check in was seamless even though my travel got delayed by an entire day. Our POC, Jan, was incredibly responsive and super helpful… even arranged for our taxis to pick us up for our departure. The house was pristine. We loved the pool and hot tub and used it daily. The little cottage (MIL suite) was such a cool addition and came in handy for all of us. We easily got to playa Norte and every morning we walked across to the beach and watched the sunrise. We absolutely loved it. Will definitely stay here again!

If you’re looking for a place to relax, this is the place to be. Had everything you need from pool, hot tub, all the kitchen gadgets, towels, and more. Would definitely come back here again! Jan Carlos checked us in and recommended all the great places to eat, was very responsive when we needed anything and can’t thank him enough! Great place

This was an awesome, relaxing place! It was a super clean, beautiful home located away from everything, so it was nice and quiet. We loved spending time in the pool after a long hot day in the sun. 10/10 would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet, private getaway. It is really close to Punta Sur, and Garrafon de castilla, so that is a Plus!

This might be my #1 Airbnb experience ever. When you book sight unseen, you expect to be at least a little disappointed vs. the picture- NOT HERE. This place is even better than it looks in pictures. I was blown away by how beautiful, private, clean, and well appointed it was. The house had everything. The outdoor kitchen was amazing, the indoor kitchen had everything- I mean, even a waffle maker! The house is beautifully furnished, and the kitchen and all three full bathrooms are super modern and clearly very well cared for. The washer & dryer were great to have on a tropical vacation. I don't think the roof terrace was even mentioned in the photos/ad, and it was an amazing surprise- gorgeous views of sunrise and sunset. One morning I was up there having coffee and three wild peacocks came to visit with me! We had an issue one day with the water, and they came right away and set it right. AND- no massive list at the end, we tidied up a bit, but they literally took care of everything.

This house was amazing to stay at! Great communication at check in and throughout our trip. We received timely responses and even had a golf cart dropped off at the house for us. The home is beautiful and has plenty of space. The outdoor/ pool area is amazing! So beautiful and peaceful. Two amazing restaurants close by, a taco shop and borracho burro. There’s also a convenient store next to the taco place. There are pharmacies close by as well. Garrafon Castillo the cheaper place is an amazing place to spend a day as well. Is within walking distance or a short golf cart trip away. Also, a nice drive down the eastern coast with beautiful views are just a street away.

Beautiful home and very responsive host. The outdoor pool area was stunning, especially at night when the colorful lights were on. Home is well equipped, and there wasn’t anything that we lacked. Be mindful that you are on a small island that is still being developed. The island had power issues (at no fault on the hosts) but the hosts and admin team were quick to communicate and very kind. They had a good property management team that would check on our needs to make things right when needed. Would highly recommend. Located in the south, more peaceful part of the island.

This place was definitely a hidden gem. We have stayed at other places on the island but this was are favorite by far. Home is clean, spacious and very private. The beds were all very comfortable, kitchen was great and the outside area is beautiful. Rooftop view is great as well. We had a night of heavy rain which caused the power to go out but it came back within a few hours. Also had an issue where the water was turned off to the house but they got somebody over within 10 minutes and quickly fixed the problem. The communication was awesome throughout. Every question or problem we had was answered within minutes and somebody came right over. We will definitely stay here again.

My family and I spent 5 days at Casa Mayaland. It was absolutely incredible, the house was clean and tidy. The staff was very generous in helping us arrange transportation to and from ferry as well as around the island. Cannot say enough good things about Isla Mujeres and now Casa Mayaland. House very comfortable for staying with a child as well. We will be back!

Casa Mayaland is a true retreat, offering just the peace we were looking for. Totally private and safe with only the birds to hear, singing throughout the day. Our host was kind and super fast with communication. When we needed help with a burned out pilot light she sent someone right over. We rented a golf cart for the week and although the dirt roads to the house were a bit torn up and rocky, we managed with our daily trips to the beaches and restaurants. Depending which part you go to, Playa Norte and downtown are about a 16-20 minute golf cart ride. We loved Punta Sur though and everyday we watched the sunrise and did yoga on the grassy cliff that’s a 1 minute walk from the house. We soaked in the hot tub daily, cuddled the local kitty, cooked on the perfectly seasoned cast iron skillet, enjoyed the cool AC and big kitchen, enjoyed the cozy beds, soft towels, and pillows and just breathed in the salty fresh air. The weather was perfect all week and I t really was paradise!!

MUST STAY HERE. This place is a hidden gem. The pictures do not do it justice!!! It is truly a million times more beautiful in person. Plus, extra amenities like washer/dryer and a cozy little bungalow by the pool that can host 1-2 people. The location is perfect. It’s on the south side of the island, which we loved how quiet and safe it felt. Last but not least, Jennifer our concierge was absolutely amazing!!!! She was so attentive, communicative and helpful, went above and beyond to accommodate us! Would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here.

We stayed at Gabriela’s house for 4 nights, we are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The house is very charming and well equipped. The best part is outside, a little oasis where it’s never too hot. Really nice to hang out there and enjoy the pool and hot tub. The villa is on the south part of the island, which we really enjoyed. A lot more quiet than the northern part. However, you will definitely need a golf cart to get around. There is a very nice beach just a short walk from the house beside hotel La Joya. Jennifer was very helpful and was always available. We had a wonderful stay!

A little piece of your own Oasis- Casa Mayaland that is. Fantastic hosts, comfortable and wonderful decor, and the best part is the outside oasis! Pool, hot tub, hammock, outside eating, and even a view of the ocean on top of the roof! Easy walking access to Punta Sur and the coastal walkway which we utilized a lot enjoying the wonderful views. We are a family of six- we did not have a car nor rent a golf cart - call a taxi or even the hosts can call one for you! Make friends with the wonderful people of Isla Mujeras! It was a vacation of a lifetime!

The house was as expected and very nice to spend time in after a day of being out on the island. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook a meal even though we didn’t utilize it. The beds were comfortable, the air was cold, but the outside area was the best part. It was nice to sit and relax in the hammock or under the trees in the seating area. Just be sure to rent a golf cart because you will not want to wait for a taxi to come and pick you up. It’s located on a nice quiet street.

Great private place to stay.

This property is beautiful, well stocked, and the staff is amazing. From the very beginning, Angel helped us get checked in and out. Super friendly and helpful. Alain was very responsive for any issues or questions we had during our staff. We did need assistance with a couple of things, but they were quickly addressed. The house itself is well appointed, and we felt completely safe during our stay. The pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, and patio area were well used. The location is in the south of the island, but we chose it because we wanted to relax. There is still plenty to do, and you can get anything you need without venturing to the north side. We found a great place called The Joint. Make sure you make arrangements for a golf cart. They are indispensable. I highly recommend you visit if you can.
