Mariana’s place is beautiful and in a really lovely part of Isla. The pool and courtyard made the place amazing. The kitchen is really well stocked and cooking at home was a cinch. The air conditioner in the master bedroom, however, was broken during our entire stay and the master bed hard as a rock with a dent on one side. Those two things made the master very uncomfortable. I did notify the manager of these issues day after arrival and they sent someone some time later who showed up without warning during a business meeting. Had to have them return later…they came the next day, spent hours fixing it. It blew cold for a couple of hours then stopped working again. We were near the end of our stay by that time, so I just lived with it for the remainder of our visit. It was challenging to sleep well in that room. The rest of the place was wonderful and we had an amazing time on the quiet end of the island. Only tiny rocky beaches here, so if you want sand close by, head north. 😊

We loved Casa Mayaland!!!! Great house, great pool, and great location ! I would not hesitate to book again! If your booking this house you will want a golf cart or scooters for sure. The only issue we had was the washing machine did not work, we told the property manager and he was very apologetic. These things happen.....

Great house in a nice peaceful area. Loved the pool and hot tub. The casita was nice to have for those that want their own space. The deck needs some repairs but while we were there they were already bringing in new boards to replace it so it’s on the owners radar and shows they are taking the steps to maintain the house.

The outdoor space was amazing, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Could use a few repairs and updates however. The back decking is a safety concern, so many loose boards…husbands foot went right though one of them. We loved the location, but we like this part of the island. There is a neighborhood rooster that gets a little loud but the kids thought it was great!

Casa Mayaland was perfect for our family! It was a beautiful home with everything we needed. Well-stocked kitchen (even a rice cooker and crockpot), beautiful pool and hot tub, comfortable beds. Great communication and help with golf cart rental and taxis. Plenty of fresh water provided. 23 minute golf cart ride to Playa Norte, Super close to Rancho Capricho (amazing shrimp and vegetarian tacos) and Punta Sur.

We truly loved our stay at Mayaland. The south side of the island is quieter with more of a getaway feeling. The pool and hot tub felt luxurious and I personally loved the visits from the friendly neighborhood cat. An incredible value, we'd love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay. The back yard truly is a tropical oasis.The hot tub saved our trip when a cold front passed through. Our 1 & 3 yo boys enjoyed the pool daily. We felt right at home and really liked the vibe of this property. The dirt roads getting to it are a little bumpy but well worth being off the main road, felt very safe and private. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to prepare meals at home. We also liked spending the day at KinHa a couple blocks away, which has a little water slide and pool kids can use if you eat a meal there. (Also paddle boards and swim up bar for adults). We were here a week and felt like that was a good amount of time but could continue to explore as there are so many good restaurants and the playa Norte is easy to spend a whole day at. Definitely rent a golf cart, we used it every day for exploring and getting groceries. We visited one of the islands nice and very clean public parks with our young kids on Calle Cherna. Note: hours are 5pm-10pm

Casa Mayaland is a beautiful escape from everyday life. The patio and pool area provide a lush oasis away from the hustle bustle of the main tourist areas. The roof area is great for viewing stars, distant thunderstorms and beautiful sunrises. And most importantly, the mattresses are fabulous! Additionally, the concierge is readily available through text for recommendations and any situation that may arise. We definitely will return on our next trip to Isla Mujeres.

The place was beautiful & perfect for us. Pool was cleared of flower petals daily by crew, which was nice because the wonderful surrounding blooming trees dropped a lot of petals. Kitchen was very well stocked, linens clean, beds comfortable, and lots of towels (thank you!) for bath and beach. AC units were perfect & quickly cooled rooms when turned on, which was nice because I always turn them off when leaving for the day, however I do leave the fans on. As a result, there was never any musty smell upon our return. Alejandro was responsive to all needs and Jan Carlos very helpful when we got a little bit lost upon arrival. We totally loved our stay and relaxed and enjoyed the beaches. Also, Punta Sur is a must and we recommend walking along the sidewalks by the sea.
