Beautiful home, lots of privacy and in a quiet setting. Marie-Anne was always available for anything that happened. There are small things that can improve but I would definitely come back.

My stay went well, the host is always available and responds to all our requests. The location is very good (as described). Small negative: the space needs a little maintenance (showers are stained, several stains on the walls, etc.). Overall we are satisfied and recommend this location.

Amazing home and exceptional host, Marie-Ann is this best host I have had thus far, very helpful and accommodating helped plan a very special surprise. Home is exactly as mentioned close to the strip and excursions by car beautiful scenic views

This house was amazing, the pictures can’t describe how beautiful it is. Definitely worth every penny paid. Maybell was very responsive, helpful and gave us information regarding places to visit. You do need a 4x4 to get to the house.

This place was amazing and everything was absolutely amazing. With this being my first time traveling to Costa Rica Marie made sure all questions were answered and was literally just a phone call away if I needed anything. Such a peaceful and beautiful home and not far from the beaches at all. Highly Recommend!!

We Loved the villa!! It's a beautiful, spacious, clean, and super comfortable home. The amenities are spot-on and reliable. The bedrooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with great lighting, fans, and air conditioning. We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor seating very much! The sunsets are just breathtaking from the home. The location is perfect, as it's close enough to everything and far enough to block out the town madness. Having said all this, I would be amiss if I don't mention that the home is a bit worn out, and needs some updating. Some things are falling apart, and need to be fixed up at the earliest so the Villa doesn't lose its charm. These are just small things that become big things over time. Also, getting to and from the Villa is an offroading adventure each day! Our home manager, Patricia was wonderful, matter-of-fact, and easy to communicate with. In spite of her super helpful suggestions on the area, I do highly recommend doing your own research.

Amazing house! We lived here for several months and it was the perfect home for my little family. Frederick is a gracious host and they have a great house manager. Highly recommend this stay!

Pictures aren’t accurate (photoshopped) to look more updated Much more run down in person 7-8 wasps nests on the actual villa itself We got stung trying to use the pool Broken appliances and washrooms Doors that do not fully close or lock Completely unsafe 100s of insects in the villa Dirty towels Broken toilets I can go on and on Airbnb refunded me On-site and declared it a high severity issue - enough said Don’t get stuck like me having to book a a last minute hotel

It's sad for you Anthony. I have never met a person who lies like you. Villa Colina is still in immaculate condition. You put the shabby villa, yes! You've dried your soaked clothes on the leather chairs in the dining room, you've left dirty clothes on the floor in the toilets! No, you didn't have access to household products in the laundry room, all doors and windows close properly with no problems. When you contacted me about the wasp nests, I responded within the hour with a fumigation guy and 3 nests were treated and removed. Why not talk about your disrespect for consumption in an ecological country like Costa Rica! You leave the villa for the whole day and you leave EVERYTHING ON, the jacuzzi, the indoor and outdoor spotlights as well as 8 air conditioning units! So if I was not pleasant, you should review your status! And to top it off, you don't even dare call me when you leave the villa like thieves, taking the keys with you and those of the safety box! Shame on you !

This is a modern house with high grade touches, a beautiful pool, plenty of space and amazing jungle views. We woke up to the sounds of howler monkeys and watched parrots fly from tree to tree in the evenings. If you wake up early you can see the hills submerged in the clouds. It’s truly a great way to experience nature as Costa Rica intends it. Patricia welcomed us to the property and provided much needed information. The check in, checkout process was smooth. She was available when needed. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, utensils, dishes, etc. location is perfect as it’s close to Tamarindo but away from the crowds. We truly enjoyed our week here.

We had a very nice stay. The location is really nice, it offer great views from different parts of the house. It was nice to be able to be in the pool and enjoy the greenery. Patricia was there to meet to us. She was very responsive as well as generous with her recommendations of different place to visit, restaurants to dine at, etc We got some nice 'local' recommendations that were not crowded. We had a leak in the sink. She was there in a few minutes to take a look and to see what she could do to help. Much appreciated. One thing to note is that based on where the villa is located on the hill, you do get some noise from the traffic below.You cannot see the traffic so you still have your privacy. Something to think about if you are sensitive to noise. It did not bother us, so the 5 star rating. Overall a nice place for 1-2 families to enjoy their vacation. We would stay again at the villa if decided to go back to Costa Rica.

The place was beautiful and we loved our stay. The pool is so nice and being at the top of the hill in a glass house was cool. We did need to clean a bit in the bathroom areas but that was ok and our place was safe! You are one with nature as you do hear monkeys and birds at night/in the morning.
