The view from this place is incredibly gorgeous. Pictures can’t quite capture just how amazing the mountains are from the house. Very responsive and helpful host. Esteban who lives on the property was very kind and helpful as well. The property is secluded and was a great place to appreciate the natural beauty of Tepoztlan. Would stay here again for sure.

The house is very nice, excellent for spending relaxing days with family or friends. Convenient for groups, as each room has its own bathroom, and the common areas are spacious and pleasant.

Our group of friends had a great stay here, the description is very accurate and communication throughout the time was great. We were very thankful to the groundskeeper, who helped us with anything we needed while we were there. The location is peaceful but we mostly used our cars to get into town. We had a nice time and would recommend families or friends stay here when in Tepoztlan.

The house is exactly as the pictures. It's a place to spend time with family, with good amenities, a pool and a good garden. Relatively close to downtown Tepoztlán. Due to the weather, we couldn't use the pool or the garden, but it met our expectations. Makawi and the landlord are very kind, attentive and very responsive.

Excellent house, highly recommended and with a very nice view of the town. Instead, it's a little further from the center, which isn't necessarily bad for the peace and quiet. The people who help in the house are great, they make the stay very pleasant. In cold weather, the water doesn't come out hot at all times, as it's a solar heater. It's more like warm water. I would definitely come back to this place.

A great place to chill with our family. We cooked meals in the very nice kitchen, grilled in the Argentine style “parrilla,” and lounged by the beautiful pool. The staff was amazing.

Wonderful location

The natural surroundings of the house are stunningly beautiful (views and sounds of birds), and that doesn't make its interior any less comfortable; on the contrary, each of the house's spaces is extremely comfortable, highly functional, and well-equipped… plus, they're new… The pool was the best... perfect temperature... size, and the Jacuzzi completes the experience (we could even stay inside until nightfall...). You can order practically anything from local delivery services (by motorbike), and they arrive immediately... Terrace and viewpoint... Wow!!! In my opinion, the purpose of the space is to stay and enjoy it in a relaxed way, not to be coming and going to the town... or only occasionally...

Excellent location, close to the mountains

AMAZING house! Great pool and jacuzzi, dream view, top architecture. We spent beautiful days and we can’t wait to come back!

This house is surrounded by natural beauty everywhere, situated at the base of the mountains looking down into the valley of Tepo. The view of the sunset behind the mountains on the other side of the valley is pure magic every night. The house is remote and peaceful and the kitchen is well-equipped. There is no need for a car if you bring everything you need. A taxi from the bus station to the house is $100-120 MXN and about 15-20 min. The house is a destination; ideal for guests who want to be closer to nature than to the restaurants, bars, mercados, etc. in/near Centro. The owner and on-site property manager were very responsive and helpful.

Makawi is a great host. She made sure everything was alright with our stay, helped us arrive, and helped us locate a supermarket nearby. I have no words to describe the amazing place we stayed in. It was all we needed, we were amazed by all the details that made our stay feel like at home. From Esteban (who is very kind and willing to help out with any problem (and we had non) to the amazing kitchen utensiles, to the view, to everything. We’d love to come back! We had such a great time, and we’re greatful for Makawi trusting her beautiful house to us. An experience beyond words.

A great stay! Very friendly host, the house is very nice, comfortable and clean. Everything in order and without any problems, we will certainly return! The only thing to take into account is that to get there you have to go in a car that is not very low because of the cobblestones that you have to take, a small detail, but it is worth that journey to get to this house. By the way, the view you have is amazing! Both towards the mountain and towards the village. We were there on New Year's Eve and you can see the fireworks that are launched all over Tepoztlán. A lot of tranquility in this house :)

Makawi and Esteban were amazing hosts! The home is just as pictured and the views from the rooftop terrace are remarkable. My family and I would defiantly stay here on our next trip to Tepotzlan.

Great place. It's like 15/20 mins from downtown. We only had a problem with the hot water.

It is a little tricky to find the house, but once you do, it is a wonderful getaway. Estaban, the caretaker is there and able to let you in and out. The place is very clean. I would call it nice but not luxury, but very nice.

Spectacular place!! The house is beautiful and the views are even more so. Much nicer in reality than in any photo. We didn't want to leave and look forward to coming back soon. The only issue is that the hot water is limited and with children it was a bit complicated

What a beautiful place! We loved sitting in the living room with the four walls of windows open with gorgeous views of the mountains. My kids loved the pool and jacuzzi. We had everything we needed. I was glad we got very good directions to the house and had a car as the road is bumpy. But we loved staying outside the town with the views and quiet and then going into the town for various activities. Would love to stay again!

It's a spectacular house, the energy is magnificent. It was an amazing experience; the cleanliness was outstanding.

This is a stunning house about 90 minutes outside Mexico City - my family (two adults, two kids ages 11 and 14) stayed at the end of a 10 day trip to the city. It is more gorgeous than the pictures, comfortable beds and bathrooms, well stocked kitchen, fast WiFi, so many beautiful spaces indoors and out. The pool is heated and my kids spent hours in it. Honestly, there are such breathtaking vistas out every single window that you could spent the day just rotating your chair occasionally. The house feels isolated, but is about a 15 minute drive into town for food, markets, shopping, hiking, etc. We went into town for a bit each day, but if you brought enough food you could just stay at the house and be happy. Makawi's communication was excellent, which was helpful given that it is definitely a challenging spot to find! Hoping to be back at some point down the road.

This is hands down the best Airbnb in Tepoztlán. The view is breathtaking, specially from the roof. The house has everything you need, from kitchen and utensils to a ping pong table! If you bring your car there’s parking in the property, if not, make sure to get a couple of taxi numbers from the town since there are no taxis driving around in the area.

Very lovely home in an incredible setting. We had such a peaceful time here, and loved the pool, views, and cooking meals. The housekeeper was very kind and helpful. It can be difficult to call a taxi to the house, as the street names are confusing, but taxis can be hailed about 15 minutes walking. Would absolutely return.

Absolute peace of mind.

This home has tremendous views, great hiking and such a beautiful and modern feel. The caretakers are kind and the town is incredible.

Simply a perfect place. Nothing more you could wish for. The house is marvelous, spotlessly clean, the garden beautiful, the pool warm and spacious. The kitchen is completely equipped with non-plastic glasses, cups and plates and all the kitchenware you need. Makawi is an excellent host, very attentive. We will definitely come back asap!

The house is amazing, modern and very well-kept facilities. It is the perfect place if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, since it is on the slopes of the hill and, although access is complicated for the same reason, it is well worth it to be able to enjoy the peace that surrounds the place. If you bring the groceries, the house comes with everything to stay there without having to leave. Communication with Makawi is excellent and Don Esteban is attentive to whatever is needed on site. I highly recommend this place if you want to be away from it all or if you go to any social events in any of the area's event gardens.

Highly recommended. Great house, with an amazing view to any side that you turn, the green areas are well cared for, the pool is somewhat temperate but very nice, the house was fumigated and with very good maintenance, The arrival is a little complicated since it is a lot of terracería with stones on the way, but once you arrive you no longer have to leave for anything, there is a person who welcomes you, very friendly and I help us with everything we needed during the stay.
