I highly recommend this place, a very pleasant stay in every aspect, ideal for resting

We completely enjoyed our stay! The house was just as the description showed. The house was spotless. the surrounding area is beautiful. Queens and kings restaurant is walking distance, we ordered food and took it back to enjoy at the house. There's lots of areas to just walk around and take pictures. Mr. Roberto very graciously provided us wood for the fire pit. Was very prompt in answering any question. Thank you for sharing your home with us we truly enjoyed our stay.

The house is amazing, excellent for 8 people. What I liked most was the location and that each bedroom has its own bathroom. A very nice house, it is steps away from the restaurants, this house has everything. I recommend it 100%

Great house very clean. Very spacious. Loved how the house smelled and decorated for fall . Very comfortable beds. I would booked this house again.

Host Response

Thank you for your kind words Carlos. I am glad you enjoyed your stay at Casa Lynda's and your trip to Valle de Guadalupe. It was a pleasure having you at Casa Lynda's and appreciate the cleanliness of the premise on your check out. Hope to see you in the near future. Thank you for being our customer.

Our experience staying here from start to finish was fantastic. Esteban was very responsive and provided clear instructions to get to the house and provided great recommendations for local wineries. The house was absolutely beautiful. We loved the big lot that it was on and the stunning views. Upon entry, the house smelled so beautiful, and it was very clean and organized. The aesthetics were top notch. We were a group of 8 (4 couples) so the big take away was that everyone had their own room and private bathroom. I recommend this house to everyone looking for a safe and beautiful home and within perfect location to local wineries and restaurants. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay!

I don't have enough words to praise Esteban and his place; I'd definitely recommend it. The photos don't do justice to what you'll find here, I’ll try to summarize: 1. The place was more than enough to accommodate 4 couples with its own room and full bathroom. All rooms are spacious enough so there's no room tussle. There are enough areas to hang out, be it all together or in smaller groups so you won’t feel crowded. 2. The place is close to vineyards, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. It's 1.5 hours away from TIJ airport and 30 minutes away from Ensenada. 3. The place was clean and the overall property is well maintained. 4. If you’ve ever been to Valle de Guadalupe you know that it’s not easy to get around without a vehicle (preferably truck or SUV), so please mind that not all streets on the surroundings are paved. 5. The communication with the host is awesome. Esteban always responded within minutes with tips, assistance, and doubt resolution.

Great location, close to popular vineyards. Very clean and comfortable, especially if you go as a family or with large groups; especially because each room has its own full bathroom. The only thing is that it's a bit confusing to enter, since you don't enter through the main entrance to the "hacienda" where the house is (the host sends you clear instructions on how to enter). Other than that, the house and the view are very nice.

It was very nice to stay at Casa Lynda's with friends. Specially because it is really comfortable if everyone has its own room with a full bathroom, like hotel rooms. There are not too many options that offer this in Valle de Guadalupe. We also enjoyed very much our gatherings in the kitchen or in the patio with a view to the Vineyards. You have that feeling you are expecting, that you are actually in the valley, surrounded by vines. Esteban was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

The house is very spacious and beautiful, just as I see in the photos and with all the amenities. With a beautiful view from all sides! Esteban was very attentive to our messages and also to resolving them quickly! It is close to a bar that if it makes enough noise, for us it was not annoying but it is something to consider. Everything is within a reasonable distance. We only had one problem with the hot water, which they tried to fix immediately! Despite this we were very happy, the location felt very safe, 100% would return to this beautiful house!

The property is nice, close to some hot spots but it’s not safe at all. My car was vandalize while parked at the property. Someone broke into my car breaking a window. After the incident, I contacted my host, Estevan. He called the police and minutes later arrived to take the report. The police were not able to do anything since no valuables were taken from my car. In addition to the police, the grounds keeper( ranchero) who lives in the property stated that he didn’t not hear or saw anything. I believe him since the designated area where we were told to park the cars was very dark. We were told that the host doesn’t want anyone to park in the driveway because the floors are raising. After the incident, myself and guests were not feeling safe at the property anymore. We asked for a refund stating we would leave the next morning lieu of the unforeseen events. The refund was granted but only with the condition that we leave the same night. With a broken window, anxiety, and fear; it was almost impossible.. Thankfully we found housing in a near by hotel with security. I believe Estevan could’ve been a little more flexible and supported more throughout this episode but instead the only things I heard were apologies that didn’t no anything to help. Sure, he refunded me but no further assistance. Also, i still have to fix my car which will be anything from $200-$500 In conclusion, I strongly advise all travelers to avoid this property at all cost. Save yourself a headache and protect yourself and loved ones.

Host Response

Dear Rogelio. My sincere apologies for your experience during your stay with your broken car window. This is the first incident that has ever happened at this property. As part of the safety protocol, Casa Lynda's contacted immediately the police to inspect the area, take the report, and take additional steps, if necessary. Casa Lynda's understood the situation and granted you a full refund. I understand you wanted to stay on a comp free night for the incident, but that’s not part of Casa Lynda’s policy, which is typical practice in the hospitality sector. With all that, I offered you a considerable discount for the night. Casa Lynda's is in a very safe area, and this is the first and only incident of this type, and immediate changes have been made, including a new parking area with lightning, next to the driveway and closer to the security cameras range, and the fence gate is now locked at night. Once again, my apologies for the incident, I wish you well. Esteban

Terrible service we had to leave the house because at the time of going to want to go to bed in any of the 4 rooms were the beds full of bed bugs. The owner did not come out to face and only another person came out to give a version that they were mosquitoes (/I'm cardiologist) and I know very well what a mosque is and what bedbugs are. Please take that into account and don't let yourself be scammed by this person.

Host Response

At Casa Lynda's, cleanliness and hygiene are a priority. We find your comment unfortunate and untimely, as what happened was a misunderstanding. The beds did not have bedbugs, as you are mistakenly stating. In fact, they were springtails that entered due to the guests' carelessness in leaving the windows and doors open for extended hours while they were spending time on the patio, allowing these springtime insects, which are found in Mediterranean wine-growing areas, to enter. The beds are brand new and continuously checked for guest comfort and protection. Spring in Valle de Guadalupe means Springtail season! What is a springtail? A very small and completely harmless black mosquito. They love the vineyards as much as we do! They don't sting or bite, and they're nothing more than a nuisance. They are not an indication that the property is not clean or maintained. In fact, regular treatments are performed both indoors and outdoors. This helps keep them at bay, but they are inevitable in this area. We recommend keeping the doors and windows completely closed at all times, using the air conditioning found in three bedrooms and portable fans to control temperatures during the spring. At Casa Lynda's, communication and your safety are a priority.
