We had a wonderful stay in Bacalar! The place was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Everything was well taken care of, and the location made it easy to enjoy everything Bacalar has to offer. The host was very friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

The house, location, views, Sergio and Humberto being so attentive made our vacation even more amazing! We walked over to Cenote azul (feet away) and locals showed us where to access it and jump in. One bet that one of us would fall and surely we did 😂😁! We took a taxi over to three recommended restaurants (La Playita, Nixtamal, and BEST tacos at Taquerias Alambres 13). Pictures don’t do the water justice! Waking up to your that view is almost magical ♥️

What an incredible location, truly. Pristine views and swimming steps from a large covered porch perfect for meals and puzzles/games. The house was spacious and clean and beds so comfortable❤️be sure to sleep with the windows open; listen to the water lapping as you fade into sleep, and wake to lively birds and roosters in the far distance, you will not want to waste one minute of the relaxing days in Bacalar starting with the sunrise (sit on the lounge chairs w coffee 30min before sunrise for the show of a lifetime). Highly recommend renting a car and/or bikes. The street food on route 307 is delicious and parque principal de Bacalar a fun place to roam around (lots of vendors/restaurants/cafes/bars). We really enjoyed "Los Rápidos" (go during the week in the afternoon to avoid crowds) and the brand new archeological park of Ichkabal (read up on it!). Tren Maya worked perfectly for us; highly recommend. Overall a 10/10 experience and can't wait to return!!

The place is located in one of the best areas of the lagoon. It has large green areas and direct access to the lagoon. Sergio was always very attentive and kind, and our entire stay flowed very pleasantly. The family really enjoyed the stay and we would gladly return.

we absolutely adored the location its very beautiful and probably the one off the best spots on the lake. its approximately a 50 minute walk into town but there are restaurants just metres away, taxis are cheaper approximately 3 pound into town. we where in Mexico for a month and stayed in 5 different locations and this was our favourite, I don't like being negative but the accommodation is basic and the kitchen very basic, but this did not spoil our stay it felt more like a hostel. if you are aware of this its amazing.

beautiful house and location right on the lake. the house is spacious and clean. we took a boat tour and we're picked up right at the house. super convenient. the caretaker of the property is really nice. they also have jet skis and kayaks for rent. all in all...I would definitely return to Sergio's place again!

Sergio was always friendly and attentive. He left us some beers and ice cream. What's worth it about the house is its location next to the lagoon. We had a lack of hot water. Otherwise, everything was very good!

The house is wonderful, an excellent view, a very large garden where you can do many activities. The layout of the rooms and their size were great, which makes you feel comfortable. Sergio's service is very warm and attentive, and Mr. Humberto, who takes care of the house, is also very friendly and attentive to what you need. Overall, my family and I loved the stay.

The owner - don Sergio is a great person, very kind , always ready to help and we felt really like “at home” in his house with superb garden and private access to the lagoon. Sergio prepared for us amazing ceviche so I think you can not imagine better approach. Don Humberto who is taking care about property is very professional and always there to help. this place is gorgeous, it's clean very accessible, not too far from airport, the back yard it's gorgeous and the privacy is unbelievable.....place it's all for ur self. I definitely recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful location with direct access to the lagoon, a few minutes away from cenote Azul and a short drive into town. Mr. Humberto was great, always helpful with answering questions and getting us what we needed. Tranquil and peaceful - Loved it 👍🏽 Sergio came out to meet us personally and offered us additional flexibility around hurricane Beryl. Wonderful trip 😀

everything very nice, I followed, very kind, everything was very nice, very tidy and accessible, very recommended.

It is a very nice house for staying in groups of people. the access to the lake is amazing. it is close to cenote azul. and just seven minutes from the Town. I will plan more trips to visit Bacalar and this house is one of the reasons why. For even longer stays it would be nice to add a washing machine.

Excellent place if they are a large group (as we were) It's located in a beautiful part of the lagoon, and the house is huge (enough privacy for each of the group) but also very nice areas to share and even if they want to do some sports!

Excellent excellent location! Great host. Super clean place and special thank you to Sergio for recommending our private chef and private lagoon tour! We asked for fresh coconuts from tree and the attendant on site was more than happy to cut them down for us. We'll be back!

The property is perfect, its location, its spaces, the attention of the host. Its natural pool inside the lagoon is stunning. An excellent place for unforgivable vacations.

To sum it up, Sergio is the brother away from home because I left over USD $1000 in a rush to go to the airport. After I notified him, he sent me back the money the next day. So basically, I would trust Sergio with my life. He and his helper Humberto are extremely friendly and helpful and respond immediately. I would tell all my friends and family to stay there if they are going to Bacalar without a doubt. Once again thank you Sergio!

We loved the house and the unbeatable treatment. They brought us some kayaks when we ordered them, games. They also invited us to a delicious ceviche and ice cream. The house is very peaceful.

The house was perfect, everything was very clean, the location was very close to everything and as for the Lagoon it was in the most beautiful area of the Lagoon where the blue colors are perfectly distinguished. We really enjoyed it and Sergio was always looking out for us with restaurant recommendations and everything.

Sergio was a great host. He was very flexible as we had to leave a day early. The communication was impeccable. The property was very large and the children and we adults were able to stay well in the lagoon. The water was crystal clear. As a welcome gift, we even had beer and homemade ice cream in the fridge. We would be happy to recommend the place for a larger group.

We booked a stay here for 3 days, 2 nights. It was so difficult to leave this slice of paradise! The home was beautiful with an impeccable view of the lagoon. Additionally, there was private access to the lagoon from the backyard. We reserved a pontoon boat tour thanks to Humberto who assisted us with scheduling this tour. The boat came to the docking area and picked us up! Humberto was available for all of our needs and went above and beyond in making us feel at home. The home itself was very clean and they provided us with some beverages and fresh coconuts. The home is in walking distance to the cenote azul and several restaurants. My family and I are planning a trip back, and we will definitely be staying for a longer time.

Without a doubt, the house is fantastic and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. My family and I had a comfortable and happy time in addition to the host's attention, who was always attentive and attentive to our needs as soon as possible. The most beautiful thing was the lagoon at the foot of the house that is the best and without a problem. I will always return, every peso, dollar, euro or the currency you invest is worth it and will be more than paid! We did an event and it was wonderful, the decor and food, it was a feast!

The house is very clean, it is comfortable for families even with small children, it has an excellent location, the lagoon area is super comfortable because you can get in without vests, all three bedrooms have full bathrooms, (that's why we didn't suffer🤣) downstairs there is another full bathroom, all rooms have lagoon views! If you want a pleasant vacation and have children, it's super good! 👌

We had an excellent stay at Sergio's house, the house is super spacious and very nice, with a spectacular view of the lagoon. The host is one of the best who touched me, they took great care of us. We want to return soon

Sergio's house is beautiful , both in space that has every bedroom , living room , dining room, kitchen , terrace and garden , it is a very comfortable house, its location very close to Bacalar a few minutes away and above all that I think is what makes a 10 , is that it has a private beach and with a depth of 1 mtro and 30 cm for the little ones , and more inside Laguna , obvious deeper for adults ... We stayed from April 18 to 22, 2022 , we were 9 people ( two families ) and we were quite comfortable and there was still room for more . Look for several houses , but this one charms me, because you could be on the terrace or in the dining room, or in the garden and all the spaces are on the same level , so coexistence is very favored … and you can be in the hammock with shade and from there take care of the little ones .. The center of Bacalar is a few minutes away , preferably you have to take a car , to get around and do the groceries , since there is no store nearby .. The tours we hired were for us to the dock of the house😀, so that gives a plus to the comfort . The host received us with some drinks and provided us with water and ice🧊…. As well as a cooler for our tours … Definitely highly recommended and the host is excellent, and also the gentleman who takes care of the house, Mr. Humberto is very kind and very prudent ... Everything was excellent! Thank you very much 😊 It was a very good holiday and our children were delighted with the place , they went swimming from 7 am and also until 11 pm hehe😛.. We would definitely stay there again… And we hope to return to Bacalar soon. Regards 🖖

It is an amazing location. As a group of Acro Yogis we spent a training weekend at Sergio’s house. Everything went very well and Humberto’s who was at the location was very kind and helpful with all we needed. Highly recommended.

We had a very magical stay at Sergio’s house on the Lagoon. The property was really spacious and beautiful. It was even better than what I expected from the photos. There is a great outdoor seating area with hammocks and direct access to swim in the lagoon. Sergio’s communication was great and the check in was easy.

We were very happy at SERGIO's home. It is a very nice house, very comfortable, very complete, at the foot of the lagoon, with a wonderful view and a few sensational sunsets and sunsets. It is located at a very convenient point as it is on the outskirts of the village of Bacalar so it allows you to have a lot of peace of mind to rest. It is very comfortable that each room has its own bathroom and that there is a half bathroom in the dining room. The showers have very nice pressure, very tasty. The garden is huge and perfectly well cared for. It's a family-friendly house. Sergio is a great host who was always attentive to us seeing that we were doing well in every detail. We are very grateful to you. I highly recommend this property and Sergio as a host. Of course we would like to return.
