Incredible stay. Book this place immediately. Our group of 7 scoured the area for a vacation spot and this place seemed too good to be true for the price, but it was the best decision we could have made. The only hesitation for this place: The road to get there was a bit bumpy - not an issue for a high clearance vehicle but otherwise you just need to drive slow. Now to the good stuff: 1. The staff - incredibly helpful with recommendations, booking, cleaning. Pretty much allowed the vacation to truly be carefree 2. The chef - chef Angelica is amazing. The food was delicious and plentiful every single day (even repeating dishes never got old). She was super flexible and accommodating to requests. 3. The space - incredible ocean views from rooftop pool and jacuzzi. Plenty of well thought out lounge areas for large groups. Overall great design and amenities for relaxation and exploration. There was mention of internet issues from previous guests but this seems to be resolved.

Casa Xuul is a beautiful, peaceful home! Just the place for our family to relax and decompress from day in and day out responsibilities. The staff was congenial and attentive, Victor in particular. The meals prepared by the chefs were "over the moon"! We can't recall any restaurants where we have enjoyed better culinary talent! Unfortunately, I did have to connect to the internet during our stay, and the strength of the wifi signal was inconsistent causing occasional disruptions (particularly upstairs). The unpaved road from Highway 307 to Casa Xuul was extremely rough and not well maintained! Definitely the biggest surprise. Other reviews noted the road's condition, but yet we were still taken back by the actual severity of the condition. Kept our speed to about 5km/h! Hard to understand why a road to such beautiful homes cannot be maintained on a more regular basis, if it cannot be paved.
