Worst hotel of our 3-week Costa Rica trip. We booked this hotel on Airbnb at about 2 pm in Puntarenas, with the request to tell us the exact location. Whatever happened. With an official response from the hotel. I also informed you that we will take the ferry at 3 pm and arrive around 6-7 pm. When we got to the hotel at 7 pm, they said they had bad news, the hotel is fully booked and they have no more rooms for us. The help was only to offer us overpriced rooms in dormitories. But we specifically looked for a double room with a private bathroom and air conditioning. We then left and looked for something ourselves, which cost us dinner, because apparently all restaurants in St. Teresa close at 9:45 pm.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry for the frustration this situation caused. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected system error that day, the room was no longer available upon arrival. The guest did not stay at the property, and therefore the review does not reflect an actual experience of our rooms, cleanliness, or service during a stay. We did our best to assist on site by offering alternative options and support. This situation was highly unusual and not representative of the experience our guests typically have with us, as reflected in our other reviews. We appreciate future guests taking this context into consideration.

We really enjoyed our stay at Point Break. We ended up with a bigger room than expected which was appreciated. The host was able to help us figure out transportation (beware most taxis have a 20 USD fixed rate). We got the bus schedule from our host which ended up being very useful throughout our stay. Accommodation was clean, well equipped and AC worked very well.

Very nice hotel with nice facilities. Perfect location for great restaurants and the beach. Unfortunately, we got a room out to the street, which made an extreme noise, which was quite a nuisance when sleeping.

They stay at this place wasn’t what we expected. It was very difficult to sleep at night because of the noice frem the street and the room wasn’t as clean as expected.

Simple bedroom with private bathroom, on the other hand small terrace unusable with the dust generated by the passages on the main road (dry season). But the room is spacious and nice! The shower water hasn't always been hot but nothing bothersome. Overall, enjoy your stay!

The localization is the best in Santa Teresa’s beach. The place is very clean, they have an amazing space to chilling out and the rooms are very comfortable
