We thoroughly enjoyed our 10-night stay at Luis' home and couldn't have asked for a more accommodating host who was willing to go above and beyond for our family! The home was exactly as described, and even more beautiful and bigger than we expected. With all 4 beautiful bedrooms, saltwater pool, gated entrance, and huge kitchen stocked with everything one might need, we had such a great time and felt right at home. Luis was quick to respond to questions and make great recommendations for food, activities, and many different suggestions for things to see and do. We highly recommend you choose Luis' home when coming to Puerto Vallarta!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely amazing stay! The home was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel incredibly welcome by greeting us with fresh margaritas 🍹 and a delicious fruit platter 🍍🍉—such a thoughtful touch! They also had guacamole and fresh chips that we requested ! The housekeeping staff went above and beyond, preparing wonderful breakfasts at our request 🍳☕ and even handling all of the shopping for the meals we wanted. Their hospitality and attention to detail truly made our stay special. They prepped and cleaned for us! The location was fantastic—close enough to easily enjoy the beach 🏖️ while still offering a peaceful and comfortable retreat. Every aspect of our experience exceeded expectations. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay.

What a great place to stay. Everything was clean and just like the pictures show, actually the pictures don’t do this place justice, it’s much nicer. Luis was there when we arrived with beverages and fruit to snack on while he gave us a tour of the place. Would 110% recommend. Location was great!

My favorite Airbnb stay to date! Luis Francisco’s Hacienda Tropical is truly a gem. The hosts and hacienda staff were phenomenal -very communicative, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. My group loved spending time at the house, especially by the pool, which became our favorite gathering spot. We didn’t spend much time on the rooftop but it was a beautiful view. We really appreciated the option to have the house staff prepare delicious meals for us! and the rooms were cozy and comfortable. The home is spacious and perfect for a larger group, with plenty of room for everyone to relax together. The location is ideal for anyone wanting a more local experience in 5 de Diciembre while still being just a 10-minute walk to the beach and a short drive from the Malecón. I’ve only been home a few days and am already telling my family that if we return to Vallarta, we have to stay here again. Thank you to our wonderful hosts and staff for such an unforgettable stay!

We were delighted with the place. From the moment you arrive, Luis gives you a unique welcome. The option he offered us, where they could prepare food for us just by paying for the ingredients, is fantastic and affordable. The cooks are super friendly and make delicious food. My friends and I stayed here for my bachelorette and we loved it! Walking distance to local restaurants and the beach. We took advantage of the included services and it was the best decision. We enjoyed the home cooked meals and the amazing hospitality!

A beautiful and very spacious house to enjoy with the family. The host was very friendly and accessible. The food they prepared for us was delicious.

Our group of 8 had an incredible time - the house was large enough that we all felt like we had our own space. The rooftop patio was peaceful and great for grilling, and we really enjoyed the pool. The staff was fantastic - they made incredible breakfasts and were very accommodating of our food preferences. The neighborhood is quiet but was walkable to grocery stores and the beach, and walking to other neighborhoods was very doable. We'd absolutely stay again on our next visit to Puerto Vallarta!

My family and I had a wonderful time and appreciated the prompt response from Luis in regard to communication before and during our stay. He gave us multiple suggestions for neighboring businesses big and small and how to get there, all within walking distance. We had 7 of us and the rooms were set up so we each had our own space when needed, but could gather easily in the common areas as well. Everyone had their own bathroom and temperature control. This place was perfect for us and we hope to come back very soon!

It was incredible to spend our New Year’s Eve vacation at this casa. Luis was very attentive to any needs we had and made us feel very welcome in their beautiful space. They gave us some awesome restaurant recommendations and even connected us with a chef to cook some meals in house. Will definitely book again for future trips.

Great place in a convenient location inside PV. Luis was a very gracious host and went out of his way to provide us with anything that we asked for, from restaurant / bar recs to freshly made breakfast and some really good margaritas. We took full advantage of the pool and all rooftop area inside the Airbnb, and would definitely come stay again. Would recommend to anyone! Would only suggest bringing additional bug spray, as there were lots of mosquitos, especially around the pool area.

The place was great. Every room had its own private bathroom. The pool was in the center of the house and it was delightful when it was hot and humid. The place had all essentials needed. The beach is just down the way like a 5 min walk. It’s a nice small spot. Uber was very accessible. You can head to the tourist areas or other beaches uber was always like 3 to 5 minute wait. Overall we enjoyed the house and its sound system:) it will not disappoint if you are looking for a more local feel, spacious house, and access to the rest of Vallarta.

This has been the most AMAZING Airbnb stay, Luis was extremely responsive caring and made our group feel so welcomed. We were greeted by his staff who were lovely, and an amazing fruit platter and drinks ready for us. We were also given a tour. The home was beautiful, comfortable and very homey. We were also listed with great resources that we used. It was very close to everywhere we needed to go, we had a group of 12 for a bachelorette trip and it was the PERFECT home to stay. Would definitely rebook with Luis, we couldn’t be more appreciative for how amazing the home and communication was. (The AC was immaculate, shower pressure was great, bedrooms were comfy!) the location felt very safe, and the 3rd floor patio was so beautiful to see the sunset or sunrise!

This house was beautiful. It was obvious that a lot of thought was put into making it comfortable. The decor was beautiful. It was large enough to accommodate 9 of us with room to spare. There were so many areas to explore and little places to relax. The pool was welcome after a day of being out. The rooftop deck was relaxing and beautiful. It was obvious that Luis went out of his way to think of all the things we might need away from home. He gave us so many helpful suggestions before we arrived and after about how to get around and good local restaurants. It was very welcoming to be greeted on arrival by his staff with someone who could show us around the house and explain how things worked. He was always quick to respond to any question. We loved staying in his house! We had a lot of fun and the experience was one we will remember.

We chose Hacienda Tropical as our place to stay for my sister's bachelorette party and it did not disappoint! Luis was always communicative upon confirming our reservation. He would reach out to check in and ensure that we were clear on instructions for arrival or ask if we need anything. While there, he provided several food recommendations, excursion ideas and points of contacts. He shared best transportation options for getting around Puerto Vallarta. My family and friends were simply impressed with Luis response time. He was almost always available to answer our questions. We definitely felt comfortable, and at home while staying at Hacienda Tropical. I was all about the incredible sound system they have going on! I always pack my speaker to play music, however I did not need to use it during this trip. The speakers inside the house were THE BEST!! You will not regret staying here. In total we were 8 females and all had somewhere to sleep comfortably. Thank you Luis & Mark!

We were pleasantly surprised by the host and their hospitality. They exceeded our expectations. Every request/issue was taken care of promptly. They have been one of the best hosts we’ve met using Airbnb. Our trip was in celebration for our daughter and nephews high school graduation- Luis had 2 piñatas filled with candy waiting for them-which was such a kind gesture. The home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with many small restaurants within walking distance. The home was clean and well stocked. We would highly recommend this home and cannot wait to come back.

We had an amazing stay at Luis's home! It was a beautiful haven that felt both private AND close by to everything you need. The owners were so quick to help with food recommendations and other activity ideas; plus, they were so fast to respond. It felt like we always had the help we needed at our fingertips! The home itself was gorgeous and each of the 4 couples we went had their own private area with wonderful gathering space when we were all together. The mornings on the balcony were beautiful, too. What a beautiful place!!! We enjoyed the multi-story options for hanging out. Luis was so helpful in getting us set up, giving local recommendations including the great breakfast place next door. He promptly resolved an issue that came up. We'll would definitely come back to this Hacienda if we ever come back to PV with a group of friends.

Hacienda Tropical is better than described. Luis and Mark provided everything you can think of and more. They brought groceries for us and had margaritas waiting when we arrived. They provided a crib and toys for our granddaughter and had more amenities than we could think to ask for. They communicated throughout the week and even offered mid-week cleaning. The location is quiet and walkable to many local restaurants and the beach. We would highly recommend Hacienda Tropical and hope to come back again.

Luis and Mark were the best air bnb hosts we have ever had! They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is 5 stars and I would recommend staying here for anyone!!! We were immediately greeted with an early arrival and tour of the house. They bought us groceries at NO extra charge and made us welcome drinks. The hospitality was SO appreciated. The air bnb had everything we needed and then some plus it is gorgeous! the views from the roof are insane each room has every amenity you need. We really appreciated how everything was so comfortable, even each room had an AC unit that worked so well!! We can’t wait to be back and had an incredible time at Hacienda Tropical. Went here with my family to celebrate my 30th birthday. There were 11 of us and more than enough room! We were instantly greeted and welcomed by the hosts. They were available 24/7 to answer any questions, gave us food and excursion recommendations too. If you plan on going to Puerto Vallarta this is the place!

House is beautiful and amazing, with full amenities. You'll almost not want to leave home, thats how amazing it is. Luis will greet you, and make you feel right at home.

La Hacienda Tropical was one of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had! Luis was incredibly responsive, answering all my questions even before we booked. The space was stunning and comfortably accommodated our group of 12 adults. The fully stocked kitchen, cozy beds, pool, beach necessities, etc. made it feel just like home. Luis went above and beyond by offering to get us snacks and drinks before our arrival, which made starting our vacation so much easier. Upon arrival, Luis and Mark met us for a tour of the home, which was super helpful. After the tour, we enjoyed delicious margaritas, which was a nice way to end the day and kick off the fun. The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Our hosts provided great recommendations for the area and contacts for activities. We booked a private boat tour through one of their contacts, and it was an amazing experience! I can't recommend La Hacienda Tropical enough—don’t hesitate to book your stay! You won’t regret it :)

Luis and his team were awesome! My group and i were welcomed with beers and margaritas. The house was really easy to find we had no problem with that. As soon as we got there we were given a tour and instructions. Every room was spacious and had everything for us to enjoy our stay! Would definitely come back

Luis was an impeccable host - extremely responsive and always helpful. To illustrate, the microwave broke one night and he brought a replacement the next day. My family had plenty of space and the kids (20 years, and two 18 yr olds) were delighted with their rooms and we all enjoyed the pool. The entire house was spotless and extremely well stocked with all the amenities that we would need. Towels and linens were very high quality. Luis shared a list of his favorite restaurants in the area and most were in walking distance and all excellent. Highly recommend you stay with Luis!

This place was amazing. They greeted you with margaritas and fruit and felt welcomed. The rooms were super pretty and clean and with any problem you might have the hosts are super fast to respond. This is also a great place to stay if you are wanting a safe more local area and not touristy. This place is beautiful and just like the images. They also have washer detergents and any shampoo if needed. The hosts were greatly and treated you with a tour. Definitely recommend, will be visiting again soon!

I’ve been to Vallarta numerous times from Resorts, Zona Romantica hotels, and Airbnbs around el centro. This is by far my best stay. The house is honestly great, clean, and never felt unsafe around the neighborhood at any time of day. None of us could find anything we disliked with our stay. For those who are looking for a more home feeling neighborhood this is it. You are honestly not far from the classic Vallarta hills and nightlife and Malecon (10 min Taxi). Just for how close you are to the great food recommendations makes me want to come back sooner rather than later. You were walkable to some of the best food all of us have ever had. Special shout out to Bixabeel kitchen for breakfast (3 minute walk), don Pepe’s tacos open until late (3 minute walk), and Meño’s kitchen with a beautiful view for brunch and bomb food. The hosts and the stay were some of the most responsive and their kindness knows no bounds. I will not stay anywhere else in Vallarta from now on. Thank you Luis!

Our hosts and this air bnb were INCREDIBLE. They met us at the house upon check in and had a fresh fruit platter and margaritas waiting! They helped us with getting groceries prior to our arrival and recommended a private chef for our first night there (it was DELICIOUS and we would recommend him to all that stay there!). The space was clean, air conditioned, and well stocked with anything and everything we could need. They provided recommendations for restaurants, bars, beaches, and markets that were fantastic. And they were always responsive to any messages we had throughout the trip. We would HIGHLY recommend this air bnb to others!

Luis' "Tropical Hacienda" is a magical experience that is bucket list-esque. Just a litte north of PV's Zona Romantica, this home leaves you breathtaken when the doors open to a cozy living room, granite, marble top & authentic kitchen presentation, a couple steps & you are met with a large one-of-a-kind wooden table, and just at the end a private & warm pool at the heart of Hacienda Tropical. Each room has it's magical, comfortable, and relaxing atmosphere. The rooftop Terraza is perfect to soak in the PV sun and host your group perfectly. One amazing aspect is the music & sound system - near perfect and available in all areas & corners of Hacienda Tropical. You might even contemplate leaving the home - again, a very magical feel. Lastly and most important - Luis, Mark (co-host) and his staff (we met Yune) are incredibly welcoming, attentive, fun, respectful, and accomodating. They make you feel right at home and want you to experience PV to the fullest. 12/10 recommend.

Hacienda Tropical was everything and more! We had such a great time here! Every thing is walking distance from where we stayed. All the host were great and very helpful. Luis was always there to respond whenever we needed something! Definitely would come back to Hacienda Tropical, and would definitely recommend it to my friends and family. It’s spacious and the vibes are all there.

We booked this airbnb for my sister's bachelorette party, and I can confidently say it was an absolutely fantastic experience! We loved that there was a centrally located pool. It became the heart of our daily activities, and we loved spending quality time there. The layout of the space was perfect for our group, offering both privacy and communal areas for us to gather and celebrate. Luis recommended a chef for our stay, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The chef not only prepared us a delicious dinner but also welcome us with margaritas and lunch upon our arrival. 10/10 would stay here again! Thank YOU!

We are so lucky to have found this Air Bnb. We were in PV for my Bachelorette and we couldn’t have been more happier with the space. It is a beautiful Hacienda that is spacious, clean, and comfy! The hosts were amazing. They were very flexible with check in, gave us a tour of the home, and even provided us with margaritas upon arrival. They were quick to respond when I had questions and provided many recommendations on transportation and restaurants. What stood out to me the most was that they helped us get groceries of liquor, water, gatorades, and snacks so we wouldn’t have to worry about that upon arrival. I would 10 out of 10 RECOMMEND.

Spent the Christmas holiday at Hacienda Tropical with family — siblings and their adult children, and had the best time. Can’t say enough good things about our hosts Luis and Mark, they were super responsive and were full of helpful recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The house was perfect for our group and we loved hanging out and having meals on the beautiful rooftop patio. Have been to PV several times and usually stay on the beach or in the most touristed areas so it was fun to stay in a real neighborhood, which was still walkable to the center of things (though we did take advantage of Uber a number of times, which was super easy. Highly recommend!

The hosts went above and BEYOND for our trip to Puerto Vallarta , from prepping the house for us, how close it was to everything in town, all the great information that was given to us and just how quick of a response I got for any questions I had. If I could give this place a million stars I would! This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had at an Airbnb which meant everything since I was celebrating a milestone birthday in a city I’d never experienced before. From reaching out weeks in advance to coordinate check in and groceries, to local food recommendations, to getting me an unexpected personalized tres leches cake and fresh mojitos waiting for me and my guests - my group had such a great time in this home! The area was quiet and safe with lots of local eats nearby, we also were close to pretty much everything we needed. The hosts were just THE BEST and my group keeps raving about how awesome they are and how beautiful the home is (pictures don’t do it justice!) Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful city and this home was a large part of what made the entire experience so great. I can’t WAIT to be back!!

Loved staying here for my bachelorette! Plenty of room to hang out together and have our own space too. Hosts were super responsive, helped me book a boat and chef. They even let us check in early and had a fruit platter and drinks for us! They really went above and beyond. The area is close to many things, a quick Uber/taxi ride away. Or a walk if the weather is agreeable. The neighborhood has some iffy infrastructure, so watch out for potholes, extra steps etc when walking around, especially if you're wearing heels! There are cockroaches around the neighborhood and we were spooked by one in the pool area. But by that point we had seen them down the street, so it wasn't a big shock. All in all, a wonderful place to stay with a big group!

Luis was absolutely amazing before we even arrived!! Cant say enough of everyone and his team!! They went above and BEYOND!!! Very communicative and sent us many recommendations for restaurants, taxis, tours that made things easier for us. He welcomed us with margaritas and also was there to receive our groceries. Absolutely amazing Hacienda, it was perfect! I have stayed in many places all over the world and Luis is by far the best host ive ever had. I would recommend any day!

The house is absolutely beautiful and set in a perfect neighborhood. We had two elderly, and two kids, with us so we wanted a diverse range of amenities. The pool was perfect for the kids, while the flat roads and easy access to the beach was great for the grandparents. During our visit Luis was extremely responsive and helped us address any issues or concerns we had. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Just stayed here for my bachelor party and it was one of the greatest weekends of my life, largely thanks to this amazing home. The pool and rooftop are amazing and the whole town of PV is incredible. Hosts were so nice, had beers and tequila waiting for us in the kitchen. Will be back soon.

My family absolutely loved this Airbnb!! From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. We were welcomed in person by the home owner, Luis, who showed us around, and surprised us with fresh cut fruit and champagne to celebrate our arrival! If that doesn’t scream hospitality, I don’t know what does! The ambiance was beautiful!! The overall experience was amazing!! I’ve stayed at several Airbnbs, however I’ve never stayed at one as spectacular as this one. The hosts stayed in constant communication with us throughout the trip, and always wanted to help in any way possible. I truly enjoyed the stay. Where to even start… this place is beyond amazing. My dream home essentially but beyond how beautiful this place is the location felt so safe and the hosts just made it extra special, they greeted us with a huge smile walked us through the property, had beer, wine, fresh flowers, even a cake for my friends bachelorette, they sent me a list of recommendations and were so wonderful. Back to the property itself, it felt so safe, it was 5 girls and we never felt unsafe there. The house is just so beautiful, I hope to one day come back!

Luis’ place was amazing for our group. Had everything we needed and is in a perfect local location

First of all Luis and the other host are amazing. They gave us a tour with beer, margaritas and chips and guacamole. Never felt so welcomed like this at an Airbnb. The instructions are very simple for an air bnb this huge. That being said this place is a lot bigger than I thought and a lot more beautiful in person. We came for a bachelor party and had plenty of room for a group of 8 and Can easily accommodate 12 with room to go. I honestly thought we wouldn’t spend much time here but we really enjoyed being here and hit the pool everyday multiple times a day because it’s so convenient. What made it way better was the sound system from the living room to the kitchen all the way to the Pool area. Everything else was great really can’t complain about anything and they even messaged us throughout to make sure everything was ok. They also shipped us some air pods we left behind. Can’t say enough good thing about the hosts, they blew us away with the hospitality.

We had a fantastic stay at this gorgeous villa! This house perfectly suited our little group’s needs. The common areas were great for socializing and relaxing and the bedrooms were perfect as well! The house itself is decorated beautifully in a traditional hacienda style. However the hosts, Luis, Mark & Bobby, were the highlight of our stay! from welcoming us personally with a tour and a little welcome happy hour, to checking in on us throughout our stay, it’s clear they take great pride in providing an amazing experience.

I booked Luis's place for my best friend's bachelorette party. It was an AMAZING stay. As far as the house itself goes, I think it's the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at. The house, furnishings, and decor are all gorgeous - one of the only places that actually looks even more impressive than the pictures. The pool and rooftop areas were perfect for the group to hang out, and the multiple bedrooms with bathrooms easily accommodated the group and made us feed right at home. Luis added so many thoughtful touches that really enhanced our stay - water bottles by each bedside, drinking water tank with refills, condiments, welcome drinks, a delicious cake! I would absolutely recommend to anyone coming to PV with a group.

Hacienda Tropical was a dream! The property is as amazing as the pictures. As another reviewer stated: If this place is available, book it! You will not regret it. The hosts were also amazing and met us upon arrival. They provided a detailed tour of the property and provided local recommendations. They checked in with us throughout the trip to make sure we had everything we needed. Their lenient check-in/check-out policy was also greatly appreciated as many people in our group had late flights home. Another thing that we truly appreciated were the bottled waters that the host left in all bedrooms and restrooms - super helpful as this is a tri-level villa and not having to go down to the kitchen every time we wanted water was a major plus! Everything you need is in walkable distance, or a short taxi ride away. We will absolutely consider this home again for future visits to Puerto Vallarta!

The pictures are accurate and the house is even more beautiful in person! They left holiday decorations up for us and it was wonderful for our New Year's celebration at Hacienda Tropical. Bobby, Mark and Luis were extraordinary: very friendly and helpful and they had fruit and drinks ready for our arrival! There were a couple issues with the pool temperature and pump operation but our hosts were very quick to fix them. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Several restaurants and the Malecon are walking distance. However, if anyone has mobility issues or requires a wheelchair, etc this might not be the best option as all the streets in the area are uneven and tricky to navigate. The house itself has a lot of stairs and it was hard for my mom (who has knee problems) to get around. The house and neighborhood is probably best suited for young, agile people but not so much for the elderly or families with little kids. We had a wonderful time!

I absolutely loved staying here! Luis and Bobby were so kind and welcoming! They are super responsive on anything that you need! I loved the location, it’s a short walk to the beach. The home is very beautiful and clean! Lots of space and fun games to play! Highly recommend staying here!

If this place is available book it! Luis and his traditional Hacienda are both amazing. We were greeted upon our arrival with a tour of the property, a welcome cocktail and some snacks, which was unexpected and very much appreciated. The house is located smack dab in the middle of a very authentic neighborhood in Puerto Vallarta. The neighbors are great, friendly and proud of their street. Restaurants, bars, amazing and cheap street food vendors, and more, are all within a few blocks of the casa. The beach and boardwalk are a manageable 10-15 minute walk, and if you have a car - you're not more than a short trip away from anything else you'd need. Our family of 7 stayed the week before Xmas 2022, and all of us were comfortable and happy. We enjoyed the small pool in the courtyard, eating al fresco on the rooftop patio and all having enough space to get away from each other when needed. :) Would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants an authentic, yet safe experience.

Best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at hands down. Just wow. We spent thanksgiving in PVR with a group or 7 and everyone in the group said the same thing: “just wow”. I can’t recommend this host enough, very attentive, great communication and truly wants you to have an amazing time during your stay. This is a gem on Airbnb.

Hacienda Tropical is a beautiful home, within walking distance to most things! The house is very secure and we were able to all relax. Jorge the house manager, was available to set us up with anything we wanted safely which was so convenient. Highly recommend for larger groups!

Out of all my experiences with Airbnb, this will easy go down as my favorite and most memorable, to date. Pictures don’t quite do the house justice, there was more than enough room from me and all of my guests. We were treated like family from the day we arrived to the day we left. Luis & his staff went above and to make sure I brought in my birthday the right way. I highly recommend Luis & his staff if you’re considering traveling to Puerto Vallarta.

Beautiful house and great communication

This place is incredible. My squad of 11 booked it in mid July, and our stay was awesome. First off, Luis' communication was great off the bat, he recommended a ton of local spots and all of them were great. The location is sweet, being a couple blocks from local markets, it really has the feel that you are immersed in the culture there. It's about 10 minutes from a sweet beach, and a recommended place, mango's is where we spent most of the afternoons and had a blast. The space was otherworldly, a large kitchen on the first floor with a large dining room table, the pool is as good as it looks, such a refreshing temperature when outside is 80+. It is also an open space above the pool, so when it rained and stormed it was pretty insane to look up at the flashing lightning. the rooftop was super nice and everything was designed and put together well. Everything I have mentioned made the stay a 10/10 for us. But, when you add in what an incredible squad Luis has, it easily becomes an 11/10. If there was a wifi problem, boom, Jorge was there fixing it. We ask for a club recommendation, they bring up 2 vans that night to mob us on over to the zoo. Seriously, it wasn't just that we got an airbnb to stay at, we had a local team ensuring our vacation was incredible. Like the A-team of the Airbnb world. Checkout was not only easy, but super accommodating, some of us had later flights and Luis let us stay however long we needed. If you're looking for a place to house a good size squad, I could not have imagined a better place for ours. Book it!

Location was great, close to the malecon boardwalk downtown. House was spacious and nicely setup. It had a good mix of modern and traditional. Pool and top patio were great features. Communication from the owner was excellent. Our family had a great visit and we were extremely happy with this place. We highly recommend this choice and would definitely visit again.

This was the perfect house for my group and I (total of 8) spacious clean and just well taking care of. Luis was the perfect host, anything we needed, he wasjust one txt away. I was celebrating my 30th bday in his beautiful home. checked in with a huge bottle of tequila and a birthday cake waiting for me. he went above and beyond to make sure my guest and I were good on anything. even though it's an airbnb it felt like a 5 star resort. house was so amazing there were we didn't want leave it, but knew we couldn't miss our reservation. Every room had something to offer. Me and my friend will definitely be staying here again.

Exceeded all expectations! Luis was great. The house is really beautiful with lots of room to be together or get space if you need. Fit 11 of us with beds to spare. Easy walk to the beach, Zona Romántica, and all the food you could want.

Both Luis and Hacienda Tropical were absolutely phenomenal. Luis's home is beautiful, well kept, included all of the amenities a traveler could ask for (i.e. all types of chargers, a stocked bar, beer in the fridge, cold purified water, bathroom toiletry kits - everything!), is located in a great neighborhood (the true locals experience) and is within walking distance of everything one could imagine in PVR. Luis truly went above and beyond. We were greeted with a stocked fridge, a nice bottle of tequila, and a tour of the house (while sharing said cold beer together). Luis provided amazing recommendations and a handful of cards valid for free meals in the areas. He is laid back and has amazing local insight - We came for the house, and we left with a new friend. Tremendous home, fantastic host, all around amazing experience. Thank you Luis!!

I have to say this was the best experience I’ve had with an Airbnb and their host. Luis went above and beyond for us and made our experience in PV amazing. The home was beautiful and very clean. He gave us a tour of the whole house and left us with some great recommendations of places to see and eat. If I had a chance to rate this on a scale from 1 to 10, it would definitely be a 15. Over all I would recommend this to anyone who want to visit PV and stay at a beautiful home with an amazing host.

I’m a big fan of detailed reviews when searching, but to be honest there is nothing more to say than Luis and his home on Puerto Vallarta was incredible. Pictures didn’t do it justice! It was spotless and clean, Luis himself was incredibly helpful and kind. We had a group of 7 and we were in a part of town that felt more local and authentic, but we could walk 7+ minutes to the tourist areas. But let’s be honest, Pepe’s tacos was incredible DEAR LORD THOSE TACOS! And it was maybe a 5 minute walk. Just a few blocks. Already craving one. Thanks Luis for a great stay, recommend getting an in house chef and enjoying the rooftop winds and view. Will be booking again!

I had my bachelorette weekend at PVR and we decided to stay here to celebrate. It was a great decision, Luis was a lovely host! I would love to stay here again!! Great location close to everything or an easy Uber ride! Love love loved it!! Pictures are very accurate! And the pool was a great addition!!!

If you’re considering this luxurious airbnb for your stay in PV, look no further! This house is exactly as described. It has everything you could possibly need and the host is incredibly gracious. My friends and I (9) spent a double birthday weekend here and it was by far the best choice! From the surround sound speakers, large bedrooms with comfy king/queen size beds, rooftop, entertainment/pool area, close proximity to the beach/downtown, and complimentary birthday cakes, we were so spoiled! I would definitely stay here again!

this is a very nice airbnb. the house is set up so it can be accommodating to the guest. fast chargers everywhere, charging station, heated pool, and the Surround soundwas lit. we had the music loud late at night and early in the morning and there was no issue. the house where it is located was in a safe area and everything was close by. oxxo was a 3 min walk . restaurant area even closer. when I go back to PV I'll be contacting Luis.

Absolutely amazing experience. From a personal house tour to a welcome home champagne & fruit, it was the best way to visit Puerto Vallarta. Luis, Pablo & Cynthia had 12/10 service and I hope everyone gets to experience their hospitality & love! The pool and rooftop was our favorite 😍 Whenever I had a question, it was answered within 10 minutes. I received over 20 recommendations ranging from food, beaches, outdoor extrusions, nightlife events, etc.

We had a wonderful experience at the Hacienda. Luiz was a great and attentive host. We really appreciated the free cleaning services and were very impressed by the amenities.

I loved everything about this place; the house is beautiful! All bedrooms have their own private bathroom, and the pool is a very good size for relaxing, chatting, and having a few drinks. There are countless places to especially eat Javier's Tacos, a stall a few blocks away, Wow!!!!! The esplanade is relatively close for walking. There was no need to rent a vehicle since transportation is easy to find and affordable. Luis the owner of the house had some bottles and some cold beers for check-in. The entire place, and especially the service we received from Luis, was spectacular. Thank you, Luis!!! We hope to return soon.

If I could give Luis and this unit 10 stars, I would without hesitation. I’ve rented dozens of AirBnB units and Luis is by far the most attentive, nicest, and kindest owner I’ve met so far. I was hesitant to rent the unit initially because it was brand new to the market with no reviews, but Luis eased my hesitations from the 1st time we messaged and went above and beyond once we arrived. His home exceeded our expectations plain and simple. It is beautifully furnished, an excellent layout with an abundant use of space (each bedroom with en-suite full bath feels like it’s own suite), and all the little extra details Luis did for us made it feel like home. The private, heated salt water pool in the courtyard, equal sized bedrooms with 3.5 kitchens!!!, WiFi controlled surround sound in every room, snacks stocked in the kitchen, beer and champagne chilling for our arrival,… the list goes on and on. Located in a very central location, this is super convenient for anything in town you want to get to quickly, the area felt safe to walk at night, and Luis also gave us lots of info on Day 1 regarding excellent locally-owned food options within 5-10 min walking distance and even where to get our Covid tests at the end of our trip without any waits or delays. I would recommend this space without hesitation and only hope that I can come back again someday. Good luck Luis with the AirBnB venture and don’t change a thing!!

hacienda tropical has so much personality, so much love and detail into it. Location is awesome, it allows you to really live and feel Mexico. Everything is at walking distance and Luis is in constant communication to make sure everything is going smoothly. Highly recommend it.

Our stay at Hacienda Tropical was amazing! The house is so beautiful, and equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. Anytime we had any questions or needed anything, the host replied within an hour and immediately resolved our request. The location was also perfect - lots of food within a couple blocks, a few blocks to the beach, and an easy walk to the town center. Luis left us snacks and drinks to enjoy when we arrived and gave us a super helpful tour of the house to show us how everything worked. The pool was always heated and so many nice indoor and outdoor areas to spend time in the house. Honestly the nicest air bnb experience I’ve ever had, and definitely want to come stay here again!

Our stay at Hacienda Tropical exceeded our expectations and was an extraordinary experience. I’m new to Airbnb and was not sure what to expect. The hosts were very accommodating with our last-minute reservation. Everything we needed was on-premises, as the hosts anticipated our needs. The house was beyond charming, clean, comfortable, and very spacious. We look forward to booking Hacienda Tropical on our next visit to PV rather than our go-to boutique hotel. We didn’t feel like tourists but like we lived in Mexico. Did I mention the rooftop?
