What a wonderful and beautiful villa, it had all the amenities we were expecting. My family of 13 reunion appreciated the spaces/luxury. We hired Chef Brenda & her dad to make us breakfasts/dinners for 7 days, she was experienced in authentic meals. She charged for shopping and for preparing meals. There was only 1 restaurant within miles it had: wonderful music, service was slow, food was marginal. Adjacent construction, 4 story high building, was continuing. Hot tub was being repaired. Villa was immediately along a pristine sandy beach, though it was difficult to get over the hurricane barrier to get to the sand/ocean. Aside from my negatives comments, those out-way the many, many amenities where this property shined. Owners lived on the property: which was a real plus, very pleasant, helpful with advice, excursions, did shopping and made sure our security felt important, felt like family. Loved the BBQ grill. I will surely return!

Linda and Bill are lovely people. Brenda the housekeeper was a gem. The pool was awesome. However the construction right next door was not awesome.

The property was very nicely kept and the pictures showed what it looked like. The property is far from the stores and restaurants but a restaurant option is next door, which closes at 4. You can easily plan your entire stay without leaving the property. We felt safe and very relaxing. The sunsets were amazing. The beds were comfortable. A drinking water dispenser was available which was nice. The last evening there was a party occurring a couple doors down with DJ therefore took away from a peaceful evening. Aside from that the property was clean, well kept and the gardener and cleaner were around the property if any questions or anything was needed.

Excellent place. We'll definitely be back for another vacation.

Before our arrival, Linda and Bill were incredibly kind and accessible. The villa is in excellent condition, very well maintained, and equipped with everything you need... even more than we expected! Each room was comfortable and perfect for relaxing, and the ocean view along with the pool made our stay simply spectacular. Everything was perfect. Thank you for your hospitality!

We loved staying here. Linda and Bill couldn’t have been more perfect. They pointed us in all the right directions and made sure everything went smoothly. If you do get the chance to stay here, have Brenda cook! Her food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. If you need a driver, have them call Franco. He was great and reliable.

The service was great, the house is very comfortable and with a beautiful view. The temperature of the pool and jacuzzi were perfect. If you are looking for peace and quiet and good service, it is a great option. Thanks again

We were a family of 12 and we had plenty of rooms. The wonderful owners and team were always responsive. Super clean and well organized place. It’s not often, in Mazatlán, you have a pool, hot tub and a beach steps away. I highly recommend a visit, we can’t wait to return. Also, try the restaurant next door!

This place is Amazing!.. the rooms are great and the private pool and Jacuzzi are the best if you have kids. the view is breathtaking at sunset. Linda and her staff are great, really friendly and if you need anything they help you to get it. if what you are looking is a peaceful and beautiful place to be with the family and relax, this is a must!!...

By far the best and funnest airbnb I have stayed at. Such an incredible location and vibe. Linda and her husband were absolutely tremendous! I had so many questions and so many different times of the day for help, and she was active all the time! Loved them. Familia. Definitely going to have to make it a routine thing. Also, the surfs up cafe next door was the most convenient thing ever. Liane and the workers took care of us every morning and afternoon for cocktails, beers, breakfast, lunch, appetizers and more while we sat out on the pool. Linda has all the right connections and people she has known for years that will help you get around the city from her location! She’s got it all. Thank you so much for your hospitality, patience, and grace for my boys reunion.

This place is breathtaking, we had a family gathering and everyone loved it. Linda was a great host, very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice place with beautiful views and very calm, peaceful.

The accommodation was amazing!! Regarding the price, there were more accessible options; however, a traveler had specific requirements for his health condition and wheelchair, which I limit the possibilities a lot. We would definitely stay there again. Everything was excellent.

The entire property is spacious and quiet. The place was very clean when we arrived and the staff took care to keep it that way. Cindy prepared delicious breakfasts for us, and the service was impeccable. We were 15 guests and enjoyed all areas of the house. A guest was in a wheelchair but moved around the villa without any problems, as it is very spacious and easily accessible. The beds are super comfortable. They provide you with plenty of bath and beach towels. Linda is an excellent host.

This is not just an airbnb, this is an experience. From the moment we arrived, Linda, her property, the restaurant next door, the individuals who helped maintain the property, and the experience we had was nothing short of spectacular. On multiple occasions we asked Linda questions, or for help, and she was more than willing to point us in the right direction. The property is kept in immaculate shape, routinely cleaned during your stay, and perched picturesquely over the ocean. The restaurant next store was absolutely delicious, kudos to the chef and the staff who made us feel like family while we were there. Our group has been traveling and staying in airbnb's around the world for many years now and this is the first time there was mention of returning to a location just for the airbnb. We never felt unsafe in the area, and would definitely recommend this property to anyone. It was a memorable week! Thanks Linda!

A highly recommended place!!! Linda is very kind and her house is exactly as shown in the publication, everything in perfect order and very clean, very comfortable rooms, staff who work in the house are very friendly and if you require recommendations from staff for meals she gave them to us and the service was great with Chef Ivan Juárez.

Linda is a fantastic host, always ready to answer questions or help out. Her recommendations for chef services, and airport pickups were invaluable. The property is very clean and the beds are comfortable. Its further from town than we realized so we didn’t end up going in as much as we would have liked. 40 minutes in a red truck for dinner in the historic centre is fun on the first day but not so much after that🤪 It’s a great layout for family reunions, just plan your grocery shops efficiently. The pool heater wasn’t working and it was too cold to use it. In hotter weather it may not have mattered. Linda’s dog, Benji was one of the highlights for everyone. Definitely recommend using Cindy for any meals. She shops for the groceries, prepares delicious breakfasts and dinners and leaves the kitchen sparkling clean for a reasonable cost. Fancy dinners and food tours with Paola from Tomatl are a must. Tequila tour with Ivan is fun and informative. Feb can be cold, bring layers!

This home was amazing and breathtaking. The pictures don’t do the views justice. I will be staying here again. Linda was a great host and the cleaning crew was super attentive.. The beach there is swimmable and very clean. Kids wanted me to post that they already miss Benji!

This was a beautiful home, clean , and bedrooms are very comfortable. It’s a perfect vacation home when traveling with a group . The only inconvenience was the check in was til 3pm and Check out was 10 am . But overall I’d highly recommend it . We all enjoyed it and had a great weekend !

It is exactly what the picture’s say it is. It is a gem. Very clean and they had cleaning services daily a house where you are treated like kings and queens.

Great hostess, has everything ready for you, let’s you know where the nearest places are, and have assistants that help you get food or transportation.

We rented El Sol La Vida for a 3-day guys trip. The accommodations were exactly as listed. The house and grounds were kept very clean and the surroundings couldn't have been better. The weather was cooler than expected in Mazatlán so the jacuzzi was appreciated at night. The kitchen has everything you'd need for a party much larger than ours. It is very convenient having the Surf's Up Café right next door. Their food and drinks were excellent!. We also enjoyed chatting with Linda and Ray, both of which were wonderful hosts. They were there to help with any questions we had about the house, restaurants and sites to see in Mazatlán. We would recommend you rent from Linda and Ray if you're planning a trip to Mazatlán!

Such an amazing spot! The house and pool are perfecto and being right next to Surfs Up is so fun!! Linda and Ray are super helpful and awesome, and Liane at Surfs Up was too! Fantastic vacation! ☀️🏝❤️

Our group had such an incredible stay at El Sol la Vida! The accommodations were gorgeous, the grounds were beautifully designed and kept. On-site hosts Linda and Ray went above and beyond to provide everything we needed at a moments notice, all while maintaining our privacy and personal space. It’s so nice to have a cafe right next door that’s open most days for breakfast and lunch - and live midday music a few days a week! All the rooms were beautiful and our group kept commenting on how comfortable the beds were. The AC worked wonderfully if needed in the rooms as well. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the wares you might need, and the outdoor kitchen and bar is such a fun area to hang out! The view from the upstairs balconies are absolutely stunning. We could not have imagined a better stay for our first time in beautiful Mazatlán. Ray & Linda have truly created something special for groups to experience. We can’t wait to go back!

This place is great! We rented the whole place in January for family vacations. We chose this place beceuse we wanted to be isolated for COVID reasons. This place is right on the beach, great rooms, bathrooms, and great showers on each room. It has a full kitchen and a grill and outdoor kitchen. Daile cleaning, with great service staff. Linda and Ray are present at all times, you will see them when you need them, and at other times you will feel that you have the house to yourself. It has a big pool and a Jacuzzi. Both are heated, although in the summer months you will not need it. There is arestaurant next door that on some days have live music in the afternoon which will give you a good ambiance while at the pool or beach. This is definitely a great place to stay. there is wifi and satellite TV in all rooms. Definitely worth it!
