I would recommend the house because it has a spectacular location right by the lagoon in an area where you can swim. The kitchen has all the amenities, and the air conditioning in the rooms works perfectly. Claudia is an excellent host, and I would definitely recommend her and stay again. Simply the best vacation in the world!! The house is beautiful, comfortable, and my children and nephews and nieces enjoyed it 100%. It has its own dock facing the lagoon where you can go to admire the beauty of the water and the sunrises. It has very shallow swimming areas for children. A 2-minute kayak ride away, there is a shallow area with incredible turquoise water where you can take dreamy photos. Claudia was always attentive and supported us at all times with any issues. It's definitely a beautiful place to come back to!

We had a wonderful stay at this AirBnB. The host, Claudia was very kind and helpful. She had great recommendations for a local taxi company who was always able to provide the transportation we needed. The home was just as described and offered many comfortable places to relax. We loved having our own private access to the beautiful lagoon. On the last night we had an issue with the power going out and Claudia was very responsive and willing to help. Being the evening, she wasn't able to get an electrician to fix it that evening but she was very apologetic and compensated us for our troubles. Overall, we absolutely loved Bacalar and hope to return one day!

Claudia was fast with a same day - really same afternoon- booking. She rushed right over and met us so we could get in after we were left looking for last minute accommodations. The home itself was perfect for our needs, clean and comfortable with cool AC. The view from both the upstairs and downstairs was picture perfect. Abundant hammocks and cushioned outdoor seating made it comfortable to enjoy the whole reason for going, the beautiful lagoon! Furniture and home is well maintained but slightly dated but the beds were comfortable. You felt like you were in her families home which you are. It was a bit of a drive to get to the downtown area so if you don't have a car or want to Uber that might be an issue but if you do have a car the distance allowed us to have a little more peace and quiet. Would stay again!

This house is a gem! Every detail has been thought of and it's very clean and peaceful. Claudia is an excellent host; so kind, attentive and thoughtful. I definitely want to return. There is ample space for 6 or more people, many pretty seating areas and hammocks.

We loved our stay at this property; it has an unbeatable location in a low-lying area, just a short walk from a cenote, with a beautiful view. It had everything listed and even more than we expected. The dock is very beautiful, and the sunrises there are absolutely worth it. We went with a baby, and it had everything for her meals. It's just a few steps away from Cocalitos. Just keep in mind that there aren't many restaurants nearby, and it's far from downtown. We were looking for a place to celebrate a birthday, and we walked a lot. It’s a very nice place to stay—you won’t want to leave, or you can go to nearby places like Cocalitos and Cenote Azul. Claudia was a great host; she let us check in early.

This home was even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the well stocked kitchen with sharp knives made cooking enjoyable. Having Cenote Esmeralda right in front of the house was incredible. The shallow water access made it perfect for swimming and relaxing and truly sets this place apart. Claudia was a wonderful host. Warm, responsive, and welcoming throughout our stay. We would happily return.

We had an amazing vacation at Claudia's house, the sunrises from the balcony were spectacular!! We received the house super clean and tidy, it is in a very quiet area and the lagoon is simply beautiful to enjoy at any time of the day Claudia is an excellent host, she welcomed us personally and made us feel at home. Casa la Vista is a beautiful vacation rental. Booking with Claudia was super easy, she responded promptly to all inquiries and had plenty of local recommendations. The house was well appointed with jugs of water, coffee, tea, a well-equipped kitchen, microfiber towels, bathroom towels, clean linens, PFDs and a kayak. The location on the lagoon is one of a kind with a beautiful dock (the boat tour picked us up right at the dock) for sunning and swimming and a gorgeous second story terrace to enjoy with friends. We would 100% book Casa la Vista again.

My friends booked this location for their vacation. It was wonderful. Claudia was a great host. The property was very well equipped. They could cook, great kitchen utensils and BBQ. It was very clean, and a lovelynplace to relax and enjoy the lagoon. They would gladly return!

The photographs do not do Claudia’s place justice. The location and views are fabulous! We are a family of 6 and there was plenty of space. The rooftop terrace is spectacular and the jetty very pretty. Both for dining and relaxing there is ample room. Would definitely recommend!

what at magical stay. Our party was able to unwind, relax and soak up the lagoon! Bacalar central is only a 7ish minute from the house so it was easily to get there, while still feeling like we had our own piece of paradise. Claudia was amazing. Wonderful communication and she was very helpful, even when we locked ourselves out! Bacalar is a special place and we already looking forward to our next visit. A stay at Claudias is a very special one!

This place is lovely, amazing laguna’s views and lots of amazing places to sit and chill: hammocks, chaises, and comfy couches everywhere! Claudia is an amazing host too! Our large group was very comfortable. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful property on the edge of the lagoon with exceptional views and close to the center. Relatively well equipped house, however some points would be improved especially in the bedrooms (lighting, bedside lamps next to the beds). a washing machine and dryer would be welcome! however, I would recommend this house 100%

My family and I loved this house because unlike Xulhá, here you can see the 7 colors of the lagoon as well as the sunrises 🌅 that are beautiful and in front. The best thing is that we are close to a cenote in the lagoon and even so you go in and there is plenty of room to swim for both children and adults who cannot swim. In any case, the house has vests of different sizes and kayaks. We were very lucky because the days we were there there were no people, and even though it was the end of October it did not rain a single day. Clau is an excellent host, she gives you all the necessary directions to have a great time. Don't hesitate to book with her as she is synonymous with excellence. This house is fantastic! We have stayed at bacalar before but this location with its views is absolutely our favorite spot. Easy to get into the water and multiple areas outside the house to relax and enjoy the view. The house is not fancy so if you expect luxury, this is not it. It is just a really great home for people that want to enjoy the location, water and views of the beautiful lake of Bacalar. The host Claudia was super friendly, helpful and responsive. We will definitely come back!

Best thing about this house is being right on the water. Claudia met us when we arrived and explained everything about the house and was very responsive when we had questions. The house is equipped with everything you need for the outdoors. Bbq, kayaks, life jackets, table, chairs, etc. Inside the house is fully equipped with a well stocked kitchen including drinking water jugs, ice, coffee, paper products, and very good pots and pans for cooking. Great wifi connection for those needing to work a few days. The house is clean and had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. Will definitely come back.

It's a real family home, with Claudia's warm welcome. It's a change from standardized decorations and lockboxes. The huge terrace with a great view, the private pontoon to jump into the lagoon, the kayaks available are all assets of this house. There were five of us, a family of four and a friend. Unforgettable stay.

I couldn't find a comment that did it justice. What surprised me the most is its access to the lagoon. It's perfect for families with small children. You can enter the lagoon. The height is perfect and suitable for children. It's essential to know that you can't access the lagoon from any point. The depth or presence of vegetation are key, but in Casa La Vista they're incredible. Although the panorama is beautiful, what we enjoyed the most was being in the lagoon

What a beautiful place! The colors of the water end up in your peripheral all day, it's amazing. We spent most of our time out on the back dock or in the water, but the home is great too. The AC in the bedrooms works great. It's in a quiet part of town, and just a quick cab to town center. The house was very clean and well equipped! We took advantage of the kayaks and explored the lagoon under a full moon. I'll never forget it. Claudia was a great host upon check in and check out, and was always responsive if I had questions:)

Very pleasant house to stay in, Claudia welcomed us very warmly and answered any questions we had. Access to the lagoon is superb and we used the kayaks available, a real treat. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is nothing missing, towel + those for swimming in microfiber, toilet paper, shampoo, shower gel, paper towels, paper towels, spices, coffee, sugar... Despite the rainy weather at times, we were able to enjoy the covered terrace. Very happy to have stayed in this house for a few days!

The space was just PERFECT! We often travel as a family (8 people) and this is the first time we haven't lacked anything at all (there was enough toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, sugar, spices, wine glasses, kitchen equipment, washing soap, cleaner, shampoo… In addition to having impeccable WIFI!!! There's absolutely nothing missing from this listing. Everything is very clean and tidy. Access to the lagoon is a big plus. Hammocks, sun loungers, dock, kayak and life jackets of all sizes and above all very clean are available. Located a few minutes from the heart of Bacalar, it is desirable to have a car. The accommodation is also very safe. Mention to the host who is impeccable. She answers our questions very quickly and welcomes us with a smile, taking the time to explain the house to us. Sincerely thank you for everything Claudia! One of the best Airbnbs we've done!!! I recommend it without so much as a second thought.

Ahhh Bacalar. You stole my heart. What an absolute gem of a town you are made even better by our stay at Claudia’s beautiful casa. The house felt like old luxury: charming, spacious, gorgeous. Taking a boat tour is a must! The water off our private dock was perfect for viewing and swimming and the roof top patio was our preferred spot for star gazing. We vow to return to Bacalar and will surely look to book Claudia’s casa when we do.

Location in the Laguna is ideal for kayaking and swimming, the house has all the comforts and security for a pleasant stay, the top terrace has an amazing view. We would definitely return to this lodge.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Claudia’s place. Everything was perfect for celebrating my hubbys 60th. We would definitely rent again for a future trip to Bacalar. Comfy beds, and bedding. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of dishes, serving bowls and platters, loved that there were quality pots and knives.

This is a great house on the lagoon in Bacalar. The outside area is really nice and it’s in a good location a short drive to the centre of town.

Firstly Claudia was an amazing host - she was super responsive, and provided many recommendations for our group. The house was amazing - plenty of space and each of the bedrooms had access to bathrooms. The house sits on the lagoon, and is picture perfect, with access to kayaks to use from the houses own jetty! In terms of location - it is a fair walk into town but there are plenty of taxis around which we were able to order through a number that Claudia shared with us. Overall it was amazing and we feel so lucky and grateful to have been able to explore beautiful Bacalar and the lagoon of seven colours 💙

This place was perfect! The house is big and has everything you need. Having the lagoon right outside was amazing. Our group had a fun and relaxing time. Claudia was super nice and accommodating. The house had even more amenities than described and was more beautiful than the pictures even show. It was the perfect spot on the lake with great swimming access and no reeds. The docks, swings, and many hammocks and sitting areas were wonderful. It was safe and secure and very spacious. Private and peaceful yet close to town and fun activities.

The house is beautiful wherever you see it, very central (excellent location), it has everything you need to cook in general, it is very comfortable. There is a Tours agency with two houses with excellent attention as well. Claudia's attention is super fast, friendly and efficient. I would definitely come back.

The house is very spacious and has a spectacular view of the lagoon, and has a spectacular view of the lagoon Includes paddles and kayaks with which we navigate the lagoon. The kitchen is well equipped. The nine people we came slept well and had enough space. The house is also great for coming with children. We would definitely come back.
