If you're driving, bring a canopy, cooler, and beach chairs. The private beach is WAY better than the malecón. There are vendors selling coconuts, mangos, oysters, and clams, along with ATV rentals, banana boat rides, and sombrero rides. The beach itself was amazing. The water was warm and incredibly enjoyable. The house was beautiful. My husband and I stayed in the downstairs king bedroom and were very comfortable. The only downside was that the AC blows directly onto your face while sleeping. My aunt stayed in the other downstairs room, which doesn't have a mini-split, so it does get warmer. Our family stayed in the second-floor rooms and had no complaints. The owner was wonderful. I contacted her a few times during our stay, and she responded quickly and resolved everything right away. Communication is important to me, and she exceeded expectations. The third-floor outdoor viewing area was a great place to relax. Overall, our family had a wonderful stay. We highly recommend!

Our family can’t stop talking about how great Dora’s home is. Easy close walk down to the beach which we had all to ourselves for the majority of the time we were there. We loved the cute and comfortable living spaces and the large roof patio was amazing for family hangouts and star gazing. 10/10

Would love to return in the future. Our hosts was always responsive and helpful and made us feel secure as it was our first time at an AirB&B.

We had an amazing 2-night stay at Dora's place in San Felipe! The house was super clean and in tip-top shape when we arrived. It's close enough to San Felipe to enjoy all the fun stuff, but far enough away to have some peace and quiet. The place is huge, with 5 bedrooms and 2 kitchens, which was perfect for our big group. We loved having a washer and dryer after being on the road for a while. Plus, the two-car garage was great for keeping our cars safe. Dora was super easy to chat with and always replied quickly, which made everything a breeze. The only tiny issue was that there wasn't a clear street number on the house, but we figured out which one it was from the online pics. Some highlights of our stay were the cool, modern design, being close to the beach, and just a short drive from San Felipe's downtown. It was such a relaxing spot to hang out! I'd totally recommend Dora's place to others, especially for big groups or families looking for a chill and comfy spot near San Felip

Has great view the upper level of the house has its own view as well as the second. So close to the beach . Water felt great too. She’s super host, accommodating us at point. My family definitely wants to come back.

We had a great stay at Dora’s house. The two units were very spacious for our group of 13. The house is just across the street from the beach, you just have to go down a couple of flight of stairs. The beach was mainly quiet the time we were there and we had a big part of the area to ourselves. The views from the second and third stories of the house are impeccable!! Would definitely consider this house again for our next trip!

This is a great place if you're planning a multi-family trip. The two separate upstairs and downstairs kitchen were super useful and handy. We did have a bit of an issue with getting hot water to come out of the showers, but thankfully we came during the summertime so it wasn't too bad. Also, the wifi doesn't work in most locations of the house which was a bit tricky, but we ultimately didn't come for the WiFi. Overall, it's a great and beautiful home and I'm so thankful for Dora's fast communication. Definitely recommend going for sunrise walk on the beach or sunset picnics on the 3rd floor terrace.

Dora’s place is a perfect spot that provides relaxation, quietness and amazing views of the beach, sunsets and sunrises! The house itself is beautiful and spotless, plenty room to socialize and an amazing roof top to get away from it all and enjoy the views. The place is very quite, and you are only a few minutes away from the Malecón where you can shop, eat and enjoy the locals! Dora communicated with me at every step of the way to ensure my experience was the best and it sure was! Thank you! Coming back soon!

A very nice house and an excellent location

Great location, steps away from the beach. Dora kept constant communication and made every step of the rental easy. Property was clean and was able to accommodate our 15 people party. Property was within minutes of El Malecon.. which was the populated tourist attraction. We would recommend and visit her rental again.

The house is so much nicer in person than in the pictures, I loved it and I can’t wait to come back.. it’s only a few steps away from the beach, very spacious and lots of parking, it’s very safe. The top decks views are amazing. This is definitely my go to place when I come back to San Felipe.

Our stay was most enjoyable for two families / couple . Lots of privacy as described and views of the ocean. The deck is lovely to feel/hear the wind and the ocean breezes. No furniture though. The main floor residence (3 bedroom 2 bath) is the premier portion of the home with more natural lighting and breezes than the lower level. The place is quite clean and a quick sweep (by us), took our sand away each day to freshen it up. It is well stocked with the essentials. Just a short walk across the street, down the stairs to the sandy beach. The ocean, depending on the tide can be a few short steps away on the beach or a nice long travel on the sand and through inches of water to get to the deeper end of the ocean to swim. Lovely, clean ocean. We found shells and sand dollars to delight us all. We did not enjoy the 4-Runners traveling up and down the beach ... but that is not our style, it may be your family adventure and you would be in good company. The tap-tap trucks serving fresh, fresh drinks (think Pina Coladas) in carved out pineapples drive by regularly on the beach... What service! Do note that you are 2 miles from the hubbub of San Felipe town. So you'll need to drive in for dinner if that be your choice and you are further away from the noise of town central. The view of town and the peninsula is all yours to enjoy!

The house was Equipt with all the necessities and more! San Felipe it’s a beautiful place to spend time with your family and friends. It’s a save town, very laid-back with beautiful sunset and beach. This house was perfect for family, we will definitely go back and stay here again. The kitchen had everything we needed and the house is very clean. The place was beautiful and my family had the best time. The top deck was fabulous - you have the view of the ocean and the desert behind you. Dora was super attentive to all our needs. Now in love with San Felipe even on the wildest weekend (spring break) we got an amazing taste for the culture and all the fun that that involves. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Our family had an awesome stay, house is very spacious and beautiful. We were a party of 3 family’s and never felt crowded. The beds were comfy and the kitchens had everything you need to make a meal. The top deck was huge with great views, we spent most of our time there. Dora was such a great host and answered questions I had prior to our trip, she also gave me tips on the restaurants around. Kids had a great time at the beach each day and access is literally right in front of the house. Thank you Dora, had a great time!

Dora is absolutely fabulous. The house was a three story with a patio and BBQ up top. We watched the sunrise every morning. She sent a text message to remind us to wake up early, as this was a definite must do. The house has five bedrooms and two separate complete kitchens and five bathrooms including one on the upper deck. If you are looking for an outstanding family getaway home In San Felipe, then this is the place. We will be bringing the entire family back

Our stay at Casa Mar Vista was amazing! The house was very nice & clean. It was spacious & what I loved the most was that it had 2 separate kitchens (one on the first floor & the other one on the second floor) I also loved the terrace on the third floor. We used it to barbecue. The house had its barbecue grill & a large table with chairs to enjoy the terrace and it’s beautiful beach view. I loved that the house was in a private neighborhood & only the people in the neighborhood had access to the beach. Even though the house was not on the beach, it was only steps away. I loved it!! I highly recommend this house. Dora (the homeowner) definitively made me feel at home. She made sure our stay was worth it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dora’s place. We had a few issues come up with the house during our two month stay, but Dora addressed each issue immediately. She also gave us great tips on what to eat and do locally. We loved San Felipe and this home was the perfect place for us to enjoy our time in northern Baja.

This home was nice and clean. Prompt communication between the owner and the house attendant. Quiet neighborhood and relaxing atmosphere. The beach was literally steps away and you can almost have the beach to yourself! My family had a blast and we enjoyed our stay at Casa Mar Vista! We will definitely be coming back soon!

This home exceeded our expectations. Dora and Fatima were the sweetest and most attentive hosts. My big family enjoyed the space and openness. It was a nice, quiet, not too crazy town. Dora was a great host and her house keeper is awesome too. Her husband ceviche was on point make sure to try some out. We really enjoyed the house, the ocean being a few feet away and convenient. The quads down the street were super fun and all of us of many ages had a blast (ages 9 - 46). It was a nice house to get away and spend time with my family. We wished we could stay longer and hopefully we can come again.

Casa Mar Vista is an amazing place for everything it offers: privacy, access to amenities (pay TV, internet, cooling, washing and recreation areas), kitchens, dining rooms, and comprehensive rooms. The balconies of the house allow you to enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets, the temperature and quality of the beach in front of the house is great. The facilities of the house are as described and the best part of everything is that Dora and her team at all times worry about answering your questions very quickly, her home is a 100% recommended place.

Dora was a super host, we had great communication with her throughout the trip. The house setup is great for big family vacation, there’s enough space for everyone. It was clean and housekeeper Fatima was very nice as well. Beach access is easy, and downtown was 10mins away. Neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Definitely planning another trip.

Private beach is a walk away and safe for small children. Just up the road there’s small sand dunes and ATVs to rent. The house kitchen is fully equipped.
