A place to disconnect from everyday life and recharge your batteries, very quiet and cozy. Lots of nature and spectacular views of the lake. The facilities are very clean and tidy. We will definitely be back when we need to rest

The location with the view of Lake Arenal is beautiful. The accommodation is well equipped and clean. The hosts respond quickly and are very friendly. I would recommend this place. The only small downside is the internet connection is by satellite, which makes it difficult to communicate by video call. For the rest, everything is beautiful. :-)

This was my second time staying here (this time I brought my partner), and it did not disappoint. Such a beautiful, peaceful place. We're already trying to figure out when we can come back again!

Everything was excellent, the place was beautiful, everything was absolutely beautiful, the restaurant at the end of the street was delicious and with spectacular views. There was a problem on the last day, but talking to the owners they were able to fix the problem perfectly. Everything was wonderful

Everything is great

We only stayed one night but we had a great time! Definitely recommend cafe and macadamia for food and Tia Marilena for an amazing massage. The brewery down the street was also nice. It rained a lot during our stay and the wind and rain were loud hitting the container. The key lock did stick which was annoying since it was pouring rain but overall we had a nice one night stay.

Only stayed one night but it was everything we expected. Host was responsive and very nice! Views are beautiful from the deck, and the brewery down the road was a bonus!

Modern casita with amazing views of Lake Arenal and wildlife. A nice beach at the Tilawa Windsurf Center close by, also short walking distance to restaurant and brewery. Hosts are very welcoming and responsive. Highly recommend for a quiet and relaxing stay.

We were only there for one night but found the place as described. It was really quite comfortable. The view of the lake from the deck is incredible. We went a short way down the drive to the Lake Arenal Brewery for dinner. Great burgers there. I would totally recommend Luisa’s place.

Place was as described. Beautiful setting. We went to the brewery for dinner the only night we stayed. Service was slow as was our food even though there was only one other visible table being waited on. However food was decent. Luisa’s place is a great location for our trip on the way to the Arenal volcano and La Fortuna trip. Highly recommend. Seemed clean and information to get inside was clear. Thank you for starting off our trip with a great place!

Stayed one night in transit during our trip, a very peaceful spot and comfortable bed. Gusting wind off the lake which we liked to listen to. Had a great burger just down the road at the brewery too! Would come back

I had such a wonderful experience here. Everything surpassed my expectations. The location is magical — extremely private but not isolated, and walking distance from a fantastic craft brewery/restaurant. I also saw so many toucans, monkeys, and other wildlife around the property! Truly a special place. I'd absolutely come back!

Great little spot. Beautiful view. Wru dark of arriving at night, it the view in the morning is spectacular. The shower is small, but great water pressure and hot water. The Airbnb was just as described. The place was Super clean and the bed is very comfortable. Lake Arenal Brewery is a 2mim walk down the hill. The food there was great and the mojitos were delicious!

We would go again without any hesitation. The beautiful views, the super nice place, very clean, make you feel at home, we run into Luisa and her husband on the way out and they are too friendly a couple. We would recommend it to eyes closed. There are some lovely dogs 🫶🏻

This place was private enough yet close to all our activities during our stay. Very easy check in instructions and a comfortable nights sleep. We would definitely stay again!

Luisa’s place was just what I needed. A great spot to explore the area with a fantastic view of Lake Arenal. It felt very private and peaceful. Very clean and with all the amenities I needed. And Costa Rica’s first craft brewery is just a short walk down the road!

Simply loved the view, the bungalow and area. Would always book again! Everything was clean and the kitchen was equipped well.

If you are looking for a place to disconnect, this is the one. It's worth the trip for more than one night. The Malinche is just as seen in the photos, clean, equipped and with a beautiful view. The helpful hosts.

Absolutely amazing place, we could stay here for weeks. Beautiful view of the lake and a very comfortable place. Luisa was great about suggesting local attractions and hot springs! Best part was hearing the monkeys and birds.

Luisa's studio is wonderful! It's clean, spacious, has everything you need from a coffee maker (essential!) to a toaster (a rarity in Costa Rica) to a modern, clean shower (also a rarity in Costa Rica!). The bed is big and comfy and it's a perfect place to vacation or work from. Luisa is a lovely host who grew up here and has an abundance of great recommendations for things to do and places to go. This studio is one of the few stays on the lake where you can walk to the lake (you do have to walk on the road for a bit) For being a small space, it feels big on the inside, and the lake view is great! I highly recommend staying here

This was a beautiful spot with a beautiful view just a two minute drive to a public piece of the lake. The little Casita came clean and furnished and was extremely comfortable. I was able to make a few meals here too. It's not ideally located if you're looking for night life, but if you want a little slice of quiet and away, this place is gorgeous.

Loved it! We were very impressed by the view, wildlife, and cleanliness. We heard howler monkeys in the trees a few times! So cool! This spot has such an amazing view of Lake Arenal. The host was accommodating and friendly. Key exchange was very simple as well. Big plus is walking distance to Lake Arenal Hotel & Brewery which has stellar food! This Airbnb is the perfect home base near Arenal to go exploring. Definitely a memorable and gorgeous place.
