We couldn’t get over this charming place! So much character and exactly fit our needs.

Juan Pedro arranged seamless transport from the airport with Cesar. We were met by Veronica who cleaned weekly and provided jugs of water or anything else we wanted. She was a quick message away and lived close by. We loved the villa from first sight! It exudes Mexican charm and comfortable luxury. Views are breath taking and often during February and March we watched whales from our terrace. The location was great as we septuagenarians walked daily into town then took a cheap Uber home. There are innumerable international stands and restaurants where you can spend as much or as little as you wish to sample outstanding cuisine. We were there for six weeks, ate out daily and were never sick nor bored. We had family and friends visit and had plenty of space. There are three levels each with full bathrooms and furnished balconies. Finally, a shout out to Lars who was committed to our safety and comfort. We were ready to return next year but the villa has been booked. Thank you all!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Really close to the Romantic Zone 5 minute taxi cab ride. Large bedrooms and bathrooms, not a lot of stairs to climb to enter or reach bedrooms. We had an 11th month old with us and he had plenty of room to roam. Great ocean views. Juan was extremely accommodating and responsive to any questions or concerns we had. The price is right on this one. Will look at renting again in the future.

Location is awesome, walk into zona romantica our daily exercise! The property is absolutely Mexican in flavor, we really enjoyed that. As mentioned in other reviews it is starting to show it’s age a bit, but Julio (host) Vero (cleaning)and her husband Cesar (taxi) were amazing

Juan is definitely the best host I’ve ever had. His communication and responsiveness is AMAZING. We had a bachelorette party with 9 girls and Juan helped me plan everything every step of the way. From private chefs & yacht, to booking a mariachi band. All of his recommendations were THE BEST. He took care of so much & truly lightened the load of planning. The home itself is beautiful & relaxing. We felt very safe and secure. This Airbnb is truly a gem. We will be back. Thank you Juan!

We just wrapped up a two month stay in Casa Tortuga. It’s a lovely, comfortable old villa with great views of Bahia Banderas. We saw whales, dolphins, and all sorts of boating activities from balconies. The location is a convenient walk to the heart of the romantic zone. During our time there we had various family and friends join us. There is plenty of room to spread out. The pool in the living room was well used. But what makes the stay especially memorable are the good people who tend to the property. We can’t say enough about how attentive, caring and warm they are. It turned out to be more than just another enjoyable stay. They made us feel like we were at home with family. Really! Spoil yourself. Stay here for a bit and sink into Mexican hospitality and lifestyle!

Juan is an amazing host, we had an issue with our dog and plumbing, but Juan was so calm and easy to work with to resolve the problem. He even allows us to keep staying in his house regardless of it. We are so grateful. The house has amazing views. Easy access to the beach and restaurants. Amazing experience overall. Everyone loved the house and had a great time.

We just enjoyed a wonderful stay at Juan’s place! The pros Juan is very fast to reply and was very helpful The view was amazing The set up of the condo is great. If you’re traveling with two other couples it’s like everyone has their own suite The cons If you’re a light sleeper, the road noise from the busy street below might be an issue Pool is unheated and is mostly in the shade. Juan coordinated some chefs to cook for us a couple of the days. Esmeralda and Nina were wonderful! We highly recommend them for a memorable and tasty experience!

We booked this home for a bachelorette trip for 10 girls. The house was beautiful, private, gated and safe. It’s an indoor outdoor vibe with the entire downstairs open and looking out over the ocean. We used Esmeralda the chef’s recommend through JP and they were phenomenal, even taught us to make tortillas. The location of the home was walkable to town but we ended up using Uber too. Juan made it easy to get water daily. Highly recommend this home!

Beautiful authentic Mexican home, we enjoyed our stay very much and felt right at home, Juan Pedro was an amazingly accommodating and responsive host, we could not ask for better! This home is in a great location, easily walkable to all the action and a quick $3-$5 taxi ride back. The pool is chilly and only gets sun in the afternoon, but it's very refreshing on a hot day. The views are spectacular and we saw whales or dolphins almost every day. My only suggestion would be to add a few new pots and pans and some better knives for those who like to cook, other than that it was perfect!!

This place was great for our family vacation. Plenty of room for us to relax and enjoy the beautiful view! Juan Pedro was an excellent host who was very responsive and helpful in every way. There is plenty to do near by and everything is a very quick Uber. We really enjoyed our stay!

My friends and I had the best week staying at Juan’s airbnb. The house is beautiful and included every amenity we could have needed. The washer and dryer was great! Juan was the best host as he was quick to respond to every message and help us with anything. He stocked the fridge for us before we arrived (upon request) and kindly checked in with us to make sure we were happy. This airbnb is so beautifully decorated - not to mention it has an amazing view of the ocean. The house is a great location with just a 15 minute walk to downtown! Overall, we had an amazing time and I could not recommend this airbnb or host enough. Thank you, Juan!

VERY GOOD SERVICE RECOMMENDED...

Juan, is a great host. He was very helpful finding transportation to and from the airport, also a contact for excursions. We had a great time visiting. The location is about a 3 us dollar urber to anywhere in town. The only negative would be the beds are very very firm.

Casa Tortuga is fantastic! The classic Mexican architecture of the house with the luxurious finishes, pool, and layout make it a fantastic home for larger groups visiting Puerto Vallarta! The house is a bit on a hill but everything is walking distance or a $3-5 Uber. The view from each of the the bedrooms and living room is breathtaking, especially at sunset! Our group enjoyed the house and Juan was tremendously helpful and available anytime we had a question! 5 stars!

Juan and his home were absolutely incredible. He helped my plan out so many things, from activities, to groceries, to a chef. You name it he did it. The house is stunning, you can’t beat the view. I truly can’t say enough things about this home, and the owner himself. You will not regret staying here. Thank you Juan for sharing your beautiful home, and people with my friends. Book it now. You will not regret it. We were blown away by the views and loved being so close to town (about a 20 minute walk away, a beautiful walk mind you).

The view from this place is incredible. It’s incredibly close to the romantic zone and the open air concept of the entire place really helps you realize the beauty of PV. Juan is very easy to work with and very responsive. Totally recommend this for your next stay.

Amazing location. Close enough to downtown but far enough to be quiet. Juan and Olga are amazing hosts. Juan responds to every msg very fast and is very helpful. Olga is the sweetest woman in the world. She is always happy to help in anyway and offer any recommendations. The house is super clean and has the most amazing views and sunsets in PV.

This villa was so beautiful, the pool was just what we needed on a hot day, each bedroom has ac, the bed we slept in was firm but comfortable, and the hosts made certain we had everything we needed, and were very pleasant! We would definitely come back!
