Our stay in Hacienda Pinilla was really great. We had a fantastic family reunion. The house was lovely but the exceptional part was the outdoor living space. Everything was very comfortable and the owner was very kind and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this property.

The house is big, the property is huge, and the kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It has high ceilings. We went during Easter, and obviously, that's the hottest time of the year, so if you're Costa Ricans and can bring some extra fans, I recommend it. The house is rustic and decorated in a rustic style, with large, beautiful hallways. In the mornings, squirrels and little birds come, which is ideal for unwinding. I loved it. Playa Lagartillo is 3 blocks away. It's advisable to go at low tide to enjoy swimming; when the tide rises, the waves are strong. Avellanas is beautiful and close by, but it still has strong waves. I loved it

The description does not clearly state that some appliances do not work, and no immediate assistance is offered. YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND. The service was terrible for my liking. They don't have any maintenance staff to help you.

This is half lie, half unfair. But airbnb won't take it down. I absolutely refunded her. And it was Easter Sunday and the stove didn't work and I told her the lovely repair man could come at 11am. But she said they couldn't wait for that, so I told her I would refund her, easy peasy. I understand it upset her, but she was refunded, in fact, I offered before she could even ask. I was attentive and responded, updating her every 30 minutes letting her know he woudl be there at 11am. She found another place. That was fine, and I refunded. She wanted me to personally deposit the money to her account which I declined to do and told her it came through airbnb. We have wonderful maintenance full time, but Sunday is their day off, they will always come on call, I let her know he would be there at 11am on Easter Sunday.

We loved staying in this location! The house is exactly like the pictures and lots of room for 3 families to stay! We really enjoyed the pool and having the beach club to go to when we wanted was awesome :)

Really enjoyed our stay! Close to the beach and some really nice cafes/restaurants. Jessica has a list of recommendations of stuff to do/eat/see in the area which was very appreciated! We did have some issues with the toilet but we easily and quickly had someone come over to fix it!

Nice place to stay close to the beach, that’s about all that’s there. Definitely need a car if you’re here. Jessica was helpful when the washing machine was broken and had it fixed the next day. The beach was nice and always very private. The howler monkeys visit often which was fun. I had to wash all the dishes when we got there as they were pretty dirty. Bring clothes pins if you plan on hanging clothes as it’s windy and there aren’t many. Check appliances before grocery shopping planning to use them, some didn’t work. The house could use some maintenance, a lot of the screens had holes and toilet clogged often. Jessica was very accommodating with our reservation change.

Amazing house and host. Have stayed here other times and there’s always an improvement. It now has a ping pong table which was a hit. Jessica is super responsive and helpful. Would love to stay here again

I enjoyed the stay, upstairs, it smells a little musty, but the house is very good. The pool area with barbecue is sensational

Loved that place. Perfect for surfing Avellanas and Playa Negra. Perfect kitchen, really good shower. Have been in that area already before. Spot to park your car and nice outdoor area.

Our stay at Jessica ’s place was fantastic! The house was impeccably clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. Jessica was very accommodating and provided great local tips. We can’t wait to come back! Pura Vida

I had an amazing time at this Airbnb. Absolutely gorgeous and the host is extremely responsive and helped us anytime we needed help. She’s so nice! We had a blast here, felt right at home. Please note: it’s best to get a car to get in and out as this is a secluded area (which we completely loved!!) would come back in a heartbeat!
