The Space

This rustic home is located on a spacious 5-acre lot in Playa Lagartillo, just a short 300-meter walk along a footpath to the beach. It features two bedrooms plus a loft and can comfortably accommodate up to seven guests. The house boasts high 30-foot ceilings and excellent ventilation, providing plenty of open space.

Inside, you will find a flat-screen TV and new 50/50 Mbps fiber optic internet, ideal for remote work. The property includes a wrap-around porch and is surrounded by lime, palm, and mango trees. Horses often roam the yard, and monkeys are frequently seen, especially during mango season.

Please note, the house does not have air conditioning. If you require AC, this is not the right place for you.

Location

Situated between Playa Negra and Avellanas, the property offers access to two world-class surf beaches within 2 kilometers. The setting is rural and peaceful, with dirt roads, local wildlife, and a laid-back atmosphere. This is a rustic home on the beach, not a hotel, so guests should expect some natural elements like geckos, dust, and occasional spiderwebs.

Important Information

• There is no air conditioning; the interior temperature will be similar to outside.
• The house is divided into two sections: the front unit (for guests) and a back apartment with a separate entrance. A door between the two can be opened if a large group rents both sides.
• Outdoor security cameras monitor only the exterior corridors; no cameras are inside the house.
• Guests are asked to keep all property gates closed due to the presence of horses.
• Water comes from a private well; please conserve water. Drinking the tap water is safe, but bottled water is available if preferred.
• Toilet paper should be disposed of in the bin, not flushed.
• The property is rustic and rural, so expect dirt roads, local animals, and natural surroundings.
• Guests with limited mobility or specific concerns about road conditions, weather, or location are encouraged to contact the host before booking.
• The property is priced at $40 per night during low season, reflecting its rural, rustic nature.

Guest Access

Guests have access to the garage and the washing machine located at the back of the house, which is shared with guests staying in the back apartment.
