It's a very large place and perfect for staying with your family

The house is excellent for a large family… My family is very grateful, and this trip will always be part of our family memories, since we celebrated our parents' 50th anniversary. This was a fantastic spot to have my Bachelor Party. We were 12 and we all enjoyed our own bed! Carmen was great to deal with and always was quick to respond when we had a question.

Our extended family of 11 (mainly adults with kids ranging in age from 3-12) spent a week in this private house. The private pool was great. Carmen was a responsive host with plenty of local recommendations. The house has many bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and shower. The kitchen is galley style with just essential cookware (no oven, but gas burners/elements); Carmen provided larger bottles of drinking water. The house has lovely views of the hills and is a ten minute walk to the main town centre. Sayulita was a great destination choice with great swimming beaches and plenty of activities (boating, surfing, tequila tastings) and restaurants easily accessible. We rented a car from PVR airport, which made getting around and out of town easier. The house was on a dirt road, with friendly dogs and chickens roaming.

We really liked El Swell Surf, there was plenty of room for our group of 13 adults and 3 children, there were even places left over. The place where we spent the most time was in the pool and surroundings, we really enjoyed this space and we also used the grill and kitchen almost every day. The location is very good as there are shops and food for sale nearby, and the beach is within walking distance. Carmen was available at all times and the house staff also supported us a lot. I would definitely return to this beautiful place in Sayulita.

We had an incredible stay at this house in Sayulita. Our group of 13 had plenty of space, and the layout made it super comfortable for everyone. The pool was a total highlight—perfect for relaxing and hanging out together. The location is spot on—just a short walk to town, but still tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. We had a couple of small hiccups during our stay, but Carmen was amazing and sorted everything out quickly. Carmen was super accommodating—she let us leave our bags after check-out, which made things so much easier for us. Highly recommend this spot for a group trip. Thanks so much for having us!

Carmen was a wonderful host. She allowed us to drop our bags early upon arrival and was very prompt with her response whenever we needed anything. The pool and shaded common area were great. The space was perfect for our group.

Great rental. We were a large group, and we all enjoyed having ou separate beds. It super walkable to downtown as well. Would book again

We had a great stay at Carmen's Villa. The space was exactly as listed, with a great location and beautiful pool. Carmen was an excellent host, providing very quick communication and helping with all of our questions. I would happily stay here again and recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting the area.

We had a great time in Sayulita for a girls trip! This was a great spot for a big group (9) we all had our own rooms, enjoyed the pool and were able to walk just about everywhere we needed for all the activities. Some reviewers noted that the kitchen was not adequate for lots of cooking but we had no issue with the amenities including having a catered meal cooked for us by a local chef and making daily breakfasts for our big group. Carmen was really responsive for a few things that were addressed immediately which was great! Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay in Sayulita.

Came here with a group of friends to celebrate my bachelor party. The place left enough room for everyone to have their own space and enough room for everyone to gather. Highly recommend reaching out to Orlando thru Carmen for a great catered meal!

Good location, access to two main roads to get right into town. Carmen was very responsive, and helpful. The house had lots of space for our entire party.

Was a great stay! Carmen, replies quickly and efficient if there was a problem! Close to town, but renting a golf cart is probably needed. With the golf carts it’s easier to get places, but for sure not needed! Great house with many different rooms which is nice for a big group of people to have their own space!! Very beautiful house, but downfall the water for showering doesn’t stay hot long. Overall the stay was amazing! Would recommend this house to anyone :)

Great spot to stay in Sayulita. 7 minute walk to the beach and just far enough away from the town square to get a quiet night’s sleep. Rented out the entire compound for a bachelor party and we had a blast. Would definitely recommend for a large group.

Perfect for a large group of friends! We enjoyed the communal outdoor spaces most, but the rooms are great and individually lockable! Mattresses are quite hard. About a 10 minute walk from town, but mixed terrain (you can get downtown on paved roads but it's the longer way). Carmen was responsive by text, gave local recommendations, and set us up with local tours and drivers. Pool was maintained daily as well, and we used it quite a bit. The railing upstairs is a little bit low for the deck height, could be considered dangerous. Overall we loved the house and loved Sayulita!

Our group of 12 had an amazing stay at Carmen's! The property is very well laid out with plenty of room for the group to hangout together either near the pool or the balcony area. The location was very close to town with just a 10-min walk maximum, plus you walk right past Taco Tono! Carmen was very accommodating and responsive, would definitely stay again with a large group!

Carmen was a responsive host who was super helpful! She helped schedule surf lessons for us. We were 16 and loved having the place to ourselves. Great outdoor space to hang, and lots of bathrooms!

Wow! We had a blast. This location worked perfectly for our party of 16. Plenty of room for everyone. The pool was a great hang out area, the twinkle lights on the patio are a nice touch to spend your late evening hours on the patio with friends and family. Great proximity to town. Short walk to the surf break and more importantly a short walk to the endless taco stands and amazing restaurants and bars. We will definitely be coming back in the near future. 🤙🏼

Carmen was an incredible host, very responsive and helpful with giving recommendations for our group. She helped organize a surf lesson for a big group of us with transportation and all, and answered any and all questions quickly. The space was huge and perfect for our group of 13 people having a bachelorette party. Everyone had our own beds! It honestly could have fit many more people comfortably. The common spaces are outdoors and beautiful and peaceful. We had a chef come and cook for us one night and they were able to make everything with the kitchen setup. It's a quick max 10 min walk to town, which was perfect since it is super close but means it's not too loud at night. I'd highly recommend Carmen's place for big groups and special occasions.

We rented the entire villa for 8 days for our extended family of 16 (10 adults, 6 kids) and we had a blast! The pool and surrounding area was perfect for quiet moments and it was easy enough to zip into town on golf carts. Carmen was very responsive and had tons of helpful suggestions for our time in Sayulita. We'll be back and we'd love to stay with Carmen again!

We had a group of 8 and had an amazing stay at the villa. Carmen was a great host who was very communicative and flexible with our arrival time as we changed it up a handful of times and saved us when somebody got locked out of their room. The house itself is very cool with all outdoor communal areas and a pool. Everything was very clean, and it was about an 8-10 minute walk to downtown while being far enough away to not hear anything going on downtown. It was very quiet and great to chill with friends(or family) and enjoy the beautiful town.

Villa El Swell was the PERFECT location for our group. We loved the indoor/outdoor nature of the home and common spaces (the upper deck is great for stargazing), and the proximity to town meant we could easily walk home (and eliminate the need for a golf cart). The pool is refreshing, and the kitchen was great for the chef we hired. The rooms are beautifully minimalist, and you can hear the sounds of nature as you wake up in the morning - the whole effect is very calming. The home is very spacious and can host many people (at peak, we had 14 people that fit comfortably between the rooms). Carmen is an amazing host, who is very responsive and helped us anytime we had questions or concerns. They also host a surf school and have an impressive selection of boards for rent. Overall, a magical experience in Sayulita, would absolutely recommend it.
