Verna's place is beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable. The beach is gorgeous, with powdery-soft sand and crystal clear water. And the pool is incredible. It is easily the hugest and most beautiful I've ever seen, with bridges and islands. It's a great refuge to relax in a tropical paradise. Just a few minutes drive from the fun of Fifth Avenue, a must-see for shops, bars, and restaurants. Highly recommend for families or people looking for a beautiful, relaxing vacation.

First, I would like to thank our host Verna & her husband for great communication before & during our stay. Second, our concierge, Jose Luis, was amazing from the beginning to the end! We came into Playa Del Carmen before hurricane Beryl touched down and he made sure we were checked in and had everything we needed to make it through the storm. Lastly, the condo is beautiful!! The pictures don't do enough justice for how amazingly put together it is. Everything that you could need for pool/beach day is provided. Perfect location. About 10 mins from Calle Cinco. All attractions/excursions are within 30 mins. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone planning to stay in Playa del Carmen. We will definitely be planning to return our stay with Verna!

Our family had an amazing time at Rich and Verna's place and we can't say enough good things about it. We've stayed a lot of Airbnb's and this was one of the best. Location was inside a newer and secured condo development, with beautiful well kept grounds, amazing pool that was huge and clean, and beach access with umbrellas and lounges provided by the staff. On site restaurants were pretty good too and downtown PDC was only about 10 min drive away with tons to do and eat. The unit looked just like the pics and was perfect for a family of four, very clean and quiet with a nice balcony to relax on in the morning or evening. Rich and Verna were very responsive and friendly and provided great recommendations for where to eat - I think we tried most of the spots they recommended and were not disappointed. Luis, their concierge, was also helpful and very responsive. We can't recommend this enough and would definitely consider coming back.

We had an amazing stay! Absolutely beautiful beach, wasn’t busy at all. Everybody was super friendly. It was very easy to get a taxi, only a short 5-10 minute drive to 5th Avenue, and from there everything was walkable. The place was very clean, we loved to sit on the balcony!

Relaxing trip. We had a lovely visit to this beautiful condo. It is just as pictured, with lovely décor, comfortable beds and a fully stocked kitchen. The pool and beach were fantastic. The hosts go out of their way to make our trip stress free and Luis was available to answer all of our questions. We will be back!

Everything was just as advertised, the apartment is very nice and the neighborhood where it is located is beautiful. Access to the beach is private and super simple, and the beach is beautiful. The only negative point is that the pool is not heated and the water was quite cold for the temperature it was, but this is beyond the apartment's control. I'd go back again.

This place is just amazing. Has everything you need to enjoy nature. The surrounding areas are full of it and the temperature pool makes it even better. We had one cloudy day and the pool saved the day. The apartment is exactly as the pictures, comfortable and cozy. Beautiful place. Verna and Rich are very responsive and concerned about our comfort. The concierge Luis was friendly and helpful. Thanks for allowing us to make great memories.

Thank you for a wonderful experience! One thing that really stood out to us was how responsive and attentive the host was. Whenever we had a question or needed assistance with something, the host was always available to help and replied to our messages immediately. This level of customer service really made us feel valued as guests and helped to make our stay even more enjoyable. Another highlight of our stay was that we had everything we needed, from booking transportation to making restaurant recommendations. We felt very well taken care of and appreciated the extra effort that they put in to make our stay more enjoyable.

Excellent facilities of the apartment and the pool. The beach was also great, with little swell, but yes, some sargazo, although the latter has nothing to do with the place, which we highly recommend for those looking for a vacation with a lot of tranquility, excellent service and comfortable facilities.

Wonderful stay at Mareazul. The condo is just as described and as shown in the pictures. Spacious, clean, has all needed amenities, and everything you need for a home away from home vacation. Loved the pools, loved the food at the property restaurant, loved the service, and of course Luis, the concierge in charge, was the best. You can’t go wrong with a stay at Verna’s Mareazul condo.

I stayed at Verna's condo for a month while working remotely. WiFi was fast, the place spotless (weekly maid service is included), and a stones throw away from relaxing at the pool, bar, or beach. Very easy to cook your own meals, (Chedraui is best quality grocery store) or take a taxi into town for dinner. Usually we would rent a car on weekends to go explore the Yucatan (we used Europcar). If you are looking for a tropical escape, I highly recommend staying at Verna's!

Awesome condo! We had a wonderful experience at Verna’s condo. She went above and beyond with all the information provided. Very detailed instructions and recommendations. All of the restaurant recommendations where awesome and on point. We also prepared our breakfasts and ate at the pool restaurant a couple of times. The condo management company representatives Luis and Fernando where very helpful and friendly. Luis was always available and answered our questions promptly. Will definitely return again. We do recommend you rent a car if you are staying here, unless you want to stay and relax the whole time. Easy to get taxis on location also. The complex was very well maintained and secured. Plenty of space for a family of 5 or more. The location is halfway between Cancun and the parks. There where lots of Covid test labs and mobile labs available in Playa del Carmen. We used La Clicsa Laboratorio. Gracias por todo 👍❤️
