Heather,<br/>I’m really sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet your expectations. We always strive to make our guests happy, so your feedback is important to us. But in this case parties are not allowed, and you brought a Norteño band, and left trash bags all over the place with food and beer cans all weekend, so my other guest complained, asking us to go and clean. This is a Boutique Hotel, and you do not own common areas, there are other guests that wish to enjoy the pool. Your party was on Saturday, and I came Monday at 9:30 am inside the Hotel, I didn’t come inside the Villas or Studios, I came to check with my other guest and I confirmed how dirty and disorganize my place was, so I texted you to confirm that there would be an “extra charge for cleaning”. This is because common areas floors are sand washed, there were spots from beer and from food everywhere, so we had to power wash to remove all dirt. I walked outside and saw you, I was being nice and said hello, but you were upset because I was already there before checking out time, I am sorry, but I have access to my place at any time in common areas to inspect, as any other Hotel. I didn’t want to argue with you, so I removed my housekeeper from common areas, and stopped the others from coming in. You said that you will clean before leaving, but 1.5 hrs is not enough time. You removed trash bags and kind of put back all outdoor furniture, but didn’t clean or wash the floors or grill.<br/>Yes, there are some damages reported: new swan float damaged, broken umbrella, forks, spoons, corkscrew, and knifes missing, besides I had to bring 4 maids to power wash, plus extra chemicals for the pool, since I had a check in this same day.<br/>If you’re interested in learning more about Airbnb's OFFICIAL party ban policy, you may check it in their Terms of Service. Sadly, violating these rules have consequences.
