Stunning setting, lots of wildlife and just as described. Relaxing setting or great place to explore from. The house is beautiful and open air. The hosts did everything possible to make our stay comfortable.

If you love nature and wildlife this place is for you! Pascal was a great host, we arrived in the middle of a rain storm and he came down to meet us to escort us to the house so we didn’t get lost. It was raining so hard when we arrived we couldn’t take in the beauty until the next morning. You feel like you’re saying in a treehouse, and the parrots make sure you are up in time to watch the sun rise over the bay. We saw more wildlife during our stay at the house then the whole rest of our trip in Costa Rica. The ocean in front of the house is perfect for swimming, it’s warm and no surf, and the beach feels completely private, we only saw a handful of other people. We had a slight issue with the water but pascal came down to help and even brought us fresh eggs from his chickens. The absolute highlight was waking up to a text from pascal that there was a sea turtle hatching release, we rushed to get down to the beach and had a beautiful morning releasing baby sea turtles!

A beautiful secluded place in paradise. Pascal and Manuel were excellent hosts and helped to set us up with a tour of Corcovado, as well as a snorkeling and dolphin watch. Manuel was super helpful when we arrived and assisted me in ordering takeout food for delivery! All around awesome place at the end of a long bumpy road, but well worth the privacy and serenity.

What a place! If you are looking to disconnect but still have some amenities, this is the place to be! Great host and highly recommend the private chef, if available. Would give it 6 stars if I could!

We had a lovely stay in the Osa Peninsula. The house was just as described and such a unique experience for my family. The views were awesome and the house very comfortable. The fans helped a lot with the heat. Pascal was great at answering all questions and helping us arrange tours. Manuel was helpful on site. It was a wonderful stay!

Outstanding! Exactly as described. A quiet little oasis of paradise. Beach was great for swimming. Went on a private horseback beach ride where the guide picked us up in the driveway, zip lined through the canopy jungle, saw macaws everyday in the yard, experienced the local cuisine, went on a nighttime jungle hike. Monkeys, macaws, frogs, snakes, lizards, and so much more. Landscape was lush and amazing. A perfect Costa Rica experience.

The location is amazing. The beach was perfect for swimming and was nearly always deserted. The garden in the back is teeming with wildlife ... especially the giant tree, where 10 howler monkeys showed up and stayed for about 3 days, plus a sloth that stayed for several days. There were many macaws visiting the almond trees and making lots of noise. The connection to the wildlife was really amazing. We also really enjoyed horse-back riding, our tour with Manuel, the kayak tour, and the boat ride where we saw even more animals. The house itself is very open, so it's important to keep up with sweeping in the kitchen to prevent ants. In some of the bedrooms there were many small bugs, but we did get used to it. I was worried about a big gap in the staircase and Pascal brought someone to come and fix it, which I really appreciated. In all, it was a wonderful place to be if you are looking for a private wild place in the jungle where you can experience a lot of nature.

We spent some wonderful days with two couples in the house on the beach. The open spaces on the ground floor give you the feeling of being right in the jungle even though you are well protected. The open kitchen and the wonderful view from the bedrooms impressed us very much. You can safely swim in the sea after a few meters to the beach and later shower in the garden. Thanks also to Manuel for the good care, the tips (otherwise we would have missed the sloth). 😉 This is really a magical place if you want to be close to nature!

We loved staying in Pascal and Manuel’s beach house in proximity to Puerta Jiménez. Private and peaceful with a great beach to swim at. We slept great hearing the waves break at night. Loved waking up with the birds. Star gazing was good. A sloth greeted us when we arrived. We saw dolphins while swimming one morning. Pascal’s guide recommendations were truly excellent! We recommend Gerson highly. Made breakfast every morning. Ate other meals out locally. Seafood, Costa Rican, Italian, Pizza and lovely cafe Aventura for lunch. 20 minute drive on gravel road to town but you cannot beat this location in our opinion. The bumpy road is part of the adventure. Bugs not an issue either. We hope to return with friends!

We loved our private time in the house and surrounding forest, beautiful sunrises and a swim in the ocean every day at 4:30. We saw whales, dolphins, all four types of monkeys and a large variety of birds Pascal helped us take several day adventures including fishing, a guided walk in Corcovado, hiking in the forest.

We had an absolutely amazing time in Pascal's paradise, and would come back again in a heartbeat. The beach was footsteps away, and we were often the only ones in sight. Easy swimming (no currents or big waves in the gulf) and the outdoor shower and foot rinse kept the sand outdoors and not in our living space. The surrounding small jungle featured macaws and howling monkeys to our delight. Pascal was incredibly responsive to all our messages, providing helpful information (and a whole guide to the area) even before arrival. We took advantage of Pascal's connections to activities and used his guides for a Corcovado hike, bird watching guide, dolphin watching and snorkeling trip, massage, and many cab rides into town. Every guide/hired staff was incredible, friendly, informative, and knowledgeable. Top notch. Thank you, for an amazing vacation!

We spent a week with our two children in the beautiful house by the sea. The sunrises, the monkeys that visited us one day, the beautiful beach and the well-furnished house were perfect for us. It is a unique experience to be able to be in nature like this! Manuel lived in the back of the house and was present with his loving nature (took the mill away, wiped the floor daily and told us a lot about the animals and about his work with the turtles) but also made everything very discreet. We felt very comfortable with him. Pascal booked activities for us and was always very accommodating. We can only recommend it and would come back immediately if it were not such a long journey for us!

Can't say enough about our stay! From the beautiful house to the pristine beaches! Pascal and Manuel are the nicest people who did everything to ensure we had a great stay, not just at the house, but during our visit to Puerto Jimenez. Monkeys everywhere, bioluminescence on the beach in front of the house, and Manuel's work with turtle conservation, and the beautiful ocean views reminded me every day why I fell in love with the OSA four years ago. Thank you Pascal and Manuel for a wonderful stay!

This beautiful place is an absolute paradise. This wonderful house is located in the middle of nature and by the sea. The facility is furnished with love and our dear hosts Pascal and Manuel were always there for us and helped us a lot. Manuel was our contact person on site. He is a nature photographer and he was so nice and showed us many animals in the area. Here you can really relax very nicely.
