This house is so beautiful!! It was truly a unique and memorable experience for our family of 5. We did a lot of exploring near the house, climbing rocks and walking the long empty beach. We saw whales and dolphins right from the property, and the sound of the waves all night was so cool. There are so many fun spaces to relax and take it all in. The hosts were very responsive. We had a few questions and small issues during our stay and they responded right away and sent someone to fix the issue. If you are up for adventures and like to be off the beaten path, this house is a great choice. It’s not for everyone. Getting there is tricky at first, though the directions are very good. The open nature of the house also brought some wildlife closer than some may be comfortable with (pelican in the pool, bat in the room at night, a mouse sighting). This felt like part of the experience for us. Not everyone would appreciate the whole experience, but I’d go back in a heartbeat

The experience exceeded our expectations. If you love the ocean, nature and privacy, this is your place. Plenty of whales (humpbacks and greys), just off shore. Dolphins and marlin, too. The unobstructed views of the sunset over the pacific are amazing. There is a peaceful two mile beach for long walks to the north. We stayed for five nights and saw a total of a dozen people. We were there in February and the weather was quite comfortable, affording us the luxury to sleep with the windows and doors open to the cool breeze. The lack of A/C in the bedrooms was not an issue for us. We would return.
