Our family of 4 had a great 4 night stay at Claudia's! Her place was clean and equipped with all the basics for a comfortable stay. When we did reach out to Claudia, she was always quick to respond and did so in a friendly and helpful manner. She even arranged a taxi from the Costa Rica border for us as well as the delivery of another jug of water. As others have mentioned, the pool near the condo is small (but easy to access). We found another larger pool at the opposite end of the complex behind the Pizza House and it was excellent! The condo is an easy walk to the main streets of SJDS, a quick walk to a small pulperia (Stop and Buy) and a 1.3km walk to a larger store (Ahorra Mas). We ate at Henry's Iguana and it was great! We also used Casa Oro for surf lessons and enjoyed a day at Tree Casa - amazing place and delicious pizzas. A few things: the shower pressure is minimal, the couch well loved and having to think about AC usage can be frustrating. Still, a great place to stay!

Claudia was extremely helpful and communicative, helped us coordinate a driver from and back to the border. There was some hot water issue which was addressed the day after check in. Overall great stay and great place and would recommend Claudia as a host.

Thank you for the proactive welcome! The contact person on site was very nice. It's easy to get from the condo to the beach, where there are many restaurants. The advice regarding taxi services was very helpful, and there are several activities possible from the condo.

Great apartment. Due to the strong wind outside, the doors and windows creaked and squeaked quite a bit. The sofa is really in need of renewal. Also close to the village. A 10-minute walk. Nice little restaurant around the corner; Lomo Pinita.

We had a pleasant stay at Claudiaâs place. The location is very practical, as itâs on the way to Maderas and close enough to the village of San Juan, which made getting around easy. The space itself is clean, nice, and well laid out, and Claudia was very friendly and responsive throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. There are just a few points worth noting for future guests. The pool did not meet our expectations, as it was dirty and located in a corner that felt less inviting. The mattresses were quite soft and not very comfortable for us, and the master bedroom let in a lot of light early in the morning, making it difficult to sleep once the sun came up. Additionally, the showers would benefit from some maintenance, as the water pressure was low and the shower head sprayed unevenly. Overall, despite these points, we still had a nice stay and would recommend the place, especially for its location, cleanliness, and the hostâs availability and kindness.

There were not enough personal hygiene items, the electricity consumption was conditioned, there were no basics in the kitchen such as salt, sugar, oil, coffee; they ask you to take out the trash. The accommodation is in a very quiet and safe area, everything was clean and well maintained, very nice and comfortable.

It is an apartment located in a strategic, quiet place, close to Cristo, the beach is 500 meters away. Very nice in general.

The apartment was very nice and clean! Great location right outside town and very walkable. Claudia was very helpful with instructions, recommendations, and responded very quickly! Highly recommend staying here!

Claudia was very responsive and made sure we didn't lack anything! She's a perfect manager. I took some time before writing my review because I wanted to see if it was details of this particular listing or Nicaragua in general. The only thing I would like to mention is that the water pressure was very, very low compared to the other 2 Airbnbs we did in Nicaragua. In addition, the bed in the master bedroom was not at all comfortable. Actually, I read this comment about the bed that was from last summer, so I thought it would have been taken into account since then. I have to admit that I was starting to look forward to changing accommodation just because of the beds, the water pressure was not really a real problem. I did not communicate any problems with the manager. I left a 5-star review anyway because I also have an Airbnb and I know how catastrophic a 4-star rating is.
