We had the most amazing time here -- the property is so beautiful and comfortable. Ana and Miguel were so wonderful and cooked really delicious food. It's walkable for those who like to walk, and always easy to order an uber. 100% would recommend!

This beautiful villa in Amapas was the perfect setting for longtime friends to relax and enjoy time together. The views over Banderas Bay are breathtaking, the infinity pool is a highlight, and the layout gives everyone space that was inviting and comfortable. Miguel and Ana, the caretakers, were wonderful. They shopped for groceries and cooked daily meals for us, and even with limited shared language we communicated easily with a mix of Spanish, gestures, and translation apps. They are warm, attentive, and genuinely kind people who added so much to the experience. Toward the end of our stay there was a regional security situation that prompted temporary precautions in the area. Miguel and Ana shared updates, reassured us about safety, and navigated the uncertainty with calm and care. The host was also gracious and reassuring, kindly allowing us to extend our stay an extra day until things settled. Overall, a beautiful property with truly thoughtful care. We would absolutely return.

The photos do not do this property justice. Feels like you’re tucked away in the jungle, with beautiful ocean views from 3/4 of the bedrooms. Two of the rooms are in a separate building. The house is very open to the outdoors so I was worried about insects and critters, but it wasn’t an issue! If you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs as some of the nature was noisy at night (mostly chirping geckos). Miguel and Ana were amazing. Communication was a little limited before arrival, but they made sure we had everything we needed, we didn’t want to leave the house! Paying extra to have them shop & prepare our meals was well worth it. My group had mainly seafood but they made vegetarians option for me as well. Miguel even packed some of his incredible home made salsa macha for us to take home. Both of them are Spanish speaking so it helped to have someone fluent in our group. Recommend having pesos on hand to pay Miguel for groceries as he pays with his own money until he is reimbursed.

Absolutely stunning. It’s a perfect bohemian luxury getaway. We had meals prepared by the brilliant and warm Miguel and Ana every day—I highly recommend opting in! Just all around a lovely experience, and we hope to return!

If you want to stay in the Zona Romantica area of PV, do not hesitate for one second to rent Claudio's house. Like the other reviews, the photos do not do justice to how nice this place is. It is truly a one-of-a-kind, beautiful house.The outdoor area with the pool and al fresco dining area is amazing. We spent most of our time out there. It also has huge rolling glass doors that almost fully open, so even the inside feels like the outside. In late December, the weather was perfect for this and we never really closed the doors. The two housekeepers, Miguel and Ana, were AMAZING! They took care of everything: amazing breakfasts, afternoon snacks, and we even had them prepare two dinners, magically all of our laundry was clean when we came back from our adventures, and they gave us the best recommendations for outings and transportation. (Spanish) The one thing to consider is the specific location: Zona Romantica is walkable, but VERY hilly. The walkable beaches are good, not great.

Our family of 8 (4 couples) was extremely happy with this place. Miguel and Ana were perfect hosts. Highly recommend you ask them to make you ceviche upon arrival—you’ll thank yourself later. The home was the perfect backdrop for beautiful evenings relaxing in the pool.

Truly a peaceful, rustic pearl, in the midst of nature yet close to town. The pictures don’t do it justice at all, it is a beautiful villa and pool, with great views. As long as you’re ok with a bit of wildlife around you (e.g. geckos), you will love this place. The breakfasts and lunches were amazing, and we felt really well taken care of.

Beautiful space and super friendly staff - was very accommodating with our requests. Would definitely stay here again. Only note would be to beware of leaving food out in the kitchen - there is no structure that entirely separates out from outside and had a few incidents with nearby animals.

The house was very spacious with rooms conveniently separated for privacy. There were no pictures of the bathrooms but they are really nice. Pool area was the best of the experience, you feel like you are in the middle of the nature with a great view. Miguel was very attentive on everything. We hired the breakfast service and it was a great idea, having the breakfast by the pool ready when you wake up is priceless. The place is close to zona romantica and the beach. You can walk 15-20min but uber/lyft is recommended since the house is located on a hill.

Absolutely stunning property with great amenities! Our group had an amazing time here. We found the location to be perfect for some seclusion but still within good proximity and accessibility to town. The staff, Jasmine and Miguel, are phenomenal. They were very accommodating and hospitable, and the food they prepared was so delicious!

The home is so beautiful. We were in awe when we came in the front gate. It was perfect for our quiet weekend away as a group of 10, particularly because of how peaceful and private it is - I’ve truly never seen an Airbnb like it. If it’s in your budget, it’s worth it!

This home is absolutely beautiful. The pictures don’t compare to the real beauty of the home. It’s very open and feels like you’re in the jungle. There is a main house with 3 beds and a second portion of the villa with 2 beds. We stayed here with a group of 10 and we all had the perfect amount of space and the best time ever. Miguel and Gisella made sure that we were well taken care of and prepared us delicious meals. The location is very close to all the restaurants/beach/bars which were very convenient. 10/10 stay. Would love to return!

The house is stunning. There's really nothing like it. Feels like your own small boutique hotel. So much beautiful art, amazing views. The rooms are super private. A perfect place for families with kids. The beaches and town are a short walk away. It's really the perfect location for PV. But the best part of the trip were Miguel and Gisela. They made the most beautiful meals. Were super friendly and welcoming. By the end of the trip, they felt like family. Truly two of the nicest people we've ever met. This is probably the nicest place we've ever stayed. Many, many thanks to Claudio, Miguel and Gisela for making it so perfect.

Claudio's listing was even better in person than the pictures could ever do justice! We came to stay for an extended weekend birthday trip and the views and spaces throughout the home were stunning. The area was quiet, very walkable (15 minutes or so) and / or a short drive (5-10 minutes) to all of the bars and restaurants within the Zona Romantica. Claudio was also very responsive and helpful, as well as Miguel and housekeeping to ensure that our stay was the best stay possible. We were a group of 8 and none of us felt cramped or on top of each other. We would recommend this space to anyone and will definitely look to see if we can stay here in future trips to come!

This place is gorgeous! Seriously, the pictures do not show how beautiful this place is. It’s like from a movie set. I’m trying to find any excuse to come back and stay here. The house chef, Miguel, and his partner, Gisela, are wonderful people. The food was amazing, the house was always clean and organized and they really went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. Getting an Uber was annoying at times so make sure to start ordering one early. Still Worth staying here. It’s so zen….

We just finished the most amazing experience here in this home. From the moment we walked in, it took our breath away. The amount of foliage and the way the house is setup is very exotic. The house itself is a tropical paradise with all the areas open to nature. We spent five nights there with a total of eight adults and everyone was able to enjoy their own space when needed, and enjoy the time with the group sharing a meal or just relaxing surrounded by nature. Watching the sunset from the pool each night was a favorite activity of ours. Now for the crowning jewel of this experience, Gisela & Miguel. First, everything they made was so incredibility delicious! The day would start with blended fruit juices and whatever breakfast we had picked. The coffee, freshly made chips, eggs, hotcakes;we would eat every last bite of everything. Lastly, we had great conversations with them, they gave us suggestions, and honestly it was like leaving family by the time we left. Definitely returning!

Such a wonderful experience. So many memories made here I will cherish forever. I can’t wait to book again.

Really cool house surround by jungle/plants with a great pool and view

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences anyone in our group has had. Between the architecture, how the house was truly a part of the jungle, the infinity pool, the INCREDIBLE service provided by Miguel and Gisela, we were in heaven! Miguel and Gisela gave us great recommendations, cooked incredible meals for us, booked massages for us, and made sure we had everything we needed. They really took our experience to the next level and made our trip one that we will all remember for a lifetime! Thank you to them for taking such good care of us!

We had an incredible time celebrating my 30th birthday with close friends at Claudio’s stunning villa. The photos honestly don’t do it justice, but the true stand out of the property were the incredible staff — Miguel and Gisela. They were both absolutely phenomenal cooks, kept the home completely pristine each day, and were so lovely to be around. Please be sure to tip them generously because it is doubtful that they receive the cleaning fee included in the booking, so I recommend over tipping and not factoring in the cleaning fee. They are literal super stars. The home is so tranquil and walking distance to town.

Claudio's place was one of the most beautiful Airbnbs we had ever been to. Additionally, if you contact him prior to your stay, he will put you in contact with Miguel and Gisela, who are available to cook and clean for you. They really made our stay memorable. They made us breakfast each day - chilaquiles, quesadillas, huevos a la mexicana, fresh OJ, coffee. And in the afternoons they made us margaritas, fresh chips, salsa, and guacamole. It was the best. Would highly recommend staying here.

Was a great place to stay with friends. Was beautiful with a view of the ocean. Everything was clean and comfortable. Really wonderful house staff. Had good food. Very short ride to Zona Romantica. Our second time staying at this house. Felt safe and private. Only thing was we lost Wi-Fi at one point which made it a little harder for some people who had to work for part of the trip. Overall great experience. Highly recommend

Great place to stay for a birthday week!

This location had it all! It is such an amazing location with a beautiful view that cannot be matched. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very large and offer great views no matter where we were sleeping. The pictures definitely do not do it enough justice and we were all amazed. The pool was perfectly heated! The staff was helpful and accommodating as well! They cooked great food, kept the place tidy, and shopped for groceries for us to make sure we were taken care of and making for a seamlessly great time. Amazing place, would definitely stay here again and worth every dollar. Claudio was flexible and accommodating too. Thank you Claudio and team for an amazing house, view, and unforgettable vacation!

This house exceeded expectations for my bachelorette party. Spacious, beautifully decorated, great indoor/outdoor living. Above all else, the staff was phenomenal. I was able to send a list of groceries and alcohol beforehand, and they had the most delicious fish taco lunch prepared right when we arrived. Breakfast was also so tasty. Can’t recommend this place enough!

The view from this place is amazing, and the people taking care of the place are there for you all the time for whatever you need ( literally).

The photos definitely didn’t do the place justice! This place was impeccable and was tucked away and felt like you were in a jungle. The bedrooms were spacious and was perfect for our group of 9 people. We loved watching the sunset over the ocean from the pool. Miguel and Gisela greeted us upon arrival, they picked up groceries for us and provided receipts for us to reimburse them. Gisela also made us a wonderful chilaquiles with chorizo breakfast and they also prepared amazing ceviche for us that we were able to snack on poolside and just relax.

This property is perfect - it's a beautiful home and in a really great location. The caretakers of the home are also wonderful and do everything to make sure your stay is perfect, the fridge is stocked, and meals they prepare are delicious. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

This gem of a spot is truly magical - an oasis unto itself of beauty, calm, and utterly breathtaking sunsets and vistas. The home and casita are both striking and fantastic while being spacious and unlike anything else I've experienced in PV and the staff were kind, helpful, and made absolutely delicious food the entire trip!

House was amazing and beautiful! As others have mentioned the pictures do not do justice on how big the home is and how beautiful the view is.Staff was helpful and sweet! Area is super safe and the view is unbelievable. You do need to Uber to most places but everything is super close by. Only thing to note is that you do have to give the staff cash to purchase food for breakfast and lunch,food is delicious. Just book it you won’t regret it!! Definitely will be coming back to this home 😊

5 stars all around. This house and staff are both top notch. I walked thru the gate and was instantly in heaven/paradise-whatever you want to call it! The grounds are lush with old growth trees and greenery everywhere. We were greeted by Miguel and Gisela who prepared a beautiful lunch for us. They also prepared breakfast and lunch for us during our stay and were attentive to anything we might want to do (massages, yoga, etc). The layout of the house was a dream for our family. Four large en suite bedrooms with plenty of privacy between them to relax. The pool is heated and wonderful with a gorgeous view of the bay. You are perched above most and the walk down to the Zona Romantica is just 15 min! Our family will definitely be back!

This villa is everything and more. We were not disappointed with the entire experience overall. The Villa was everything we expected it to be and more. Miguel and Gisela were both hospitable and kind throughout our entire stay. They were so helpful and assisted us with any questions or concerns we had. Let Miguel and Gisela know what you would like for dinner and lunch. They will plan groceries accordingly and work with any dietary specifications or modifications one may have. Our group of nine enjoyed our 4 day stay from start to finish and would gladly come back. Tips: Miguel will help you find whatever tour you maybe looking to book (ATV’s, zip lining, boat rental, fishing, etc.) Also, Have Miguel give you a ride to the nearest Oxxo to purchase any alcoholic beverages, you do not want to make the steep trek up and down the hill on foot. This place is heavenly. So private, secluded and quiet. Super close to town for such a secluded villa. Miguel and Gisela who manage the property are incredible. The food they prepared was delicious. If you want to beautiful holiday to remember, I really recommend this property.

This house is absolutely AMAZING!! I saw the reviews where people were saying the pictures do not do this place justice, and they did not lie! The house is even more beautiful in person, just breathtaking. I came here to celebrate my birthday with a group of friends, and it was perfect for the occasion. Miguel and Gisela were so helpful, they cooked us breakfast, lunch, and snacks as well as made us margaritas. They went to the grocery store for us, helped us book massages, and yoga sessions. Google translate was very helpful as they did not speak much English and we did not speak much Spanish. The house is in a great location in the zona romantica area, close to many restaurants and the beach. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Hope to come back again one day!

Gorgeous house and location. Luxurious, peaceful, very private, great decor. We loved being up in the jungle but with a beach view. Waking up every morning to the sound of parrots and waves was awesome. The heated pool was also incredible -- we swam every day and in the evenings. Miguel and Gisela took great care of us, cooking us grilled octopus, ceviche, fish stew, pancakes, and more. They even arranged a mariachi band for NYE! Note that the beach is 10 mins down the hill, but be prepared for a steep walk back, or take an Uber. Bring a hairdryer. If you're on the fence, this house is worth every dollar. Magical!

What an experience! Honestly one of my favorite vacation planned. The house is beautiful and breathtaking. You don’t need to leave, the house has everything to have a relaxing and amazing time. Gisela and Miguel are the BEST! They were willing to help out and do grocery runs and cook for you. We had some of the best tacos, grilled fish, chilaquiles and home made salas. They don’t speak fluent English but Google translate really helped. My friends and I want to come back again and make it a tradition. The house is surrounded by beautiful trees and tropical plants… and the beach is right in front of you for an nice view from the infinity pool. I can’t keep going on this post :) Claudio was also a pleasure to communicate with and he has a ton of other properties you can rent from. Overall a great experience to talk about for a long time.

This is an amazing property. We celebrated a girls trip and were visiting PV for the first time so didn't know what to expect. The house was beautiful, location was a great, and Miguel and Gisela were absolutely incredible. They served us food and fresh juice daily, stocked the fridge with all the drinks we requested, packed us lunch for our boat ride, coordinated massage therapists to come poolside for treatments and even helped us hire someone to come to the house for covid tests to travel back to the states. We will 100% be back. And Claudio has other properties we are eager to see.

This house could be one of the most beautiful in Puerto Vallarta. It is designed beautifully, the views are incredible, and it still has a Mexican charm to it. It was built to be part of the surrounding jungle, making it feel like a nature retreat. The layout is open and great for socializing, while at the same time the bedrooms are spaced out and offer great privacy. Also the rooms have great AC. Overall an amazing house with very friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We all loved the view, and magical sunsets, and as the description says, we didn’t want to leave. Gisela and Miguel were lovely and friendly, and a joy to be around. The food they shared was delicious and my friends still want Gisela’s pancake recipe. All around a truly great trip thanks to Casa Higuera. I’m looking forward to staying again soon.

THIS HOUSE IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Pictures really do not do it justice. It's a beautiful open aired house with an infinity pool that was awesome for our bachelorette party! Gisela and Miguel were great in cooking and preparing us meals and even went on a beer run for us! It was so safe and close walking to the beach. What a week! The pictures online in addition to the overview set expectations insanely high. From the minute we stepped foot behind the gate, our expectations were exceeded! This space is perfectly setup for groups! Each couple has their own bedroom and private bath. There is a house behind the main house with outside access to two rooms. The main house holds the common areas with beautiful art and the master suite and room with two beds. The views are majestic looking out to the ocean AND looking back into the jungle. Good luck getting out of the pool or leaving the property at all with Miguel and Gisela, the house staff, feeding you delicious breakfast, lunch and poolside snacks. They provided an unforgettable experience and offered friendly smiles and top of the line service each day. Getting to town is easy and inexpensive in Uber. PV is beautiful and bustling, but Casa Higuera provided a perfect quiet retreat for a week I will never forget! Piece of advice: Google maps has problems with finding the address. Just stop when you see the big gray cobblestone Horizon Residence sign. The house is across the street.

Claudio's space is really special, the pictures don't quite do it justice. The house feels less like a house and more like a community with the two villas sitting on different parts of the property and all the outdoor area surrounding it. The house sits on a hill very close to town with an incredible view of the ocean, and it's only 5 minutes away from the downtown area, although feels very remote. The staff Miguel and Gisela are very kind, and helpful. They ran to the store for whatever we needed at the drop of a hat and made us a delicious breakfast and lunch. I can't wait to go back and visit this treasure again.

This house far exceeded our expectations. The photos don't do it justice! It's an amazing and stylish property with plenty of space for all guests. The open air concept was awesome. The staff was so hospitable and sweet and the food they prepared for us was delicious. The only hiccup we had was trying to find the Casa right away as its pretty unassuming from the outside, but its in a safe area and easy to access via Uber. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an easy, relaxed, and high-end stay!

Such a lovely spot. Second time staying here. The staff cooks an amazing meal and keeps the place very clean. Plenty of space for 10 guests and not too far from downtown though we took a cab most nights. Hanging by the pool was great! 10/10 would stay here again.

Claudio’s house is easily one of the best places I’ve ever booked on Airbnb. From the minute you walk in you’ll be blown away by the beauty of this home and the tastefulness of the decor. The location is equally wonderful with views of the bay and within easy reach of town and the beach, but secluded enough to remain peaceful. And as others have mentioned the staff was wonderful! I stayed with a group and everyone had wonderful things to say. We hope to be back in the future. Here’s some helpful notes: Consider coming with some ideas for breakfast and lunch in mind if you plan to take advantage of Miguel’s wonderful cooking. The staff will buy groceries, but will need money up front. Tip them well! The house is a bit of an uphill hike from town and the beaches so be prepared for some exercise or have money on hand for cabs. If you do walk there are stairs near the intersection of the highway and road that the house is on. We found it easier than expected to navigate by foot. Not an issue with the house really, but consider taking an Uber the first time you arrive. Not knowing the area made it more difficult to guide a taxi there and the house address doesn’t plot nicely on maps.

This place is so amazing! It far, FAR exceeded my expectations! The pictures just don't capture how absolutely gorgeous then entire property is an absolute oasis with a breathtaking view of the official and jungle. The staff is the BEST!

Casa Higuera is surrounded under a canopy of trees, palms and red ginger. Beautiful pool area and views. The rooms are spotless and modern. Eclectic collection of books and art throughout the house. What pictures can not capture are the house hosts: Miguel and Gisela were the highlight of our stay. The best food we had in PV was at the house. They made the best breakfast and local dishes. We had a couple special birthdays and they helped coordinate a really nice night at the house with red snapper and tres leches. They were so helpful with everything from taxis, to groceries and where to go. This house is a short walk to the beach and/or 60 pesos drive into town. Stunning infinity pool. Hot water/filtered water, fully stocked kitchen, surround sound system, strong wifi, I could on and on. Can't wait to come back.

I turned 30 with 9 of closest friends in this house and it really was the time of my life. The house was perfect! And the staff - Gisela and Miguel - were amazing and ever so kind. The pictures don't do this home justice. It really is stunning and so easy to feel at home here. It has the most amazing views of the ocean from the infinity pool and the best sunset I have seen to date. The house is tastefully furnished with an eclectic mix of contemporary art, antiques and travel finds. The best time ever.

This house is incredibly gorgeous and well maintained. The staff was professional and helpful. I loved the setting and the decor and will definitely be returning soon.
