Host Response

Nina and her family were an absolute delight to have. They took care of our house like it was there's. We wished we would have been able to spend more time with them. We hope this visit us again. Thank you so being so AMAZING!!!!!

We had a wonderful stay! Chasity was a very helpful hostess from start to finish. It was great to have her guidance and local knowledge during our stay. The house was in a great location: beautiful views, lots of sun, away from the busy areas. It is a bit of a hike up from the beach but very doable. There are beach restaurants and a small grocery store close by. The town (pueblo) is a bit further away (and sometimes you have to cross a river on the beach), but it’s not too far. The pool was a nice feature. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with basic supplies. We brought our three kids (age range 2 to 9 years), and the house worked well for them. Overall, a really great experience, and we will go back again!

Chasity and Brett were such beautiful hosts. They were welcoming and warm. The support staff that clean the house and maintain the grounds were lovely and looked after everything we needed. We were allowed to use things in the house like yoga mats and their great coffee machine. The recommendations we got for dinner and massage were high quality and great value. We felt safe travelling here with a large group that included four small kids.

Excellent place to arrive, the view on the terrace with pool is the best, Chasity welcomed us very amable, I showed us the place and I have all our doubts, the house has all the services and amenities operating 100% recommended to arrive

This is the perfect home for a dream vacation in one of the most paradisiacal corners of Mexico. We were a group of 11 friends from different backgrounds and meeting at Chasity's house in Yelapa was just fantastic. The help they offer from arrival, the communication by messaging and the tips to enjoy the place, make the whole experience of visiting this house great. Special thanks to Miguel and the ladies who clean the house, who are also super friendly. If I could, I would come back tomorrow! Thank you Chazie.

This casa is off the beaten path and located in the hills of the rainforest, yes you will have a little hike to the top but the views are totally worth it.the casa has all the amenities you will need for your stay- hot running water,Wi-Fi,full size refrigerator, stove, amazing pool overlooking the bay and all the bells and whistle. The open concept makes it feel like your sleeping outside and the sounds of the rainforest so serene.the hosts are very nice and go over everything when checking in.if you are looking for a peaceful getaway outside the village this is the place for you.

This is a magical house on a hill. It's a great location and the house is well stocked. We stayed here for a week with four adults and five kids, ages 2 - 6. It was a perfect vacation house for our group. The stairs were not a problem for anyone. We did see a few scorpions, which kept us on our toes, but we had no bites! The location is very private, the pool is wonderful, and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We purchased lots of food in Puerto Vallarta and took it on the water taxi. All of the logistics were easy to manage and everyone was helpful. Chasity was incredibly responsive before and during our visit. Highly recommend Chasity's house!

We loved our stay on Yelapa. The view from the house is gorgeous, definetly one of the prettiest locations on Yelapa. The house is well equipped and communication with the owner was excellent. Yelapa offers great food, hospitality and beautiful nature. Even though we had a great stay, some caution is nessecary. As you can read in other reviews, you need to keep an eye out for scorpions. The owner does everything to prevent it but on her way to her room, one of our friends found a yellow scorpion. Take this into consideration if you are traveling with (little) kids. Would definitly recommend!

Chasity’s home is truly that- a home. It is located in the jungle above the beach of enchanting Yelapa. There are 270 stairs up to the place (yes, we counted) but every step is worth it. The views and serenity are unparalleled. All amenities were considered and although we had challenges getting internet for a good portion of our stay, Chasity did do her best to remedy that in a timely fashion. We ended up only having internet on the last day- which besides missing a deadline on a project of mine was really pretty nice. The on call staff was very attentive if ever we were in need and the daily housekeeping was immaculate. This place is truly dreamy and inspirational. Great for a romantic getaway or a family adventure- just be sure to shake your clothes out as it is in Scorpio territory. We saw one hiking up the stairs on our way back from the disco but if you take precautions this just adds to the wildness. All in all - a beautiful experience.

Host Response

Megan. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. I do apologize about the internet. Yelapa just recently got high speed and there are still kinks here and there with it. Nice that you guys made it to the Disco. :) We fell in love with the views from the house as well. Thank you for your review. Happy to host you anytime.

The house was great, views were fantastic and the hosts were very helpful with quick response times to all of our questions.

Host Response

Chris glad you and your guest had a fun trip and enjoyed the house. I am sure you and your friends made some good memories. Hope you guys come back for a repeat. Thank you so much.

This place is magical! The view took our breathe away every morning we woke up. The flight of stairs to get up to the home is impressive but don’t let that make you shy away. The kitchen has modern appliances with an authentic feel. The beds are comfortable and there are lots of places to lounge. Rose was very hospitable and was as available as needed. This place provided us with so many wonderful memories.

Host Response

Thank you for your review Kristen. Hope you'll be back to visit us again!

I traveled to Yelapa and stayed for a week in Casa Vista del Sol in Yelapa in January 2016. As some of the descriptions mention, Yelapa is not a standard destination as you can only arrive by boat, a 30-60 minute trip depending on whether you leave from Puerto Vallarta or further down the coast. While I really enjoyed my stay in Yelapa and found Cheryl´s house to be an excellent value, you shouldn´t expect the same level of comfort that you might find in an upper end hotel or resort. It´s a more rustic experience which might not be for everyone. Cheryl and Nicole were very helpful and did a good job of helping us out in a very low key way. If you are planning on going to Puerto Vallarta or Yelapa I certainly would recommend staying with them.

Upon arrival to Casa Vista del Sol Cheryl was there patiently waiting to welcome and show me around her beautiful casa. Her presence made me feel VERY safe as I had traveled there alone. What a great vacation... I had actually going there to meditate and work through some issues with my chaotic business. A few conversations on a spiritual level with Cheryl helped me way more than any book I could ever reead. Great host, great casa, great vacation. Can't wait to go back. Thanks you!!
