We had the most wonderful time at “La Casa Yellow” as the youngest member in our group named it. The house has a lot of charm & character. The bugambilias were breathtaking. There were plenty of rooms with bathrooms, which was great for our large multi generational group. One room had a worn down bathroom, but it still wasn’t a deal breaker for us. The host was very kind and attentive to all our needs. We needed assistance to which they immediately responded and helped. The house sits between two parks, which were the best for people watching! The parks were utilized to their fullest potential! People working out, dance groups practicing, roller blade group skating! We felt safe at all times. La Iglesia Santo Domingo was a quick 8 minute walk. Casa de barro is a chic shopping center with a good rooftop restaurant. There is delicious food all over town! I highly recommend Comedor Lolita, directly next door for delicious memelas.

We enjoyed our stay in Oaxaca. The house is very well located to go walking around the center of the city with lots of restaurants, parks and things to do. The house is beautiful and can very well fit several people. The street the house sits on can be a bit noisy at night but nothing a few mezcales can’t fix. The weather was a bit cloudy so the pool ended up being a bit cold but we still enjoyed it.

We are so grateful for our time here. A wonderful home base for being in the heart of Oaxaca City. There were four of us and we had ample room to spread out in this true oasis. The first night there was a power outage on the street and Abraham and Eunice were extremely proactive providing us with lanterns and ensuring we were comfortable with everything we needed. The house was pristine, exceptionally private, and exactly as described. The pool was amazing, and the location is perfect—just a short 5–10 minute walk to the city center. It provided the ideal balance of privacy and convenience for my wife, our 4-year-old, and me. We absolutely fell in love with this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

We loved our time in Oaxaca, and this home was the perfect retreat after long days of exploring the city and surrounds. Close, and walkable, to all of Centro Oaxaca, the home is quite and private, providing the perfect place to stop and relax. The lush gardens and relaxing pool only add to the feeling of calm. The bedrooms were well appointed, and the beds incredibly comfortable. Our host was very communicative and helpful, the check in and out process was a breeze, and there were plenty of suggestions on what to see and do. (Their well prepared local guide was a great resource).

We came back more than happy and grateful for all the team's attention! I was going for my bachelorette party, and it couldn't have been better. We were offered transfers, private tours, and excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities. The best part was having a local buffet ready when we got back from the tour, and the in-house massage! Very nice place; we were all very comfortable, each with their own room and bathroom. Thank you for conserving water; we were mindful of that. It's a really nice and beautiful area; we walked almost everywhere. Anyway, there are taxis outside, so we never had any problems getting around. There is noise, but it's understandable because you are in the city center. To be honest, it's nothing you can't ignore. We will definitely rent with you again!

We would return to this home in a heartbeat! 8 of us traveled to Oax - we had two sets of grandparents and two kiddos under 5. The house was perfect for these 3 generations to be together for several reasons. First, there was a lot of space. The kids could play and run around (not to mention SWIM). Everyone had their own space - rooms are not on top of each other. There is plenty of communal space and places to lounge. The courtyard is spectacular. Second, the location is ideal. For the kids, we were in between two parks. Parque Llano has 2 playgrounds. For the adults (including one with mobility issues), we were walking distance from downtown, Jalatlaco, and dozens of places to eat. Third, our hosts were unparalleled. Their instructions were clear and their local recommendations were perfect. Like true hosts, they were welcoming and helpful beyond words when we had to deal with several flight delays. For any question, they had an immediate answer and found ways to help.

We had a multi-generational family gathering at Casa Dos Parques and everyone loved it. The property is large and beautiful with many coffee shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. Abraham and Eunice are wonderful hosts, helpful and responsive to any questions or issues we had. The property is at the north end of the Centro and we did a lot of walking, but Oaxaca is very much a walking town.

Punta Paz is a stunning four bedroom home with a gorgeous pool and garden. The design details are sublime. Eunice and Abraham were incredibly communicative and helpful in providing recommendations on all matter of topics, from drivers to tour guides to restaurant and cafe recommendations. A magical home in a magical city. 🙏🏼

This place is fantastic! Beautiful and clean with amazing outdoor spaces. Best location within a short walk to incredible restaurants, bars, shopping, and cultural spots. The hosts Abraham and Eunice couldn’t have been more helpful - so proactive and friendly sharing recommendations and clearly communicating instructions. They were always very responsive if we had a question or ask. Highly highly recommend staying here! A perfect spot for a girls trip!

The house is an incredible location that’s close enough to the city center but a little quieter, walking to all of the incredible neighborhoods and incredible restaurants in the city. It was perfect for our family visiting for a wedding, wanting to be together but still enough space from each other haha. The pool is super warm so we were able to swim at night, and a beautiful lush garden. The team was so responsive and helpful for all of our questions.

An oasis amidst the bustle of Oaxaca. The garden is a gem studded with local plants and trees, and the pool is sufficiently deep for swimming laps at the end of the day.

This place is huge!! It’s in a perfect location and is exactly as pictured. We had a few issues but Eunice always responded quickly. The pool was nice and toasty and they even came by to clean it. Area is not super quiet but you are in the middle of the city so what can you expect? thanks for a great stay!!

We spent a fantastic week at this house in Oaxaca. The house was incredibly private and so comfortable. We have visited Oaxaca several times and this was our favorite location. It is close to a beautiful park, delicious restaurants, museums, and more. We walked everywhere! Communication was helpful, prompt and professional, and they went above and beyond to provide local recommendations. We would definitely recommend this house to anybody planning to visit Oaxaca!

This is an absolutely fabulous place to stay in Oaxaca and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Beautiful pristine rooms, very clean, the pool was so serene and a nice escape from the city. Great location. The hosts were so responsive and helpful. We loved our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Verde in the heart of Oaxaca. The outdoors/pool area was a beautiful place to sit in and relax in the mornings or in the warmer afternoons. The pool was great for our to young girls, who enjoyed swimming after walking around the city. The hosts were very responsive when we asked if they were able to adjust the pool temperature, but just a fair warning that if you're looking for a warm pool, it doesn't really get very warm, although in the summer time that might be ok. But my kids did ok with it, and it was nice of them to have pool noodles and other pool items available. The beds were comfortable and extra blankets were provided because the mornings can be chilly. Kitchen was nicely stocked although with all the wonderful restaurants around, you probably won't do much cooking. Super responsive hosts, replied very quickly and were very willing to find solutions to any issues. Highly recommend Casa Verde and Oaxaca!!

We stayed over the holidays and the indoor/outdoor space offered multiple places for my family to relax and enjoy the unique home, including the gardens, outdoor furniture and football. Also, Punto Paz deserves a big shoutout, especially Eunice. Eunice’s friendly and responsive help felt like we had family there directing us to all the charming and interesting places in Oaxaca. A beautiful place to stay in a great location in Oaxaca. We were a large family and the house was able to accommodate us. We loved retreating back here after a busy day out and about. X

We had a great time staying here while in Oaxaca! Location was central to everything and super walkable to great restaurants, bars and cafes. The space looks exactly like the photos and was incredibly clean. The hosts gave very clear directions and were responsive throughout our trip.

We stayed a week at this hacienda style home. It is well located and there nice are parks at either corner. We walked everywhere. The hosts arranged a driver to get us to the airport and back. The house has 5 bedrooms- all clean- the kitchen is modern with enough supplies for our needs. There is a dishwasher, but finding powder/ tabs was a challenge, so bring some from home if you come. The hosts were very responsive. The bedrooms were all spread out- (we only used 3) allowing for plenty of privacy. The pool area and garden were nice- a few more lounge chairs would be a good idea. Our biggest challenge was hot water. Oaxaca has a water supply issue- there is a shortage in the whole region due to drought conditions. We were very cognizant of this and tried not to use much water, but you do have to let the water run for 5 minutes or so to get any hot water, so it is a bit of a contradiction. And some days there was construction noise from next door. All in a good stay in a fun town

Casa Verde is an absolute oasis in a fabulous area! So many nearby parks, restaurants and watering holes, all within easy walking distance. The home itself is wonderful, well designed with lots of amenities and room to hang out. And the backyard is amazing - walking through the gate is like being transported to a tropical paradise. We have stayed in dozens of rentals over the past years - most, while fine, are not nearly as nice as they appear in the listing. Casa Verde is actually better than the pictures, and the Punto Paz hosts were responsive and accommodating at all times. We have already booked our return trip!

The house is very nice, clean and well maintained, the rooms are comfortable. They had nice touches like leaving us a jug of water, ice, coffee and very tasty dried fruit. The only thing that wasn't right is that we never had hot water in several of the showers.

This home was a stunning sanctuary for a long-awaited trip with old friends. Eunice was incredibly responsive and letting me check in well before the normal time was a godsend. They also had amazing recommendations for local guides and a cooking class so we could connect to the community and history of Oaxaca. The pictures speak for themselves, the entire outdoor space was a soothing place to relax, swim, and laugh together. I can't recommend this home enough - I'll definitely try to make it back again soon.

Unbeatable location, we walked every day to different areas and activities, 10/10 in the very heart of downtown Oaxaca. The house is also excellent, the layout of the rooms seems super adequate to me, it gives space and privacy, comfortable and beautiful. The only detail is that the rooms on the street side are noisy, but other than that it's very nice. All the rooms are always locked with a key and a couple of times we left the keys inside, but the PP team was always super attentive and they resolved it for us in minutes. Before the trip started, they were attentive, they had a super efficient response and attention to all our requests. Thank you Abraham and Punto Paz team. I definitely recommend it and I will come back to get to know and enjoy more of Oaxaca!

Our group loved staying here. The outdoor garden seating and pool area are especially notable. The interior layout worked very well for the 6 of us, with plenty of space to spread out. The hosts were extremely responsive with any little question we had. We would rent here again in a heart beat. Thank you for a wonderful, wonderful stay.

The house was in a great central location. We were able to walk easily to a lot of the places we wanted to check out. The house was beautiful and had what we needed. It was a very nice addition to include coffee and dried fruit. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the mornings (thanks for including the citronella candle!) and swimming in the heated pool. The hosts were very attentive and responsive to requests.

Wonderful oasis at which to stay. The house is well designed but it is the garden, the pool and the outdoor patio and location which really are the best features. You can walk anywhere in the centre of Oaxaca from here and while the house is on a relatively busy street, so there is some street noise, it kind of adds to the ambience and it is quiet by night. Because the house is behind big walls so it feels very private.

This place is special. Very tranquil and relaxing pool area, while right in the city for easy access to the action. Bed was as comfortable as i’ve experienced in an Airbnb. Most impressive was the responsive hosting. Lots of recommendations and quick to arrange anything from check-in to transportation. I highly recommend this property.

We loved, loved, loved our stay at Casa Dos Parques in Oaxaca. This was our first trip to Oaxaca and we wanted a house with a pool that was walkable to restaurants/shops/activities - Casa Dos Parques met all of our needs perfectly. The courtyard and pool is lovely and indoor spaces are very comfortable and accommodating. The hosts were so helpful. We can't wait to return to Oaxaca and Casa Dos Parques.

We were 4 adults that stayed 5 nights. House and property was as advertised. Beautiful outdoors with plants and trees, lovely pool (and outdoor shower), outdoor table, plenty of seating in covered area. Inside was clean and tidy with nice bedroom and clean light filled bathrooms. We didn't' cook but kitchen was more than adequate. We appreciated the large jugs of water in kitchen. The bedroom and bathroom in a separate Cabin was also nice, and private. Air conditioning worked well. Internet had 3 zones, and worked well for Zoom meetings. Location is great and the restaurants and shops are a 5 to 20 min walk. Hosts were responsive, helpful and gave great recommendations for restaurants, tours and shops. They also arranged for a 4am car to the airport at very reasonable cost. Only improvement might have been some pool towels separate from the bathroom ones. We would gladly stay here again.

Definitely a Five star place with Superhost support. Punto Paz is practically a tour guide as well as a lodging host. From our initial contact they supplied us with lengthy recommendations for food, activities, transportation, sights. Location is superb. About 15 minute walk to Zocolo with many shops, groceries, cafes and restaurants in between. Each bedroom a/c is excellent and all are very quiet. Very, very responsive to our follow up inquiries on everything from groceries, arranging for travel to out of town destinations like Monte Alban and Hierve del Aguas, where to have a quick lunch and where to have a more celebratory dinner. The garden is a great spot to relax and escape the midday heat and the pool a good spot for a cooling dip (it was a highlight for our 3 year old grandson). The car / van service run by Elpidio with whom the work was a great help -from getting to the airport at 5:00 a.m. to visiting out of the way sights without paying for overpriced tours.

My friends and I had a lovely stay. The house was perfect! We couldn’t ask for a better location or host. Our hosts helped us with everything we asked for before and during our stay. It’s walkable to many restaurants, and shops. I highly recommend!

The courtyard is magical! The place is spacious and clean with comfortable beds and a private bungalow. The hosts were super responsive to questions and met us when we arrived much later than expected. Very easy stay. Short walk to Templo Santo Domingo, and 2 blocks from a convenient/modern little grocery.

We had a great five day stay. The house looks like the pictures and the team is very responsive and helpful. I had a million questions and they were always prompt and helpful with replies. The best part for us was the heated pool surrounded by the lush landscaping. After a few days we needed intermittent relief from the bustle of the town. A soak in the heated pool did just that so we could head back out refreshed! While we were there there were really no mosquitoes, so you could keep the house open to the pool area. A couple things to know are that two of the bedrooms give to the street. It’s not a busy street but has street noises just like any other. It’s inevitable with the interior courtyard design- but just a heads up! Also, there was enough coffee and sugar for just a couple of days, and no cream, so plan accordingly. I hope to have the opportunity to stay at this place again. It was the perfect way to experience Oaxaca!

The place is impeccable, with an unbeatable location to enjoy the festivities and the atmosphere of the city. Isaac was always very kind and attentive. Ideal for a family: all bedrooms are spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The kitchen, just perfect. Definitely an excellent option to experience Oaxaca to the fullest. We would do it again without thinking!

The location is excellent, very central, walkable, and quiet at night. The home was clean and comfortable for our stay. The host was responsive and quick to address any issues, and when something came up, they sent someone promptly to resolve it. Wonderful hosts, beautifully decorated home and the location is absolutely perfect. Felt far from the main tourist areas but easy walk to reach. Even though it wasn’t very hot during our visit, the pool was a great amenity for the kids. Highly recommend this place for families.

Wonderful - will stay again. The house felt like an oasis in an oasis of a city. Despite being off the main road, it feels private and mostly quiet. The house itself is spectacular - garden, pool, the outdoor spaces and the bathrooms are really beautiful and well designed. Lots of outdoor seating, and the evening nighttime lighting definitely makes you feel that you're in special place. Pool was clean, private, and wonderful to use - can't beat an outdoor shower amongst the trees. Lots of space in the bedrooms and the kitchen is just a nice place to cook, albeit a little on the smaller side. Really loved the local ceramics - mezcal glasses, mugs and dinnerware. The location is great, next to a park and just a touch away from the busier areas, but also still close enough to walk to everything in the centro and easy to get to Jalatlaco. The Punto Paz team was super responsive via Airbnb/text, with activity suggestions, help with transportation, and addressing a minor maintenance req.

I have nothing bad to say about this property. It's right in the middle of the city, walking distance to everything, yet it still feels like you're in the middle of nowhere. It's so peaceful. The property is fully stocked. The only thing we wished for was a fan or AC in the common room (living room). Each bedroom (and the bungalow) has it's own AC which is great.

Great stay. Responsive and proactive hosts who helped us with recommendations, taxi, and has some essentials in the kitchen/fridge when we arrived. Place was clean and private. Well located for walking in the historic center. If there was a down side it was the road noise in some of the bedrooms…. But that is to be expected since you are in the in the middle of the action pretty much. The courtyard pool area was peaceful for sure. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved our stay at this beautiful place in Oaxaca! The place is comfortable, clean and has everything you might need. Hosts were super helpful and responsive. The neighborhood is safe and extremely walkable to eateries, shopping and the center of town. We didn't need a taxi to go anywhere because we enjoyed walking everywhere! Top notch experience. Highly recommend!

Casa Verde was a great stay for our family. Central enough to everything we wanted to do but out of the hustle and bustle of the centro and grounded by peaceful landscaping and an amazing pool to relax in. The hosts are amazing and very much care about your stay with them and the entire area. The home actually exceeded our expectations from the photos because there were new linens and window coverings not previously shown. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are the perfect size with great light wells and the kitchen had most everything one would need though admittedly we did not cook. WiFi was good too. The hosts even provided some beverages and snacks which was a great touch. Neighborhood is great and safe with easy walking access to Plaza Santa Domingo, El Llano, Jlatlaco, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

This home was just fantastic!! You enter through a private gate into this STUNNING garden area with a wonderful pool (our kids swam every day), outdoor shower, lush plantings, outdoor covered living area, hammocks, etc. You'd never know how close you are to all the city action! It's so peaceful in the yard. The bedrooms were all air-conditioned which was great for sleeping. The place was very clean and well-laid out. The main house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a living room and kitchen. Then tucked just next door (also opens up to the garden area) is an adorable studio apartment with another bedroom/bathroom. Great if you are traveling with older kids, in-laws, babysitter, etc. The street this apartment is on is quiet and peaceful, and very close to a few different lovely parks, including El Llano park which my kids (9 & 7) LOVED.. you can rent scooters and little electric mini cars in the evenings. 1We will stay here again on our next visit!! Also- the hosts were SUPER responsive!!

An amazing time in Oaxaca! Our rental felt like home and the team did a great job taking care of anything we needed. Eunice quickly responded to all of our questions and requests. The garden especially was such a beautiful place to spend time. Great for dodging the afternoon heat or quiet mornings before our adventures for the day.

This is a great place for a stay in Oaxaca. We were a family group and really enjoyed the space, peace and quiet and location of the property. The Punto Paz team were always responsive to our questions and their help greatly enhanced our stay. A particular send out was Eunice - always there when needed to give us the advice we needed.

The house was great and the hosts were always very good at communicating and responding to any questions or concerns. I stayed there during my wedding week and it is a nice location, just far enough from all the noise but close enough to be able to walk to anything close to elevate centro. Would recommend

A beautiful home, easy share for a family or friends. Very central and walkable but in the quieter north end of Centro. There is some street noise on the main bedrooms side but not an issue for us. Inside the gates the garden and pool are a paradise. We loved this house!

Very tranquil oasis on the edge of all the action in Centro. Very comfortable space that’s oriented to outdoors living and entertaining. Everything functioned well. We loved the location, just a bit away from the hustle and bustle, yet so close to great neighborhoods and lots of excellent food options including the Torta truck on the park corner. The hosts were super responsive to all our needs, making it a seamless stay. Will definitely return.

We had the most incredible stay! We rented the house for our wedding weekend and we couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the house was and how attentive our hosts were. We could not recommend this place more!

Casa Verde was perfect for our family of 3 adults and 2 children under seven years. There was plenty of private space and the kids loved exploring the garden. We could walk to everything we needed in under twenty minutes. The folks at Punto Paz rentals provided extraordinary service with very quick responses to every request and questions. We used the driver they recommended (Martin) for all our excursions. We HIGHLY recommend this listing and Punto Paz to everyone visiting Oaxaca.

Our stay here was AMAZING! We were in Oaxaca City for a wedding and stayed here for 6 nights. The house easily accommodated 7 adults. The hosts Abraham and Eunice were incredibly attentive and easy to work with, even accommodating some transportation and catering for us. What a wonderful house! Location is perfect, Everything is well stocked and comfortable. Spotlessly clean, outdoor spaces are charming and offer retreats and privacy. Hosts are very responsive and offer tons of information and support. Could not have been better! AAAAA++++

We had the best time!!! The host even helped set up a driver and a private chef to cook us a 4 course meal at the house. It was so much fun!

Perfect for our group! Close to the venues of the wedding we were attending, and within easy walking distance of restaurants and other local attractions. Property was light, airy, comfortable, and relaxing. Punto Paz was very responsive, from welcoming us on our check-in to sending us notices of local activities to helping arrange our rides to the airport on our departure.

This is a beautiful home, with so much to do within walking distance. We were there for a wedding, and during our stay at no point besides getting to and from the airport did we need a vehicle! Beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, and the outside space is private and relaxing. We hope to make it back soon and will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had the most incredible stay at ‘Case Verde’. It’s perfectly located, and has a perfect mix of excitement during the day and quiet at night. The courtyard is a dream and the house was lovely. We are already planning our next trip!

This place was beautiful. It felt like a little oasis inside of the city - with so many plants and the breeze it really did feel a couple degrees cooler in the yard - and the architecture and interior design was really special, relaxing, and warm. Everything was clean, including the pool, and with big high walls it was super private. Abraham responded to all my messages and questions within 5-10 minutes and helped us find transportation and gave other recommendations in the area.

The perfect place for a family reunion. The five of us were very comfortable and made great use of the space. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience! We were taken care of in every way! Transportation was arranged many times for us. The house and garden are absolutely beautiful! Peaceful and serene! Family in other rentals all connected here because of the beautiful environment and outside living space. Highly recommend !!!

This was our first trip to Oaxaca over the festival of Guelaguetza. The city was packed and absolutely over the top with festivities, parades, exhibitions as only Oaxaca can do. The house was an oasis amidst the bustle. It is also difficult to find a rental in Oaxaca that has comfortable sofa seating. Casa Verde has comfortable seating inside and on the veranda. It was perfect for our stay. It is in an excellent area near Parque Conzatti, a very sweet neighborhood, close to convenience stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. That being said it is a very walkable distance to the historic center and other areas of interest. The staff was very responsive to any questions or information that we needed. That was very reassuring and helpful.

We had a great one-week stay at this Airbnb after spending our first two weeks in Oaxaca at a more economical airbnb. The backyard is gorgeous and verdant, the pool warm, relaxing, and shaded. The house was super clean and well-designed. We enjoyed the architecture and the kitchen ceramics. There are air conditioners and fans in the bedrooms that were very quiet. The location can't be beat. You are outside of the busy downtown but still within 10-15 minutes walk of most places you'd want to visit, including the Mercado Sanchez Pascuas, El Llano park, Tortas La Hormiga, La cosecha, Almu, and Las Chilmoleras. I wish we had visited when there were not mosquitos as we were not able to fully enjoy the indoor/outdoor design of the house at this time of year. The hosts were responsive and helpful --they sprayed the backyard, significantly reducing the mosquitos and making a big difference in our stay. The hosts did everything they could to make our stay great!

Lovely garden hideaway in the middle of the city. Great location and chic accommodations for our group made up of two families of four. We loved the pool, the garden and the outdoor areas especially. One note: the price increased dramatically when we added more guests, something to be aware of when booking.

We had a wonderful week in Oaxaca staying in Casa Verde. It was a peaceful oasis within walking distance to everything. The pool and garden were beautiful and so peaceful after a long day of walking. The design of the house was gorgeous with all that you need and more. Bedrooms were so comfortable and fit our family perfectly. Abraham , Eunice and their team were so helpful and responded quickly (even coming within minutes when we locked ourselves out). They went above and beyond to make our vacation seamless with great recommendations. Don’t hesitate and book!
