Blue zen! Beautiful place, units are well stocked and new, secluded, quiet, and staff is amazing. Terri was very responsive and answered questions very quickly. If you are expecting a beautiful useable beach look elsewhere. kayaks cannot be launched, some of the pools are overcome by the smell. Only useable pool is by boat launch and bar. Proximity to great snorkeling and the south side of Caye Caulker is helpful. Highly recommend Latitude 17 for snorkeling and island adventures. The sargassum issue is real. The smell of the rotting sargassum is overwhelming it is everywhere. Staff works at trying to remove it, but it is futile at best.

The unit was as described, clean, nicely decorated, very comfortable! Our only negatives were: (1) that the local market on the property was out of stock of many staples (milk, fruit, eggs) during the entire 1 week stay and didn't make any effort to bring them in. (2) The sargassum was excessive and stinky making the beach and even pools essentially unusable despite the men working daily to (slowly) remove some of it up and down the stretch of beach. (3) Mosquitoes and humidity were a constant and typical according to the locals this time of year. That said, we would return to this condo again, but would opt for a different time of year...
